Just a rumor trumped up and spread by one blogger who still can’t get over Mitt losing. From now until the end of July there will likely be rumors of 5 or 6 different people ‘topping’ McCain’s short list – all in an effort to trump up support for their favorite.
It’s a good idea to float Mitt, but have McCain officially deny that Romney is under consideration. The Dems, the MSM and Soros will start bashing him anyway with the usual anti-Mormon bile,. Then a few weeks down the road there will be a suggestion of another candidate and watch the libs start on them.
Eventually, their rabid attacks on just about everyone, Mormon, Catholic, black woman, Asian man; will both show them as knee-jerk asshats, and will deplete the Soros war chest.
Please nominate Mitt. If you thought Jeremiah Wright is extreme, wait till you get a load of the things Joseph Smith and Brigham Young said (and did: think “massacre”). Remember, these guys just quit discriminating against African-Americans in 1978, when Mitt was a full-grown man. Let’s hear him denounce his church that his family has belonged to for generations. Speaking of generations, wasn’t Mitt’s grandfather a polygamist? Think so.
This will be fun.
How about Mitt’s mutt? The Boston Globe did a puff piece on a 1970’s Mitt’s family and their annual summer “load the car” excursion to some Michigan getaway. As Mrs. Mitt described it to the press, Mitt would put the family Golden Retreiver in a cage, lash said cage onto the roof of the family wagon and drive said wagon till they needed gas. Apparently, according to Mrs. Mitt and the now adult Mitt boys, the poor dog would invariably become frightened, get diarhea and cover the tailgate window with feces. The five boys and mom have hilarious memories of a muttering Mitt having to hose off the car. Ahhhh, family memories. Yeah gotta love em.
Only problem, the story caused a mini fire storm when dog lovers screamed foul and even the ASPCA waded in and stated that Mitt had been breaking the law along with the poor dog’s balls.
Thank goodness we have liberals monitoring our movements. It’s amazing mankind has survived without those incessant, self righteous, oppressive, pugnacious little twerps, right marty?
Incidentally, have you all heard about the natural cooling period of the earth predicted now for the next decade?
Time to change those talking points and start scaring everyone about the coming ice age.

Seriously Neo, you gotta stop gripping it so hard. It’s really starting to restrict the blood flow to your brain.
I just found the Mitt mutt story to be completely ludicrous and exemplary of the liberal desire to “govern” the most minute detail of peoples lives.
Secondly, many Japanese scientists are predicting a “natural” cooling of the earth over the next decade. I was just wondering if liberals will still blame man made global warming for that? Or discredit the studies?
It would make sense that once the earth heats up it would then have to cool down. I have never been one to follow the whole global warming agenda because it is used more as a scare tactic than anything else. Though I don’t really fault the movement for doing so because people in general are selfish and disconcerned about the environment- the only way people will change is if they feel their livelyhoods are threatened. I just wish people would realize that while the global warming thing may be a farse- the things we do to our environment are destroying it. We have to adapt to a more sustainable lifestyle before things get to far out of hand. Global warming probably is BS but the global food shortages and rapidly decreasing supply of fresh water is certainly not. Now, GET BACK TO THE TOPIC!
Personally, I don’t want Mitt on the ticket.
