Suicide of Europe Watch, Part 2

by Mark Noonan on January 2nd, 2009 at 03:16pm

Geesh:

Update: The French press reported that the Interior Ministry released a final “verified” count of 1,147 vehicles burned in France over New Year’s Eve. The number is up 30.64% from last year’s total, 878.

REUTERS - At least 445 cars were torched over the night of New Year’s Eve in France, a 20 percent rise on last year, but there were relatively few clashes with police, the Interior Ministry and police said on Thursday.

Car burnings are regular occurrences in France but the registering the New Year’s Eve total has become something of a tradition since they achieved symbolic status in the violent rioting that shook many of the country’s poor suburbs in 2005.

With riots in Athens heightening worries that the economic crisis might spark a resurgence of the violence seen in the run-down “banlieues” then, 35,000 police were mobilised on New Year’s Eve, some 7,000 more than last year.

Officials were also on guard against possible attacks after five sticks of dynamite were left in a Paris department store just before Christmas by a so-far unidentified group demanding a withdrawal of French troops from Afghanistan.

A more than 30% increase - and please note in the news report that its “poor suburbs” and “unidentified group” which is demanding France get out of Afghanistan. That the poor suburbs in question are heavily Moslem and controlled by Islamists and that only Islamists would want France out of Afghanistan shows just how bad its got - Europe is dying by self inflicted wounds, and they won’t even tell the truth to themselves about what is going on.

Question for France: When will you surrender to these Islamists? You have a record of loosing and being occupied.

  2. ricorun says:

You have a record of loosing and being occupied.

Where’s the spelling police when you need them? Lol!

  3. fernandothecatholicking says:

I live in Spain and I´m constantly seeing how european politicians talk about “being friends with everyone”, embracing everyones´culture.

So if you love your country, or dislike how a muslim priest is yelling “holy war to the infidel” next door, in Europe, you would be a fascist.

´Cause thats what the left in Europe does. For them and the media (just like in the US) there is no such thing as moderates and conservatives.

Here in Spain radical muslims are getting in control. The government gives them what they want, fearing they might bomb us (more like fearing they will lose the elections).

  4. Mark Noonan says:

    Fernando,

And you have to hate the very memory of Ferdinand the Catholic…and Isabella, and Charles V, and St. Louis IX, and Don Juan of Austria, and Richard Coeur-de-lion, and Constantine XI, and Urban II, and Raymond IV, and Frederick I…because they were Christians who fought Moslems, and that is bad.

  5. bozo says:

Mmmmm, love that French Citroën brûlée. When they burn their cars, they give off the slightest hint of vanilla and Grand Marnier.

BTW, when I’d misbehave. those nuns at Our Mother of Sorrows sure gave me a Catholicking.

  6. atheistmule says:

I lived in Europe for many years. The way I see it, Europe hit its bottom 60 years ago, in WWII. Sadly, they’ve failed to rise out of it.

Yes, they’ve increased economic strength, and have moved past fascism and Communism, but the culture is in a state of shock about the second world war. They discuss it like it only ended yesterday. I’m not entirely sure how, but I’m pretty sure that this affects their attitude towards terrorism.

  7. kjstrouble1 says:

Actually, what seems to be the problem with Europe is they have moved away from the basic morals and Christian beliefs that they once held sacred. Now, the liberal ethos of what ever feels good is good, and all religions are right (even when they conflict with each other) and God is not really relevant, seems to be the idea. It would be nice if they would settle on one idea, but all of the ones they are pushing are guaranteed (sp?) to lead to their downfall.

  8. 1luv2h8lib5 says:

You know, if it weren’t for Bush and his world occupation, these disenfranchised youth in France wouldn’t be burning all those cars. We need to get out of every country, including our own, legalize all illegals, put flowers in our hair, and toss Frisbees in the park. Then the world would like us.

    ///sarcasm off///

    at Mark Noonan:

    (dont take this personally)

The black legend of Spain has struck again, and you are the last victim.

    1) The Catholic Kings did not participate in any crusade other than reconquer the old Visigoth Kingdom of “Hispania”. THEIR FIGHT WAS POLITICAL NOT RELIGIOUS.

    2) The Catholic Kings, and Emperor Charles I of Spain (V of Germany) DID let the last remaining muslims stay in Spain, even Felipe II let them stay. It wasnt until 1609 that Felipe III decided to throw the last of them out because they were causing a social conflict.

    3) Spain started war against the Ottoman Empire because they were fostering piracy and doing it themselves in the Mediterranean. Allied cities and territories in Italy joined Spain, while Portugal decided to give in and search for an alternate route to China, India, etc.

As I stated above, dont take it personally, its not your fault, its “The Black Legend” that Dutch, Brits and French guys created, and that Americans (God bless you) have been fooled with.

  10. tiredoflibbs says:

Liberals here have the same views as liberal socialist politicians in Europe.

    Massive socialism
Appeasement of Muslims in anything they want

    ….to name a few.

In spite of what is happening in Europe, liberals refuse to learn from history and the present.

  11. 1luv2h8lib5 says:

In spite of what is happening in Europe, liberals refuse to learn from history and the present.

Libs, tired, don’t care about anything except power. They’ve got it now, through the dumbed-down people who’ve elected them. History begins for these losers on the 19th. They think the messiah is gonna rescue them with this big bailout, ending all wars, blah, blah, blah. Earbama ain’t gonna do squat but work on his reelection. Look at who he’s surrounding himself with. This ain’t change; it’s the same old lib crap from the 1960’s. The “Great” Society. Where did that get us? It got us Carter in 1976, and Carter II in 2008.

We’re in for a rough ride. But fear not, libs–if it all goes south, you can always fall back on your time-tested rhetoric–”It’s all Bush’s fault!”

  12. dejahthoris says:

    11. 1luv2h8lib5 | January 3rd, 2009 at 10:20 am

What was wrong with the Great Society? Had Johnson not been politically strapped to Vietnam because to the Cold War the Great Society would have been the next New Deal. Forty years have passed and that New New Deal is still needed.

What Bush did and those around him did is his fault. Is it not worse now than it was during the Clinton years?

  13. Mark Noonan says:

    fernando,

You misunderstand - I know the true history of Spain, and it is glorious. Most of what Americans know of Spain is actually just rehashed British war propaganda from the 17th and 18th centuries.

  14. atheistmule says:

“In spite of what is happening in Europe, liberals refuse to learn from history and the present.”

Britain, 1899. Fifty years ago, it was a glorious country with no end in sight. Now, in 1899, it is still the most powerful country in the world, but it feels as if its throne is tottering. It lost a war a few decades ago, but the memories of it are fresh. However, there is a recent surge of Conservative nationalism. Britain feels it needs to rehash the Boer conflict. It eagerly goes into war, believing that the Boers can easily be defeated. They are wrong. the war gets messy. Victory comes in the end, but it has lost the respect and admiration of many allies. But still, Britain was necessary. Whenever a crisis happened somewhere, the world would look to London and ask for help. However, Britain asserted itself too agressively, trying to fix problematic areas where it was not wanted. The real problem in Britain, however, lay not in its government, but in its society. IT EXPERIENCED A MORAL REVOLUTION, ONE THAT BROUGHT IT AWAY FROM THE REASON-BASED, INDUSTRIAL SOCIETY OF THE 1850′S, AND MORE TOWARDS ONE DOMINATED BY EVANGELISM AND EXCESSIVE MORALISM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Sound familiar?

  15. fernandothecatholicking says:

    At Mark Noonan,

My apologies then :) . As I said before, its not personal. I actually agree with 99% of what you write. Would you care to explain to me what you meant?? (I mean, maybe it was sarcasm and I didnt get it).

P.S.: I chose “fernando the catholic king” (Ferdinand the Catholic King) because my name is actually Fernando, I´m catholic and I wish I were King (hehehe). I didnt intend a pun.

  16. tiredoflibbs says:

    atheistass,

    WTF?
    Sound familiar?

    No.

    But you useless post?
    Yes!

  17. atheistmule says:

Tired, it is conservatives like yourself who wish to maku a society dominated by evangelism and excessive ‘morallism.’

  18. tiredoflibbs says:

    atheistass,

Aaaaah, the “conservatives want a theocracy” talking point again.

Get a life. Wanting to keep morals in society is now the establishment of a theocracy? Meanwhile, the libs want to end any reference in society and culture of any religious morals and replace it with “if it feels good and if it does not physically harm anyone then it is okay”.

Define “excessive morallism” - other than the scripted talking point.

  19. fernandothecatholicking says:

ok, this is a very un-christian thing to say but,

the good thing about atheists is that they end up suiciding cause they cant live accordingly. Just look at Nietzsche, died crazy.

  20. tiredoflibbs says:

Also, atheistass, the Muslims are now trying to incorporate Shia law into parts of Europe and your stance is?

I have not heard you rally against that the way you do Christianity. The liberals do not seem concerned about that aspect, since they are bending over backwards not to offend one single Muslim. In public institutions of higher learning, many are installing foot-baths and offering religiously accepted foods. How does this not break the establishment clause you libs so vigorously (and erroneously) enforce? Public funds and institutions are being used for religious aspects.

You will probably not answer this beyond the liberal talking point mantra.

  21. fmrmarine says:

    Tired……

Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components. The religious component is a beard for

all of the other components. Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges.

When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges,

some of the other components tend to creep in as well.

    Here’s how it works.

As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most part be

regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in:

    United States — Muslim 0.6%

    Australia — Muslim 1.5%

    Canada — Muslim 1.9%

    China — Muslim 1.8%

    Italy — Muslim 1.5%

    Norway — Muslim 1.8%

At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major

recruiting from the jails and among street gangs. This is happening in:

    Denmark — Muslim 2%

    Germany — Muslim 3.7%

    United Kingdom — Muslim 2.7%

    Spain — Muslim 4%

    Thailand — Muslim 4.6%

From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. For example,

they will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs

for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves — along with threats

for failure to comply. This is occurring in:

    France — Muslim 8%

    Philippines — Muslim 5%

    Sweden — Muslim 5%

    Switzerland — Muslim 4.3%

    The Netherlands — Muslim 5.5%

    Trinidad &Tobago — Muslim 5.8%

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves (within their ghettos)

under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islamists is to establish Sharia law over the entire world.

When Muslims approach 10% of the population, they tend to increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about

their conditions. In Paris , we are already seeing car-burnings. Any non-Muslim action offends Islam, and results in

uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam , with opposition to Mohammed cartoons and films about Islam. Such

tensions are seen daily, particularly in Muslim sections, in:

    Guyana — Muslim 10%

    India — Muslim 13.4%

    Israel — Muslim 16%

    Kenya — Muslim 10%

    Russia — Muslim 15%

After reaching 20%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings,

and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues, such as in:

    Ethiopia — Muslim 32.8%

At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare, such as in:

    Bosnia — Muslim 40%

    Chad — Muslim 53.1%

    Lebanon — Muslim 59.7%

From 60%, nations experience unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions

(including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon,

and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels, such as in:

    Albania — Muslim 70%

    Malaysia — Muslim 60.4%

    Qatar — Muslim 77.5%

    Sudan — Muslim 70%

After 80%, expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some State-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide,

as these nations drive out the infidels, and move toward 100% Muslim, such as has been experienced and

in some ways is on-going in:

    Bangladesh — Muslim 83%

    Egypt — Muslim 90%

    Gaza — Muslim 98.7%

    Indonesia — Muslim 86.1%

    Iran — Muslim 98%

    Iraq — Muslim 97%

    Jordan — Muslim 92%

    Morocco — Muslim 98.7%

    Pakistan — Muslim 97%

    Palestine — Muslim 99%

    Syria — Muslim 90%

    Tajikistan — Muslim 90%

    Turkey — Muslim 99.8%

United Arab Emirates — Muslim 96%

100% will usher in the peace of ‘Dar-es-Salaam’ — the Islamic House of Peace. Here there’s supposed to be

peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrasses are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word, such as in:

    Afghanistan — Muslim 100%

    Saudi Arabia — Muslim 100%

    Somalia — Muslim 100%

    Yemen — Muslim 100%

Unfortunately, peace is never achieved, as in these 100% states the most radical Muslims intimidate and spew

hatred, and satisfy their blood lust by killing less radical Muslims, for a variety of reasons.

‘Before I was nine I had learned the basic canon of Arab life. It was me against my brother; me and my brother

against our father; my family against my cousins and the clan; the clan against the tribe; the tribe against the

world, and all of us against the infidel– Leon Uris, ‘The Haj’

It is important to understand that in some countries, with well under 100% Muslim populations, such as France ,

the minority Muslim populations live in ghettos, within which they are 100% Muslim, and within which they

live by Sharia Law. The national police do not even enter these ghettos. There are no national courts,

nor schools, nor non-Muslim religious facilities. In such situations, Muslims do not integrate into the community

at large. The children attend madrasses. They learn only the Koran. To even associate with an infidel is a crime

punishable with death. Therefore, in some areas of certain nations, Muslim Imams and extremists exercise

more power than the national average would indicate.

Today’s 1.5 billion Muslims make up 22% of the world’s population. But their birth rates dwarf the birth

rates of Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, and all other believers. Muslims will exceed 50% of the

world’s population by the end of this century.

Adapted from Dr. Peter Hammond’s book: Slavery, Terrorism and Islam:

The Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat!

This is scary. This book is some serious reading for serious thinkers.

Now that you know, what will you do with this knowledge?

  22. fernandothecatholicking says:

    at fmrmarine,

great post!! I really liked that explanation

  23. atheistmule says:

Fmr, you left out the country of Indonesia. Not surprising, actually, since it doesn’t comply with your facts. It has 206 million people, 86.1% of which are Muslim. They have no conflicts, internal or external, occuring at the moment. They are a leader in persecution of Al Qaeda militants. There is no sharia law - though many still don traditional outfits - and they are, in fact, a Republic.

“they will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs”

And Jews push for Kosher. They haven’t been blowing up to many people lately.

There is no tax on infidels in Albania, Qatar and Sudan.

The United Arab Emirates is only 75% Islam, being it is quite diverse, and has fgreedom of religion. it is a center of business. It has no sharia, no persecution of non-believers.

You try to connect Islam with the chaos in many of these countries. This is impossible to do. One of the biggest reasons that there is trouble in these countries is because they are geographically shitty. It is desert. Not to mention the fact that imperialism dominated the area until the beginning of last century, and infrastructure has been slow to fill in the imperial gap.

  24. fmrmarine says:
