One down, 49 to go:
ACORN, the liberal group notorious for allegedly trying to inflate voter rolls through fraudulent practices, has seen its last election in Ohio.
The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now will permanently surrender its Ohio business license by June1 as part of a legal settlement with the conservative Buckeye Institute for Public Policy Solutions, both sides said yesterday.
ACORN was active in Ohio in the 2006 and 2008 elections, working to register thousands of low-income people to vote and get them to the polls. The group’s efforts were marred by irregularities, including one case in which ACORN workers allegedly induced a Cleveland man to register to vote 72 times, offering cigarettes as an incentive.
Keep your eyes peeled for some sort of successor organization. These fraudsters aren’t about to give up. We’ll have to pursue them and their attempts to subvert America relentlessly.
Of course, a good effort in this would be to get the ACORN-in-Chief out of office in 2012.
Yeah, no kidding:
The high-profile lawyer hired to investigate ACORN has found no pattern of intentional illegal conduct in the community organizing group — a finding that was dismissed as “damage control” by one of the two filmmakers who, posing as a pimp and prostitute, videotaped staffers offering advice on how to operate a brothel.
One wonders why they even bothered….but, then again, liberals will believe it and sure as night follows day, we’ll eventually get liberal comments saying that ACORN has been investigated and cleared…
Here it is in PDF – a quote:
Dear Attorney General Holder,
As you are aware, the Commission on Civil Rights investigates, among other things, complaints alleging that citizens are being deprived of their right to vote by reason of their race, color, religion, sex, age, disability and national origin, or by reason of fraudulent practices. Referred to as the “conscience of the nation,” the Commission and its individual members have historically stood against systemic efforts to corrupt the electoral process and disfranchise qualified voters…
…In November 2008, several commissioners wrote to your predecessor, Attorney General Michael Mukasey, urging him to launch a nationwide investigation into ACORN’s practices in the face of widespread evidence that it has engaged in filing possibly hundreds of thousands of fraudulent voter registration applications in some fourteen states – in invidious invitation for corruption in our electoral process…
…We respectfully urge the Department of Justice to undertake such a full-fledged, nationwide investigation of ACORN, including an assessment of whether ACORN’s conduct violates various applicable federal statutes, and to conduct its work with all deliberate speed. The integrity of our electoral system demands no less.
Ok, liberals; commence explaining this away. Also, we wonder how long before Obama manages to get a new Commission appointed? Certainly can’t have a Commission which asks for this sort of thing – next thing you know, people might start demanding that only citizens vote…and they only vote once! What would Democrats do if that came to pass?
Of course – Bush isn’t President any more. Code Pink: Just another propaganda arm of the left.
In the matter of ACORN, and other things:
Evidence continues to accumulate from far and wide that the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now is lousy with corruption. The latest revelations come from Louisiana and Oklahoma. In the former, the local ACORN Housing Corp. office received contracts worth a combined $625,000 from the City of New Orleans for repairing existing low-income housing and developing new units in poor neighborhoods. The contracts were paid for with funds from federal Community Development Block Grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. An investigation by the Pelican Institute think tank of New Orleans, however, found that no work was actually performed to fulfill the contracts…
…Meanwhile, in Oklahoma City, documents found in a recently vacated ACORN office included a detailed memo titled “Power Plan” for a five-year effort to elect supportive legislators and transform Oklahoma to a progressive state “in the way it was 100 years ago.” The man in charge of the office left town without paying back rent or utility bills, according to OklahmaWatchdog.org. Also found in the documents was a script for a Houston ACORN-directed recruiting campaign for “hiring Outreach Workers to remind people to get out and vote for Barack Obama in the upcoming election.” As a tax-exempt nonprofit, ACORN is barred from participating in partisan election activities…
A Congress which had any respect for law; any sense of morality; any understanding that they government only with our consent would be on this issue with furious resolution. But, of course, our Congress is mostly silent on it – likely because they know that very large numbers of prominent Democrats and associated leftists are hip deep in ACORN. Start a real investigation, and a lot of people are going to go to jail…and it will be very hard to find a Republican or a conservative among the guilty (though I’m sure the Democrats, if pressed to it, would dig up at least one…so they can call it a “bi-partisan” scandal).
What we have to watch out for are Democrat attempts to white wash the issue – cut off some funding, hold a couple friendly hearings, throw one or two ACORN-ites to the wolves and call the issue solved. But ACORN is just the tip of the iceberg – this sort of corruption we’ve seen is endemic on the Democrat side of the aisle. Corrupted by money – and now by money and power – the Democrat left has succumbed to an amorality in government not seen since “robber barons” bought and sold legislators in the 19th century.
We have to really hammer this stuff – because until we do, Democrat rank-and-file people will just continue to put up with it. To this point, no Democrat has ever been forced to resign due to corruption, in and of itself. All the few resignations which have happened have all been the result of party bigwigs forcing out a man who might lose an election…as long as your seat isn’t at risk, Democrats simply will not call you to account. Contrast this with how fast we bounced Foley once it was discovered he had written some dirty e mails. Neither side is innocent: but only one side has been held to account.
For the sake of our country – and, even, for the sake of the Democrat party – we need to hold the left responsible for the rampant corruption. This Congress won’t do it – perhaps the next one will.
Hmmm…
Did ACORN chicanery elect Al Franken? That’s the import of this tactfully phrased Minneapolis Star Tribune column.** Franken won by 312 votes. ACORN claimed to have registered 48,000 new Minnesota voters. If just 1% were ineligible but cast ballots, or had ballots cast for them illegally, and survived the recount process … that’s 480 votes, almost certainly overwhelmingly cast for Franken. … Maybe in pristine Minnesota even ACORN is clean. If so, the state would apparently be an outlier. …
And that is the point, dear liberals – no one thinks that ACORN created millions of votes to overwhelmingly win…but by their fraud, they can create just enough votes to allow a Democrat to win in a squeeker. That is how voter fraud works, ya know? Oh. I didn’t realize. Sorry, I thought everyone knew that. Well, lets take a look at this:
In 1948, Texas Governor Coke Stevenson ran for a U.S. Senate seat against Texas Congressman Lyndon Baines Johnson:
“Early indications were that Congressman Johnson had lost. Six days later, however, Precinct 13 in the border town of Alice, Texas, showed a very interesting result. Exactly 203 people had voted at the last minute — in the order they were listed on the tax rolls — and 202 of them had voted for Johnson.
Trying to manufacture a lot of votes to turn a big loser in to a winner is (a) nearly impossible and (b) might spark a revolution. But when its really, really close…as long as you have the guts to try, officials who are willing to be complicit or at least turn a blind eye, and an MSM which is on your side, it can be done. Democrats have always done this – and I mean going back to the foundations of the party in the early 19th century. Ask anyone of an old, Irish-Catholic family and you’ll get some stories…
Democrats did this in Washington State in 2004, attempted it in Florida in 2000 and, very likely, pulled it off again in Minnesota in 2008. It seems there were many tens of thousands – and perhaps hundreds of thousands – more votes than voters in Minnesota in 2008. Almost certainly, fraud was perpetrated and while it might have just run up Obama’s big win, it seems to have been just enough to pull Franken over the finish line.
This is why we need to have stricter controls on voting – picture IDs, period purging of the rolls (preferably every 4th year), heavy (life terms?) penalties for voter fraud…even if its just telling someone to go out and get fraudulent registrations. The only legitimacy our government has is because of the voters – if the vote becomes tainted and people lose faith in the democratic system, then its all over for the American republic. Voter fraud is, in many respects, treason – and it should be treated as such.
UPDATE: Yes, should I ever be in a position to do so, I’ll try to have the 2008 Minnesota result looked in to.
Interesting run-down of the scandal of NEA Spendulus grantees being conscripted to push Obamacare and other Obama programs. Read the whole thing – here’s the kicker:
But, there is even a larger issue that hasn’t yet received much attention in the press. Among the Obama Administration officials on the call were Buffy Wicks, Office of Public Engagement and the lead White House official on the President’s Serve.Gov initiative to promote national service. Also on the call was Nell Abernathy, Director of Outreach for Serve.Gov. One of their main goals on the call, it seems, was to encourage artists to produce works that would reinforce the President’s call for service; specifically through the Serve.Gov web-portal.
As Dana Loesch recently reported at Big Government, the Serve.Gov portal funnels citizens to volunteer or service projects connected with ACORN and other leftist groups. The taxpayer-funded website is evolving into a cyber-recruitment tool for the progressive movement.
So what did happen on that call? Was the NEA coordinating with the White House to push their agenda on a group of artists eager for and reliant upon the NEA for grants, or is the NEA telling the truth that this call “was not a means to promote any legislative agenda”?
Tomorrow at noon ET, explosive new information will answer that question and raise many others.
This if from Andrew Breitbart – he who brought us the ACORN scandals. When he says “explosive”, I’m expecting something rather large.
Goodness – amazing what a bit of investigative journalism will do:
ACORN, calling the actions of some of its employees “indefensible,” has suspended advising new clients as part of its service programs and is setting up an independent review to see what happened.
ACORN chief executive Bertha Lewis said in a written statement that she was “ordering a halt to any new intakes into ACORN’s service programs until completion of an independent review.”
There is some thought that the New York Times and the Washington Post might look in to this “investigative journalism” thing…
Ok, liberals – here’s the video – now, will you finally admit that its time to call ACORN the criminal organization it is?
Its all so clearly common for these ACORN types – prostitution, child abuse…general illegality and gross immorality. In an insane world, we have a group like ACORN and there are people who still defend it…
The story:
Senator Mike Johanns (R-NE) introduced an amendment to the HUD and Transportation appropriation bill to strip ACORN of all federal funding. A week ago, Johanns wouldn’t have gotten the amendment to the floor. Today, however, after three straight days of BigGovernment.com’s video exposés of ACORN offices in Washington DC, New York City, and Baltimore offering assistance to pimping, tax evasion, and trafficking in underage Salvadorean girls, Johanns not only got his vote — but he got an impressive bipartisan showing. The Senate passed the Johanns amendment 83-7.
At the beginning of the vote, it appeared that Democrats might resist. Initially, a half-dozen Democrats cast votes in opposition to the amendment. A few more cast votes against it as the rest of the Senate voted, but the tide appeared to shift. More and more Democrats signed onto the amendment, and votes started changing. One male voice could be heard in the chamber saying, “I want to change my vote!” Among those who changed their votes: Tom Udall (D-NM), Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ), and Herb Kohl (D-WI).
Now, these are Obama’s boys and girls, and he won’t let them go hungry…we’ll have to see if ACORN is really cut off or if some sort of late night, backroom deal isn’t reached in a reconciliation package to provide these ACORN crooks with taxpayer money. Be that as it may, this is proof that the times are changing…just 9 short months ago, liberalism was triumphant…now people are moving away from it, fearful of being anywhere near any liberal icon.
One day after two ACORN officials in Baltimore were fired for offering to help a man and woman posing as a pimp and prostitute to engage in child prostitution and a series of tax crimes, another secretly shot videotape has surfaced that shows the same couple getting similar advice from ACORN officers in Washington.
The newly released videotape, shot on July 25, shows ACORN staffers explaining to the pair how they can hide the woman’s professed work — prostitution — and get a loan that will help them establish a brothel.
James O’Keefe, a 25-year-old independent filmmaker, posed as the pimp while visiting the ACORN office, accompanied by 20-year-old Hannah Giles, who posed as the prostitute. On a videotape provided to FOXNews.com, they are seen receiving guidance to establish the woman as the sole proprietor of a bogus company to mask the nature of her business.
“She’s not going to put on (the loan application) that she’s doing prostitution … she doesn’t have to,” the ACORN staffer says. “You don’t have to sit back and tell people what you do.”
And all this ACORN criminality is just what people are catching. What would we find if we appointed a special prosecutor to look in to this, rather than absurd allegations of torture by the CIA? Of course, Obama’s Administration will never agree to such an investigation – too many people high up in Obama circles will probably be caught in the net.
All we can do right now is keep the pressure on and hope that we do win a House majority next year – and then we can start airing the full truth of leftwing crime in the United States.
UPDATE: Census Bureau terminates relationship with ACORN. This is good news, but I do wonder how many ACORN crooks the Administration will still force in to the census count? Obama and his Democrats are desperate to cook the books for redistricting – un-cooked books, you see, would lead to losses in Democrat-heavy areas. Can’t have that, you know? I mean, my goodness – a fair count and we might get more Republicans in Congress!
UPDATE II: ACORN’s take? Its all racism:
We believe our country is beyond this type of attack and call on all Americans to demand that FOX stop its racist coverage.
ACORN can take this charge and shove it where the sun don’t shine – and I, for one, pledge myself to unremitting war against ACORN and its criminal enterprises.
We do begin to wonder just how much of Obama’s victory margin was called in to being:
Eleven people hired to register potential voters in Miami-Dade County before last year’s presidential election were being sought Wednesday for falsifying hundreds of voter registration cards.
The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office issued arrest warrants for each of the 11 suspects, all of whom worked for the local chapter of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, (ACORN).
By early Wednesday morning, six were in custody, authorities said.
Of course, it could have had a bit of a different motive – as Obama won it without the necessity of fraud (which doesn’t mean that fraud wasn’t used), the bogus registrations could also have been cover for bogus donations. You know – make up a name and then that name also shows up in Obama’s donor rolls…with the money actually coming from some rich guy who’s illegally bankrolling the Obama Express.
We certainly have enough to launch a massive, nation-wide investigation. The problem is that our government got in to power with the help of the crooks, and thus won’t go after them. We’ll have to wait until people who honor the law are back in power…then we’ll have a field day with this stuff.
UPDATE: And it gets worse.
And its a badge of honor:
Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards is so upset that the nation’s Catholic bishops are opposed to being forced to pay for abortions in the health care “reform” bills that she has written a new editorial saying so. The editorial is making its way across the pro-abortion blogosphere.
In various letters to members of Congress, the Catholic bishops have made it clear that they support health care reform as long as it does not involve taxpayer-financing of abortion.
Richards, whose top goal at Planned Parenthood is making sure abortion is included and that her centers get government funds from the government-run health care plan, used the tried and true approach of talking about everything other than abortion.
She claims abortion is merely a first step and that the Catholic bishops will begin defining legitimate medical procedures out of universal health care, as if the bishops would begin opposing medical care or surgeries.
Its the same old/same old from PP – worried about the fact that fewer doctors are willing to sully their honor with elective abortions and worried that their time on the government gravy train might come to an end, the PP people are determined to get abortion in the health care bill, force doctors to perform them and, of course, keep themselves at the taxpayer trough.
This poor woman, Cecile Richards, would be well advised to drop it – seriously, to dedicate one’s life to such a cause is just a miserable waste of a life. There is so much good she could do – especially for womens health – but she prefers to gnaw the dry bone of the Culture of Death to the very end.
A bit of local news with a national angle:
A former Las Vegas director for a political advocacy group accused of illegally paying canvassers to register voters during last year’s presidential campaign has pleaded guilty to a reduced charge and agreed to testify against the group and another employee.
Chief Deputy Nevada Attorney General Conrad Hafen said Wednesday that Christopher Edwards’ plea deal strengthens a felony case against the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now and Amy Busefink, a former regional voter registration director for ACORN.
Edwards pleaded guilty this week to two counts of conspiracy to commit the crime of compensation for registration of voters.
Now, before we on the right get our hopes up about the law being enforced and other strange hopes to hold while liberal Democrats run the show, it should be mentioned that our State Attorney General is a Democrat. She’s already cooked up an indictment of what everyone assumed was Reid’s strongest 2010 challenger (our Lt. Governor), leaving only little Danny Tarkanian and A Candidate to be Named Later in the field. So, don’t expect too much – the AG might decide to enforce the law vigorously, or she might not. If she does, then she deserves our thanks – if she doesn’t, we won’t be surprised.
But one of the reasons we must fight hard against Obama and his Democrats is because of their ties to corrupt groups like ACORN and the way they are lavishing taxpayer money on these partisan groups – a political party has commandeered the Treasury to support its operatives and we must first stop it, then roll it back and then, when we do regain power, prosecute vigorously. This blow against ACORN is but one, small step – and we must not allow it to drop down the Memory Hole or be treated by the left as an aberration.
HAT TIP: An Alert Reader
And if this happens, the GOP should be able to mop the floor with the Democrat party in California in 2010:
California’s largest state employees’ union voted on Saturday to approve a strike authorization measure to protest furloughs of state workers and pressure state officials to ratify its labor contract.
A spokesman for Service Employees International Union Local 1000 said a strike was not imminent but that the vote authorized union officers to initiate certain job actions, including a strike if necessary.
The SEIU represents about 95,000 state employees, including clerical workers and teachers.
Please, please, please go on strike – it would so clearly indicate just how out of touch this major portion of the liberal base is. We’ve been looking for the means of demonstrating the problem – this would neatly fill the bill.
You see, the parts of the liberal problem tend to distance themselves, in the public mind, from each other – there is a public perception that the SEIU is not a mere adjunct of the Democrat party. If they go on strike during this crisis, it would force the Democrat leadership to back the strike. Presto! In the public mind, Democrats and SEIU are one, and both go down to defeat.
So typical:
…From 2006 to the present, Human Rights Watch’s reports on the Israeli-Arab conflict have been almost entirely devoted to condemning Israel, accusing it of human rights and international law violations, and demanding international investigations into its conduct. It has published some 87 criticisms of Israeli conduct against the Palestinians and Hezbollah, versus eight criticisms of Palestinian groups and four of Hezbollah for attacks on Israel. (It also published a small number of critiques of both Israel and Arab groups, and of intra-Palestinian fighting.)
It was during this period that more than 8,000 rockets and mortars were fired at Israeli civilians by Palestinian terrorist groups in Gaza. Human Rights Watch’s response? In November 2006 it said that the Palestinian Authority “should stop giving a wink and a nod to rocket attacks.” Two years later it urged the Hamas leadership “to speak out forcefully against such [rocket] attacks . . . and bring to justice those who are found to have participated in them.”
In response to the rocket war and Hamas’s violent takeover of Gaza in June 2007, Israel imposed a partial blockade of Gaza. Human Rights Watch then published some 28 statements and reports on the blockade, accusing Israel in highly charged language of an array of war crimes and human rights violations…
The bottom line for international do-gooder organizations is that they simply cannot be trusted. Its not a gigantic, anti-Israel or anti-America conspiracy. But the fact is that the people who volunteer to staff these organizations come from a small group of similar-minded people. Its not too often that, say, a US soldier will leave the Army after an illustrious career and go in to Human Rights Watch – he should, as he’s done more for human rights than most, but its just not in the cards. Meanwhile, people with advanced degrees – but no practical experience – flock to such groups and as they have been heavily pre-indoctrinated in to a leftist worldview, it is natural that they’ll reserve their heaviest fire for those targets hated by the left.
We shouldn’t allow this state of affairs to continue – we should get some real money and talent behind groups who will tell the truth – the whole truth – about the state of human rights in the world. We should not have groups more beholden to a leftist worldview than to truth.
Local MoveOn.org members had penciled in on today’s schedule a protest in front of Senator John Cornyn’s Spring Valley Road office, during which they had hoped to pressure the senator to support President Barack Obama’s public health care legislation. But when Paula Anderson, a MoveOn.org member and spokeswoman, showed up at 11:30 a.m., she found another contingent had beat her to the proverbial punch: A large number of Dallas Tea Party members were already set up, voicing their opposition to the proposal.
Anderson was stunned: “We really did not expect them to show up.” She estimated the crowd at about 130. “From our perspective we took names of everyone there, and we had about 30 people,” she told Unfair Park. “And I would assume they maybe had 100.” As it turned out, according to Jessica Sandlin, Cornyn’s Texas press secretary, Tea Party-hearties also showed up to health-care legislation rallies in Austin and in San Antonio…
The TEA Party movement will be in the driver’s seat at least through 2010, and perhaps all the way in to 2012. Ignore it at your peril – and that goes for both left and right politicians who wish to ignore it.
By working up a slime campaign against the firefighter at the core of the case Sotomayor ruled incorrectly upon:
Supporters of Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor are quietly targeting the Connecticut firefighter who’s at the center of Sotomayor’s most controversial ruling.
On the eve of Sotomayor’s Senate confirmation hearing, her advocates have been urging journalists to scrutinize what one called the “troubled and litigious work history” of firefighter Frank Ricci.
This is opposition research: a constant shadow on Capitol Hill.
“The whole business of getting Supreme Court nominees through the process has become bloodsport,” said Gary Rose, a government and politics professor at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn.
On Friday, citing in an e-mail “Frank Ricci’s troubled and litigious work history,” the liberal advocacy group People for the American Way drew reporters’ attention to Ricci’s past. Other advocates for Sotomayor have discreetly urged journalists to pursue similar story lines.
Ricci, as a person, bears no relevance to Sotomayor – but with her approval numbers cratering, there’s a chance that public opposition might derail her thus-far easy confirmation process. So, bring up the issue of the firefighter, make it look like he’s “after” Sotomayor and thus confuse the issue – it will no longer be a straight forward “Sotomayor denied an American his constitutional rights” but “a kook has it in for poor, little Sotomayor who is just trying to bring justice for all”. Its rather sick, enormously disgusting, and completely in line with normal, par-for-the-course liberalism. It also has the kicker of chilling the ardor of future possible litigants – the word will be out: cross a liberal judge, and it might cost you a lot.
Any of you liberals out there even within a country mile of starting to think about the cause you’ve signed on for?
The hits keep coming:
A Puerto Rican civil rights organization advised by Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor campaigned against seating conservative Robert Bork on the high court in the late 1980s, according to new documents that shed light on the group that’s become a key focus of Republicans questioning Sotomayor’s fitness to be a justice.
The Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund officially opposed GOP nominee Bork in 1987, “because of the threat he poses to the civil rights of the Latino community,” its president reported in one of several documents from the group that the Senate Judiciary Committee released Wednesday. The 350-plus pages of material offer little evidence about Sotomayor’s role in the cases and causes the organization, now known as LatinoJustice PRLDEF, took up while she served on its board from 1980 until 1992.
So, she’s part of a group which slandered Judge Bork over his views, and now she wants to be on the Supreme Court? I don’t think so.
Of course, she’ll get confirmed – the questions are rising and its clear that Sotomayor is unfit to be a Justice, but Democrats will not want to hand Obama a defeat like this early on and the GOP can’t even slow things down, even if we wanted to “do a Democrat” and try for a filibuster…we simply lack the votes.
But we can hang this vote on vulnerable Democrats – she’s someone who has un-American views about justice and who thinks race more important than truth…for some moderate Democrats, this vote will be hard to explain to the folks back home.
The story:
BIRMINGHAM, June 30 /Christian Newswire/ — A Planned Parenthood counselor in Birmingham was caught on hidden camera telling an alleged 14-year-old statutory rape victim that the clinic “does sometimes bend the rules a little bit” rather than report sexual abuse to state authorities. This is the seventh Planned Parenthood clinic implicated in a multi-state child abuse scandal involving the deliberate and unlawful suppression of evidence of statutory rape.
Lila Rose, 20-year-old UCLA student and president of the non-profit Live Action, went undercover at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Birmingham and told a counselor that she was 14-years-old, pregnant by her 31-year-old “boyfriend.” Rose said she needed a secret abortion so her parents would not find out about her sexual relationship with the older man.
After telling the counselor that her “boyfriend” is 31, Rose asks, “Is it a problem about my boyfriend?” The counselor, identified as “Tanisha” in the video, responds, “As long as you consented to having sex with him, there’s nothing we can truly do about that.” Rose then says that her boyfriend “said he could get in big trouble,” and Tanisha acknowledges that “he could, especially if your parents find out that he’s 31.” She then tells Rose that the clinic manager, OB/GYN Dr. Desiree Bates, “sometimes does bend the rules a little bit” and states that “whatever you tell us stays within these walls” and “we can’t disclose any information to anybody.”
Alabama code 26-14-3 requires health professionals to disclose suspected cases of sexual abuse to state officials immediately.
How many of these cases will we have to see before:
1. Liberals admit that Planned Parenthood is a criminal organization?
2. The Federal government stops using taxpayer funds to support PP?
3. Criminal investigations are launched against this corrupt group?
This is the 7th case documented so far – so PP knows that this is happening and if they were at all interested in obeying the law, there would already be a serious effort to discipline the affiliates to ensure they are following the law. That this has happened so many times indicates that PP doesn’t care about the law and figures that the Democrats will protect them in return for continued campaign donations. But, Democrats, is this what you really want for your party? Even if you think abortion should be legal, do you really want to be associated with people who cover up rape?
What can we expect from an organization founded by a racist eugenicist who wanted to use abortion to rid America of black people and other “undesirables”? When you start off as a criminal enterprise, you’re not likely to improve with age. We need to shut this organization down and send its leaders to jail, not prop it up with taxpayer money.
