Is There an Obama Nominee Who Doesn’t Have Tax Problems?

Geesh – you’d think by now they’d vet a bit for this:

I previously blogged the tax problems of Lael Brainard, President Obama’s nominee to be Undersecretary of the Treasury for International Affairs. The tax problems are (1) twelve late payments of real estate and personal property taxes, and late payment of unemployment taxes; (2) failure to timely file employment eligibility verification forms for her household help; and (3) failure to substantiate home office deductions. Senate Finance Committee Chair Max Baucus today annnounced that he would support the nomination and that the committee would soon vote on the nomination.

But, then again, if the Democrats are just going to keep approving the nominees in spite of incompetence and criminal activity, I guess it doesn’t matter – Obama should nominate a murderer, just to see how far he can go. The rest of us would like to know if there’s a limit to what Democrats will put up with…

Hey great idea…..how about OJ for prison czar? he meets all the requirements for zer0’s admin.

  2. neocon1 says:

I mean think of the publicity…we could have OJ running through cell blocks, ducking and weaving, jumping over obstacles..
we could even have a rodney king type beatdown shown 10,000 times an hour on cnn followed by an obligatory riot or two, then a declared martial law.

    WOW……lets get on it…RON!!

  3. Well, Obama did nominate wacky and well outside the mainstream judge David Hamilton for the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.

I think you’d be surprised at just what the party of “ends-justifies-the-means” will tolerate. I did have my issues (as most here did) with Bush, but, contrary to our Leftist trolls, he DID do some things right, and the 90% decrease in scandal and dishonesty in the Executive Branch was certainly a breath of fresh air compared to der Schleikmeister.

Tax problems is the least of our worries. Its the biggots and socialists and marxists and commie worshipers that we should address. The people who believe that America and the freedom it represents is evil are being flaunted by the Obummer adiminstration as czars and paraded as an insult to free people everywhere.

Asking him to nominate someone with the ethical standards that he promised during the campaign is like asking him to take a leadership position on an issue in any part of his life.

tired, don’t you think that BHOzo’s near total lack of leadership skills is what the moneyed interests behind his ascension to power found to be his most attractive attribute? It’s becoming painfully clear that he’s being controlled by one or more individuals behind the curtain. Our resident Lefties here have been defending his “deep thinking” and analytical skills ever since his emergence at the 2004 Democrat Convention. At this point, only the most brain-dead, koolaid-drunk sycophant would defend this guy as anything but a pliable and compliant tool of the far Left.

i would favor a change in the electoral system to stop politicians from misleading voters about what they intend to do…any person who makes an election commitment that she/he will do (something) and then turns around and does the exact opposite (failing to represent those who elected her/him) is not fit to take office in the first place…the men who ran for that office should be able to challenge those libtards and charge them with breach of contract…and remove them from the position…and force a new election barring the liar…
