Why Biden Might Not Get the VP Nod
August 20th, 2008 at 04:18am Mark Noonan
From Politico:
A classic Joe Biden ad from 1988, which begins: “The White House isn’t the place to learn how to deal with international crisis, the balance of power, war and peace, and the economic future of the next generation. A President has got to know the territory, but that’s not enough.”
Experience was a major theme of Biden’s pitch in the primary (take the above, and add 20 years), and it’s a contrast they’ll have to aim to avoid if he’s Obama’s running mate.
If Biden gets the nod, you can bet the GOP will run that ad again and again and again.

What real experience does McCain have?
It appears to me his only real experience is with granting the wishes of lobbyists and voting against benefits for vets.
Plus on top of that, it is obvious he is in the advance stages of senility. His staff blames gaffs on the side effects of the Ambien he takes to sleep, but it is obvious he suffering Alzheimer’s.
Between his ignorance of foreign affairs and his anger management issues due to PTSD, he is a disaster waiting to happen.

Johnny,
The blatantly obvious, and highly relevant experience that McCain has, dwarfs the lefts recent attempts to paint him as senile.
In fact, these ageist attacks on McCain only underscores the lefts realization that their candidate is flawed and can not win.
See you in November

It is so blatantly obvious that neocon can’t manage to mention one thing.
Since this is a site dedicated to attacking Obama, regardless of truth, am I to conclude that is is because the conservatives here realize their candidate is flawed and cannot win? Based on the logic of neocon, I must.

I like the idea of a Biden VP for two reasons. 1. I’d worry less about Senator Obama’s inexperience in foreign policy matters if he were to win the race. 2. Senator Biden’s gift for gab would almost certainly result in a remark that would hinder the Obama campaign. Past or present he doesn’t keep his opinions to himself (which I actually like about him), but that could make for some painful moments in the Obama campaign.

Even if Biden doesn’t get picked, the GOP should run that in ad again and again and again.
BTW, Johnny, I give you an A for that deflection.
