The Almighty of the Old Testment is the same as the Almighty of the new. But there are facets of his philisophy that are revealed in the New that are different from the old, and this is where you oldsters fail when you try to present the Gospel to others. To wit:

Exodus ch 21/Lines 20-21

When a man strikes his male or female slave witha rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or 2, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property.

The Hebrews leader, Moses, just having freed his people from hard bondage, tells them that the almighty has said this meets with his approval.
Note the punishment here for slave owners causing immediate death isn’t even spelled out.
Start explaining, sir. Can’t wait to hear your explanation for your refusal to cite New Testament from the Lord in light of this and other statements and stories from the old.
