I am still waiting for an apology for that remark as well as his wife snide remark on 60 minutes last year about her assination fear reply of "I don't lose sleep over it because the realities are that, you know, as a black man, you know, Barack can get shot going to the gas station, you know."

Rich White People are Obama's communists. He spent 20 years in a church that taught that.

Since he has not come out and disputed, item by item, the issues on the Wright scandal, its safe to assume that he adheres to the black ethics theology, and not to the ethics of honesty and equality.

I know this is not on-topic, but I hate to see a falsehood go unanswered.

This comment by a member of Obama's team rankled: "“I grew up, I was going to college when Joe McCarthy was accusing good Americans of being traitors, so I’ve had enough of it,” McPeak said."

Yeah, except McCarthy accused 52 people, by name, of being communists---and they were. (I remember the number as 52, anyway.) McCarthy did not go around "accusing good Americans of being traitors". He accused specific people, people high in government, of being COMMUNISTS, and he was proven right.

It is conceivable that a person could be a communist and not be a traitor. But in those days, in that political atmosphere, being a communist high in American government was suspect at best, as we were being told that the communist government of the USSR wanted to destroy us. "Bury" us was one term used.

I feel that it was prudent to wonder if a communist would have the best interests of the United States at heart----just as now I wonder if a man who actively supported a racist and anti-American, who has his daughters attending Sunday School in a church with such teachings, whose wife was never proud of this country in all of her "adult life" (since she joined that church, perhaps?) could have the best interests of this country at heart.

Could have or would have---they are both legitimate questions.

I was bemused by a series of events in Denver, taking place over a period of many years.

The "black community" in Denver complained, and alleged racism, because there was not enough (according to them) police presence in the mostly-black neighborhood which had the highest crime rate. The city "didn't care" about people of color.

The city responded, meeting with community leaders, and increased police patrols in the area.

Then the "black community" complained and alleged racism because of the "police state" imposed upon them by the city and the number of white poiice officers sent in to arrest black people. It was "oppression" and "bigotry" when a white man arrested a black man.

The city responded, met with black community leaders, and embarked on a very aggressive campaign to recruit and train black police officers, who were then assigned to this neighborhodd.

The "black community" complained and said that this was racism, an effort to turn black officers against their black brothers. The black officers were verbally abused, called "Uncle Tom" and shunned in the community.

When arrests were low, the complaint was that "Whitey" just didn't CARE if blacks were killed or raped or robbed.

When arrests went up, the complaint was that "Whitey" was PICKING on black people.

At some point, the perception is created that the "black community" is far more interested in whining and being victims than in identifying and solving problems. So the next question would be, who creates this perception?

And you can't be a victim without a villain.

In the meantime, we have people like Ken Hamblin and Condoleeza Rice and countless others who have simply gone ahead, taken advantage of the opportunities offered in this great country, and succeeded.

I don't wake up every morning and declare "I AM WHITE". My color is a reality, but not the defining element of my life. I think that the most successful and happy people of color also see their color as an integral part of who they are but not the defining element---they are people, that's all, and as individuals they make their choices, and go on with their lives.

As a woman, I have had problems associated with gender. I have been turned down for jobs which payed more than traditional "female" jobs, and I was once told I was the "token c___" in the company. It ticked me off, but it did not make me a victim, or men villains. It was just part of life, and I went on.

I could have fallen for the victim/villain paradigm, but why bother? It not only takes up a lot of time and energy, it erodes the spirit of whoever embraces that way of looking at life.

I personally don't care that Barack Obama has chosen to live two lives---on the surface, a productive and promising member of the American political and cultural scene, a genial and likable guy, who has a darker side in which he indulges in surly resentment of the same white people he appears to get along with, in which he wallows in decades-old grievances which don't even relate to him personally (his black ancestors were not slaves) and nurtures rage and animosity toward other races and religions and the very country which offered him the opportunities to gain the success and wealth he has acquired.

That's fine. That's his right. That's another of the many advantages this country has offered him.

What I object to is the wolf in sheep's clothing, the man who has two faces, the man who actively participates in a very important religious and cultural life which focuses on hatreds and resentments, and which is racist and anti-American, trying to become the President of the United States.

I think this country needs and deserves not only a leader who genuinely loves and respects this country, but who is what his or her public persona says he or she is.

Even his message ---"CHANGE"---is creepy. It implies a bleak and hostile perception of this country, one in which any change at all, in any direction, HAS to better than what we have now. It is pessimistic and negative, while trying to pass itself off as hopeful and postitive. I found it very unpleasant even before I heard the teachings of his two main mentors, and now it seems to fit in very well with the dark and suspicious-of-America message they promulgate.

Another indication that American's don't believe
this "Genocide of white people is okay" line that
liberals are spewing in defending Rev. Wright and
Obama's support of him and his separatist theology.

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll
Saturday, March 22, 2008

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows ongoing volatility in the Democratic Presidential Nomination. Nationally, Hillary Clinton now holds a very slight advantage over Barack Obama, 46% to 44%. Before the story broke about his former Pastor, Obama led Clinton by eight percentage points (see recent daily results). While the national polls remain close, Rasmussen Markets data gives Obama a 79.5 % chance to win the Democratic nomination while expectations for a Clinton victory are at 21.1 %.

Looking ahead to the General Election in November, John McCain continues to lead both potential Democratic opponents. McCain leads Barack Obama 49% to 41% and Hillary Clinton 49% to 43% (see recent daily results). New polling shows McCain leading both Democrats in Georgia and Arkansas. In Minnesota, the race is very close.

On Saturday, Obama’s favorable ratings slipped a little further—46% favorable, 51% unfavorable. Before the Pastor Problem became big news, Obama was viewed favorably by 52%. One month ago, he was viewed favorably by 56%. McCain is viewed favorably by 54% of voters nationwide and unfavorably by 43%. For Clinton, those numbers are 43% favorable, 54% unfavorable (see recent daily results).

You dont heal racial wounds by espousing racial superiority.

Obama may be a charismatic orator, and so was Hitler. Obama belonged to this church for 20 years. Who could believe that he did not know what was going on? Its untenable.

No excuses.

Beware the law of unintended consquences...LOL

<strong>"Obama Aide: Bill Clinton Like McCarthy"</strong>

<blockquote>SALEM, Ore. (AP) - Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign is trying to clarify comments by former President Clinton that seemed to question Barack Obama's patriotism - comments an Obama aide likened to Joseph McCarthy. Clinton's campaign said the comments were being misinterpreted and quickly posted a clarification on its Web site. But retired Air Force Gen. Merrill "Tony" McPeak said he was disappointed by the comments and compared them to those of McCarthy, the 1950s <strong>communist-hunting senator.</strong> [..]

<strong>McPeak</strong>, a former chief of staff of the Air Force and currently <strong>a co-chair of Obama's presidential campaign</strong>, said that sounded like McCarthy.

"I grew up, I was going to college when Joe McCarthy was accusing good Americans of being traitors, so I've had enough of it," McPeak said.</blockquote>

<a href="http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/2289" rel="nofollow">Is Barack Obama A Marxist Mole?</a> - Canada Free Press

<blockquote>In his biography of Barack Obama, David Mendell writes about Obama’s life as a “secret smoker” and how he “went to great lengths to conceal the habit.” But what about Obama’s secret political life? It turns out that <strong>Obama’s childhood mentor</strong>, Frank Marshall Davis, was a <strong>communist.</strong>

In his books, Obama admits attending “socialist conferences” and coming into contact with Marxist literature. But he ridicules the charge of being a “hard-core academic Marxist,” which was made by his colorful and outspoken 2004 U.S. Senate opponent, Republican Alan Keyes.

However, through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the <strong>Communist Party USA (CPUSA). </strong>The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, <strong>he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his “poetry” and getting advice on his career path.</strong> But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just “Frank.” </blockquote>

Seriously, Barack Hussein Obama is dangerous and shouldn't be anywhere near the White House.

Is Barack Obama A Marxist Mole? - Canada Free Press

In his biography of Barack Obama, David Mendell writes about Obama’s life as a “secret smoker” and how he “went to great lengths to conceal the habit.” But what about Obama’s secret political life? It turns out that Obama’s childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, was a communist.

In his books, Obama admits attending “socialist conferences” and coming into contact with Marxist literature. But he ridicules the charge of being a “hard-core academic Marxist,” which was made by his colorful and outspoken 2004 U.S. Senate opponent, Republican Alan Keyes.

However, through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his “poetry” and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just “Frank.”

Seriously, Barack Hussein Obama is dangerous and shouldn’t be anywhere near the White House.
