Nobody Expects the Canadian Inquisition! Thompson Still Rising?

How Ironic

Louisiana’s Daily Advertiser quotes Senator Mary Landrieu on governor Kathleen Blanco, “In a state that’s been tarred with a lot of corruption charges, she has served with a great deal of integrity.”

Meanwhile, as we’ve pointed out before, Landrieu is tarred with her own bribery scandal.

While I admit that I don’t think the authors of B4V are the most objective of commentators, and while I acknowledge that those called on to speak at a political “eulogy” are neither required or inclined to speak the truth, but to suggest that Kathleen Blanco served “with a great deal of integrity” is a bit outside the box.

Then again, it’s better than saying Blanco served with a great deal of competence.

At any rate, I really hope that Bobby Jindal makes great strides in cleaning up the swamp that is Louisiana politics.

Kathleen “Babbling” Blanco…… the governor who had a commission for everything, where blame could be put elsewhere.

The governor who made possible for the term the “Blanco stare”, which came about during one of her infamous press conferences after hurricane Katrina, when asked what took so long in her mobilizing the state’s National Guard. Who also later admitted on an open microphone that “I should have asked for help sooner”.

The government school teacher turned governor - that should say it all.

The most incompetent governor Louisiana ever had - the most probable reason as to why she was never involved in scandal, good bribery money wasted - good riddance!

What he said! And I will be making a similar quote 1/20/09.

I am anxious to see your quote Jane as you bid farewell to Bush and welcome in President Romney, McCain or Giulani.

Incidentally, considering Obamas current ties to Illinois corruption and Hillarys past ties to everything corrupted, what makes you believe that their admins would be any better? Also, do you realize that Harry Reid is probably the most corrupt and incompetent Speaker EVER? All THREE of his boys have found lucrative lobbying jobs. And Pelosi’s son did as well. Now that’s change!!!!!
