Obama Attempts Jack-Booted Thuggery in Missouri (BUMPED)

September 28th, 2008 at 08:54pm Leo Pusateri

If you’re a lover of Freedom of Speech and the First Amendment, be very afraid of Barack Obama. The Obama campaign in Missouri has asked their fellow-travellers in law enforcement and attorney offices to aggressively pursue and to prosecute “…anyone who lies or runs a misleading TV ad during the presidential campaign. ” In American politics, I don’t make hyperbolic references to Stalinist or Nazi tactics, if at all. But in light of this directive from the Obama campaign, really, with what else can one compare this? Has the Obama campaign completely disregarded the First Amendment right to free political speech? Have they suddenly come up with their own Constitution?

Governor Blunt has released a statement regarding this travesty:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Saturday, September 27, 2008
Contact: Jessica Robinson, 573-751-0290
Gov. Blunt Statement on Obama Campaign’s Abusive Use of Missouri Law Enforcement

JEFFERSON CITY - Gov. Matt Blunt today issued the following statement on news reports that have exposed plans by U.S. Senator Barack Obama to use Missouri law enforcement to threaten and intimidate his critics.

“St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer, and Obama and the leader of his Missouri campaign Senator Claire McCaskill have attached the stench of police state tactics to the Obama-Biden campaign.

“What Senator Obama and his helpers are doing is scandalous beyond words, the party that claims to be the party of Thomas Jefferson is abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment.

“This abuse of the law for intimidation insults the most sacred principles and ideals of Jefferson. I can think of nothing more offensive to Jefferson’s thinking than using the power of the state to deprive Americans of their civil rights. The only conceivable purpose of Messrs. McCulloch, Obama and the others is to frighten people away from expressing themselves, to chill free and open debate, to suppress support and donations to conservative organizations targeted by this anti-civil rights, to strangle criticism of Mr. Obama, to suppress ads about his support of higher taxes, and to choke out criticism on television, radio, the Internet, blogs, e-mail and daily conversation about the election.

“Barack Obama needs to grow up. Leftist blogs and others in the press constantly say false things about me and my family. Usually, we ignore false and scurrilous accusations because the purveyors have no credibility. When necessary, we refute them. Enlisting Missouri law enforcement to intimidate people and kill free debate is reminiscent of the Sedition Acts - not a free society.”

Apparently, to the detriment of Barack Obama, Saul Alinsky left out the chapter regarding freedom of political speech in his book, “Rules for Radicals.”

UPDATE, by Matt Margolis: I couldn’t resist:

Yeah. It’s not like the Republican party ever lies the country into a war or anything.

He can’t take the heat. There has never been a less prepared, more inexperienced candidate.

While Obama was in MO trying to stifle the speech of those he opposes, McCain is back in Washington doing the peoples business.

The drudge poll shows that 68% thought McCain won the debate. And on Nov., 68% of the voters will choose to McCain to be our next President.

  • 3. yekepyt  |  September 27th, 2008 at 9:25 pm

The drudge poll! Is that how low we have to crawl before we find a positive statistic about McCain’s performance at the debate?

yek finally finds a poll he doesn’t like. Shocking.

So you’re pro-lying, then, Leo? Oh, and as for this:

In American politics, I don’t make hyperbolic references to Stalinist or Nazi tactics, if at all.

You sure about that? Here’s just one example of you making hyperbolic reference to Nazis:

I have said it often, and I’ll say it again. If the KKK, the Nazis and the Aryan Nation suddenly came to power, they could do no more damage to Black Americans than that wrought by the limousine liberal establishment over the past five decades.

Remember, kids: According to Leo, attempting to help Black people is worse than wanting to eradicate them. And that’s not at all hyperbolic!

I shake my head and wonder why the MSM, which went nuts over supposed ‘oppression’ of freedom of speech by the Bush Administration, now remains silent over such an abuse of the legal system by Obama, a supposed Constitutional expert.

These tactics are straight out of Saul Alinsky’s book on community organization, Rules for Radicals. Yes that Saul Alinsky, Obama’s idol and mentor.

Its not just a coincidence that Obama was a community organizer and lawyer for ACORN.

In a Nevada campaign stop as he was on his way to the adulation that Hollyweird was to bestow upon him later that night, Obama told his supporters to “get in the face” of people who doubt his word from on high.

“I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face.”

Alinsky argued that ‘the most effective means are whatever will achieve the desired ends, and that an intermediate end for radicals should be democracy because of its relative ease to work within to achieve other ends of social justice.’

Note that for Alinsky, and for Obama, democracy is only an intermediate end.

In other words as Karl Marx put it “any means to the end of the social ownership of the means of production is justified”

Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals was expanded by Rober Greene, in his 48 Laws of Power which are simmarized as follows. Does any of this look familiar? Its the grassroots primer for leftist political activisits:

Law 1 Never Outshine the Master
Law 2 Never put too Much Trust in Friends, Learn how to use Enemies

    hermie,

Quite obviously, harmful propaganda is only illegal when it’s perpetuated by conservatives, but harmful propaganda is the truth that needs to be expressed when it’s perpetuated by Obama Democrats. When Obama Democrats say daring and sometimes disgusting things about the opposition, they are claiming remarkable perspective on issues and incredible courage to speak out about things the public is too scared and censored to do themselves. When conservatives say similar things, they are hate-filled rednecks and warmongers with narrow-minded thoughts on an otherwise progressive position.

If this kind of liberalism is the future, then next year must be 1984.

OT…sorry, but McCain sold me last night when he exposed Obama’s insatiable desire for earmarks. There’s no disputing the fact that Obama suspended pursuing earmarks for political reasons…but come on who would buy this garb. Anyone that can’t see the difference between the two is, well…blind.

  • 17. kjstrouble  |  September 28th, 2008 at 1:29 am

Somehow I have no problem believing that Obama would want to suppress opposition speech about what who and what he is. I just hope that he does not succeed, and that some one in the MSM, or Fox News will bring this to light.

  • 18. mitt  |  September 28th, 2008 at 1:57 am

Were gonna Win, your gonna lose… I can’t wait.. Oh, and after the last 8 years, I could not care less if we lie or not. Your lot has taught us that to win elections in this country you need to play dirty and wicked. Boy is it fun to beat the Republicans at their own game. Oh, and comment all you want. Bottom line is: Were winning, your losing. America is Great!

  • 19. mitt  |  September 28th, 2008 at 2:18 am

A good example of winning at all costs is the following situation that I have recently been participating in: I know John McCain is fairly pro immigration. However I want Obama to win this election. So as luck would have it I am close to many Mexican Americans here in Las Vegas. So every chance I get, I tell them in every way possible, that McCain does not like them, wants to crush them, etc. etc. Is this true? No. But I want Obama to win and I will say what I need to. This is how modern day politics works my friends, anyone who disputes this is clueless. The GOP mastered this a couple of cycles ago. So I and others are just taking their lead. Oh, and if McCain wins, good for him, he played the game better than us. I just don’t see it happening this time.

  • 20. Observer20  |  September 28th, 2008 at 2:45 am

Well that takes the teeth out of the Swift Boater campaign! This is a matter of protecting against violations of the state’s ethics in campaigning rules!

David Axelrod is doing what the Kerry campaign should have done in 2004 the Obama Campaign is making it clear that the sirt of things that were done in 2004 by right wing 527s will be met with warrants as they should be under the MISSOURI ETHICS LAW.
The GOP in Missouri knows the best way to get rural voters to come to the polls is threaten them with the prospect that Obama is a Muslim and will riase their taxes neither of which is at all True. You so called moralists are willing to tell blatant lies to get your political candidates elected yet are so shocked when members of your churches commit crimes? The fruit rarely falls very far from the tree!

Di lojti strixiûç! [Fight the smears!]

  • 22. js  |  September 28th, 2008 at 7:31 am

but obama is a muslim…according to islam…once inducted into satans religion…you can never leave…its in the koran…

yet…if it bothers you that someone is telling the truth about obama…so much that you would use the government to persecute them for it…then…you really dont believe in america…you are no better than a saddam hussein or a stalin as far as that goes…who would just as soon as kill any opposition to thier rule…or even to mouth the words of communist maxists instead of proudly wearing a pin of the US flag on his lapel…or to honor this nation by pledging his allegiance to the same flag…because “its about change” he says…not change he can detail…but “change we need” he says…from a man who openly admits that his hero’s are marxist and believe in communism…from a man who attended a church with his family for 20 years that teaches black supremacy and black ethics and promotes the nation of islam as a worthy icon to emulate…and its leader as a hero…

we dont need that kind of change…that kind of change happened in a country about 100 years ago +/-….it was a workers revolution that created the USSR…the kind of change our fathers warned us about…

I’m glad this is a sport you can still play and this gotcha thing is all funny to you. Yeah tell all the lies you want because this time it’s going to come flying right back in your face. You have no idea how serious the credit crisis is do you?

If there’s one thing I’ve learned as a Jew about religious Christians in America, as opposed to people of faith, when things get really bad they’ll pray to any talisman, idol or tree stump for a full belly and their thirst abated. The crisis isn’t over js. What AMerica needs is leadership but if you want to play a lies and rhetoric game cool it’s on.

Communist! Socialist! Marxist! Muslim! Unpatriotic! Black Panther!
I say if someone runs an ad saying Obama is a Muslim, beats his wife, abuses his kids or wants to raise your taxes by 65% lock their lying ass up. There are laws on the books that can be followed and I am surprised a man like you js that wants to see every black kid and Chicano locked up on general principles isn’t for the rule of law! Slander in political campaigns is taken very seriously by the courts in Missouri, but that’s right you know you can’t win unless you make the black guy look evil.

Here’s a question for you js:

Which would YOU rather have a depression under a Christian president or growth and prosperity under a Muslim one?

    And here’s another:

What the heck would you know about a workers revolution as afraid as you are about losing your job and lifestyle right now?

You don’t have to answer because I know you would rather eat your own ankle than think a Muslim or a black person helped you in any tangible way. You’d see America in the hands of the Chinese your kids sold into slavery and your friends executed for owning guns first. I’m sorry I didn’t see your hand clinging to that rifle before I stepped on it.

You see it’s simple questions like that posed to idiots like you js that make my job easy. The point I make is it doesn’t matter what religion a candidate is in an election, except to bigoted morons like you. McCain has all the burned out warhawks, bigots and women who want to give him a hug for all his suffering votes sewn up. Beswt I can tell that’s 15% of the elctorate that is certain to vote. The religious right is another 20% and McCain can probabaly count on 15% to turn out there he’ll get the hardcore fiscal conservative vote which is another 10%. That’s only 40% and that has never been enough to elect a president. WHERE DOES MCCAIN GET THE OTHER DIME FROM JS? The PUMAs?

    Excellent post, Fredrick!

Why, in America, is it not possible to criticize your political opponent & his policies without having to resort to lies and distortions?

Elections take place all over the free world where only the issues are addressed and personal attacks are considered beneath contempt.

Why is it so hard for Americans to take the high road and stop treating the political process like some sleazy soap opera?

It may satisfy your need for tabloid entertainment but it sure lessens the respect for y’all in the eyes of others.

I have dialed in the level of dementia of Frederick and CO, and then of course Pain takes retarded to a whole new level. Their misconception is that conservatives and/or GOPers are all fanatically religious.

This is the shield they hide behind and of which validates their paranoia. They continue to ignorantly stereotype Americans forgetting that America is the most diverse populace on the planet. This level of ignorance is hard to combat but easily exposed and what they fail to realize is that the silent majority of Americans are of their fascist, deceitful and hateful manners.

What is also deliciously ironic is that their very support of the moveon.org candidate is what turns peoples stomachs and makes them realize that their candidate, is the wrong candidate. So I encourage people like Pain, Freddy and CO to scream from the mountaintops their undying support for Obama. It’s the best endorsement McCain could ever have.

The of course CO can’t figure out why the level of discourse has devolved, apparently forgetting the last eight years of moveon.org and the Democratic hate machine.

You gotta admit, watching these buffoons is a study in the failure of objective thought.

    Maududi
In the 20th Century, Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi defended traditional views on apostacy against the idea of freedom of religion in Islam.[28] He summarized what he saw as the most likely objections by critics:

This idea is against the freedom of conscience. How can it be right to offer an apostate the gallows when he has decided to leave Islam?
A faith which people maintain because of the fear of death cannot be genuine faith. This faith will be manifestly hypocritically chosen to deceive in order to save one’s life. (Religious hypocrisy is the ultimate sin in Islam)
If all religions approve of execution for apostasy, it will be difficult not only for Muslims to embrace another religion but also for non-Muslims to embrace Islam.
It is contradictory to say on one hand “There is no compulsion in religion (Qur’an [Qur'an 2:256])” and “Whosoever will, let him believe and whosoever will, let him disbelieve ([Qur'an 18:29])”, and on the other to threaten to punish by death who renounces Islam and moves to reject Islam.
Maududi claims that the misunderstanding and criticism arises because of a “fundamental misconception” about Islam:

If Islam is truly a “religion” in the sense that religion is understood at present, surely it would be absurd to prescribe the penalty of execution for those people who wish to leave it because of their dissatisfaction with its principles. It is not only a “religion” in the modern technical sense of that term but a complete order of life. It relates not only to the metaphysical but also to nature and everything in nature. It discourses not only on the salvation of life after death but also on the questions of prosperity, improvement and the true ordering of life before death.

    Maududi also declares:

Whatever objections the critics pose regarding the punishment of the apostate, they make them bearing in mind only a single “religion” (madhhab). In contrast, when we present our arguments to demonstrate the validity of this punishment, we have in view no mere “religion” but a state which is constructed on a religion (din) and the authority of its principles rather than on the authority of a family, clan or people.

And since it is a state, Maududi declares it “has the right to protect its own existence by declaring those acts wrong which undermine its order”, and proceeds to equate apostasy to treason. He then discusses the difference between a kafir, a dhimmi, and the appropriateness of death for them if they apostatize after conversion, and for those born of Muslim parents he states:

In any case the heart of the matter is that children born of Muslim lineage will be considered Muslims and according to Islamic law the door of apostasy will never be opened to them. If anyone of them renounces Islam, he will be as deserving of execution as the person who has renounced kufr to become a Muslim and again has chosen the way of kufr. All the jurists of Islam agree with this decision. On this topic absolutely no difference exists among the experts of shari’ah”

Advertising is regulated by the authority of the Federal Trade Commission, a United States administrative agency, to prohibit “unfair and deceptive acts or practices in commerce.”[3] While it makes laymen’s sense to assume that being deceptive is being unfair, deceptiveness in practice has been treated separately by the FTC, leaving unfairness to refer only to other types.[4] All commercial acts may be deceptive, not just advertising, but noncommercial activity such as advertising for political candidates is not subject to prosecution under the FTC Act.

    js,

    Thanks for playing.

First off the name is Schwartz and yes I am a Jew, not jew. A jew is a plant; a Jew is a person.

That taken care of we can move on to your inability to understand that you are lying by saying that Barack Obama is a Muslim and that Islam is a Satanic religion. Neither of these things are true. Your hatred for Islam stems from the fact that some radical Muslims cought your nation with its pants down one day and murdered 3 000 of your citizens. That’s a historical fact. You would likely no more care about politics in Sana’a, Beirut or Damascus if that event hadn’t taken placed that you care about the plight of the snail darter.

You said things about a religion you know nothing of and I took you to task for it. I made it personal by insulting you because I think you are stupid or at least working hard at trying to seem stupid and succeeding very well.

The newspaper I work for has a blog on that blog we cover everything and do it fairly with hard news and with bite when we offer opinions. There is a copious and unabated flow of pornography, music, food and cultural displays that is the envy of many in the MSM that has communicated with me and other members of the staff by e-mail.

From both sides of the political spectrum we have been called namews and praised for our journalism. What bothers you so much js is that you cannot tolerate having to call your leaders to task or even write anything bad about your side in the Culture War.

When Liberals in Hollywood fuck up we jump all over them. When Christian conservatives or right wing politicians step on a grenade you guys go scurrying away with your heads on fire. Britney Spears and Lindsay Lophan sell papers buddy and they send visitors to your site if you write about them. In serious times we cover the hard news forst then gove someopinion then have a little fun. Before all of those things we Fight the smears! or in the native tongue of Hell, “Di lojti strixiûç!” that your side is so quick to offer. Among the most slimy of these is the auto-polarizer that Obama is a Muslim which he is not. He is a man of deep faith and professes the religion of Protestant Christianity. He may not agree with every liottle detail of the religion but I feel his heart is in the right place. He is more of the ideal Christian than John McCain. Obama has been married once to one of the most beautiful women in America and has two adorable little girls. McCain upon seeing the outer person his first wife was had become damaged in a car accident abandoned her for years of trysts that ended in divorce and his marriage to Cindy MCCain.

How can you be a Christian and allow for divorce? I don’t get that but it’s another topic for another time. I would like to understand you js so tell me what your values are and I’ll tell you what mine are and we’ll see if Hell and the Terra can come to some sort of common ground. If not it’s just going to be more chi-chi for you because the Palin Biden debate is coming on Thursday and after that bellyacher goes down there will be no turning back and no hand of friendship and understanding extended from this non-American.

Do feel free to explain a scenario of how Sarah palin can come out of this debate looking like a person that you would want a heartbeat from the presidency. Even Noonan had sense enough to change the name of his blog.

    Give it a thought.

and tell us freddy putz…were you offended by the truth about obama’s marxist attitude…so we can document that here for you to dispute as well..

Barack Obama has a thing for Marxists. He befriends them, listens to their counsel, and he even hires them to work in his campaign. And they seem to feel the warmth. President Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua, who led a revolution there in 1979, says Barack Obama’s presidential bid is a “revolutionary” phenomenon, and Americans are “laying the foundations for a revolutionary change.” A captured computer revealed that an unknown person chatted with Marxist FARC guerillas on Obama’s behalf (they believed), stating he would be the next President and US policy towards Columbia would change. Frank Marshall Davis, a dear Obama friend and mentor was as a member of the Communist Party USA. Barack Obama just seems to attract Marxists.

    http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/04/another_obama_marxist.html

who said Davis was obama’s mentor though…OBAMA HIMSELF!!

In his biography of Barack Obama, David Mendell writes about Obama’s life as a “secret smoker” and how he “went to great lengths to conceal the habit.” But what about Obama’s secret political life? It turns out that Obama’s childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, was a communist.

In his books, Obama admits attending “socialist conferences” and coming into contact with Marxist literature. But he ridicules the charge of being a “hard-core academic Marxist,” which was made by his colorful and outspoken 2004 U.S. Senate opponent, Republican Alan Keyes.
However, through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his “poetry” and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just “Frank.”

The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What’s more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations.

Trevor Loudon, a New Zealand-based libertarian activist, researcher and blogger, noted evidence that “Frank” was Frank Marshall Davis in a posting in March of 2007.

Obama’s communist connection adds to mounting public concern about a candidate who has come out of virtually nowhere, with a brief U.S. Senate legislative record, to become the Democratic Party frontrunner for the U.S. presidency. In the latest Real Clear Politics poll average, Obama beats Republican John McCain by almost four percentage points.

AIM recently disclosed that Obama has well-documented socialist connections, which help explain why he sponsored a “Global Poverty Act” designed to send hundreds of billions of dollars of U.S. foreign aid to the rest of the world, in order to meet U.N. demands. The bill has passed the House and a Senate committee, and awaits full Senate action.

But the Communist Party connection through Davis is even more ominous. Decades ago, the CPUSA had tens of thousands of members, some of them covert agents who had penetrated the U.S. Government. It received secret subsidies from the old Soviet Union.

You won’t find any of this discussed in the David Mendell book, Obama: From Promise to Power. It is typical of the superficial biographies of Obama now on the market. Secret smoking seems to be Obama’s most controversial activity. At best, Mendell and the liberal media describe Obama as “left-leaning.”

But you will find it briefly discussed, sort of, in Obama’s own book, Dreams From My Father. He writes about “a poet named Frank,” who visited them in Hawaii, read poetry, and was full of “hard-earned knowledge” and advice. Who was Frank? Obama only says that he had “some modest notoriety once,” was “a contemporary of Richard Wright and Langston Hughes during his years in Chicago…” but was now “pushing eighty.” He writes about “Frank and his old Black Power dashiki self” giving him advice before he left for Occidental College in 1979 at the age of 18.

This “Frank” is none other than Frank Marshall Davis, the black communist writer now considered by some to be in the same category of prominence as Maya Angelou and Alice Walker. In the summer/fall 2003 issue of African American Review, James A. Miller of George Washington University reviews a book by John Edgar Tidwell, a professor at the University of Kansas, about Davis’s career, and notes, “In Davis’s case, his political commitments led him to join the American Communist Party during the middle of World War II-even though he never publicly admitted his Party membership.” Tidwell is an expert on the life and writings of Davis.

Is it possible that Obama did not know who Davis was when he wrote his book, Dreams From My Father, first published in 1995? That’s not plausible since Obama refers to him as a contemporary of Richard Wright and Langston Hughes and says he saw a book of his black poetry.

The communists knew who “Frank” was, and they know who Obama is. In fact, one academic who travels in communist circles understands the significance of the Davis-Obama relationship.

Professor Gerald Horne, a contributing editor of the Communist Party journal Political Affairs, talked about it during a speech last March at the reception of the Communist Party USA archives at the Tamiment Library at New York University. The remarks are posted online under the headline, “Rethinking the History and Future of the Communist Party.”

Why do you continue to promulgate the ignorant stereotype that all conservatives are hell bent Chrsitians? This only serves to perpetuate your reputation of dishonest stupidity.

Also, why do you continue to confuse the purity of the Word with the failings of man? Your level of ignorance is hard to describe as I have yet to encounter this even with the special needs children my sister tutors. You make them look like rocket scientists.

Do you honestly think Michelle Obama is a beautiful woman? I not only seriously question your intelligence, but now question your taste in women.

“And of men is he who takes instead frivolous discourse to lead astray from Allah’s path without knowledge, and to make it a mockery. For such is an abasing chastisement.” [Qur'an Sura 31:6 Luqman]

We, Ourselves of the Collective say these words to defend you. It is widely known in Islam both Sunni and Shi’a that the age of consent and giving of one’s Soul to Allah with the invocation of the Shahada, أشهد أن لا إله إلاَّ الله وَ أشهد أن محمد رسول الله, “There is no creator but the Creator and Mohammed is his Messenger,”is at puberty roughly the age of 12 for Human Beings. Barack Obama was ten when he left Indonesia and retuned to the United States. He was not able to profess his undeniable belief in Allah and of the message of Mohammad [qcpn]. Just as a Catholic child cannot be a true Catholic until confirmation so too a child born to Islam is an innocent until the age of consent in faith.

“The irrational religious frenzy by which Islam has become recognized worldwide is covered by a facade of civility. Yet, Muslims around the world concur that Islamic laws and principles take precedence over the decency and morality of civilization.

No matter how intellectual, civilized, or scientific Islam is made to appear, it is still a religion which embodies “another gospel.- which is not another” (Gal. 1:6-7). The Lord declares it accursed (Gal. 1:8). Christians must be prepared to present the one true Gospel of salvation to Muslims, desiring that they be delivered from their religious bondage.”

“The biggest scam in Islam, especially Shi’a Islam is perhaps the notion of “Taqqiyeh”, an immoral tactic to lie for a good cause and later retract your words. (The belief that the end justifies the means) Islam is all about schemes, war and violence.

Prophet Mohammed was an extremely violent man, a man of war. Historically, Jesus set the example for love, as did Moses. The opposite is true of Prophet Muhammad. That is why we see so many suicide bombers in our era. They simply are following what the prophet of Islam had planned for them. Islam rewards those who become martyrs with 72 virgins. So sex is what the Arab Muslim murderers die for. It is all about sex. This must tell us a lot about the prophet’s own appetite for sex. He did not spare anyone; even 9 year old girls were not immune to his sexual wrath. Worshiping a sex-maniac and a child molester? I think NOT. “

islamophobia; from an ex muslim that is ten times what barak hussein obama is….

    “Islamophobia” is ad hominem

    By Ali Sina
    2006/05/26

One friend alerted me to a discussion going on in Wikipedia on the neologism “Islamophobia”. Someone has suggested that this category should be deleted because the term Islamophobia is divisive, inflammatory and it is frequently used to inhibit very valid criticism of Islam.

This suggestion, of course, as it is to be expected, has been rejected by Muslims who have Islamized everything including Wikipedia. This friend asked my opinion. Here is what I think:

Islam is an ideology. Rejection of an ideology cannot be classified as phobia. To call the opponents of an ideology phobic is a fallacy. All ideologies have their critics and opponents but we do not hear Christians calling the critics of Christianity Christianophobe, communists calling their critics communitophobe or Hindus calling theirs hinduphobe. The term “Islamophobia” is both technically and logically incorrect and misleading.

    Liberals,

Please, correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t admitting to this form of censorship in essence jeopardize the message and scheme you’ve been carefully concocting for the past decade? That is, the vast conservative conspiracy to silence your protests, to only report from the “conservative-friendly MSM” (what a laugh) things the conservative government wants you to hear? That Democrats are the underdog in a society set against them?

These are all things that I’ve heard at least a few liberals claim over the years. By now admitting that your side is just as depraved, or more so, than the other jeopardizes your claims of validity in this field as well as potentially knocks you off message. Obama first campaigned under a politics of hope–a kind of politics that people could do away with the negatives of government campaigning, the ability to reach across the isle and connect with everyone on issues that really matter. Is censoring the other side of the issue now the way to reach them? Is this new politics simply an even crueler form of the current politics, meant to play on your hopes and dreams, highlighting the “despicable” qualities of “good old boys” campaign without recognizing that playing on these hopes and fears is even more despicable?

There has been a change in the Obama campaign in the past month. Before they thought they could hide behind their facade of the moral high ground. Now, though, it seems he and his supporters can instantly switch from riding the high horse to fighting in the mud.

Calling John McCain’s ad about sex education a disgusting distortion while applauding Obama’s mockery of McCain’s age and war injuries? Creating massive pro-Obama rallies and censoring written dissent against his beliefs? Is this new politics? Is Obama new politics? No, Obama’s just doing more of the same, and that’s what we can expect from his administration.

Okay, that’s the end of my rant. Let’s see if I stir up any backlash.

    and another communist move by obama;

    Obama Wants NRA Ads Banned

The Obama camp has been threatening television and radio stations to keep them from airing anti-Obama ads.

The latest target is the NRA and stations in Pennsylvania.

Earlier this week, the National Rifle Association’s Political Victory Fund released a series of radio and television spots to educate gun owners and sportsmen about Barack Obama’s longstanding anti-gun record. In response to the NRA-PVF ads, a clearly panicked Obama campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) are doing everything they can to hide Obama’s real record by mounting a coordinated assault on the First Amendment.

I like how none of you right-wingers can respond to my original comment.

    Sorry lefty,

You, and your juvenile posts are usually ignored. I didn’t realize you were still here. (Where’s that line from?)

I will wait until this one settles out. LIke many of the other made up scandals, this one too shall pass once the full story is known. I suspect some key points of this story have been omitted.

But if you take exceptiton to the Sedition Acts look at the biggest supporter of this most unconstitutional law. Michael Savage regularly lobies for the use of this law to arrest and jail people who speak out against the Right. Yet the best response from the Right is cheerleading for more of the same.

Nice. So you can’t read, and didn’t notice my post. Nice job refuting my argument, btw.
