Nader, ‘08?

From the “you’ve got to be kidding me” file:

MONTREAL (Reuters) - Consumer advocate Ralph Nader said on Monday he will decide soon on whether to make a another bid for the White House in 2008, eight years after playing a key role as a third party presidential candidate.

“I’ll decide in about a month,” he said in an interview broadcast on CBC Radio’s Daybreak show in Montreal.

“What I’m deciding on right now is whether we can get enough volunteers, enough financial resources to overcome the huge ballot access obstacles, which you don’t experience here in Canada, but which are the worst in the Western world in the United States,” said Nader, who will turn 74 on February 27.

I can’t imagine a mindset which thinks that Nader should run in 2008…but never underestimate the self-absorbtion of a lefty…

Heh. Why not incourage the old f**t. Every little bit helps. Surely, he would splinter off a few votes from the Dem candidate. All it takes is for old Ralph to think he can win. No problem.

I’ll vote for the old buzzard if McCain gets the GOP nomination. That way I can say I voted. My vote won’t matter; it’ll be only one in a handful Nader receives…

you know Mark the simple fact of the matter is that Ralph Nader is probably one of the most educated, qualified, and experienced candidates out there.
