the irony is that he was being totally respectful to her and she in turn became disrespectful to him.
do male senators ask to be called senator? or is “sir” just fine to them?
i’d love for boxer to say that to a constituent. i’d tell her, “you work for me lady, not the other way around”
what a f’ing joke she is.
Even more disturbing is that I bet that a good chunk of Congress Critters, both Democrat and GOP, think this way, that they “earned” their title, almost like something a king or queen would bestow on them, as I wrote in a post this am.
Wouldn’t it have been great if the Brig. General would have responded with, “Ma’am, I don’t have any respect for you to call you Senator. You should be thankful I am calling you ma’am”!
Boxhead doesn’t respect the military; her SF Board of Supervisors would do away with the military if they could. I wonder how she’d vote on such a measure.

Boxer showed either ignorance of military protocol or disdain for it—either is possible, given her arrogant self-congratulatory air and goofball radical rhetoric.
The general showed such class in merely acceding to her smirky arrogant demand, while she came across as a strident shrew.
