Michelle Bachmann’s Headache

David French explains what is nauseating about the allegations:

…I don’t use the word cowardice lightly.  Here we have former aides who say they’re “terrified” by her condition.  They even deliberately chose to say that she’s “incapacitated” for days at a time and made vague accusations about pill use.  Yet they can’t even muster up the courage to identify themselves?  If the stakes really are so high, surely their patriotism would compel them to come forward so that we can ask some questions, weigh their credibility, and discern whether they had enough access to the candidate to know what she’s endured.  By remaining anonymous we can’t cross-examine them (so to speak) and discover the truth.

Then there’s the evidence.  Or lack thereof.  Anonymous aides expressed terror at her condition, yet if you read the entire article you’ll find that she allegedly missed a grand total of one planned campaign event . . . in 2010.  A second lurid tale concerns a migraine so bad that she merely “managed to attend several events in California, including an appearance before a California chapter of the Eagle Forum and a fundraiser in Palm Springs.”  Oh, but she was “in pain throughout.”  Nice to know…

Anonymous sources do have their proper place – but, in my view, only when corroborated by other hard evidence.  In other words, if you discovered a prescription for migraine medication made out to Bachmann and then went and asked her aides and one of them, not for attribution, confirmed that she suffers from migraines, then you’d have story.  What we’ve got here, however, is just one anonymous denunciation – that isn’t a story; that is a slander.

But the MSM doesn’t really care – Obama and Co are worried sick about Bachmann and so they are giving her the Palin treatment.  Doesn’t matter what it is, just throw it at her…bury her in muck hoping that enough of it will stick, even if false, to incapacitate her as a candidate.  “Smear” will be the mildest description of what Obama’s goons will do to each and every Republican who in any way, shape or form poses a threat to Obama’s re-election effort.

There is nothing we can do to stop them – but we can start going all West on the liberals.  French is a bit sorry for having used the word “coward” – he shouldn’t be.  It was a deceitful, underhanded and cowardly attack…the work of the most disgusting sort of blackguard.  The man who launched it deserves to be whipped.  Hit them back and hit them back hard – ask them again and again and again just why they are so disgusting.  Make their slanders an issue:  that is the way to fight back.

And, meanwhile, just keep up the conservative/libertarian drumbeat.  Let the Democrats alternate between making attacks and answering our charges of skullduggery.  We’ll concentrate on telling the American people what we want to do.  The path to victory is paved with two stones – a stoned labelled “vision” and another labelled “fight”.  Press the vision, keep up the fight…and then we’ll win.

Just as he said he would, despite the best attempts of the Obama thugs to stop him, Larry Sinclair has published his book about his 1999 sex and drug encounter with Barack Obama. Larry also reveals his conversations with Donald Young, the gay choir director that was murdered. Larry shipped the first book on Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Buy a copy of the book for yourself and a friend. If you want to know more about Larry Sinclair, his efforts to get the story to the public and the Obama thugs attacks on Sinclair,

Communist Party USA Reveals: We’re Using the Democrat Party
      associatedcontent.com ^ | December 3, 2010 |

Not too awful long ago I wrote about the Communist Party USA and their support for many of the identical principles endorsed by the Democrat Party here in the US. I listed the various similarities but now I have some even more honest words from the Communists themselves. Joe Sims, co-editor of the Communist Party USA online magazine Peoples World states among other things “the possibility that the communists may be able to “capture’ the Democratic Party entirely.” Read that slowly and carefully…”the possibility that the communists may be able to “capture’ the Democratic Party entirely.”

Joe Sims is a proud little Commie. He goes on to brag that among other things, “heightened class and democratic struggle…all have combined to produce an unprecedented situation – and opportunity.” How long have I been railing on against this Democrat Party effort to frame the current political debate as one of class? Clearly even the ones seeking to wage this struggle freely admit that is their effort and how said effort is an “opportunity” for them?

They are seeking to destroy this nation and they are using Democrats to wage class warfare, pitting imaginary groups of haves against equally imaginary underclasses. The US has no class structure at all…never has. Monarchies had them. Europe had them. China had them. India had them, but the US NEVER had them. NEVER! For anyone over 40 or so, does this sound like a good thing? Do ya remember the old time Communists?

Communism is responsible for more human misery than the Nazi’s ever hoped to cause and by one big, huge, massive, overwhelming, undeniable margin. Even blaming Hitler for every death in WWII in wartime Europe, the Communists, since the October Revolution in 1917, makes Hitler look like a minor schoolyard bully.

This is a far more serious matter than you give credit. Migraines can be so incapacitating that a President may need to surrender power to the Vice President. While I do not know of any former President of the united States who has suffered from this malady I am sure that such a condition must be considered by anyone who calls themselves an informed voter. Medical conditions, when placed at the level of the Executive branch of government are magnified one million fold. This condition, which Bachmann admits she takes medication for, is more than just a “headache” for her campaign.

When did class warfare become acceptable? It really is a game for the envious and incompetent. One thing liberals don’t understand is that the “rich” is not a static group. Many middle class people become rich through hard work or luck and many rich people lose that status through bad luck, or laziness. Secondly, not all rich people are evil. many are well intentioned and use their money to influence an outcome they feel will better many peoples lives.

I get the feeling that if someone like casper were in charge, there would be a ceiling as to how much wealth someone could have. Because anything beyond that, just creates animosity and distrust with the all-knowing compassionate liberals. I guess they would prefer that the government has that wealth, because as liberals will tell us, the government is the better steward for social justice. You can’t leave that to just ordinary people

      1. MontyBurns

Do you think it’s possible for class warfare to be waged from the top down, cluster, or is it only “class warfare” when it’s poor people criticizing rich people?

      2. Amazona

“I don’t hate the rich. I just don’t like the fact that they control the country.”

But Casper seems to have no problem with the “poor” controlling the country, with people who pay no taxes gaining a majority and being able to vote for taking even more money from those who do.

He seems quite happy with the idea of the Left controlling the country, defending them at every opportunity and mindlessly attacking what he seems to think of as the Right.

I do not agree that any one group really controls the country, but if one did, why shouldn’t it be the group that has proved a grasp of economics and a history of success? The Caspers seem to prefer a a Ruling Class that has never been employed in the private sector, never created a job, and is either an “intellectual” or someone who makes so little money he doesn’t even have to pay taxes.

Or five of nine unelected people with the power to overturn the will of the people to accommodate political agendas.

“But Casper seems to have no problem with the “poor” controlling the country, with people who pay no taxes gaining a majority and being able to vote for taking even more money from those who do.”

I don’t believe I ever said I wanted the poor to control the country. They should however, have the same rights, opportunities and responsibilities that everyone else has. As for people who pay no taxes, I wouldn’t know anyone like that. Everyone pays some kind of taxes, whether it be sales tax, property tax, income tax etc.

“He seems quite happy with the idea of the Left controlling the country, defending them at every opportunity and mindlessly attacking what he seems to think of as the Right.”

I’ve never said I want the left to control the country. And pointing out problems with various ideas isn’t mindlessly attacking.

“I do not agree that any one group really controls the country, but if one did, why shouldn’t it be the group that has proved a grasp of economics and a history of success?”

But that would eliminate the Republican party. Sorry, I think you should be involved in our country’s government also.

“The Caspers seem to prefer a a Ruling Class that has never been employed in the private sector, never created a job, and is either an “intellectual” or someone who makes so little money he doesn’t even have to pay taxes.”

Again I never said that. In fact I would prefer that we didn’t have any kind of ruling class.

“Or five of nine unelected people with the power to overturn the will of the people to accommodate political agendas.”

Guess that means you don’t like our court system.

“Gee, Cappy, who would YOU want to “control the country”?”

How about everybody? It’s called democracy and I hear it’s a pretty good idea.

Mark, do you have more than just your opinion? Obama is worried sick about Bachmann? Really? Why on earth would Obama be worried sick about Bachmann – unless he is worried she will not be the GOP presidential candidate.

It apprears that most of the “smear” has come from Bachmann’s own camp. I have read that she has a difficult time keeping a staff. Her health is a ligitmate concern for those who are thinking of supporting her and those who would consider voting for her. Those who would vote for Bachmann would never be an Obama voter so I do not see why Obama is worried sick about Bachmann’s health or anything else regarding her run for president. I believe the other GOP candidates have more concerns abut her candidacy than President Obama will ever have.

One more question, exactly who are the Obama goons? Is that his secrect army that will eventually sneak into your homes and take your guns in the middle of the night or round up white Americans and move them into concentration camps as predicted by Beck? He is doing a pretty good job of keeping his goons under wraps for now.

Talk about scare tactics – the conservatives are the BEST at that kind of propraganda.

When a country works reasonably well—when the schools teach algebra and not governmentally mandated Appropriate Values, when the police are scarce and courteous, when government is remote and minds its business and works more for the benefit of the country than for looters and special interests, then pledging to it a degree of allegiance isn’t foolish. Decades back America was such a country, imperfect as all countries are, but good enough to cherish.

As decline begins, and government becomes oppressive, self-righteous, and ruthless yet incompetent, as official spying flourishes, as corruption sets in hard, and institutions rot, it is time to disengage

Seems to me this is a veiled attempt to get men to think twice about voting for a woman. Portray her as being imbalanced on occasion, difficult to communicate with on occasion, having aches and pains on occasion…..it’s sexist, but men just might have second thoughts. You women have to know that most men have a belief in the back of their minds that there are a couple days every month when women are a bit less under control and these attacks are there to try to remind them.
