Barack Obama’s presidential job approval rating is 47% in the latest Gallup Poll Daily tracking update, a new low for his administration to date. His approval rating has been below 50% for much of the time since mid-November, but briefly rose to 52% last week after he announced his new Afghanistan policy.
Any slight bump in support Obama received coincident with his new Afghanistan policy proved to be very short-lived, as his approval rating returned to below the majority level by the weekend, and slipped further to 47% in Dec. 4-6 polling.

When you get elected on superficial characteristics, you can’t be surprised when they wear thin. And Barry’s charm was largely a media construct, media and his handlers. We were inundated with video of people weeping with emotion at his rallies, people constantly fainting because of the intense emotion of just BEING IN HIS PRESENCE, and of course the fawning reports telling us how charismatic he was, what a brilliant orator he was, blahblahblahblahblah.
And he won by lying, by convincing the nation (or at least about half of it) that he was a moderate Democrat, intending to govern from the center.
Combine the disillusionment of the voter as Obama’s lies about his radical Leftist agenda are revealed with the inevitable burnout as his persona becomes increasingly annoying, and you have a plummeting poll rating.
No matter how or why 53% of the nation voted for him, they wanted a leader, a president, a commander in chief, a man of conviction and principle. And they got Barry Obama.
It’s a good thing that according to you a few years ago, a 27% approval rating was enough to bull through whatever policies one wants.
but frenchy, the polls supported some of those policies. It was only modern liberal ideology that kept them from getting out of committee or cloture.
Unlike today where the polls are not supporting the policies.
Try to keep up.
The following is one reason why Obama is on the skids:
CNSNews.com) – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) endorsed the idea of a “global” tax on stock trades and other financial transactions, saying the estimated $150 billion in annual revenue from such a tax could be used to help fund more stimulus spending.
Pelosi is absolutely the dumbest bitch every to occupy the House and democrats made her the Speaker, and Obama entrusted her to write the health care bill. People with that kind of judgement should be banned from having anything to do with the governance of this country.
Cluster, I agree with you about Pelosi. Scary that she is 2 heartbeats away from the presidency. Problem is twofold. First, Obama was a media creation. His whole life, and appeal as a candidate was, and has been built on a lie; and second Obama is so inexperienced, and so over his head, that he has to outsource everything to Pelosi and Reid. That really makes for a bad combination. 48% still seems high to me. The only way that you could still support how he is doing his job, is if you are hard left, or not paying attention.
Ah, yes, yet another effort to influence us by pointing out that PEOPLE FROM OTHER COUNTRIES don’t like conservatives. Such a shallow and foolish effort, yet so typical of the RRL mindset.
Frenchy the phony is just another feeble effort to try to make us care what other countries supposedly think. His pathetic effort to establish equivalency only serves to show that the RRL is simply incapable of processing information. The comment is so goofy and stupid, it can only come from yet another RRL shill. “Enough to bull through???” Utterly stupid. Utterly, utterly, stupid.
We know that to the kneepad community, Oblahblah’s approval will never diminish. To them, the adoring faithful, he will always be The One We Have All Been Waiting For. They swoon, they weep, they have tingles running up their legs, and they worship him in every possible way. Clearly, nothing in the real world will ever have an impact on their devotion.
And no one cares about them.
But the rest of America is realizing it has been scammed, and is getting pretty ticked off about it. Without the efforts of the Complicit Agenda Media to cover up the real ugly truths about the Obama regime, the outcry would be far louder and the poll numbers far lower. The only reason these numbers are as high as they are is because the Complicit Agenda Media have been so successful in ignoring the various radical agendas of the various radical czars Obama has put in place to implement his own various radical agendas. The only reason Barry’s numbers are not totally in the toilet is that there is not one single true journalist out there in network news with the integrity to address the massive power grab of the Executive Branch, as it has written itself a huge blank check via the so-called “stimulus package”, established a large cadre of powerful communists and socialists in high positions in the government, appointed an Attorney General who blatantly gives a pass to the New Black Panthers for voter intimidation, funded the largest criminal enterprise in the country which just so happens to specialize in voter fraud, and most recently did an end run around Congress by simply having another Executive Branch agency DECLARE that it now has the power to regulate whatever it wants to, regarding whatever it chooses to define as a “warming gas”.
One week of actual journalism, one week of actual REPORTING, and Barry’s numbers would make Bush’s look like gold.
