Sen. Whitehouse: We’re Going to Make You Eat Those Words

Click here to get Caucus of Corruption: The Truth About The New Democratic Majority by Matt Margolis and Mark Noonan.

From the supposed party of tolerance:

They are desperate to break this president. They have ardent supporters who are nearly hysterical at the very election of President Barack Obama. The birthers, the fanatics, the people running around in right-wing militia and Aryan support groups, it is unbearable to them that President Barack Obama should exist. That is one powerful reason. It is not the only one.

We won’t forget – and we’ve taken enough insults from liberals. 2012 is not such a long way off and I’m sure we’re going to do everything we can to get intolerant, un-American cretins like Whitehouse out of office.

UPDATE: Let what is going to happen to Sen. Dorgan (D-ND) next year be an indicator of what we will do to all of those who have betrayed American principles.

UPDATE II: Reid defends ObamaCare bribes.

    Mark,

Are you saying that there are no birthers, fanatics, and racists applauding the GOP’s efforts to kill the health care bill? Really?

  2. neocon1 says:

The founder of the website “Free Republic”, Jim Robinson, has joined a growing boycott of the CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) due to a homosexual activist group sponsoring the event.

GOProud, a group that advocates same-sex “marriage,” a repeal of the military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy, and “expanding access to domestic partner benefits” for homosexuals, is listed as a sponsor of the event at CPAC’s website.

Mr. Robinson has joined a number of conservative activists including Liberty University Chancellor Jerry Falwell, Jr., Liberty Counsel founder and chairman Mat Staver, and Gary Glenn, president of the American Family Association of Michigan in their efforts.

On a reply to an article about the boycott, Mr. Robinson stated “I’ll join that boycott. If CPAC is no longer for conservative family values then I want nothing to do with them. They’ll have to change their name to HOMOPAC.”

  4. tfmo says:

Ugh. Welcome back to the “Hitler loved dogs” argument.

KMG, I’m sure there are a LOT of people who are against HOPERcare. In fact, in the latest polling, more Americans are against it than are for it. You, and this dipstick from Rhode Island, are trying to claim that ALL people who are against this are racists etc, and that ALL members of the GOP and the Conservatives are as well.

Yes, there are lunatics who consider themselves Republican and/or Conservative. It doesn’t mean that they actually adhere to Republican or Conservative ideology. We’re not all birthers; and just to point something out to you, if Obama had been up-front about his birth certificate, this movement would have died. It’s to his BENEFIT that he says nothing about his birth certificate because it promotes an easy target. “Oh, oh! Look at those crazy birthers! They’re all on the Right! All the Rightwingers must be crazy too!”

And a call against racism from the left means about as much as a call against anti-semitism from a Nazi. Jim Crow, the KKK, and a dozen other groups and instances of racism derive from the LEFT. Even on the issue of slavery; you vilify the GOP while forgetting that the Republican Party started in the Civil War era for the purpose of ENDING SLAVERY. You forget that it was DEMOCRATS who filibustered to keep segregation. You forget that it was a DEMOCRAT who went after the Little Rock Nine.

And as I have already written on the subject, allow me to excerpt from my site:

We don’t put up with the whack-jobs in our midst. The hardcore Birthers, the lunatic conspiracy extremists, the people who will shoot you if you so much as look at their house…these are the crazy uncles we try to keep confined to the attic, for the safety of others as well as himself. We don’t heed Weird Uncle Bob’s warnings of alien invasions and mystical cabals; we let him have all the tinfoil he wants to make his hats and we try to keep him on his medication.

And the stark difference between Conservatives and Liberals is that Liberals keep running their Weird Uncle Bob for office. They don’t keep him on his meds; he’s down in the living room, screaming at the coffee table and scaring the kids. He’s in the kitchen, trying to bake a dictionary. And worse, he’s been put in charge of the family’s finances and home security.

    I disagree.

  11. tiredoflibbs says:

sounds like Whitehouse was hanging out at the pitchfork. Whitehouse hit every leftist talking point.

He like all the others cannot stand the fact that we disagree with Obamateur and his reckless policies. Of course, these are the same people who said dissent is the highest form of patriotism. But of course, in their intellectual dishonesty, that does not apply now.

  12. carol says:

“Many right wing pundits got into bed with a lot of those groups and there are numnerous more who espouse conservative values plus hate. there has been very little distancing by notable conservatives from the birther movement here or anywhere else. Some on the right have encouraged the bigotry even though they are not bigots themselves for their own selfish reasons.

Whitehouse will be President one day possibly 2016.”

God love ya, Sadie, you sure are funny.

Your comment is the same as saying that because the Dem President Obama only knows how to borrow and spend other people’s money hand over fist that all Democrats have trouble with finances and are heading their household to the poor house and know nothing about how to properly manage their finances.

If you have any kind of an education it’s clear you flunked critical thinking and understanding English concepts like sweeping generalizations, black or white thinking and citing sources when you “debate”.

  13. carol says:

“I think passage of this health care reform bill will move many on the right to physical violence. That will a sad day for America.”

Pure projection. If there is any violence it will come from the far left who feels Obama has betrayed them by not following through on his campaign promises. If you don’t already, read the lefty blogs-you hear far more anger and hatred from them than from any conservative out there.

With this understood, the Soviet Union appears the greatest megamurderer of all, apparently killing near 61,000,000 people. Stalin himself is responsible for almost 43,000,000 of these. Most of the deaths, perhaps around 39,000,000 are due to lethal forced labor in gulag and transit thereto. Communist China up to 1987, but mainly from 1949 through the cultural revolution, which alone may have seen over 1,000,000 murdered, is the second worst megamurderer. Then there are the lesser megamurderers, such as North Korea and Tito’s Yugoslavia.

Obviously the population that is available to kill will make a big difference in the total democide, and thus the annual percentage rate of democide is revealing. By far, the most deadly of all communist countries and, indeed, in this century by far, has been Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge. Pol Pot and his crew likely killed some 2,000,000 Cambodians from April 1975 through December 1978 out of a population of around 7,000,000. This is an annual rate of over 8 percent of the population murdered, or odds of an average Cambodian surviving Pol Pot’s rule of slightly over just over 2 to 1.

In sum the communist probably have murdered something like 110,000,000, or near two-thirds of all those killed by all governments, quasi-governments, and guerrillas from 1900 to 1987. Of course, the world total itself it shocking. It is several times the 38,000,000 battle-dead that have been killed in all this century’s international and domestic wars. Yet the probable number of murders by the Soviet Union alone–one communist country– well surpasses this cost of war. And those murders of communist China almost equal it.

That is not a statement that ALL GOP supporters fit in those groups. It is a factual statement that SOME of the GOP supporters do. In order for you to consider that statement to be slander, you have to have a really poor understanding of the English language or you are just looking for another faux outrage.

Jesus answered and said to them:

“Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, “I am the Christ,” and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass,

but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

All these are the beginning of sorrows.
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.(Matthew, 24: 3-14)

  30. neocon1 says:

Hmmm sounds like a certain political party in America

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:

For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! (2Timothy, 3: 1-5)

But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. (Matthew, 24: 37-39)

    (Casper) I disagree.

One of the few times I have been in agreement with you, Casper. As was pointed out in a previous thread, the Tea Party movement, mostly made up of Conservatives and Libertarians, has seen no violence. The 9/12 march on D.C. was one of the most peaceful demonstrations ever in that city, as well as one of the cleanest.

What’s going to foster violence is when this whole house of cards comes tumbling down, and the people who are used to riding in the wagon are suddenly left to fend for themselves.

  32. uffy says:

How much more violent do you want it then a corrupt Democratic Congress shoving a health care bill down everyone’s throat? Do the American communists really think they can take on 100 million registered gun owners? The left bloc wear black b/c it is the symbolic color of Hitler’s SS goons. No matter what is happening in the world we see the left bloc in action creating violent demonstrations. It wasn’t a Conservative who shot Harvey Milk anymore than it was a Conservative who shot JFK. It wasn’t Conservatives who hung blacks. It wasn’t Conservatives who created the KKK. It wasn’t crazy right wingers who blocked doorways at schools so black children couldn’t attend. It wasn’t some crazed right winger who was the Grand Dragon of the KKK who sits as a Democratic Senator.
It isn’t crazed right wingers who started an organization for women too dumb to use birth control or say NO.
It wasn’t some Conservative President who sent his goons into the streets of towns and cities to beat up people who didn’t agree with him. It was a Progressive known as W. Wilson who spent his most thrilling moments watching the torture of suffragettes.
If you want a walk through history, most of the violence against the citizenry was committed and still is by the Democrats. It wasn’t a Conservative who nuked 2 cities. And it wasn’t a Conservative who promised to end the war and bring the troops home. That was that miserable piece of crap who lives in the White House now. A liar, a thug, antiAmerican, and a bottom feeder.

  33. neocon1 says:

    Uffy

It wasnt conservatives who murdered 80 some women and children at Waco, It wasnt conservatives who used FBI snipers to murder women and children at Ruby Ridge, It wasnt conservatives who ripped little Elian Gonzales out of relative’s hands with auto toting, n\jack booted thugs to return him to a communist concentration camp. It wasnt conservatives who got B.J.’s by an intern his daughters age, committed perjury, was impeached, disbarred, fined. It wasnt a conservative who smoked crack cocain in the back of a limo while receiving homosexual sex.

the list for these cretins could go on and on.

  34. kmg1 says:

    Pot/kettle moment.

  40. cluster says:

Well, that certainly is breaking news sadie. I am sure it will grab the nations attention.
Yesterday, the meek piehole, that is Harry Reid, said on the Senate Floor, that two people die every ten minutes from lack of health care coverage (could this be construed as a scare tactic?), so that means that by 2014, when this plan is implemented, over 420,000 will have died.
I would like one liberal to tell us all what one specific part of the health plan is their favorite.

  41. kmg1 says:

    cluster,

Some parts of the plan will be implemented immediately, such as eliminating pre-existing conditions for children.

As to my favorite part, it is the public option. I don’t know if it will survive in any form after conference, though.

  42. cluster says:

    kmg1,

And please tell us then what amount of taxes will be you be paying for that public option, and what exactly that public option covers. These are two important things I am unclear on and thankfully I have you to inform me.

As far as the children, I believe that is already in the SCHIP bill.

  43. cluster says:

    kmg1,

So I am guessing that you are unsure as to exactly how much this plan will cost you, and exactly what it will cover, right? Why then are you so supportive of it? Unlike you, I want to know the details before I buy into something. What has happened to everyones financial analytical skills?

  44. uffy says:

That silly Coburn. If only he would have said “die and die quickly.” Oh well, I guess we will have to wait for Air America or Kos and Huff or John Kerry to ask for more assassinations.

  45. neocon1 says:

so far so good…seems to be working.
    now for tomorrow…………

  46. kmg1 says:

    cluster,

Sorry I couldn’t play with you today, but some of us work during the day. I don’t expect to pay any more in taxes. My household income does not exceed $250K and I don’t use indoor tanning salons, so I won’t get hit with the Boehner Tax. As far as what the public option would cover, that would be for the HHS Secretary to determine. Again, I don’t think it will survive conference.

Children whose family’s income exceeds certain limits are not covered by SCHIP. They have to rely on private insurance.
