The Insidious Plot of Hillary Clinton?

Interesting, from NRO’s The Corner:
Top Obama adviser David Axelrod just said there is an “insidious pattern” of racially insensitive remarks coming from the Clinton campaign. Speaking on a conference call to address the remarks of former Rep. Geraldine Ferraro, Axelrod criticized what he called the Clinton campaign’s “light statement of disagreement to what was an offensive statement from Congresswoman Ferraro,” who said that Obama would not be where he is if he were white. “This has been a pattern,” Axelrod continued, citing “the Bill Shaheen incident,” “the Bob Johnson incident,” and “Senator Clinton’s own inexplicable unwillingness to make a direct statement” affirming Obama’s Christianity.
MORE: Axelrod’s entire statement:
Leadership in campaigns comes from the very top, and the signals that have been sent from the Clinton campaign have been very unfortunate. Not just in this instance, where they offered a light statement of disagreement in response to what was an offensive statement coming from Congresswoman Ferraro. But this has been a pattern that we’ve seen throughout the campaign, whether it was the Bill Shaheen incident, the Bob Johnson incident, Sen. Clinton’s own inexplicable unwillingness to make a direct statement on ‘60 Minutes’ about Sen. Obama’s Christianity, even though they’ve shared prayer groups together in Congress. All of it is part of an insidious pattern that needs to be addressed.
Is it such a plot? Perhaps - we’ve long learned that Hillary, Inc will do anything to win; could it be that Hillary, et al are lightly inserting into to debate questions about Obama’s religion and ethnicity? Things were pretty quiet on the Obama front until Obama started to win, and then we here in the blogophere started to get deluged with all sorts of things about Obama related to his religion and ethnic background. Who was the person who went about digging all this stuff up? Wasn’t the media - until a week or so ago, the MSM was completely in love with Obama and wasn’t even remotely interested in tripping him up…

Obama is a Christian, and has been going to the same church for decades. Unlike Hillary Clinton, Obama didn’t just try on Christian clothes for political expediency - he was a Christian long before he ever went near politics.
You folks on the Right are supposed to like that short of thing - no? You can have all of the policy disputes you want with Obama - that’s all fair. But whatever your ideological differences with him, his Christian faith is unquestionably genuine.

This insidious plot to which you refer is normal operating procedures for the Clintons. This is how they drag people down into the gutter where they know how to fight dirty and where people like Obama prefer to avoid. But unanswered charges and claims, even those just hinted at, like “at least I think he is (a Christian), and all the racial and sexist slurs have their collective effect at hacking away at Obama. It makes him look weak. If he tries to answer the vicious attacks, the Clintons cry foul or come back with a worse charge or rumor. Hillary’s strategy has Obama confused about how to rise above it and get back on his successful message of hope and change. He better figure it out soon or when it comes time to divide up the delegates and pick a nominee, Obama will lose.

Actually it is more of a racist cult, than a “church” whose “minister” has close ties with the nation of islam and, louis fartacan.

Oh, I don’t know Marky.
“STEVE DOOCY: Why didn’t anybody ever mention that that man right there was raised — spent the first decade of his life, raised by his Muslim father — as a Muslim and was educated in a madrassa?”

“(Fox News’ John) Gibson wanted to be sure the viewers understood the implications of the Madrassa/Obama connection but avoided taking responsibility of suggesting a terrorist link. Instead he explained how Americans would feel about the news.
“Americans have a visceral reaction to the word madrassa. In our world a madrassa is where zealots train young Muslim kids to hate America, to hate the West, and to be killers. Saying Obama attended a madrassa is tying Obama’s name to terrorism.”
To cover his own butt, Gibson admitted that Obama had openly written in his book that he had attended a Muslim school as a child in Indonesia. Gibson then embellished Obama’s words.
“Obama himself has said in his own book that he attended a predominantly Muslim school as a youngster in Indonesia — translation: madrassa.”
Gee, Marky? Where could these smears EVER have come from?

Hillary wants the job so badly, she and her ilk will throw out anything to see if it sticks.
The Clintons are like Jason, just when you think they are dead and gone, they rise up and come at you with a pitch fork.
