Hillary and the Democrats Properly Rated for 2008

November 22nd, 2007 at 11:11am Mark Noonan

Scrappleface gets down to brass tacks:

“In the White House, First Lady Clinton worked side-by-side with Vice President Al Gore, who I defeated in 2000,” said Mr. Bush, “In the Senate, she served alongside John Kerry and John Edwards, who I defeated in 2004. No one else in the race has such broad-ranging experience with what it means to be a Democrat presidential candidate in the 21st century.”

The president noted that “the very fact that Sen. Clinton is now debating with rookie Sen. Barack Obama over who has more experience serving in an executive position, which neither senator has ever done, further demonstrates that among Democrats she’s seasoned, prime beef. As my friends in the ranching business say, ‘It’s what’s for dinner’.”

Looking forward to 2008.

Hilarious coming from a President that spent the first 50 years of his life as a no-account professional son and made ignorance a virtue. Just hilarious. Can you put those quips in your masthead so I can enjoy them for months instead of just a day or two?

    An ignorant fighter pilot/MBA?

    Interesting…

searp, so what’s your point? Aside from its stereotypical hatefilled nonsensical radical Lefty rhetoric, that is. Given the vileness of your post, coupled with its ignorance, I have to wonder just what YOU have accomplished in YOUR life.

Graduated from Yale? Gotten an MBA from Harvard? Become a skilled pilot of a supersonic jet fighter? Worked on political campaigns? Been elected ….ANYTHING????? Been praised for your skills as governor of the second largest state in the Union? Been elected TWICE to lead the most powerful nation in the history of the world?

No, pooooor baby, just got to whine about his betters. Which I am guessing number in the hundreds of millions.

    But back to the thread..

What fascinates me about Hillary is that she is running against Bush. Maybe someone should tell her he’s not running this time.

But you see, she HAS to run against Bush, because the Dem Hate Machine has been so spectacularly successful in generating this massive loathing of the man, created out of whole cloth, based on lies, but appealing to so many of a certain pathology that finally others have started to think there might be a kernel of truth in it.

We political watchers have been sitting back, bemused, wondering what the radical All Hate All The Time Libs were going to pull out of their —- hat—– for the ‘08 election. Surely they could not count on being so successful a second time. Surely even millions of registered Dems would see through the effort to demonize yet another candidate.

So what is left but to continue down the only path that has ever been successful for them? To trash the President……..

The other thing that fascinates me is Hillary’s chutzpah in being the prime instrument in the Poltiics of Personal Destruction and then trying to posture as a victim of same.

I am still holding out hope that someone we have never heard of before, an independent non-libertarian, wins the White House in 2008 and that Independent non-republican, non-democrat, non- Demo-publican, non-Libertarians win 400 seats in the house and all the seats up for election in the senate. I also hope that the independents can hold their seats or at least keep them independent and that they can pick up to 80 seats in the Senate in 6 years.

a no-account professional son and made ignorance a virtue

This contains an implied contradiction to the charge of “Bush lied” about WMDs. In order for a statement to be a lie, not only must it be wrong, but the person saying it must know that it’s wrong. If Bush knew about the lack of WMD, it means he wasn’t ignorant.

Such contradictions aren’t new. Bush “misled” Congress about those WMD, Senator Kerry claimed. Yet, we’re also told that Bush is exceptionally stupid. So despite his alleged stupidity, Bush still was able to deceive all those people. How stupid does that make them?

But Bush appears to be ignorant on one thing, and that’s grammar. It should be “whom I defeated”.

So just exactly how is hating President Bush going to solve terrorism, taxes, social security, the erosion of 1st and 2nd Amendment rights, abortion, education, and provide equality under the law?

Bigfoot, it is your attention that is lacking. The above was authored by scrappleface, not W, thus the grammatical error goes to scrappleface.
