Soon, all conservatives, most independents, and some democrats will also be scratching their heads and wondering why they voted for the most unprepared President in history.

Question is, can we survive until 2010? When conservatives will take the gavel away from Pelosi, beat her over the head with it, and begin to apply the brakes to this stupidity.

To all the young voters who swooned for this Anti Christ…..good luck you got what you asked for….and it aint pretty!

fmrmarine, I’ve been having much the same thought. I have a sister-in-law, a sister, a brother, a daughter (and their respective spouses) plus my 88-year-old mother who all voted for Obama. None of them are what I would consider Liberals in the contemporary sense. All of them who were eligible at the time voted for Reagan. None could give me a concrete reason why they pulled the lever for Obi-One except “hope and change”, and, I suspect, more than a shred of white guilt, and the fact that just about anyone would be an improvement over George W. Bush. Well, I certainly “hope” they (and the rest of us) survive the “change”. I love them all dearly, but I can’t help but feel that, in truth, they deserve whatever happens. It’s going to be painful to see people I love come to the realization that they made one of the biggest unforced errors of their lives.

I understand your Obama-hatred started last summer and has only gotten worse since election day and really to a head by the inauguration.
But man… 42 days into the Obama Administration and you are calling it a complete and utter failure.

You folks are true Americans in giving the new President a chance to get things going.

Let me say to you what you people said to Democrats the last 8 years…… Man, it must really suck being a Republican right now. Everything Democrats do really just ticks you off to no end.

You have 1344 more days until election day 2012. So you have time to actually come up with ideas instead of just blasting everything the Obama Administration does and says.

You people are going to have ulcers by then.

nah, we just need to come up with a catchy “american idol” type slogan. that’s what you guys did. no new ideas after blasting everything the bush administration did. just need a slogan and a pop culture attitude.

“Soon?” Most of them have already repudiated their vote for Bush.

    only in your dreams, moron

    joe,

The Obamateur has managed to suck every bit of confidence out of Wall Street with his doom and gloom speeches and anti-business legislation. He is sinking in the mud before he has a chance to get out of the starting gate.

hope and change? Hardly, fear and business as usual. No wonder people are scratching their heads in confusion and amazement. The Obamateur pulled the old bait and switch.

joe, please quit projecting Lib hyper-emotionality onto conservatives. Hatred is such a waste of time and energy, but it seems to be addictive to a certain pathology, as witnessed by silly old orlando still wiggling and wallowing in his little puddle of Bush-hatred. No one HATES Obama, you silly boy—we just think he is wrong. And so deeply, profoundly, and arrogantly wrong that he is dangerous.

bull, you give the current crop of Libs too much credit, for inventing the catchy slogans that caught the gullible and sucked them right into Obamania. Obama took the slogans right out of the Bible for Libs, the tried and true
Rules for Radicals, written by his hero, Saul Alinksy.

Alinsky advised radicals to just keep preaching “hope” and “change” and the gullible and mindless would be sucked in. Obama did, and they were.

I don’t talk politics in general, but when the lady at the drycleaners asked where I was going to wear my nice suit I told her I was going to a convention of political conservatives.
She kind of made a face, and I figured I had stepped on a Lib toe, but then she said that she and her husband were Democrats, always had been, and had voted for Obama, and were already realizing they had made a big mistake. And she was glad for a chance to talk about it, and she did.

This was not a really political woman, not anyone who reads political stuff or participates in blogs. But even with her limited access to information (she admitted she just watches TV news, though not much of it) she is seeing the disasterous direction Obama is pushing the country, and she is deeply concerned.

She and her husband may be the only ones—but I doubt it. When I have told friends about her, they have all said they have run into the same doubts, the same concerns, and the same voters’ remorse. It’s seething under the surface, and it may bubble up sooner than the Dems expect. Actually, I think they are so power-drunk and arrogant they don’t realize it is there—all they see is Rush Limbaugh. And when it surfaces, I am sure there will be all sorts of accusations and denials of the truth, which is that you CAN’T fool all of the people ALL of the time.

    please quit projecting

    Do you see it?

Here, let me give you another hint:

No one HATES Obama, you silly boy—we just think he is wrong. And so deeply, profoundly, and arrogantly wrong that he is dangerous.

Of course, I never hated Bush, silly little girl. I just thought he was so deeply, profoundly wrong that he was dangerous. I was proven right. You can’t wrap your head around it, hence posts like the above.

    So…do you see it?

  10. amazona says:

orlando, you have never been proven right. You have your silly little obsessions and your silly little psuedo-theories, and you trot them out expecting us to be impressed, but trust me—you have never even come close to right.

And your BDS is rampant in your incessant whining and bitching about Bush, while we address the issues of Obama and his policies. I know you can’t see the difference, but we can.

You remind me of a saying—I will clean it up a little for the blog: If you never take your head out of your, uh, nether regions, your view never changes. Your view is consistently and unchangingly reflective of what you see up there, and it will never change because you seem to be so enamored of your own, ah, product.

  11. orlando says:

You have your silly little obsessions and your silly little psuedo-theories

Speaking of which, how’s life in the Birth Certificate Brigade? Any news to report?

Keep up the good work! And by “work,” I mean “projection.”

  12. amazona says:

orlando, you do seem committed to making mindless banality your life’s work, don’t you?

But about that elusive birth certificate—do YOU have any news on that front? Can we expect to see an actual birth certificate any time soon? Any new theories about why it is preferable to spend a million dollars to avoid producing one, instead of paying $12.50 to get a copy? Any new theories on where a Senator could put his hands on more than $800,000 to pay lawyers to make sure he never has to produce one?

I’ve never made accusations on the birth certificate issue, just voiced some questions. I notice that you, and your fellow travellers, have studiously avoided answering any of them. But as YOU brought up the subject, maybe you have some news to share.

  13. orlando says:

maybe you have some news to share

There’s this. I’m not sure if it’s really news, though, as it’s just yet another failure for the Birth Certificate Brigade, complete with a well-deserved mocking from the judge:

Robertson ordered plaintiff’s attorney John Hemenway of Colorado Springs, Colo., to show why he hasn’t violated court rules barring frivolous and harassing cases and shouldn’t have to pay Obama’s attorney, Bob Bauer, for his time arguing that the case should be thrown out.

You share the plaintiff’s silly obsession with the silly pseudo-theory…perhaps you can explain why the plaintiff hasn’t violated court rules barring frivolous and harassing cases. I’d love to see you take a shot at it.
