The Sins of The Predecessor

Looks like Hillary’s put her foot in her mouth again… She’s now blasting Bush for not ending a project that was approved by her husband’s administration.
Hillary Clinton loves to tell the story about how the Chinese government bought a good American company in Indiana, laid off all its workers and moved its critical defense technology work to China.
It’s a story with a dramatic, political ending. Republican President George W. Bush could have stopped it, but he didn’t.
If she were president, Clinton says, she’d fight to protect those jobs. It’s just the kind of talk that’s helping her win support from working-class Democrats worried about their jobs and paychecks, not to mention their country’s security.
What Clinton never includes in the oft-repeated tale is the role that prominent Democrats played in selling the company and its technology to the Chinese. She never mentions that big-time Democratic contributor George Soros helped put together the deal to sell the company or that the sale was approved by her husband’s administration.
What’s next, is Hillary going to blame President Bush for the Defense of Marriage Act? The assassination of President Kennedy?
Democrats are so hellbent on blaming President Bush for anything and everything it would be nice this campaign season for them to stop pointing fingers and blaming Bush for everything they think they can make a campaign issue of. But, that won’t happen. Democrats blame Bush for everything to cover up their own lack of leadership.

Matt,
For once, I agree with you. George W. Bush has been the agent of enough real damage to the United States and its Constitution that there’s no need to exaggerate. Fortunately for him, he’s extremely popular and rated highly for his performance on Iraq, the economy…

Yeah, creating jobs and protecting us from terrorists is real damage…
you’re so hopeless.

just weighing the statements you make on this blog DP, i would expect that texas jails are quit full of innocent victims of your interpetations of the law…as screwed up as your crackerbox analogies are when you post here, you probably are one of the causes that drive texans to lose faith in law enforcement…

That must be why he has such high approval ratings!

Diana’s either extremely wealthy, or she’s a college student. You know, one of those cows who are brainwashed by the socialist mantra of Hillbama.
These kooks are hopeless, Matt. It’s BDS. They hate all things GOP.
btw, has anyone else noticed how high food and gas prices have gone since the Donkaroaches took control of Congress?
I know, I know–it’s all Bush’s fault, ’cause he’s in charge, right?
Idiots…

This “acquisition” was another payback for all those Chinese contributions Clinton received.
Really pathetic. Clinton sets up China as a replacement for most of the cheap crap manufacturing, toys and others which allowed companies to outsource in the unfriendly business tax scheme the liberals have created.
But who gets the blame?
BDS, and it’s only going to get worse. The liberals will stop at nothing and stoop to everything to regain the power they think they deserve.

“(In 2003) Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Ind., and Rep. Pete Visclosky, D-Ind., said the move would leave the United States without a significant domestic source of rare-earth magnets used in smart bombs. The Valparaiso plant made about 80 percent of the magnets bought by the Pentagon, they said. The (Bush) administration didn’t block the move.”
These statements from the article just about say it all. No question Rove, Bush and the slugs thought the loss of 200+ jobs would make the two Democratic Indiana Senators look bad going into the 2004 election.
Loss of good middle class jobs or military technology mean nothing if the Cons can gain one more vote to move their agenda.

I guess SeaSick makes a good case for President Bush to fix another Bubba ChiCom mistake.
FTA-
“What Clinton never includes in the oft-repeated tale is the role that prominent Democrats played in selling the company and its technology to the Chinese. She never mentions that big-time Democratic contributor George Soros helped put together the deal to sell the company or that the sale was approved by her husband’s administration.”
Now if only the LibIdiots would get on board with President Bush and fix the damage from Bubba’a veto of drilling in ANWR 14 years ago or AlGore’s tie breaking vote as veep that brought us mandatory ethanol blends in gasoline.

Nebraska is right. We should just dig up ANWR as soon as possible. At current rates of consumption, 12 million barrels per day or 4.3 giga barrels a year- we will deplete ANWR’s 18 giga barrels in 4 years. AND THEN WHAT!!! Then maybe we can really start focusing on alternate and renewable resources… ya right, I’m just joking- oil forever!!

then maybe we could drill the gulf, pump out enough oil to lower the sea level by a few hundred feet, and sell sea shore real estate to democrats!!
