Gingrich Vs Steele

Battling it out to be head of the GOP.

My pick? Steele.

To me, its a no brainer – for all his gifts, Gingrich is yesterday’s news and too tied to the GOP which just got its rear kicked on November 4th. We need fresh faces, fresh ideas and a new enthusiasm. Steele brings this to the table, and we’ll be monumentally dumb if we don’t pick him.

Yo, Newt already gave his blessings to Steele. :-)

  2. Buffoon says:

I agree with your analysis that Newt is so last decade, but if you can read the tea leaves, the left will pounce on Steele immediately and try to discredit him as a desperate attempt by the right to get their very own Obama.

As crappy as it is, I see that as being the likely attack, I can even see them in my bino’s taking up firing positions as we speak…

Steele could fend them off by throwing it right back at them, as only he could do, Newt couldn’t…

I think their should be more time spent pulling in the third party right wingers as well…. many (including myself) are currently adrift looking for the Reagan/Thompson Oasis…

But what do I know, I’m an idiot…

  3. kimberly4victory says:

Then I shall call BS on them. Steele has been around a lot longer than BO.

  4. Steven W. says:

IMO Steele is the perfect face + persona and a personal fav of mine for some years now. Newt has the experience + ideas (and there are new ones). You’re right – not only is Mr. Newt old face … he’s a thoroughly demonized one. His best role would be behind the scenes, plotting the battles.

Steele was my LtGov, and he should’ve become my senator. Alas, I live in the PR of MD, home of the loony left, so you knnow how that goes.

Steele would be a good choice as RNC Chair; however, he’s no rock-ribbed conservative. Better than whoever’s running it right now…

    Obama Holiday?
Some are already considering to have a holiday in Obama’s honor. I would agree and therefore I call on individuals as well as small and large business owners of America, generating more than 250,000 in revenue, to have a national holiday in honor of Obama.
On January 20th, inauguration day, you can thank him for his planned tax increase by laying off one of your employees. I can’t suggest that you lay off the most ardent Obama supporter on your staff, as a reward for their voting for higher taxes on you, but certainly that could be one of the subjective criteria you use to cut expenses to pay for the coming tax hike.
You gotta cut someone, why not those responsible. Confused as to who supports Obama, then check the bumper stickers in your parking lot.

    LOL

It could ONLY be a …straight, WHITE male.
All others are a protected “minority”.

A lay off would subject to you being charged with ….racism, homophobia, xenophobia, hate crimes, crimes against humanity, and in violation of big bro’s new world order.

Newt should be the person to go out and recruit new candidates for the House and Senate.

This is a no-brainer. Steele is the right guy to lead the GOP. Steele is good on TV, can raise money, and has the right organizational skills for the job. Newt’s unpopularity got him run out of D.C. after 4 years as Speaker. He is good at political tactics. But his off the wall comments, mess of a personal life, and arrogant attitute are just too much. Steele can make him a consultant or something like that. Keep him in the background.
