The Democrats’ Smear Machine Gearing Up Benedict XVI at the UN

Now Why Doesn’t This Surprise Me?

April 18th, 2008 at 07:34pm Leo Pusateri

Time Magazine cheapens the sacrifices made by WWII vets:

Comparing what amounts to tilting at windmills (literally) to the threat once posed by imperial Japan and Nazi Germany shows a blatant level of ignorance.

But mind you, this is the same magazine that took the jihadists’ word that there was a “massacre” at Haditha, and ran with it.

Then again, could anyone expect any more from the bunch of self-centered liberal ingrates that make up the editorial board at Time?

The picture would only make sense if they were jamming that tree up the Editor of “Time”s butt.

I don’t even know how many things with the REAL image I have in the house. Many.

My father served in WWII. He was at that battle.
While he was on the beach, he was asked, “Why don’t you go help those guys put up the flag?”

My dad looked and said, “They got enough guys,” thus missing his chance at immortality.

Who could possibly know such an act would have such wide appeal?

The same thing occurs whenever someone makes comparisons between our debacle in Iraq and WWII. The situation and politics of the two are nearly polar opposites.

I too have many Iwo Jima images around my house.

I also find it a stupid joke, but I wonder why BFV never criticizes the prostitution of our military as they peform as constant backdrops for Bush and Cheney speeches.

Perhaps because he is Commander in Chief, and the members of the military have a stake in what’s happening and in the speech he’s giving.

At least Bush has respect for the military, unlike your boy Slick Willie, who, and I quote, “loathed” the military, and unlike Jean Francois Kerrie, who sold his fellow Vietnam vets down the river in his Winter Soldier testimony, not to mention your golden boy, Jack Murtha, who pretty much convicted (falsely) the Haditha Marines of cold blooded murder, before any formal investigations or briefings.

Dems support our troops at their own convenience, much like arsonists support firefighters.

“At least Bush has respect for the military…”

2004 Conservative Convention… they were handing out PURPLE BANDAIDS mocking John Kerry’s Purple hearts…. Yup, they have loads of respect for the military…

But thats not Bush, thats his party right? And John Kerry’s record is not what he says, right?

So I ask you one simple question, When does making a complete mockery of a medal (purple heart) that the military awards to soldiers who are injured in battle become politics? I mean how do you justify just mocking one politician by it and not the entire service? Is it because he was a Democrat? How can you in the same conscience ignore GWB’s drug use while in the military?

The thing is I don’t think you, Mark or Matt are delusional, I really think your quite clever. Just like Ann Coulter. I think you know the difference in what your saying but you just have no morals whatsoever. Either that or no conscience. You say things to get a reaction out of people, good or bad it really doesn’t matter as long as they react. It kind of reminds me of the woman who slept around in highschool craving attention. She didn’t care how people spoke of her, as long as they did. But you take it to the next level. You mask this behavior behind your ‘God’ like some 21st century version of a cardinal in a three musketeers movie.

To some extent people have seen you as right, but a lot has changed in 8 years. People are more educated and are starting to realize it’s all smoke and mirrors. It’s evident in your hypocrisy on a daily basis. Complaining about campaign smearing just like your 2000 and 2004 campaigns never happened.

Time to go back to the drawing board. In Obama you have found a candidate who not only repels what you can throw at him, but makes you look like fools in throwing it in the first place. I really can’t wait until November if he is the nominee. Especially when you keep saying he doesn’t wear his lapel pin, put his hand over his heart, or talk about his preacher when gas reaches $4.50 - $5.00 and were in a declared recession come November.

” And John Kerry’s record is not what he says, right?”

you mean the record he swore before congress? absolutely

if he could lie about attrocities in Nam, how could anyone expect words out of his mouth to be the truth….

  • 11. Some Assembly Required  |  April 19th, 2008 at 12:35 am

Do you have concrete absolute Proof of this that would stand up in court?!?! If you do I concede my arguement and agree with you whole heartedly. Some how I don’t think you do, otherwise he would be in jail for purgery. Funny huh…..

Um so ah, where are you from Sam? You are over here getting an education because our system, the system you despise produces good schools and productive people and your system produces mentally retarded little boys blowing themselves up and widespread wife beating. Great. maybe your system is flawed? Naw. Couldn’t be that.

But the War of Global Warming is over, errr……I mean the debate of global warming is over. That is what algore has stated time and again.

Isn’t is a fact that global warming is real, errr…I mean climate change?

I mean the libs apply a take no prisoners approach on anyone who is skeptical no matter what evidence is contrary to their “facts”. There is more evidence that libs do not want to solve global warming/climate change just want to impose more taxes errrr….carbon credits and poorer countries are demanding more money from others to fight the “battle” without doing anything.

Also didn’t some international organization the IMF (not sure) try to steal/take funds from the international global warming pie that were intended for global warming projects for some other purpose?

It’s a scam of international proportions - this makes the UN’s “Oil for Food” program like a bake sale.

True the President is Commander and Chief of the military. But you will have to agree the VP is not and the current one is a draft dodging deferment laden Chicken hawk and does not deserve having the military used as a prop just as Time should not have taken anything away from this important military event in history

  • 16. Kahn  |  April 19th, 2008 at 11:14 am

Except of course for the fact that he is Vice-Presdident of the United States.

Chillie, the foamy video is for you also.

    >>>So I ask you one simple question, When does making a complete mockery of a medal (purple heart) that the military awards to soldiers who are injured in battle become politics?<<<

When those purple hearts are awarded by ones self .
Being the boat commander he recommended himself for the PH’s.
    This is unheard of.
He then used them to ABANDON his command, and men returning home spreading lie after lie about what he saw in his LESS than four months in country.
He is a FAKE and a LIAR ….thats why.
He recieved PH’s for band aid “wounds” that would be laughed at by ordinary fighting men, and their officers.

Sort of like the blatant ignorance of comparing the threat of Saddam Hussein to the threat posed by Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany…
