    Certainly an oversight by Charlie.

“The Committee of Ways and Means is the chief tax-writing committee of the United States House of Representatives. Members of the Ways and Means Committee cannot serve on any other House Committees, though they can apply for a waiver from their party’s congressional leadership. The Committee has jurisdiction over all taxation, tariffs and other revenue-raising measures, as well as a number of other programs.”

I feel Ole Charles should resign, just as I feel that Palin should drop out of the race for VP and resign as Governor of Alaska. Ethics violations are not good no matter which party has them. Oh yes, Obama how is that Lawsuit coming? You do realize if you loose, Obama, you will be DEPORTED!!!

Come election day, everyone, please write in Hillary Clinton’s name.

The allegations against Rangel won’t matter to his constituents. Harlem has had a long history of representation by corrupt politicians. Rangel replaced Adam Clayton Powell Jr. who also had serious ethics issues.

Nevertheless, both Powell and Rangel have represented their constituents well during their terms in office, despite the corruption. I guess that’s the price they are willing to pay. Same with Jefferson down in New Orleans.

And how about Nagin in NO?

    Nagin? Incompetent for sure.
    Corrupt? I don’t know.
