Really? Show’s your absolute commitment to party over country.

    Sad actually.

So how is Obama inexperienced? Has he met, oh I don’t know, the leaders of Germany, France, Britain, Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, Palastine?

Seem to me he was warmly accepted as a peer.

Seems to me he set a fine example as a American leader. He didn’t holler out…”Yo! Blair!” He didn’t rub Merkels shoulders, he didn’t get caught trying to escape though a side door like the current President did.

I believe Obama has the judgment and experience to lead us into the future.

He certainly is not a “hot head” and keeps a relatively calm demeanor about him.

How dare you doubt his intelligence and ability to assemble a cabinet that will keep Americas best interests forefront.

I would rather have a LEADER who uses the talent available, seeks the best advice, and then uses sound judgment in making difficult decisions.

    Inexperience?

Cut the crap. You SETTLED on McCain and your putting lipstick on a pig and you know it.

If the bloggers here had their choice, I am certain the pick would not be McCain.

    And you KNOW why.

She’s nothing but lipstick on a pig.

I meant to post this sticker idea here.

Barack Obama - I voted against nuclear before I voted against oil.

  • 3. Wellington  |  August 31st, 2008 at 12:52 am

    Deleted - off topic.

  • 4. bongoman  |  August 31st, 2008 at 12:52 am

    Deleted - slander.

  • 5. bongoman  |  August 31st, 2008 at 12:54 am

Deleted - slander; any attempt to post such comments in future will result in banning.

  • 6. Kahn  |  August 31st, 2008 at 1:09 am

bongoman, errrr - I’d ban you for slander or is it libel? You have definite malice and to leave your crap intact could open Matt to legal action.

But hey, good to see you’re as big an (expletive deleted) as ever.

  • 7. Kahn  |  August 31st, 2008 at 1:15 am

“* McCain supported a major campaign-finance reform measure that bore his name. In June, he abandoned his own legislation.????????????????
    and

    * McCain gave up on his signature policy issue, campaign-finance reform, and won’t back the same provision he sponsored just a couple of years ago.???????????????”

You mean OBAMA backed away from his pledge to take public money?????

We warned McCain that your side was scum, but he was too good natured to believe us. Yah, ya got us there.

As to the oil, energy, ethanol stuff. Yah well, times change. The presure by India and China on the world marketts made oil and gas prices rise like crazy all over the world. McCain changed his mind on these issues because of this. Obama did NOT.

He supports Ted Kenn3edy’s restrictions on wind. Voted against nuclear and oil and natural gas. Now, I know he wants “alternative energy”, but just what would that be? Magic? Anti-matter? Bullsh*t?

  • 8. Kahn  |  August 31st, 2008 at 1:32 am

Obama! I’ll take your money to buy votes!

Obama! Alternative Energy means stuff that hasn’t been invented yet!

Obama! Absent or voted present on anything controversial!

Obama! More air time than Paris Hilton!

Obama! Because a slow economy is the perfect time to impose socialism!

Obama! We’re only taking away the guns that shoot bullets!

Obama! I don’t have any freakin’ idea when life begins - but sure, kill your baby if you want to!

Obama! No oil, no natural gas, no nuclear, restricted wind, second thoughts about solar, but it’s OK - he’s MAGIC!

Obama! Because campaign finance laws shouldn’t apply to the Messiah!

  • 9. jayhay  |  August 31st, 2008 at 1:37 am

    Deleted - slander.

  • 10. Kahn  |  August 31st, 2008 at 1:44 am

Sure dud. Why do you hate someone you’ve never heard of before? Its kind of well, fascist.

  • 11. kjstrouble  |  August 31st, 2008 at 1:51 am

Kahn, the trolls are being hateful because she is a real person. That is a real threat to a party that has image over substance.

  • 12. Kahn  |  August 31st, 2008 at 1:53 am

kjs, Yes. I agree. But also because THEY are actually really hateful.

  • 13. Magnum Serpentine  |  August 31st, 2008 at 1:57 am

Maybe Mark, a better bumper sticker for the republic party might read:

    “Another Day, Another Ethics probe”

    And

“The Republic party, a party in search of ethics.”

  • 14. LiberalMind  |  August 31st, 2008 at 2:28 am

    How about this for McCain

“I voted against Katrina Relief funding….

…then went and had a photo with Gustav.”

Maybe this time McCain will bring the cake with him.

  • 15. Nietzsche-Is-Pietzsche  |  August 31st, 2008 at 3:31 am

    How about this one?

McCain/Effexor ‘08 The Change You Deserve.

Oh wait….the Repugs already tried that one. Opps sorry :-D

  • 16. New Conservative  |  August 31st, 2008 at 3:56 am

What’s with all the deleted post. The dems must be really scared if their being this nasty. Go over to my site and grade McCain’s VP pick
    http://www.thenewconservatives.blogspot.com/

  • 17. bongoman  |  August 31st, 2008 at 5:05 am

The deleted posts were in relation to a rumor about Pailin that Drudge aired on his site. I won’t repeat it at the request of the site owners, but believe it is no more scurrilous than the accusations levelled against Obama here by other commenters, such as JS mentioning the Larry Sinclair accusations (IIC those comments were not deleted).

  • 18. kmg  |  August 31st, 2008 at 11:04 am

    bongoman, you do recall correctly.

    IOKIYAR.

  • 19. neocon  |  August 31st, 2008 at 11:08 am

The Dems are realizing that the Palin pick is; to use Spooks words, a walk off grand slam in the bottom of the 9th.

    And Zogby proves it:

The latest nationwide survey, begun Friday afternoon after the McCain announcement of Palin as running mate and completed mid-afternoon today, shows McCain/Palin at 47%, compared to 45% support for Obama/Biden.

  • 20. Magnum Serpentine  |  August 31st, 2008 at 11:27 am

Ahhh yes Zogby. Now what does Gallup and other neutral polls say?

  • 21. neocon  |  August 31st, 2008 at 11:38 am

ahh yes gallup, the cnn/dnc connected poll. Is tht the one your referring to sweetie?

  • 22. Kahn  |  August 31st, 2008 at 12:07 pm

Magnum, Neutral? OK. WE go for the accurate one - thanks.

But if you want to assume that you’re sitting pretty with absolutely no convention bump - then fine. Cool.

  • 23. FmrMarine  |  August 31st, 2008 at 12:35 pm

    Kahn;

The loons are spinning them selves into the ground over Palin.
What I really love is that we pubbies will most likely put a Woman in the WH before the rats could.
That is if hillary is really a woman.
    what a horrible thought!!!

    19. neocon | August 31st, 2008 at 11:08 am

Awwwwww Neokook you deserve a pat on the back….. you found the one of 3 polling agencies that had McCain leading Obama within the margin of error.
Good job now have a cookie and go take your nap.

I’ll still take comfort in the fact that I can site TWENTY-ONE polls today that say Obama STILL LEADS McCain.

As for Republicans hoping for any post convention “bounce” looks like Gustav is throwing a wet rag on that. It’s ironic you know, Fundies prayed to God for rain on a convention and He delivered…….just not in the way they expected. It’s almost enough to make me a believer. :-D

  • 25. FmrMarine  |  August 31st, 2008 at 1:32 pm

    np

    >>>Fundies prayed to God for rain on a convention >>>

PROVE that accusation or be labeled a LIAR!

  • 26. FmrMarine  |  August 31st, 2008 at 1:36 pm

    np

I believe lyrch was ahead of W in the polls at this time, and he was soundly relegated to the LOSERS column of history, by the voters.
oBOMBa will follow the same course.

  • 27. Nietzsche-Is-Pietzsche  |  August 31st, 2008 at 1:53 pm

    25. FAUXMarine | August 31st, 2008 at 1:32 pm

FauxMarine this isn’t the first time you’ve called me a LIAR and this won’t the first time that I’ve proven you an idiot. You should know better what your side is doing and putting out there.

Remember Focus on Family asking it’s followers to pray for rain on the DNC convention Speech at Mile High Stadium. Watch they’re on video if you doubt it.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohxdvio9n2Q&feature=related

Guess GAWD didn’t like being used that way.

  • 28. FmrMarine  |  August 31st, 2008 at 2:11 pm

    np

ONE GUY, as HE stated, asking for rain…….nowhere did I see focus on the family mentioned.
My self I dont think God would honor this.
and it is wrong to ask for this.

  • 29. Nietzsche-Is-Pietzsche  |  August 31st, 2008 at 2:28 pm

    FakeMarine-

Shepard is the managing editor for Focus on the Family and his program is part of their network that’s why they say …”CitizenLink is a registered trademark of Focus on the Family”. That means he can’t produce anything without their say so. OH and he did say “PRAY FOR RAIN” many times and he asked followers to join him.

  • 30. Nietzsche-Is-Pietzsche  |  August 31st, 2008 at 2:34 pm

“Now what does Gallup and other neutral polls say?”

Before his speech, the Chosen One +6. After his speech, +8.

Wow, Biden gives him a next to nothing bounce. His “speech of a lifetime” gives him 2 points. Where did the other 6 points come from? The first three nights of Clinton, maybe?

An 8 point lead after their “record breaking” convention (Gore had more and still managed to lose). Hardly, the ideal of encouragement and barely outside the ERROR ratio of the polls. So Obama and his concert gained himself very little for so much money. And you want to trust them for this county’s finances???

The Obamatons know that their ground is very shaky. Therefore, they must attack Palin and her alleged inexperience regardless how it makes their rookie candidate appear even less qualified. But then again, leftists are not logical.

  • 32. kimberly4victory  |  August 31st, 2008 at 3:56 pm

Wellington: “She’s nothing but lipstick on a pig.”

And, you are nothing but a pig on a blog.

  • 33. Danish Artist  |  September 1st, 2008 at 7:34 am

    Magnum Stupidity,

    CNN polls Obama/Biden 48 - McCain/Palin 47.

The Clinton Convention and Rock Concert did nothing for Obama.

So Zogby has your guys doing better against McCain/Palin - which do you agree with now?

  • 34. Timestar  |  September 1st, 2008 at 8:55 am

America can not afford to hear these words one more time after an American tragedy, Nice job Brownie (Palin). Republican incompetence and their installation of key public safety department leaders based on politics vs qualifications must be stopped. The 2008 election provides the opportunity.

  • 35. kimberly4victory  |  September 1st, 2008 at 9:45 am

Timestar just doesn’t have enough brain cells to understand that Blanco and Nagin were extremely inept Democratic leaders. No plan for evacuation. No call for federal assistance.

Jindal is a shining star in Louisiana! He shows Louisianans and the rest of the Nation what true leadership looks like, unlike the previous knuckleheads.

  • 36. WhatChange  |  September 1st, 2008 at 9:58 am

“How dare you doubt his intelligence and ability to assemble a cabinet that will keep Americas best interests forefront.

I would rather have a LEADER who uses the talent available, seeks the best advice, and then uses sound judgment in making difficult decisions”
    Wellington

In other words, Obama doesn’t have a clue, but there are people he can hire and delegate to. Hilarious.

John Edwards AG or Supreme Court. Janet Reno still around? Wm. Ayers? Rev. Wright?

“How dare you doubt his intelligence and ability to assemble a cabinet that will keep Americas best interests forefront”

    Really? Ha, ha.

    Actually, it’s:

IF IT WOULD MEAN MORE GAS
    I’D DRILL UP A POLAR BEAR’S ASS
    McCain/Palin 08

    This one gets my vote!!!!!!!!!

  • 38. JD  |  September 3rd, 2008 at 10:23 am

Lipstick on a Pig! McCain/Bush (PIG) + Palin (Lipstick)

  • 39. Gina  |  September 10th, 2008 at 2:48 am

Obama’s lip stick / pig remark … and, Biden’s unsavory children with special needs remarks show us what a couple of creeps these two candidates are. In lieu of Sarah Palin’s comment about hockey moms, pit bulls and lip stick, Obama’s lip stick/ pig remark was extremely demeaning. Even though I am not an Obama supporter, at least I thought he had some degree of class and sophistication. He can try to cover his tracks by saying that the lip stick remark was not directed towards Governor Palin, but anyone with half a brain knows that’s exactly what he meant. I think Obama knows his campaign is in real trouble, and that’s why he’s stooping to such desperate, insulting and distasteful attacks. Obama is definitely not Presidential material.
