When there is an argument for a position, that argument is made.

When there isn’t, then an array of fallback positions is dragged out, and in the case of the RRL it is always irrelevant personal attacks.

The argument for the position of the thread is that while overall approval of Obama is still high, though falling, approval ratings for his individual actions and policies are not so good. The Liberal “response” to this seems to be “So what, polls don’t mean anything, and your momma wears Army boots.”

Yet another triumph for the innate superiority of the Liberal approach to intelligent political discourse.

I do not appreciate your “Since I am soon to be banned from this site …” b.s. just because you didn’t take few seconds to discover that obama’s approval ratings in various polls have been addressed before on this blog, doesn’t mean you’d be banned.

Just because you are wrong, doesn’t mean you’d be banned… we have a bunch of liberals commenting here, openly and freely, that have done so for months and years. get over yourself. if you don’t appreciate the open forum here, then you can leave at anytime.

What intrigues me is the disconnect between Obama’s personal approval rating, which is in the 60s, and the approval of his policies, which is tanking. I think this shows the personality factor. When people can say, as so many have, “I don’t like what he is doing but I think he is doing a good job” it is clear that there is some other factor at work, and it has to be the charisma that has always allowed him to skirt criticism of his actions.

Way late on this, amazona, but, I think the dynamic is that people are divorcing the personal from the politics. Even from the Conservative side, I doubt many hate or even dislike Obama personally. I don’t. I have no idea what kind of person he actually is, except through reports by others, so, were I polled, I’d probably give him OK marks for that. Not going to personally trash someone I do not know.

But, his policies, ah, that is a different story. Interestingly, you see high marks from Democrats in polls, then, when they get on the ‘net, talk radio, etc, they are PO’d about the policies, what he is doing, what he isn’t, etc.

Interestingly, I do not remember polls while Bush was president that separated the two very often. And, Conservatives gave him low policy marks because of the out of control spending, etc. Been down that road.

Arcitc Fox save yourself and leave these miserable dodgers to their morality meetings and right wing revivals. it will come to nothing because in the end they will just die off be forgotten like all things and leave nothing but questions for the historians. And we all know the victors write history.

Don’t worry CO. Just like their solutions to the Iran problem, the righties have no idea how to actually carry out their plans for impeachment.

Dictator Obama should be impeached. He has broken the law and the Constitution. The USA was made great b/c of capitalism. The free markets work. The Marxist Kenyan piece of crap should be impeached and then hung for treason right along side his corrupt DEM admin. All Czars of Liars, Traitors, and Corruption.
