This is “justice” under Obama:
The Justice Department has told the federal attorneys who filed a civil complaint against the New Black Panther Party for disrupting a Philadelphia polling place last year not to cooperate with an investigation of the incident by the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.
The commission last week subpoenaed at least two Justice Department lawyers and sought documents from the department to explain why the complaint was dismissed just as a federal judge was about to punish the New Black Panther Party and three of its members for intimidating voters.
Why do they do this? Because when a leftist says “community organizer” he doesn’t mean someone like Obama but, actually, someone like these Panthers who intimidated voters. A well organized community, for the left, is a community which votes the right way – and no better way to ensure the “correct” vote than to put bully boys out in front of the polling place to scare away anyone who might want to vote the wrong way. The left has never allowed a fair vote unless it absolutely had to – because the other side had enough force on its side to keep things fair. Absent proper counter-force, the left will cheat at election time in a grand manner as as a matter of course.
The Department of Justice is supposed to act as the counter-force to those who would attempt to hijack or intimidate the vote. They are supposed to on the look out for thugs at polling places and scams to stuff ballot boxes. Unfortunately, Justice has often been absent, especially in liberal areas of the country…and now, under Holder, Justice might be nowhere to be found. In the end, in order to protect our right to vote, we might have to post patriots at every polling place in sufficient force to intimidate the intimidators.
It’d be better if we could avoid this – but I don’t hold out much hope that Obama’s Justice Department will be at all interested in doing the right thing.

AG Holder got a lot of media attention back in May when he refused to do anything about this incident. I sent the DOJ an email. They say on their web site they answer emails in order as they get them. My email was sent on May 29th and I asked Holder/DOJ that “if guys in white sheets and hoods showed up at polling places in the next election that they could do so without fear of prosection”? I have yet to get an answer.
Holder is just another pathetic excuse who does not abide by the rule of law.

The Panthers, then and now are anarcho-Socialists, they are an always have been of the far Left just as the Klan and the Neo Nazi movement in the US have always been of the far Right.The KKK voted Democratic because that was the party in opposition to the freeing of the slaves and the party in opposition to the “war of Northern aggression.” You being from Buffalo, NY know that there is just as much racial prejudice in the North as the South and just as many people who think that blacks and Latinos have “stolen” something from “real America.” This will be a topic of great study in universities in the United States in the middle of this century I hope because there are many questions that need to be answered and matters of race in America that need to be resolved before 2100.

So, because people who were not white men were mistreated up until 1968 at the voting booths, it is ok that people who are white men to be mistreated now?
It was a crime then and it is a crime now. It does not matter what the ‘ethnic’ background of the people are. Standing in front of a polling station with weapons is wrong. To me, it does not matter what the ethnic background or political stance, anyone that tries to intimidate people from exercising their right to vote is wrong and needs to be prosecuted.
I do agree with you that there has been more voter intimidation from conservatives than liberals.

Without the conservatives in 1960’s Civil Rights legislation would not have passed becuse of Democrats like Albright, Gore and others voted against that legislation.

The Democratic Party was founded by a group of racist whites for monetary purposes and the fact they WANTED and NEEDED slavery. You can not rewrite facts! It was this same Democratic Party who founded the KKK!

Let’s see, as an example (one of many) Obamateur has used and is using fear to get his “health care reform” in order to control the people and 1/7 of the economic power behind that industry. The Democrats, who again you feel are “progressive” have taken control of numerous banks, insurance companies, auto manufacturers and are looking to control more.
Public schools are trying to teach more useless crap than it should be. Children can barely read, write and speak properly. That is why other countries’ children are surpassing us in education and the workplace. They don’t have the “benefits” of a “progressive” education.
Apparently, you don’t realize that you should be conservative if you are truly for Liberty and Freedom.
