To Nevada Republicans, especially, but to all Republicans who are crowing loud today – Don’t get too confident.

A bit off-topic, perhaps, but I’m actually very familiar with Searchlight, NV. My best friend, who is, unfortunately, now dead, used to moor his boat in Candlewood Cove on Lake Mojave there in Searchlight. It’s definitely off the beaten path, but because it is it was a great place to get away from it all. We had some great times in that cove and on that lake.
Most of the dwellings in Searchlight are manufactured homes (the fancy name for trailers). But coming up the hill from the cove, one place stood out as very incongrous. It was huge! I’m not sure it was Reid’s, but if I were a betting man, that’s where I’d put my money.
Incidently, the casino in Searchlight is the first casino I ever walked out of with more money than I walked in. It was only about 50 bucks, but hey.
Uh… “Candlewood Cove” should read “Cottonwood Cove”.
ricorun,
Well, that’s not exactly in Searchlight…but I get your meaning.
Pretty good. It’s important to remember that you won’t just be running against Reid (especially in the primary), you’ll also be running for yourself.
