Obama is out there trying to buy the election - and not with the small donations of average Americans, but with the criminal donations from who knows where:
Barack Obama refuses to release the names of the 2 million-plus people who have given his campaign less than $200. According to campaign officials, it would be too difficult and time-consuming to extract this information from its database.
So how come we were able to do it in a couple hours? Not literally—we don’t have access to the campaign’s list of donors—but we created a database of similar size and format in a Web-ready file and posted it online. (You can view a sample text version of it here. The full version is 824 MB.)
But before we get into the technical details (though, if you’re with the Obama campaign and want to skip ahead, please do), it’s worth dwelling on the reasons for the Obama campaign’s reluctance to disclose this information. It can’t be legal: No law prevents Obama from releasing these names.
Politically, there would be several advantages in releasing the names. Obama has campaigned (effectively) on a platform of making government more transparent, citing his efforts to do so in Chicago and Washington as signature achievements. He has also disclosed the bundlers who raise large amounts of money for his campaign. Finally, making the list public would rebut McCain’s broad and unsubstantiated claims that the list (and the huge sums of money it represents) is shot through with fraud.
Which is why, of course, Obama won’t do it - his fundraising is shot through with fraud. So much so that in my opinion the Justice Department should initiate a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization investigation into the Obama campaign. Certainly if Obama wins next week, we have to know how many criminal donations there have been and what role Obama played in setting up and maintaining this criminal conspiracy against the American electorate - because after Obama gets in, such investigations not only won’t happen, but anyone who brings such things up will be punished by Obama and his minions for daring to question The One.
Our liberal friends have been screaming for 8 years about imaginary threats to their freedom - but if Obama does manage to corruptly obtain the White House and remains un-challenged on it, then there will be no reason for him not to use the same tactics once in office…including the intimidation of media we’ve already seen in this campaign.

With ACORN and other Obama groups planning to defraud our electorate, we must stay vigilant and ensure that the vote is as clean as possible:
Today, the McCain-Palin campaign launched the Honest and Open Election hotline to help citizens learn the location of their polling place, as well as report any instances of irregularities at the polls, including voter fraud, intimidation, violence and electioneering. The hotline can be accessed via phone at: 866-976-VOTE.
“With November 4th quickly approaching, our Honest and Open Election hotline will serve as an informative guide for all Americans participating in the electoral process,” said McCain-Palin National Political Director Mike DuHaime. “The hotline will allow us to learn about and take steps toward remedying any voter irregularities at polling places across the country. While we are hopeful that Election Day will be free of any wrongdoing, allies of the Democrat Party, such as ACORN, have shown a willingness to commit fraud in both this election cycle and in 2004. Given the tightness of the polls, all examples of fraud must be addressed to preserve the integrity of the election.”
In 2004, multiple forms of voter fraud occurred, including voter intimidation, fraudulent registrations, multiple ballots cast and votes bought for money. Already during the 2008 election cycle, a dead woman in Missouri cast an absentee ballot, individuals were arrested for voting twice in Florida and people in Ohio registered and voted on the same day.
Write that number down and carry it with you when you go to vote - if you suspect anything, call it in and allow the experts to determine if its fair or foul. Don’t get into arguments about it at the polling place - but report what you see. Our right to vote is vital and we must prevent people from diluting our votes with bogus ballots.

Veteran Democratic Rep. John Murtha (Pa.) has sent out a last-minute plea for $1 million to save his hotly contested seat, endangered by his own remarks describing his district as racist.
In an e-mail sent to potential donors, Murtha’s campaign asked his supporters to maximize all campaign contributions.
“We need to raise another $1 million to compete,” his campaign fundraiser Susan O’Neill wrote in the e-mail obtained by The Hill. “We need money immediately.”
O’Neill blamed Republicans from outside Pennsylvania for Murtha’s problems. Polls show Murtha, running for his 18th term, ahead of his GOP opponent by just a few percentage points.
“Congressman Murtha is in a brutal reelection campaign,” O’Neill wrote. “The Swift Boaters have put up a candidate from Virginia and have raised millions of dollars against Congressman Murtha. In addition, other 527s and the [National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC)] have spent millions to smear Congressman Murtha on TV, radio and in newspapers.”
The definition of “swift boat”: Telling the truth about a Democrat. Murtha called our glorious Marines cold blooded murderers, and he’s called his own constituents a bunch of racist rednecks. No, Ms. O’Neill, it isn’t EVIL REPUBLICANS doing your man in, but his own idiocy.

Pork over Principle.
The Johnstown Tribune-Democrat, truly living up to its name, has once again thrown its scruples (if it had any to begin with) under the bus to try to resuscitate Jihad Jack Murtha’s sorry political career. After falsely labeling William Trower Russell as a "carpetbagger," the two-bit call-girls on the editorial board of the Tribune-Democrat go on to say,
• He is virtually a one-issue candidate, repeatedly attacking Murtha on his comments concerning Marines in Haditha, Iraq.
Yeah, I know… it’s no biggie that Jack Murtha put 8 Marines and their families in a state of living hell for over two years with false accusations (for his own political aggrandizement), without so much as a subscription to the Jelly of the Month Club for the trouble he put them through. It’s no big deal that he, an elected official sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States, threw their Constitutional right to the presumption of innocence out the window. Yep… the same guys who put their lives on the line to defend that very Constitution. But yes, I know. Pork over Principle. The lemmings at the Tribune-Democrat go on in a lame, rambling attempt to rationalize their "principled" decision to back Jihad Jack:
For some politicians, “experience” simply means too many years drawing a comfortable salary and nice benefits on taxpayer dollars without giving much back. That is not the case with Murtha, who has provided leadership and sparked the development of new programs in key areas, especially in the health-care arena: • He helped increase funding for Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., where service personnel returning from combat are treated for their injuries.
Yep… Jihad Jack cares so much about those who defend our country that he refuses to apologize to the Haditha Marines–not even to Justin Sharratt, who just happens to be Murtha’s constituent!
They go on to say, • He has increased awareness and helped fund programs aimed at two of our region’s deadliest afflictions: Breast cancer and diabetes.
Pork, pork, pork, and more pork. There are beyond a doubt more pork projects with Jihad Jack’s name in the Johnstown area than there were buildings with Caesar’s name during the height of the Roman empire. The Tribune Democrat then employs some feigned indignation at Murtha’s arrogance against his own constituency:
We have been troubled by Murtha’s statements in recent weeks about racism in his district. He first said that “western Pennsylvania is a racist area,” then tried to clarify that a week later by saying there are a lot of “rednecks” in the region. We would like to see our congressman use better judgment and not attempt to lump all of his constituency into one category.
Yeah, I know. Pork before Principle.
And, beyond all of that, Murtha’s social positions reflect those of his region much more so than those of his party. He opposes gun control and is pro-life, both positions that put him in step with most voters in our region.
Yep. Pro life and anti-gun control. I wonder if that’s why he was pal-ing around with the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Code Pink. If Jihad Jack Murtha is so "in step" with how he sees most voters of PA-12, I wonder if he sees a "racist" or a "redneck" when he looks in the mirror. Likewise, I wonder if the editorial board at the Tribune-Democrat see the same thing when they take a shave in the morning.
Further, would most voters in PA-12 have the temerity to play judge, jury and executioner to those who defend freedom without the benefit of due process? Somehow I doubt it.
But then again, Pork over Principle, right?
Once upon a time, when there wasn’t an election on the line, the editorial board at the Johnstown Tribune-Democrat wrote:
We can’t accept the congressman’s earmark dollars with one hand and brush off his alleged transgressions with the other. When he steps in mud, or when others throw mud at Murtha, we all get dirty. That’s why, when questions are raised about possible improper activities at a Murtha-created organization, we get anxious. And when a watchdog group rates our local congressman as being among “the most corrupt” lawmakers in Washington, we are embarrassed. We don’t like being characterized as folks who support questionable activities, or who endorse troubling behavior by our elected officials.
Yet when the rubber hit the road, the Johnstown Tribune-Democrat found it fit to swallow their embarrassment and sell whatever remained of their principles to once again endorse a decidedly crooked politician to represent their readership in Washington.
Pork over principle, I guess.

Never seen a more perfect illustration of the liberal disconnect from reality:
…the very visibility of Barack Obama - let alone his candidacy for the most powerful and, before Bush, the most esteemed job in the world - creates a category crisis of epic proportions. He not only mouths a rhetoric of transcending division, but is himself a seamless genetic integration of what should be immiscible. The decent, God-fearing racist must be plagued by unanswerable questions: What is this incomprehensible mutation of badness and goodness? How can the same person contain that with which I identify and which I despise? What does that make me?
In the course of the presidential campaign, we have heard Republican ads and seen GOP viral emails that pose more rational-seeming derivatives of these questions: Who is Barack Obama? Do we actually know him? Doesn’t he sound kind of uppity and elitist? Is he a Christian or a Muslim? Is he really like us? Didn’t he grow up in one of those anti-American parts of America, like Hawaii?
By way of concluding, I want to emphasize that most Americans are not consciously racist, and would abhor the prejudice and ignorance manifested by the good white Christians cited above. But as Drew Westen and other researchers have shown, the majority of people - black as well as white - harbor an unconscious negative bias against anyone perceived as black. At a deep level, most of us make use of racial categories to navigate the world, manage its vague and unseen threats, and define our worth.
And why should we expect otherwise? Every person in this country is embedded in a culture and history founded on racist beliefs, practices, and emotions. There is no place to stand outside this psychological and social reality. It saturates our national sense of self and structures our neural networks.
What is possible, however, is to acknowledge and remain mindful of this ugly and disturbing legacy so that we can minimize its influence on how we treat others, and how we elect leaders to public office. And, as the enthusiastic throngs of citizens, here and abroad, attest, it is even possible to move beyond “tolerance” - to embrace and celebrate the fluidity of categories, cultures, and identities that Obama’s candidacy has come to symbolize.
Glad to know I’m not consciously racist - as long as its only my subconscious controlled by my religious indoctrination, then its something which liberals can save me from. What a load of nonsense.
To believe that we are a people founded upon racist beliefs takes a great deal of self-enforced ignorance - not just of history, but of people in the real world. I’d like to actually see the steps in a controlled setting where someone goes from a person able to take the world as it is to being a person who constructs a fantasy life based on the world as one wishes it is. Just how does a person - presumably either non-racist, himself, or at least so wise as to be able to control it (thinking like a liberal here, for a moment, boys and girls) - who has lived among people come to such a negative, dishonest and hate-filled view of them? Getting to the bottom of this, I think, would help us explain the phenomena of people like Lenin, Stalin, Hitler and Mao and allow us to set up correctives against any such things happening in the future.
Rather than living in the real world where people are, well, people and do good and bad based upon choice and where our flawed nature is inherent in our Fall from grace, liberals live in the Alternate Universe where the United States is nothing but a grand, wicked, racist experiment in how to be as murderously greedy as possible. Continuing in this liberal mindset is the liberal idea that they, because they are smarter than the average person, have figured it all out and thus have a mission - to save us benighted bigots from ourselves. They have to figure out - by hook or crook - some means of obtaining and retaining power over us so that they may slowly remake us in the liberal image. We’ll never be free from racism, of course, but we’ll at least be conditioned by liberalism to the point where we recognize our inherent racism and are thus willing to make amends for it (to be freed from racism we’d have to be liberal, but to be liberal we’d have to be smart enough to already know that liberalism is the way to go; if you’re over the age of 18 and are not liberal, then you are inherently not as smart as liberals, and thus you’ll never figure out - on your own - that being racist is bad).
If Obama looses a week from Tuesday, liberals will say that it was because of racism - with the more paranoid among them convincing themselves that it was a racist conspiracy to defraud an electorate which, finally, was seeing the non-racist light but which was thwarted in its liberal desire by wicked men who want to keep racism alive so that they can continue to be rich, and evil, and rape the environment, and destroy all life on this planet, because they are stupid, and evil. But the fact of the matter will be, if Obama loses, that he’ll lose because he’s a pinheaded pinko of no accomplishments who has no business running for President to begin with - as he, himself, noted shortly after he was elected to the United States Senate. In a center/right America the chances of a kook lefty like Obama getting elected President are thin - and the only reason he’s gotten as far as he has is due to a successful program of slander against the GOP coupled with a massive boost from a slavishly devoted MSM. This might carry the dead cat across the finish line, and it might not - but if Obama loses it won’t be because of racism any more than if he wins it is because people suddenly feel that we need a post-racial healer to make us all better.
Meanwhile, though, we’ll be stuck with people like the author of the quoted piece - people who can’t see what is right in front of them, but who presume to tell us what ails us, and how we are to fix ourselves.

Democrats will certainly be ashamed at these people who failed to risk their all for Obama:
Thirteen campaign workers for Barack Obama yesterday yanked their voter registrations and ballots in Ohio after being warned by a prosecutor that temporary residents can’t vote in the battleground state.
A dozen staffers - including Obama Ohio spokeswoman Olivia Alair and James Cadogan, who recently joined Team Obama - signed a form letter asking the Franklin County elections board to pull their names from the rolls.
The letter - a copy of which was obtained by palestra.net, a Fox News affiliate - came a day after prosecutor Ron O’Brien publicly urged out-of-state campaign workers for both Obama and John McCain to “examine your conscience” before the elections board beings begins opening absentee ballots today.
Earlier in the week, O’Brien spoke with lawyers for both camps and urged them to make sure their staffs met permanent-residency rules, or face possible felony charges.
Come on, Obamabots; what is a little jail time compared to the prospect that Obama might not win Ohio? Surely you can fall on your swords - suppose Obama loses? What worth would there be in even so much as being alive in a non-Obama America? What price Hopenchange?

Government computers used to find information on Joe the Plumber
Investigators trying to determine whether access was illegal
“State and local officials are investigating if state and law-enforcement computer systems were illegally accessed when they were tapped for personal information about “Joe the Plumber.”
Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher became part of the national political lexicon Oct. 15 when Republican presidential candidate John McCain mentioned him frequently during his final debate with Democrat Barack Obama.
The 34-year-old from the Toledo suburb of Holland is held out by McCain as an example of an American who would be harmed by Obama’s tax proposals.
Public records requested by The Dispatch disclose that information on Wurzelbacher’s driver’s license or his sport-utility vehicle was pulled from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles database three times shortly after the debate.
Information on Wurzelbacher was accessed by accounts assigned to the office of Ohio Attorney General Nancy H. Rogers, the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency and the Toledo Police Department.
It has not been determined who checked on Wurzelbacher, or why. Direct access to driver’s license and vehicle registration information from BMV computers is restricted to legitimate law enforcement and government business.
Even if it is legal, it is still a gross invasion of privacy and a clear violation of the spirit of our laws which require government officials to have some compelling evidence of the need for personal information as it relates to professional duties. Digging up dirt for the Obama campaign doesn’t rise to the level of “professional duties”.
What is really disgusting here? The party which screamed bloody murder about the government tapping into enemy communications has no problem with the government tapping into irrelevant personal information for partisan, political ends. Hypocrisy, thy name is Democrat.

Democrats are, well, getting more and more creepy all the time:
The patchwork problem of federal and state election regulations strikes again.
Military ballots are being tossed in Fairfax Co, VA because of a “technicality.” Not a lot of them compared to the size of the electorate, but more than a few.
The registrar of voters in a Democrat. He thinks it “stinks,” but the law is the law.
Fairfax general registrar Rokey Suleman said Thursday that he has had to reject some of the ballots because of a Virginia law passed in 2002. That law — then called Senate Bill 113, sponsored by then state Sen. Bill Bolling — requires that when an overseas citizen wants to request an absentee ballot and cast a vote with the same paperwork, it requires not only a witness signature but also the current address of the witness.
The McCain campaign said there’s not even a space for the witness to list an address. Suleman agreed; he said the federal document was changed in recent years and the space for the witness address was removed. But the Virginia law hasn’t changed.
Democrats insist they’re biased towards access… so will they try to intervene on behalf of these voters?
Someone can show up on election day and get a provisional ballot from a Democrat, but let a military member being shot at on our behalf fail to dot an “i” or cross a “t”, and some Donk son of a b**** out there will find an excuse for tossing his likely-GOP ballot. Makes ya sick, doesn’t it?
Look, Democrats, there’s this thing called “morality”, you should look it up - its rather important to adhere to it, or at least attempt to do so. Among the many aspects of this morality thingy is a bit about fair play - about honesty and a sense of justice. You’re taking a big, nasty dump on America in this year of 2008, and you really need to cut it out. There really, really is a limit beyond which we won’t put up with this nonsense anymore.

Patrick Ruffini has the story:
I just contributed $5 to Barack Obama.
I didn’t want to. Ideally, I could have contributed $0.01 and cost them money. But it was the only way to confirm the root cause of the fraudulent micro-donations to the Obama campaign (”Doodad Pro” for $17,300 and “Good Will” for $11,000).
The Obama campaign has turned its security settings for accepting online contributions down to the bare minimum — possibly to juice the numbers, and turning a blind eye towards the potential for fraud not just against the FEC, but against unsuspecting victims of credit card fraud.
The issue centers around the Address Verification Service (or AVS) that credit card processors use to sniff out phony transactions. I was able to contribute money using an address other than the one on file with my bank account (I used an address I control, just not the one on my account), showing that the Obama campaign deliberately disabled AVS for its online donors…
There is much more, and I recommend reading all of Ruffini’s piece, but it seems clear to me that whatever else Obama might be, his fundraising operation has descended to a “Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization” (and there’s a law for that, too). There is simply no doubt in a rational mind that people at the Obama campaign have deliberately and with malice aforethought broken our campaign finance laws - whether or not Obama knew about it beforehand is the unanswered question, but we really should press for an answer to it.
Outside of that, we are starting to see that Barack Obama might be a bit of a con job altogether. It seems that our Obamessiah is more of a “St. Styrofoam” - puffed up to a grand thing, but easily crushed and tossed aside. Right now, I doubt the whole show - the amount of money Obama has allegedly raised (it could be remarkably less than reported, and what has been collected could be in large part illegal donations), the amount of enthusiasm he’s generating among the American population (ACORN’s bogus registrations cast doubt upon all of the alleged Democratic gains in voter registration over the past two years) and the polls alleging he’s cruising to a slam dunk victory (too many of them have massive over samples of Democrats). If Obama winds up with a landslide victory on November 4th, then it will be obvious that I’m wrong on this - but if Obama does anything from win narrowly to lose in a landslide, then I’ll be proven correct.

A 20-year-old woman who was robbed at an ATM in Bloomfield was also maimed by her attacker, police said.
Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richard tells Channel 4 Action News that the victim was robbed at knifepoint on Wednesday night outside of a Citizens Bank near Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street just before 9 p.m.
Richard said the robber took $60 from the woman, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim’s car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter “B” into her face, Richard said.
And Obama is their Hitler:
“I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face,” he said.
The American Left, if we let them win, will usher in a new era of fascism that will rival George Orwell’s dystopian vision in 1984.
I am not being dramatic… The story above is hardly unique. I am merely responding to the truth that is very much in plain sight. I am dead serious.
God help us if Obama wins.

UPDATE: There are doubts being raised in the blogosphere about the legitimacy of the woman’s claim. The questions are certainly fair, and we will see what the investigation finds. Of course, as the victim of a politically motivated assault back in 2004, I find the premise of the story plausible. Even if it turns out to be a hoax, it still doesn’t change the fact that the American Left has become more extreme, violent, and intolerant. Mark informed me the other day that tires were slashed at a Sarah Palin rally in Las Vegas this past week. And there have been stories of vandalized cars and homes. There is even a story of a house being shot at for having McCain signs.
UPDATE, by Mark Noonan: As for me, I believe the story - it was reported out here in Las Vegas that some of the people who attended the Palin rally and had McCain/Palin stickers on their cars suffered tire-slashing. The left’s MO has long been this sort of thuggish intimidation - they want people to be afraid to speak their minds and openly proclaim their views in the public square. This sort of situation tends to make people doubt their own views - feeling isolated and surrounded by people who loudly proclaim the other side, it is easy for a person to think, “perhaps I’m just out of step?”. Its why the left also wants to excise all mention of God from the public square - they want that square reserved entirely for the leftwing party line so they no longer have to deal with those troublesome people who dare to disagree.
I’d like to believe that Obama would put a stop to this sort of thing but the pupil of Ayers will only view this as first-rate “community organizing”. We have a real big fight on our hands, and we must win - but, also, keep in mind that if we do win and Obama and his minions are in shell-shocked defeat on November 5th, it won’t be the end of it. These leftists and acolytes of Obama have convinced themselves the he’s already won, and it will be impossible to unconvince them - if they’ll perpetrate violence pre-election when they think they’re winning, imagine what they may do post-election if they are convinced the election was stolen from them.

LONGWOOD, Fla. — The home of a Central Florida Republican headquarters manager was shot up and damaged over his support of Sen. John McCain, the man told police.
Rog Coverely said several pellets pierced his Longwood home. Coverely showed several spiderwebbed-holes in the front windows of his home.
The Republican manager said he is convinced he was targeted because of new McCain signs he added around his home.
“All I can tell you is this, I have a very good relationship with my neighbors,” Coverely said. “I mow my lawn. The only thing that has changed is I have two McCain signs in my front yard.”
Coverely said he has taken about 300 calls concerning stolen or vandalized McCain signs in the area.
“It says this campaign is getting vicious,” Coverely said.
Coverely said it appears Democrats are becoming more aggressive in the county.
“I wouldn’t say slipping, but I would say the Democrats have become far more aggressive in Seminole County because it is such a heavy Republican area,” Coverely said.
