Obama is breaking his word, McCain is keeping his. President Bush still run rings around the Democrats, Pelosi and Reid still haven’t figured out how to run a Congress.
All in all, a good time to be a Republican.
Discuss these and any other issues you wish.

Pelosi/Reid and Dem Congress give OK to spy on American citizens. Thank you Dubya for protecting us. Now when will the Dems cave on drilling, nuclear energy and coal?
Next.
Peace.
Thank you Dubya.

only a morons think the Supreme Commander of the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marines should be curtailed and hobbled in time of war…the rest of us understand that its pretty easy for the enemy to show up on our shores and plot attacks against us like they did in 9-11…

All in all, a good time to be a Republican.
It’s never a bad time to be a Republican. Consider the alternative–you have to be a liar, a thief, a hypocrite, and, in the case of Donkaroaches who pollute this blog, you have to be a moron…
4. OpChaosUK | June 20th, 2008 at 10:33 am
Why do the Donkaroaches who pollute this blog ignore the actions of their leaders?

Open thread. Here’s a good article about the “industry standard” for the Democrats and their culture of corruption, amorality, and outright theft/rape of American business.

neocon,
what happened to your 13 000 DJIA, dropping unemployment and strong dollar that Bush was responsible for?
Now that all of that has reversed the converse is suddenly the fault of Congress.
7. SEW | June 20th, 2008 at 11:16 am
Does anyone remember what the promises of the Dems for 2006 were? Something about cut and run, lower gas prices, and ending “spying on American citizens”? As usual, all lies to get elected. Catering to their tinfoil hat wearers to get elected.

I would like to know that since so many here would like to see the US or Israel take out Iran’s nuclear capability by military force how do they feel that the confirmation of that “dry run” by the Israeli Air Force has driven crude oil prices up $4 a barrel?
So you conservatives are willing to pay $7 for gasoline to bomb Iran but you are not willing to pay $4 because of demand plus speculation plus environmental concerns?

McCain is now stating along with GWB that he was for the Webb GI Bill all along. What a liar!
10. Pain | June 20th, 2008 at 11:22 am
How come John McCain will not fill out a Midwest Democracy Network Presidential Candidate Questionnaire as Barack Hussein Obama has? What does McCain have to hide?
We find McCain’s silence in this matter very disturbing because it is a trust and integrity issue.

Actually, neither the President nor Congress can do much about the economy. That is, unless Earbama comes along with his socialism. You think it’s in bad shape now, just wait until Earbama screws it up, all the while disarming our nukes.
Of course, he’s doing the nukes in to make us safer.
Gabby, you’re new here, no? Another one of hell’s legions? I guess you’re a “journalist” too, huh?

Pain, well Obama promised to use public financing in one of these questionnaires. So we see what THATs worth.
Just keep running on no new oil (because you’ve never heard of supply and demand), socialism, suppression of speech, and gun control. Also, keep saying that Bin Laden deserves a trial and arresting Marines and soldiers who kill our enemies.

Welllll, he is a maverick, and he does hang with some pretty left-wing Donkaroaches. This probably explains the trust and integrity issues.
How’s come you moved, keef?
Jeremiah, my wife’s job took her here, and she allowed me to come along. Being that I’m currently unemployed, I have a lot of time on my hands, and must stay busy because you know what they say: The devil finds work for idle hands. Geez, the devil! I don’t want to end up with the Brimmers…

I don’t want to end up with the Brimmers…
Not no need to worry, keef, you just trust in the Lord and everything’ll be alright.
Speaking of idle hands, did anybody see this.?
I haven’t seen that anywhere on mainstreams media!
How’s come the things people need to know the most they never get to hear it?

Kahn,
Are you talking about the Ruger SR9? I got to hold a few different set-ups of this gun. Very nice. Somewhat pricey if I remember correctly, but hey, it’s a Ruger; good quality products.

it was quite a thing to see John McCain denouncing Barack Obama for breaking his word on public financing when McCain himself is at this moment breaking the law in continuing to spend over the spending limits he promised to abide by through the primary season in exchange for public financing. (By the FEC’s rules, we’re still in the primary phase of the election and will be until the conventions.)
I want to return to this subject though because this is not hyperbole or some throw away line. He’s really doing it. McCain opting into public financing, accepted the spending limits and then profited from that opt-in by securing a campaign saving loan. And then he used some clever, but not clever enough lawyering, to opt back out. And the person charged with saying what flies and what doesn’t — the Republican head of the FEC — said he’s not allowed to do that. He can’t opt out unilaterally unless the FEC says he can.
The most generous interpretation of what happened is that McCain’s lawyer came up with an ingenious legal two step that allowed him to double dip in the campaign finance system, eat his cake and spend it too. But even if you buy that line, successful gaming of the system doesn’t really count as strict adherence. And the point is irrelevant since the head of the FEC — a Republican — says McCain cannot do this on his own.

The Demo-publicans once again showed the citizens of this nation that they DO NOT HAVE A SPINE and rolled over and got into lock step with george and approved the phone companies spying on the citizens of the nation with-out fear of lawsuits. The demo-publicans just lost the senate and house.

That’s just wrong, Mr. McCain truly sincerely loves and believes in America.
Obama on the other hand, he panders to the interests of Islamist people who DO hate America.
What a sad, sad, very sad life it must be, when the only things you’ve got in life are those that benefit you and rejects those around you.
Obama is no different that anybody else right now, and in that, I mean has job and he’ll still have a job if he gets to be President…the only problem, how many will have jobs after he becomes President?
Did you ever look back to Hitler’s time?
Greed always leads to an implementation of eugenics, peoples needlessly driven to their graves for personal gain, greed, that’s what it is…while the man in power sits back with his harem of lady friends feeding him, giving him fruit and drink layed up in a hamech between two palm trees with a cool ocean breeze in a far off island while his country is being destroyed. But he has no fear, he’s just too rich to realize it.
Who wants that?
22. Mccain.says.he.hates.america | June 20th, 2008 at 1:27 pm
McCain told Sean Hannity that he did not love America until after he was captured by the Vietnamese. After America was ‘taken’ from him is when he realized he loved her.
I did not say that, McCain did.

No thread on the FISA capitulation by Pelosi and Hoyer to a President with a 24% approval rating?
Bin Laden and Al-Qeda in 2008 once again prove our Constitution is nothing more than a piece of paper with word meanings that can be changed by nothing more than fear. Tonight we say so long to the Fourth Amendment.

EVERGREEN: Pelosi and Hoyer are Republican back-benchers in my eyes. John Boehner is the Speaker of the House and Blunt is the Majority Leader.
I am so glad not to live in the USA anymore. I have a little respect for Republicans who at least have the gumption to fight for their beliefts. Democrats are supposed to be the opposition but for some reason only a few are willing to assume that role.
I have no illusions that Obama isn’t just another version of scared Democrat, but at least he’s ONLY a conservative and not a Nazi like McCain.

I like it here and respect everyone who posts and comments here way more than I respect Pelosi and Hoyer and Reid. People here have the courage of their convictions and express them.
Liberal blogs are horrible because they’ll find some way to justify this FISA vote. It’s great not to have to be a Democrat anymore because they always find new and more horrible ways to disappoint you.

More than you can know. Because it gives me TREMENDOUS joy to share with everyone I encounter, whether it be in person, or here on these intertubes what a wonderful gift God has given to everyone and that it’s only through His Son that we are able to receive life. How wonderful, How excellent, How marvelous indeed, the God we serve….there’s no words to describe His AMAZING grace. And I can’t help but say…Thank You God, for your free gift, without You my existence would not be possible, and it just sets me on fire to say to you Vicodin……’Come and be a part, come and experience your free gift….It’s YOUR’S and NO ONE can EVER take it away from you!!! All you have to do is say is….Dear Lord Jesus come into my heart and fill me with your spirit!!!
I’m held to no standard but my own because man created god. God didn’t create man.
Where would you be?
We’ll all see what happens when we run out of air to breathe.
‘When we ALL meet with Jesus what day of rejoicing that will be’…… COME ON….LET’S GO!!
I’m taking my chances.
Don’t play games, friend, it’s not worth it!
I know plenty of religious people who love Jesus and don’t use their religion as excuses to damn other people.
That’s good! But what a sin it would be if we never told people the half truth….The True love is in telling others that they have a choice, and it’s ours for the taking…..that’s why no one can get you to heaven except you, you have to choose to love God…because He loves YOU!
It is joy unspeakable and full of glory!
Let the truth come alive within you!!
But that’s something you’re just going to have to work out with Jesus, isn’t it?
I already have….have you?
COME ON…LET’S GO!!
Psalm 118:24 remember it…..’For this is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it’.

Not loving equals hating?
42. Jeremiah | June 21st, 2008 at 12:02 am
Not loving equals hating?
Yes!
But I guess you could say…”not caring” as more worthy of an explanation.
Vicodin said he knew plenty of people who are Christians and they never damn people.
And I said, ‘that’s good!’
But where so many fail is in the fact that they share the warnings as well as the love…you know, God loved people by giving them the hard facts, and the Bible says…’You believe in God? Good, even the demons know that and tremble….and also says, ‘They that do not believe are already condemned.’ Which proves that, either way, we come to the point of accountability and are at a point of awareness, as Christians we don’t have to make known to the unsaved person who refuses to believe in Jesus Christ that they are condemned already, but it’s showing them the care and love through God’s Word that counts because of the world’s misunderstanding and unwillingness to accept their state of sorrow.
So all in all, it is our obligation to show our love through challenging people morally as stated in God’s Word…….To too many, like Vicodin, they take it as “hatred” but it’s not, it is simply sharing a morsel of hope for their eternal soul.

Seriously! Someone saying they didn’t love America until after they were captured fighting for America doesn’t have the same meaning has someone saying they’ve never been proud of their country. Of course he loved America he went to Naval Academy, before going to Vietnam he wasn’t drafted. The man went and fought for the country because he loved it.
