Hillary Backers Come to Defense of Palin
September 9th, 2008 at 05:32pm Kevin Patrick
As the MSM and Obama campaign rachet up thye smears, Palin Power continues to grow and reach out to Hillary voters. From Politico.com:
The leaders of a women’s political organization that launched earlier this year to support Hillary Clinton are speaking out against what they say are examples of media sexism toward Sarah Palin and urging members to tell the press corps “to back off.”
WomenCount, a group co-founded by top Hillary fundraiser Susie Tompkins Buell, posted a lengthy item on their blog decrying questions over whether Palin can, as a mother of five, juggle her family responsibilities and still be vice president.
“The very notion that Sarah Palin should not have accepted this nomination because she is a mother with demanding challenges underscores just how far we have to go,” wrote Rosemary Camposano, the group’s communications director.
Each attack only makes the size of the McCain-Palin rallies grow larger.

It’s really difficult to cut your own throat. Our leftist socialists do it every 4 years. Congratulations! Thanks for responding to the swiftboat attacks so promptly this election cycle. That helped alot.

Obama is the one who is a pig. He sure wants to shore up that woman vote. HA!
Here’s a youtube of Mike Gravel, former Democrat (listen how he defends Palin in troopergate). It’s excellent!!!

I agree that the one thing that has changed since Palin was nominated is that it is no longer politically correct for the right wing to criticize women who work and have a family. The left has come to this conclusion and have been the agents for change in this regard for a long time. It is good to see that all people of both the left and the right consider working and having a family legitimate for a woman to do.
The only reason that Palin has been examined on this issue is that some on the right still cling to this way of thinking - see Dr. Laura as an example. I suspect that she is not the only one who feels this way but is one of the only ones with true convictions. Even so, like the rest of you all, I am pretty sure that you will all fall in line behind the Mc Palin cheseburger ticket. And like the kids who go to McDonalds it’ll mostly be for the toys (pork) in the bag that you hope to get. But with so many lobyists on the McCain team it should come as no supprise.

Wow…..this guy is imploding. He doesn’t look very good in the video either….looks tired, stressed, and beaten down.
I think it is amazing all the smears on Palin, all the wing tipped democrat lawyers scouring Alaska for one real sacandal, and not the lipsticking the pig comment.
Watch McCain get another 4% on the polls next week. Centrist Democrats are going to start bailing and going with a winner.

MN Libertarian,
Your support for this bunch belies your name. Try changing it to MN bacon or something more appropriate.
Now regarding the wingtipped lawyers, are you insinuating that Republicans don’t have cadres of there own overpaid barristers who have spent a great deal of time scouring Chicago for something on Obama?
Anyway, if I was a democratic lawyer I would get rid of the wing tips and put on some waders. I hear there is some good fishing in the Wasilla area. And the waders might come in real handy once they expose all of the Palin lies.

Cam,
Do you have any objective thought? And do you know who Karen Hughes is?
Is there a pull cord on the back of your neck that Axlerod has the handle too?

cam,
You’re joking, right?
“no longer politically correct for the right wing to criticize women who work and have a family. The left has come to this conclusion and have been the agents for change in this regard for a long time.”
That’s why the left and their accomplices in the MSM have been criticising Gov Palin non-stop for the past ten days for being a successful woman and mother.
“Now regarding the wingtipped lawyers, are you insinuating that Republicans don’t have cadres of there own overpaid barristers who have spent a great deal of time scouring Chicago for something on Obama?”
No, all of Senator Obama’s failings are out on the table for everyone to see. The problem is that while using illegal drugs, befriending and serving on boards with unpentant terrorists, following in the steps of a radical Marxist, “worshiping” in a church were the preacher curses America, believing that murdering unborn babies is perfectly okay up to the moment of birth, and espousing socialism/Marxism is contrary to the beliefs of the majority of Americans, the left and the MSM have no problems with him and treat him as their savior.
Maybe if Senator Obama had admitted to being a pothead and was turing into a junkie, the left would disown him. Oh, wait, he already admitted that and they still love him.
Maybe if Senator Obama was shown to have serious ethical issues such as providing a $1,200,000 earmark to his wife’s employer right after she was promoted, the left would stay at arm’s length. Crap, he already did that and the left ignored it.
Maybe if it was shown that Senator Obama had never really accomplished anything of note, neither as a “community orgainzer”, state legislator, or US Senator, the left would rethink their choice. Oh wait, just about everyone who hasn’t drunk the kool-aid sees Senator Obama as an empty shirt, but a lack of accomplishment is not a disqualifying factor to the left.
Senator Obama preaches change, while continuing the same old tired politics of pork. I find it ironic that Senator would choose to insult Gov Plain with his “lipstick on a pig” comment, when he is the king of pork and is acting like a sexist pig.
Senator Obama has been a mystery to most of America. Sure, he’s slick in front of a teleprompter. Sure, he talks about “hope” and “change”. But get him away from his carefully crafted script, and his true identity is revealed. He comes across as racist, sexist, and anti-American.
Senator Obama will go down in history as the first black presidential candidate. He will also go down in history as one of the most inexperienced candidates to ever run for that office, outside of Pat Paulson. He will also go down as being a cocky, overconfident elitist. Finally, he will go down as an inept politician and campaigner who had a legitimate shot at the Presidency but blew it because of his poor judgement, lack of integrity, and big mouth.
It’s like he has a uncontrolable urge to say things to sound cool, hip, or patriotic. (see his Selective Service registration lie) However, he keeps shooting himself in the foot. This tendancy is matched only by his running mate, who is world-renouned for his exagerations, lies, and distortions. Between the two of them, they truly epitimize the old saying: “You know how you can tell a politician is lying. Their lips are moving.”

(see his Selective Service registration lie)
Was I the only one who noticed that when asked by George Stephanopoulos if he had ever considered joining the military, Obama first said “actually, I did”, and then he proceeded to explain why, actually, he didn’t. This is like watching a balloon that has a tiny leak and keeps getting smaller and smaller and smaller and ……..poof — all gone.

barrister????
Cam are you a Vanadian perchance?? That would explain a lot.
16. cam | September 10th, 2008 at 1:11 am
neocon,
I didn’t realize that this blog was objective. Come now, it would be a blank screen if the conservative bloggers were relegated to objectivity.
A-10 I am not joking. With the pick of Palin it makes it very difficult for conservatives to criticize working mothers. It appears that a lonely Dr. Laura is willing to stand by her conservative position on this one while the rest of you follow Sarah Palin like lemmings into the mud flats of Tunagain Arm.
17. cam | September 10th, 2008 at 1:18 am
phnx,
A Vanadian? Yeah, thats it, I’m a Vanadian. What the hell is a Vanadian?………….Oh that’s right the “v” is next to the “c”. Now I get it.
Oh, and a barrister is what ………… oh never mind, you know what a barrister is.
18. Jeremiah | September 10th, 2008 at 1:31 am
No, Neocon … Cam, like all liberals objective, is themselves, and the only truth is what happens righ now. They could care less about the past, and how the truth of the past relates to the present truth, and will be the same truth for future ages to come. Although all may not come to know it, and many reject it, those who do will find strength.
As for the present second, minute, hour and day in time, we still have great division in which to overcome and all because liberals have cast off truth in pursuit of their postmodern dimwitiocy.
However, it is very promising news to see more and more people rally behind Sarah Palin. It is absolutely a miracle to Sarah Palin got the nomination, and this America’s time to heal the Nation if only they will see the truth.
Now, for a small request to my dear friend and Christian Brother, Mark Noonan…
Mark, I know there’s a lot happening in a fast way in the election cycle, but I just wondered if you might post a post regarding PostModernism and the dangers thereof?
It is something that people need to understand, as it is what is so dangerous about Obama and the liberal left, namely the Supreme Courts and our school systems.
Thanks!
See you guys tomorrow evening!

Jeremiah,
Getting all philisophical on me - I didn’t know you had it in you. Sweeeeet.
No, seriously, what the hell are you trying to say man. Spit it out. Say it clearly so a big dumb liberal like myself can understand.

obama’s mantra of change is an absolute joke. change for change’s sake is disasterous.
if i’m running in the 100 meter dash, and i change my track shoes to high heels, i’ve made a change….doubt it will help my performance.
obama’s whole platform is “i’m different from bush”. when mccain gets elected i wonder if the left will finally realize that the country doesn’t hate bush has much as they think. nah, i doubt it.
21. A-10 | September 10th, 2008 at 9:07 am
All of the gaffes and intentional insults by Senators Obama and Biden are putting the MSM on the spot.
Do they help the Donk ticket by trying to explain that Senator Obama didn’t really call Gov Palin a pig, he really didn’t call Senator McCain a stinking old fish, he really didn’t say “my Muslim faith”, he really didn’t say he registered with the Selective Service right out of high school when he actually didn’t register until over a year later, he really didn’t admit that he was a pothead and becoming a junkie? If they do, their obvious bias is exposed for all to see and the MSM can never be taken seriously again. (as if thinking American really believe what they see and hear on the news)
Or do they call Senator Obama for what he is: a do-nothing, with a paper thin resume, who is prone to sexist comments, who exhibits poor judgement, and is unfit to run for the Presidency? If they do, Democrats will never have a serious chance in a national election for decades.
22. cam | September 10th, 2008 at 7:23 pm
Bull,
I think this country has been trying to run with high heels since Bush became president. So a change from high heels to track is analogous to the Change We Can Believe In.
