Attacking By Attacking The Attacks

Man, it is so amusing to watch Democrats pretend like they are above negative campaigning and attacks (with the exception of attacking Bush or Republicans, of course) and yet, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have both launched sites chronicling attacks made against them by the other. There’s Obama’s Hillary Attacks site and there’s Hillary’s Attack Timeline site.
It’s nice to see that Democrats are above attacks and negative campaigning.

It’s nice, but the real fun is watching them eat each other. And still placing the blame on the evil Bush, Rove, and Cheney. NeoClowns all.

I did not know what political hate was until I witnessed the 90s. Even during Watergate people were angry and shocked the government of Roosevelt, Eisenhower and Kennedy had sunk to such an ultimate low; but I did not see the absolute hate for the man (except of course for some Vietnam protestors). The nation just wanted him gone, and he obliged the members of his own party. Not until hate radio was perfected during the Clinton administration did our nation witness such vitriol. This is probably the same type of political hate witnessed during the time of our civil war. Day after day primarily Limbaugh and wannabes prove there is a lot of money to be made from the naïve righwing by dissing and belittling our leaders. To Limbaugh bringing down a leader with debate takes too long; Swiftboat and smear him or her; that is the ticket. The rest as they say is history. This is not to say the far left has not flung some mud back, but they certainly don’t have most of AM dial, corporate newspapers and Fox News Corporation for their platform. Not sure when we will ever have honest political discourse again.
This is why I conclude with my whole hear, Rush Limbaugh is the most vial and putrid person of our generation. He has reduced debating of an issue to simple mockery of the messenger

Well, Jane, one person’s hate is another person’s entertainment. It’s clear from your comments that you don’t listen to Limbaugh. I doubt that you would want to live in a country where the Rush Limbaugh’s aren’t allowed free speech. Well, actually, maybe you would, but most of us wouldn’t.
Just out of curiosity, what have you heard Rush say that, in your mind, earns him the title of “most vial (sic) and putrid person of our generation”?
but they certainly don’t have most of AM dial,
It hasn’t been for lack of trying or money invested. Bottom line: even on the rare occasion when Liberals are right, they’re no fun to listen to. Who would want to listen to someone like you?
corporate newspapers
You’re kidding, right?
and Fox News
OK, I’ll give you that one, although Liberals have a substantially larger platform on Fox News than Conservatives do on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN & MSNBC.

You are kidding me. Every democrat or organization that runs counter to Limbaugh’s twisted and money-grubbing view of America is not debated but belittled. Do you really need a recount of the descriptions he used for the 42nd President of the United States? The man can’t sign a single piece of legislation and Limbaugh still does not let up on the man. Women who don’t bend over and submit to their husbands are Nazis. Those who would protect our environment are not debated they are just called those Environmental Wako’s, Dingy Harry, Piglosi, Michael Fox faking the seriousness of Parkinson, young child asking for health care is a stooge. I could fill a book. No debate, just three quality hours a day of hate radio.
It has always amazed me as to why Christians of all people would turn him and Hannity on day in and day out. There is a former ditto head at work, nice Catholic fellow, who just turned Limbaugh off and said no more. He said Limbaugh moved away from being informative to a propagandist. He didn’t think this was healthy. 1/20/09. Merry Christmas

Spook,
How about Rush doing his “Obama Osama” mockery?
How about his Gitmo t-shirt line?
How about mocking Michael J. Fox’s disease?
How about (in August) saying Dems are only interested in Darfur so they can secure the “black voting block”?
We can go on and on with this if you want? I didn’t even bring up the “phony soldiers” comment because I know you guys defend him to the death on that one.

Fred recently called Huck a liberal.
All of the candidates in both parties are using this strategy to avoid being pinned down on the issues.
All of the candidates in both parties, with a few degree variations, have decided what the public wants to hear and are saying that is what they support.
All of the candidates in both parties spend their time trying to say that the other candidates don’t actually support the issues that they say they do.
You get to decide, who is lying the least.

It was not a good day today for Repug unity on the Rush Limbaugh show. Seems the Huckabee campaign accused Limbaugh of being part of the “Wall Street-Washington Axis” (whatever that is, but with the word Axis in it, it does not sound good.) and calling a devote Baptist Minister a Huckster. Limbaugh for his part did set the record straight he was only referring to Hucabee’s supporters as Hucksters; what fun.
