This is a bit important:
U.S. Attorney John Durham’s ongoing probe into potential FBI and Justice Department misconduct has transitioned into a full-fledged criminal investigation, two sources familiar with the investigation told Fox News on Thursday night.
One source added that DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s upcoming report on FBI surveillance abuses will shed light on why Durham’s probe has become a criminal inquiry.
Now, we’ll see how it comes out – but I’m just pleased that there’s likely to be a grand jury empaneled and these Deep State creeps will be dragged through it. Maybe we can’t send them to jail…but we can do a bit of the Left’s “the process is the punishment” on them. Let them have to hire attorneys and bankrupt themselves doing it. Enough is really enough.
The Left is, of course, having fits tonight about this – but that made me point out on Twitter that they are simply not used to a Republican President who fights back. They are used to investigating us and dragging our names through the mud and never a bit of pushback. Even when a Democrat’s corruption is so flagrant that they do have to go to jail, they are used to the GOP taking no advantage of it. Part of this is because a lot of our guys are neck deep in it, as well: and know they can expect no mercy from the Left. But, come on! As Matt and I carefully recorded in our 2007 book, The Caucus of Corruption, the Democrats/Left/Establishment/What Have You are corrupt to the bone. And they’ve simply gotten away with it – and for so long that they really do think the laws don’t apply to them. Well, they are about to find out that the only man with the federal power of indictment and trial is President Trump…and he’s not only uninterested in going along to get along, he’s got a lot of scores to settle. The good news is that his opponents are so dirty that Trump merely has to find a guy who will investigate and prosecute and just let things roll along.
You might have forgot the Israeli elections a little while back – but, they are still going on, because there was no clear winner:
President Reuven Rivlin on Wednesday tasked Benny Gantz, the Blue and White party leader, with forming Israel’s next government, after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced earlier this week that he had failed to do so.
Gantz, like Netanyahu before him, now has 28 days to try and form a government, though the prime minister-designate is seen as being no more likely to manage the task.
So, Bibi is at least temporarily out: but it does seem difficult for Gantz to put a government together. Though, without knowing all the ins and outs of Israeli politics, I wonder if Bibi would be willing to throw his support to Gantz in return for a dropping of the ongoing criminal investigation Bibi faces? Guess we’ll find out – but from what I can tell, the likely outcome is that the Israelis will have to go to the polls a third time to see if they can sort it out. This is why I do like our Presidential system of government, by the way: it is clear, concise and only one person can possibly win.
We might finally get the 54’40” that President Polk promised us so long ago:
Following the reelection of Justin Trudeau as Prime Minister with a Liberal minority, #Wexit, or Western exit (a play on Brexit), immediately began trending on Twitter, with separatist accounts gaining thousands of new followers.
One of the most important takeaways from the election is the blue sweep throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan. Both provinces have expressed growing indignation over the other provinces’ dependence on the oil industry, while simultaneously trying to stifle Alberta’s business prospects and economic growth by opposing pipelines.
“Blue” in Canadian terms is like “Red” here in the States: basically, Canada has the same sort of divide we do – coastal vs interior and urban vs rural. And if you want to talk about a loused up system: Trudeau barely crested 33% of the vote – a smaller total than his Conservative rival – and yet secured another four years as Prime Minister. I naturally doubt that Canada will break up – but, I’m pretty sure we could get Republican Senators out of the new States of Alberta, Saskatchewan and East British Columbia. So, let’s talk!
Congresswoman Katie Hill (D-CA) who probably won via a flurry of ballot-box stuffing in 2018, is quite the saucy tart. What makes it really funny is that this bong-hitting, tramp-stamped boozer who likes to go nude was fussing about Kavanaugh’s moral fitness. If it wasn’t for double standards, they’ve have no standards at all.
Wow. The Church grew a back bone:
Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden was reportedly refused Holy Communion at a catholic church in South Carolina because he ‘advocated for abortion’, according to a priest at the church.
It’s about time. I was disgusted when Pope Francis not only gave Pelosi a private audience but then posed for photo ops with her and I’ve been fed up with a Church that hasn’t been able to stand up for what it preaches. Good for this priest. No doubt he will be disciplined for it but I would say he is a better Catholic than the Pope.
The Babylon Bee ran a piece about what could easily have been a CNN piece on the war dog who ran down al-Baghdadi:
In the “exclusive” report, CNN supposedly “searched through the dog’s internet history and college yearbooks” following the reports of the hero’s actions.
“Sure enough, CNN found a picture of the Hero Dog partying at obedience school. In the picture, the dog is seen sniffing a butt without consent,” the “report” continued. “Troubling reports from classmates indicate that the dog sniffed all these butts without consent. The dog wrote cryptic things in his college yearbook, apparently referring to different butt-sniffing maneuvers such as the Surprise Sniffarooski and the Canine’s Triangle.”
“Democrats immediately called for the dog to be court-martialed and for the death of Baghdadi to be overturned,” the piece concluded.
The comments are the best part:
””There’s also a report of a whistleblower but only he can hear it.”
“Kavanaugh knew this guy in college.”
“I saw an MSNBC report that he once dressed up as a black lab for a fraternity party.”

ROTFLMAO
I also loved the Democrat headlines I saw in the last couple of days:
Trump murders father of three and his children
Trump targets religious scholar
If you can’t laugh at what’s going on, they will drive you mad
The YCMTSU file just got a lot thicker this week.
Still laughing from the Babylon Bee piece.
Here’s today’s headline from the leftist publication Axios:
A growing number of Republicans are privately warning of increasing fears of a total wipeout in 2020: House, Senate, and White House.
WOW. The disconnect is vast. What in the world would lead Democrats to believe this???? Is it because they have such proAmerican policies they are campaigning on? Issues like free healthcare to illegal immigrants? Taking away guns? Increasing taxes? Leaving the borders open? And abortion for everyone including men?
Are they seriously this stupid?
https://www.axios.com/republican-party-2020-election-wipeout-house-senate-trump-3ca4a371-cdfb-4213-9ff0-2cf058aa7537.html
What is “a growing number”? From one to two? From two to three? Is Mitt counting himself and his alter ego, Pierre, as two? Republicans in general or just in Congress? Do they count Bill Kristol and which-way-is-the-wind-blowing Erick Erickson?
In other words, these are weasel words which mean nothing but strive to imply great significance.
For over 30 years, Donald Trump has held the same positions he is espousing today and now putting into practice. That folks, is a genuine person and a true patriot. Not a glammed up politician who panders to the identity group du jour …. Trump 2020 No More Bullshit
Emphasis mine:
The State Department has opened an investigation into a campaign of leaks targeting the Trump administration’s top Iran official, including leaks of a non-public inspector general report, according to multiple sources inside the Trump administration and on Capitol Hill who have been briefed on the investigation and the report.
……………………………..
“It’s the Steele Dossier playbook. Anonymous sources from far inside the Deep State, are laundered to anti-Trump journalists and partisan warriors on the Hill, which are then fed back into the system as evidence,” a GOP congressional staffer told the Free Beacon. “This is how they’ve been targeting Trump since even before he took office, this is how they’re doing it now. It’s also how they did the Ukraine whistleblower report.”
……………………………
“This is a terrible example of how the left criminalizes policy differences. Today, the ‘deep state’—what you’d call the national security branch of the permanent administrative state—is so thoroughly uniform in its views on every conceivable issue, deviation from that consensus could only be understood to be criminal, racist, corrupt, or illegal,” said David Reaboi, a GOP political operative and national security expert with close ties to the administration.
Good analysis. But at least now we know, now we understand the tactic, and now we are working to weed out the subversives and saboteurs.

Rush broke some really interesting information on his show today.
Wow. I’ve been sitting here trying to process all this.
Last night I watched Laura Ingraham, who is starting to impress me. She had some great people on and made some really good points, but one thing she said, which is the accepted narrative on the Right, is that Pelosi, et al, are motivated by blind hatred of Trump. That’s right, but it doesn’t go deep enough—the question is WHY is he so hated?
Go deeper than the superficial “He’s just not part of the Establishment”. I think it is because he does pose an existential threat to the efforts of the International Left.
Backing up a bit—the term “existential threat” has been tossed around a lot lately. We need to look at what it really means, and where it really applies. It means a threat to the very EXISTENCE of something. And this is what Trump is, because he understands the fact that the Left has burrowed so deeply into the very fabric of our government that it lies many layers deep and his goal is to identify these embedded anti-American threats to our nation and dig them out.
Ann Coulter once wrote about Senator McCarthy that what everyone forgets is that HE WAS RIGHT. When I look back at McCarthy I see someone whose message was very effectively neutralized by the careful and relentless attacks on him as a person, on his personality and his abrasiveness. But the thing is, HE WAS RIGHT. Our government had been infiltrated, all the way to the top, by Communists back when it was still understood that Communism was a threat to our very existence as the nation founded in the 19th Century. Attention was skillfully diverted away from that and focused on the man, who was demonized to the point where today even conservatives use the term “McCarthyism” as a pejorative. It worked because even then the Left controlled the press. Back then “the press” was the print medium, and controlling what went into the newspapers meant controlling what the people were told.
This is a new day, with new media which can bypass the print medium and get information out not only more effectively but much faster. This is the only thing that can save us.
Think back for a minute to the last few months of the Obama administration. Remember all those Obama people who were suddenly appointed heads of agencies? There was comment at the time about them being moved into Civil Service type positions in the newly evolved Fourth Branch of Government, where they could continue to work for the Left and be protected by our Civil Service laws. I need to go back and see what I can find on that—-I know we discussed it here. I think the Obama years were the pinnacle of subversive penetration of our government, and we are now seeing some of the results of that embedding of subversives in our military, our State Department, in the decision-making branches of government.
Back to Laura’s comments—-I don’t think the visceral hatred of Trump is just because he is obnoxious or annoying, or because he isn’t a member of The Club. I think it is because he is not only aware of the deep penetration of subversives in our government he is dedicated to getting rid of them. The thing is, it can be hard to find them. Sometimes we can look at the actions they take, like the radical Leftism of the administration of agencies like the Forest Service and the BLM and the EPA, but those seldom rise to the level of calling for public attention. But careful trolling of irresistible lures, like the chance to impeach Trump over something, seems to make them pop up to join the fray, and that is when we can see them and take them out.
This latest witch hunt started off pretty well for the Left. They had Schiff running point for them, a weasel who simply does not care how often he is identified as a liar, and they had an anonymous “whistleblower” who would be protected by Schiff. When that started to unravel, though, they had to dig a little deeper and come up with some names of some real people, and that’s when it really starts to get interesting. This Taylor thing, which was supposed to nail Trump with his email comment, has blown up in their faces, and the blast wave is extending to the Bidens.
A rancher’s perspective: We are infested with rodents people refer to as prairie dogs, though “prairie RATS” would be a better name for them. They move into productive farm or range land, burrow deeply and create elaborate interconnected burrows with several exits to the surface, and destroy the land they occupy. Think about it—when you see a picture of a prairie dog village, it is always stark and barren. It wasn’t that way when they moved in but they destroyed the habitat that had attracted them in the first place. Small populations aren’t that bad, but when the numbers get too large they end up infesting the entire area with fleas and other parasites and even carry bubonic plague. (You’re seeing the analogy here.) Anyway, they are hard to get rid of. One approach is to flood the burrows, either with water or with exhaust from some old badly tuned gasoline engine, and then when they pop up to shoot them. It’s like Whack-A-Mole with bullets.
If you remove the “bullets” from the analogy, because that would be considered a threat to kill Libs, and just stick to the imagery of deep interconnected burrows full of rodents which destroy any environment in which they can become established, and the need to get them to surface so you can get rid of them, you can see why I compare this to dealing with the deeply embedded Leftist subversives we are now seeing pop out of their holes to be identified. Trump and a few Republicans like Jim Jordan are trying to flood those burrows to force more and more rodents to the surface.
Trump and a few Republicans like Jim Jordan are trying to flood those burrows to force more and more rodents to the surface.
THEN can we shoot them? (great Fiona line from Burn Notice)
The Prairie “rat” analogy is a good one, especially this part:
Leftists destroy pretty much everything they touch, not the least of which is the human spirit. I think it was probably Kurt Schlichter who described them as “soul crushing.”
Yeah, I loved Fiona too. I miss that show.
I just think it is time to stop focusing on each individual act and person and step back to see the overall patterns and what they mean. We are not talking about personality conflicts here, but some very serious stuff.
Sometimes a general house cleaning can sweep out a lot of the bugs, like Trump’s slashing of the size and scope of federal agencies. But sometimes they have to be more forcibly removed. We do have some serious journalists who are doing great work in ferreting out clandestine relationships and connections among different people, agencies and agendas, though they are ridiculed, demeaned and attacked for every news story they break.
And the more we see trolls relentlessly struggling to support the Leftist narrative, usually by spouting hatred of Trump but then adding the lies necessary to prop up the theme, the easier they are to spot. I noticed the themes of “but MOST illegal drugs/people come in through ports or airports so we don’t need much security along the border” and “but Biden only acted to get that prosecutor fired because EVERYONE IN THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY knew he was corrupt and Biden was just acting to remove a known bad guy and besides Burisma was not even under investigation/had been cleared” as two examples of Leftist memes suddenly popping up everywhere.
When we see a theme like either of these constantly, repetitively, flooding the comment sections of web sites we know we are seeing the trolliverse at work. When that happens we know we are getting too close for comfort to a protected Leftist agenda.
Hint: It’s not a “conspiracy theory” if it’s a real CONSPIRACY.
Glenn Beck is taking his investigation to the next level tonight at 8PM EDT on The Blaze.com, Facebook and Youtube. I’ve only caught bits and pieces of his radio show the last few days, but it sounds like he’s delving into where the $7 billion (yeah, billion with a “b”) that the Obama Administration gave to Ukraine disappeared to.
Beck did say on his radio show yesterday that he’s gotten feedback from a number of GOP Congressmen and Senators who have viewed his chalkboard presentation on the Ukraine timeline from 2014 to 2019 and asked for suggestions of how they could condense it down to 2 or 3 minutes to use on guest slots on opinion shows. He said it’s just not possible given how tangled the web of lies and deceit is.
I’ve been saying we need a Beckish whiteboard presentation to line out the complex interrelations of the characters. Again, I think the RNC or some PAC needs to buy an hour, or a couple of hours on consecutive nights, on a network and advertise the daylights out of it and have a very appealing personality, like Tom Selleck, go through the details.
As for the infiltration of subversives into the highest level of government, I keep coming back to Kim Philby. If we can’t learn from history we are doomed to repeat it. (A major reason for the efforts of the Left to rewrite or simply erase history.)
Philby was now in charge of Britain’s anti-Soviet intelligence operations and was now in a position to inform Moscow not only of what Britain was doing to counter Soviet espionage, but also of Britain’s own espionage efforts against the Soviet Union. As Robert Cecil pointed out: “At one stroke he got rid of a staunch anti-communist and ensured that the whole post-war effort to counter communist espionage would become known in the Kremlin. The history of espionage offers few, if any, comparable masterstrokes.” ( Another historian put it another way: “The fox was not merely guarding the hen house, but building it, running it, assessing its strengths and frailties, and planning its future construction.)”
