Congratulations to Mr. Latta! However, it’s worth noting that the Democrat in the race is currently pulling in 44% of the vote in a district that hasn’t been won by a Democrat since the Great Depression. Also, the National Republican Congressional Committee spent about 20% of their cash on hand to maintain control of the one seat.

These are 2 big wins for us even if they are only holds. It seems as if the GOP voters are firmly back in the boat and are saying loudly this isnt 2006 anymore.

It does not behoove the GOP electorate to sit out 2008. A Clinton/Obama/Edwards WH, and a solid Donkaroach majority in both houses will doom this country. All the lefy rhetoric about loss of civil liberties will come to fruition under these neo-Stalinists–the (un)Fairness Doctrine, activist justices, food police, radical environmentalism, and taxes out the ying-yang.
Is this what you want? Have at it; I’ll be a-watchin’ from afar…

Aww, c’mon, you know I’m just kidding, but that was just too good a setup. Mooo-oo-ooo.
