Democrats are just doubling down on defending anti-Semitism – their latest gambit is to claim that our side is deliberately misconstruing statements, but that is just a dodge. The Democrats are caught in quite a bind: they can’t reject anti-Semitism because a substantial number of their supporters are overt anti-Semites (I’d guess it is around 20% of their base), but they also can’t openly embrace it. They are trying to thread the needle: how long can they? Eventually they’ll have to flop one way or the other.

Democrats are also becoming more vigorous in claiming that they’ve lost elections due to voter fraud. Projection much? I think that this sort of thing is more battle space prep in case the Trump Administration exposes the level of Democrat voter fraud.

The trade war, so-called, is heating up again: I think Trump is right when he says the Chinese are hoping they can wait it out until a GOPe squish or Democrat gets into office. We’re getting the usual shrieks of horror from the TruCons that we hear whenever their Corporate Donor Class is threatened. But, really, a brief look at history shows that the United States rose from agricultural backwater to global economic dominance under Protection. Free Trade is a great theory – but human nature denies the theory. People will cheat – and the more tyrannical the regime, the more likely there will be cheating. I think US policy should be to lower tariffs as much as possible – but that access to our economy is a privilege, not a right; and if you don’t play fair with us, you can’t sell here.

Joe Biden has a China problem. I was listening to a little bit of Rush while I was driving around and one of his callers suggested that Trump-Russia was a bit of deflection to keep us from looking closely at the connections between various American politicians and China. It is a reasonable idea: the Chinese dispense vast amounts of money in various ways, and our Ruling Class would have to be holy to refuse the bribes (and it ain’t holy).

RIP Tim Conway – you were one hell of a funny guy.

Re: the new Alabama law – of course the media and progressives are apoplectic today and Joey Scarborough just said that any attempt to overturn Roe will motivate Democrats like no other issue which made me think – isn’t it odd that having the right to legally “kill babies” motivates anyone? That’s a sick mindset.

I heard Bernie the other day go into full “climate change” beast mode. Bernie said that “unless we fundamentally change the entire global economic dependency on fossil fuel within the next few years, we will suffer irreparable harm”. It’s always amused me that according to Democrats catastrophe’s are always just a “few years out” – reminding me of the sign that reads, “free beer, tomorrow”. Anyways I also thought that at least Bernie admitted that climate change was a global issue and not something that just America is confronting but I have to wonder how Bernie intends to convince the Chinese to give up fossil fuels when we can’t even get them to agree on a tax rate.

And let’s pray that the Barr and Trump dismantle the “deep state progressive complex” and expose the Clinton’s for some of the dirtiest politics ever played in this country. They really are vile people. The media needs to be dismantled too. Time for an overhaul.

MSNBC just makes shit up. Mika was just interviewing a doctor re: women’s health and he said, and I quote: “as health care professionals, we have been trained to listen lightly to women’s concerns”

Who in the hell believes that? That is such complete bullshit and yet the statement went completely unchallenged. If said by a “doctor” I guess it must be gospel truth.

I’m not sure I understand the intent of the statement at the bottom of the graphic. Is it from someone who is trying to claim that Sowell’s statement doesn’t refer to AOC because she is paraphrased to make her comment fit the frame instead of having the entire sentence quoted?

So, what she said was: “There’s (sic) a lot of people more concerned about being precisely, factually, and semantically correct than about being morally right.”

So it doesn’t matter if you are PRECISELY correct, or FACTUALLY correct, or SEMANTICALLY correct (meaning your words say what you want them to say, or alternatively that the meaning of your words is not infinitely fluid, such as being able to claim that repeatedly saying “the world will end in 12 years” doesn’t really mean you are saying the world will end in 12 years) if you just feel good about yourself—because you are convinced that you are “morally right”.

This, by the way, is a fallback position of the Left. “So maybe Trump didn’t obstruct justice according to the way the law is written, but I feel morally right in asserting that he obstructed justice anyway because I don’t feel any pressure to be precisely, factually, and/or semantically correct because my personal moral code does not require honesty or accuracy, just what I feel.”

What’s funny is that you can’t be morally right and factually incorrect.

Mark, Dem do it all the time. It’s what they do; they are blind.

I saw the following comment on another site and definitely thought it worth mentioning here:

President Trump does not take a salary and has donated a large chunk of this year’s $400,000 paycheck to renovate and rebuild some of the nations military cemeteries. This should be news.

Yes, it should be news. While most other Presidents have greatly enriched themselves from being President. Trump is not. Bernie Sanders has become a millionaire just by running for President and I am sure we can expect all of the Democrat POTUS candidates to write books and go on the lecture circuit to bolster their bank accounts.

There is a great deal of hysteria on the Left about things different Trumps have said interested them. It is evidently a crime to want someone fired, even if no action is taken to fire him. It is evidently a crime to want to hear negative information about a political opponent, even if no negative information is received.

This is no surprise. The Left has always been fascinated with Thought Crimes. They start with mild social punishments, such as shunning or insulting or trying to intimidate, they move on to more overt punishments such as mob attacks and getting people fired, and always seem to end up imprisoning people and even torturing them and even killing them—-all for thinking the “wrong” things.

And the list of “wrong” things is long, and growing. It includes believing in God, supporting President Trump, thinking that unborn children are really human beings and not buying into the Socialist fantasies. When Socialism fully controls the government, it includes lack of fealty to the State.

I think it would be interesting to take that “wishing makes it so, and therefore criminal” mindset and apply it to people on the Left. That would mean Congressional and/or DOJ investigations of Madonna, for wishing she could burn down the White House, and Kathy Griffin for wanting to behead the president. There is enough violent wishful thinking on the Left to keep government investigators busy for months if not years, preparing prosecutions for what people think.

Maybe we should take another page out of the Leftist handbook and encourage friends, family members and business associates to report all campaign officials or people interested in getting anyone elected to any office if they have responded positively to offers of negative information about opponents, now that that is an indictable offense calling for Congressional investigation. I think someone on the Obama team, several years ago, responded quite eagerly to the offer to provide negative information about his Senatorial campaign opponent, and it didn’t take long for that salacious gossip to result in illegal action, unsealing court documents to show that his opponent had once asked his wife to have sex with him, but in a place where other people were also having sex. Find that campaign official and call him in for a few hours of under-oath grilling!

When See BS was offered negative information on George W Bush, they jumped at it and published it even knowing it was false—get those criminals in front of a Congressional committee! Everyone at See BS from Brokaw on down should be interrogated and prosecuted, now that we know they committed heinous crimes by accepting negative information in a campaign.
