Just to clarify, I don’t want anyone to die. Well, at least not quickly. Well, unless lingering in pain would be terrible, then you might want to die quickly. But, then again, we’re mostly Christians over here, so we’re cool with uniting our suffering with those of Christ on the Cross, so it might be good to live for a while, even in pain. Anyways, I don’t want you to die. No, not you, either. Look, seriously, I’m ok with people not dying. I can even say I’m 100% in favor of everyone continuing to walk around…
Thank you.

Grayson is accusing Conservatives of the government-run liberal program, which will indeed cut short the last few years the elderly have left, and we don’t want that, because they are witness to our heritage, and they inspire us to get up in the morning and be proud to be Americans, proud to be alive, and most of all, that we have a loving Creator whom we can count on to see us through.
gabby,
Any chance you have a cold?
A confusing post. Seems like sarcasm, but not. And if someone gets sick without enough insurance, it implies you’ll come to their rescue. Maybe?
I’m trying my own solution to this healthcare thing in November. I need two dental implants, which here in the states costs around two grand each. American Airlines will fly me RT to Delhi for $900 where implants are $800 per. This will save me fifteen hundred bucks, and I get to see Delhi. They have a process called NobelDirect that takes an hour or two for a procedure that used to span months.
It’s a shame that I won’t be spending my money here in America, but I’d be stupid not to do it this way.
Thoughts?
soybean,
Is the trip to Delhi $900 just one-way? Or out and back?
Let’s see, that’d be $1700 for the whole thing, and you say it will save you $1500…
So you say they want $3200 here for two teeth? One, two?
Oh, you mean, a set of false teeth, uppers and lowers. I see. I thought you meant just two teeth. lol.
Yeah, if you can go to Delhi and do both plates for $2,500 you better go for it.
Grayson apologized to dead people. Wonder what he is smoking.
Soybean: Insurance companies are flying people to other countries for many procedures b/c it is cheaper. But you have to make sure that sterile conditions are your first concern. It would be foolish to end up getting an infection which could cost you a hospital stay when you got back. Good luck on whatever you decide.
It’s a shame that I won’t be spending my money here in America, but I’d be stupid not to do it this way.

Yeah, why don’t you stay there. Take gabby/bloch/pain with you.
This congresscritter did one of those speeches on the House floor, to an audience of two or three, and it was on (DN)C-Span.
So, when’s Congress gonna discipline this kook, ala Joe Wilson?
Oh wait, he’s a Donkaroach. Never mind…
Why doesn’t the IIC put some of that jet fuel money towards health care reform, instead of flying AF1 to Copenhagen to lobby for Chicago getting the Olympics?
Hey, this congresscritter who claims the GOP wants sick people to “Die Quickly?” What about the lefts national health care program, which wants sick people to die waiting?
I wonder what type of insurance/health care plans are available in India for natives? Could it be that competition has lowered costs there? Or just the exchange rate?
I suspect if we had real competition for our business, the insurance rates and health care costs would go down. As it is, government regulations cover the costs because the insurance companies use Medicare cost/payment tables for regular insurance.
Mark: I can even say I’m 100% in favor of everyone continuing to walk around…
Well, not forever, apparently. Lol!
Seriously though, it brings up an interesting dilemma… Apparently you don’t think much of prolonging life through diet, or through artificial means like taking something like resveratrol. Then again, I don’t suspect you have much of a problem with diabetics preserving their lives through diet or through artificial means like taking insulin. Am I right? If so, what’s the difference?
foamed-up wingnuts = hit the nail on the head.
