May Day – the day the Commies get together on Social Media and get #SocialismIn5Words trending…only to have it hijacked by we on the right, making merciless fun of them. I hope they enjoy!

The Democrats are terrified of Ron DeSantis – and with good reason: he’s staying friendly with Trump without falling under Trump’s shadow, he’s pushing base-pleasing policies, he’s showing how it’s done in handling the ‘Rona…and he knows precisely how to tell the MSM to stick it where the sun don’t shine.

For now, 2024 is Trump’s for the asking – but, will he ask? He’s not going to tell us until after the 2022 mid-terms. If he doesn’t run, then right now Ron DeSantis is the man surging to the front because he’s the guy doing it right. So, expect the MSM/DNC to simply go ever more ballistic against him over the next couple years. They don’t want Kamala facing off against him in 2024.

How did Senator Scott’s response to Biden’s speech go? Well, to nutshell it – the Democrats have let their inner racist out in attacking him.

I and many others have noted that the people who are saying to follow the science are also using the phrase “pregnant people.” Sorry, girls: in order to complete the liberation of women, you’re being erased.

Republicans are starting to turn on the corporations – and it is way past time. They are woke and they are our political enemies.

A great many people on our side have read their playbook. Ridicule, as Alinsky noted, is a powerful tool.

I wish we did it more often, and were better at it. I have been saying for years that the Left’s ponderous self-righteousness and smugness can most easily be punctured by humor and ridicule.

Today the most obvious target is maskholes. those smug virtue-signaling science deniers strutting around with their ostentatious face diapers, but the Left provide us with an endless supply of ridicule-worthy nonsense.

I’m liking DeSantis more and more all the time. As big a Trump fan as I have become, I am thinking that DeSantis might be a good replacement, as he seems to have the same boldness and ability to stand up to the Agenda Media and the feckless Leftist politicians that Trump has but without the baggage. I’ll vote for Trump in a heartbeat if he runs, don’t get me wrong, but if it turns out to be DeSantis I won’t be disappointed., because he’s the real deal—military service and age included. He might win over some of those lame-brain suburban twinkies, especially if they showcase those photos of him in uniform—definitely a hunk.

Though I have to agree, a Trump/DeSantis administration would set us up for a three-term run, which is pretty good. I just think Trump might be tired, and ready to take on a different role, which would be kingmaker and thorn in the side of the Left from a different direction.

I agree that Trump will prefer to be the King maker this time around, but I too would vote for him in a heartbeat again and would have no hesitation voting for DeSantis either.

I saw a report over the weekend in the agenda corporate media about the recount in AZ and how “extremely dangerous” this is to our “democracy” (and again, we are a REPUBLIC media morons). But nevertheless the media is up in arms that a “private” cyber security firm was hired to conduct the recount and of course this was deemed completely unacceptable by the propagandists. I am guessing the fact that Dominion is too a “private” firm was lost on them but alas, the media did find one person associated with the cyber security firm who was supportive of Trump on social media and this of course is proof positive that the cyber firm is corrupt.

Ironically as I was watching that report, I was reading about the riots in Portland again over the weekend and found it somewhat incredulous that PMSNBC spent 10 minutes covering the recount complete with commentary from the Low IQ panel but yet didn’t have time in their hour long show to cover their voters who methodically destroy infrastructure and peoples lives on a nightly basis.

I saw a report over the weekend in the agenda corporate media about the recount in AZ and how “extremely dangerous” this is to our “democracy”

No more dangerous than the DNC hiring Crowd Strike to examine their servers instead of allowing the FBI to do so. But then we’ve kind of come to expect hypocrisy from Democrats.

I really can’t tell if the talking heads are as stupid as they sound or if they really know that what they are saying is totally contrary to reality.

Setting aside the republic/democracy issue, if they want to consider this a democracy then they are saying they think our leadership should be decided by a majority of those voting. Yet at the same time, out the other sides of their mouths, they are saying they think an accurate count of those votes is a threat to the system of democracy they so loudly revere. So which is it? They want a sham democracy in which the true number of votes cast is irrelevant as long as they get the outcome they want, or they want a true democracy in which decisions are made based on accurate vote counts?

They say/howl, not just with straight faces but with anguished faces distorted by the outrage and awfulness of it all, that laws which expand access to voting really restrict such access, even with the data in front of them. They lie about the January 6 event, which can barely be defined as a riot given the lack of violence, the lack of property damage and motive of most to not STOP the certification of uncertifiable vote tallies (which would have actually been a noble cause) but to merely DELAY those certifications until the validity of the vote tallies could be verified.

But I guess that sums it up. They lie. If they say what they say because they truly believe it, they are delusional and mentally deficient, but it still comes down to the same thing—they lie.

Black Lives Matters has issued a mission statement and ironically, none of their demands include curbing the violence in black neighborhoods in Chicago or Baltimore or NY. Weird isn’t it? But they do seem to have an extreme irrational fear of Donald Trump and white people:

    * Convict and ban Trump from future political office:
    * Expel Republican members of Congress who attempted to overturn the election and incited a white supremacist attack
    * Launch a full investigation into the ties between white supremacy and the Capitol Police, law enforcement, and the military
    * Permanently ban Trump from all digital media platforms
    * Defund the police
    * Don’t let the coup be used as an excuse to crack down on our movement
    * Pass the BREATHE Act

And here is the details of the “breathe” act:

The BREATHE Act paints a vision of a world where Black lives matter through investments in housing, education, health, and environmental justice.”

And we all know how effective these programs are for black people in Nigeria and the Sudan so why not replicate it here?

    • Amazona May 4, 2021 / 10:07 am

Yeah, well, this is par for the course for the Left: Get rid of all opposition. When they have to deal with the inconvenient reality of shared power they just try to get public support for eliminating their opposition, and then when they have taken advantage of the cleared path to complete control they just kill those who speak out against them, or send them to gulags or concentration camps or political prisons.

(Side note: In the parallel war of Semantic Manipulation, the word “gulag” has been co-opted by game companies and incorporated into at least one game where it is both sanitized and glamorized. In an effort to impress upon two teenaged boys the danger of being tracked online into every aspect of their lives I said that if the Left gained enough power then merely posting photos of themselves wearing Trump hats could get them sent to gulags and their faces literally lit up and they said “Cool”. Huh? It turns out that in some very popular game a “gulag” is a level of combat sought after as proof of skill. In other words, it will be hard to impress upon young men the dangers of political gulags after they have been brainwashed into thinking of gulags as the equivalents of a kind of Super Bowl where only the best are invited.)

I can’t speak for anyone other then myself but holy smokes am I tired of this “victim” mentality that permeates this country. Even the billionaires consider themselves victims on some level. It’s nauseating. We just have too many weak people in this country who suffer from battered wife syndrome and just hoping the beating stops at some point.

      • Amazona May 4, 2021 / 4:28 pm

I think my favorite new victim story is that of the woman who claims that automatic soap dispensers are racist because they demand that the palms of the hands be presented facing upwards, which is the lightest skin on black and brown people, and is a position of submission.

Anyone who can work herself up into a frenzy of victimhood because she has been able to concoct such a convoluted and basically insane theory has to be the new poster child of victimhood. Not to mention of utter stupidity. I have checked those soap dispensers since reading this and they work even if you present the back of your hand, or your forearm or elbow.

It’s not that we have people this stupid in this country, it’s that they feel so confident in revealing their stupidity because it will be not just accepted but in some circles admired or celebrated.

We keep reading comments about how maybe, just maybe, Liz Cheney will be primaried—as if there is any doubt in Wyoming. I’m surprised she is still in Congress at all, given the surge of anger and resentment that swept the state when she started in on Trump.

It’s not just Trump loyalty—it’s the stubborn insistence on things that are simply not true. She can dislike Trump all she wants. A lot of people do. But it is so obvious that he did not incite a riot, and that that the event on January 6 was not an effort to “overthrow the government” or even “overturn the election” and that it fell quite short of even being a “riot” when compared to real riots that are even now being referred to as mere “unrest” that her basic honesty and intelligence are in question.

Liz is toast. There may be a few holdouts up in her neck of the woods—Jackson, that little blue cyst of Liberals in an otherwise rational state—who will stand by her. Maybe.

One of the comments heard about her is that she is a carpetbagger, which is true. She grew up in Virginia, not Wyoming, and is a true blue state Lib. She only went back to Wyoming to run for Congress, knowing that her daddy still has a lot of respect in the state. She ran on his name, she won on his name, and then she s**t on his name, is the way people in Wyoming see it.

  7. Amazona May 4, 2021 / 8:50 pm

Isn’t it time we started calling the January 6 Capitol event “unrest” and not a “riot”? After all, in Portland, when people are shot and doors are nailed shut with people inside and then the building is set on fire, in an effort to burn these people alive, and buildings are torched and businesses destroyed and roads are blocked and drivers attacked this is all referred to as mere “unrest”. So a few rowdies taking selfies and looking for souvenirs should be considered as merely contributing to “unrest” as well.

Democrats weaponize everything … language, art, sports, music, and even a flu virus. They suck the life out of everyone they are around, they destroy everything they touch and they always blame others for their failure. The current chaos in this country is a direct result of government institutional failure over the last 50 years and those who oversaw and managed the failure are blaming racism and their legions of ignorant activists who they shoved through their poor performing schools, are now their brown shirt militant wing.

The only way to save this country is to destroy Democrats. One by one. Break their will. Make them question their existence. Get in their face every day. Individual acts of confrontational defiance.

      • Amazona May 6, 2021 / 7:30 pm

There are ways to get in peoples’ faces without being overtly hostile or confrontational. I personally prefer to challenge: “Why do you support consolidating power in the hands of a few elites?” The answer is almost always “But I don’t” which is a natural lead-in to “But you support (blank) and that takes power away from the people or local level and puts it in the hands of just a few at the top”.

If you are talking about a policy that clearly does that, you have just won, though the Lib’s response will not be to engage in discourse about it or admit you are right but just be a version of “Well, you’re just a big white supremacist racist poopy-head”—but you both know you won. And it might be the tiny kernel of an idea that grows a little every time a new power grab takes place and the same elites end up richer or more powerful.

I was reading through some local real estate reports yesterday and not surprisingly the huge influx of new residents to AZ over the last year have come from CA, WA, and MN …. and in big numbers. And CA holds a 3 to 1 margin over all others.

Now you would think this “reality” would permeate the “deluded” mind of the average Democrat but no. Democrats are too self absorbed in personal worship and virtue signaling to notice the depravity their narcissism brings on.

This showed up in my inbox a while back, and I could not have said it better myself.

You know folks, I never cared that you were gay or transgender until you started shoving it down my throat and demanded that I not just be tolerant of your differences but accept and embrace them. I never cared what color you were till you started blaming me for your problems and demanded that I apologize for the fact that I was born with less melanin in my skin. I never cared about your political affiliation until you started condemning me for mine. I never even cared where you were born until you wanted to erase my history and blame my ancestors for your problems, even though my ancestors came here to escape people like you. I never cared if your beliefs were different than mine until you said mine were wrong and demanded I change them or be cancelled. I never cared enough to investigate what my children were learning in school, but now my grandchildren are being taught to hate the country, hate themselves and hate each other. Well, now I care, my patience and tolerance are gone, and I am not alone. There are millions of us who feel this way, and we are not going down without a fight.

      • Amazona May 5, 2021 / 11:44 am

I think this resonates across the country. I could have written it myself and I wish I had.

I have friends who are deeply distressed about the death spiral of this nation, but while the trajectory is equally upsetting to me I see a silver lining in this cloud in my belief that the Left, in its arrogance and hubris and galloping greed for power is forgetting the story of the frog in the pot and turning the heat up way too high way too fast—-and frogs are jumping out of the pot.

Looking at how successful the gradual escalation of Leftism has been—the slow heating of the pot—I think the Left might have been able to accomplish even more if they had not been so seduced by the prospect of all the power all at once.

The problem I see now is that the Right hasn’t built a good spot to land in, so we have a lot of disenchanted, disoriented and disconnected little froggies bouncing around without a clear concept of where to go next.

      • Retired Spook May 5, 2021 / 1:40 pm

I’m betting the number of people who feel this way is substantially greater than you can imagine.

      • Amazona May 5, 2021 / 2:32 pm

I agree. But they need a voice—–and not just another Social Media voice.

When people come home and turn on a TV station there should be one that offers real news, real journalism, content that is entertaining but not smutty, and information that counters the lies of the Left. And we need to have that voice available to people who don’t watch or even have cable.

      • Retired Spook May 5, 2021 / 4:59 pm

It would seem to me that the best, most cost-effective way to reach people who aren’t paying attention would be billboards in strategic locations where traffic jams are common.

      • Amazona May 6, 2021 / 2:08 am

I’ve actually made that suggestion. I’ve also remembered something Glenn Beck once said when he was talking about wanting to find funding to pay for billboards. He said an independent trucker called him and said that he, and thousands of other truckers, drag 53′ billboards down the highways of this country every day.

The topic of this month’s Hillsdale College newsletter, Imprimis, is Critical Race Theory, something everyone should read and understand. If it’s allowed to take a firm hold, it will destroy the country.

Oh my goodness—the Silly Season is upon us. Our first sighting:

🙌🏾Thanks to all of you, Black Hammer has successfully liberated 200 Acres of Land to build our City 🌃! FOR COLONIZED PEOPLE ONLY! 👳🏾‍♂️👩🏾‍🦱👲🏻🧕🏾 We are located high up in the mountains 🏔 10,000 feet in the air with RICH soil! We have One Lake and Three Rivers on the land!

This offers so much to mine, it’s hard to know where to start. BTW, after living and ranching at 9600 feet in Colorado I can speak to this with some authority.

First, the photos show either thin-looking dirt with a few scattered sage brush or just plain rocks, and some steep slopes, so it’s not 200 flat tillable acres. And I’m thinking these guys have never actually SEEN “fertile soil”.

Second, Colorado has rigid water rights laws—there are more water rights lawyers in the state than in the rest of the country (if not the world) combined. These people can’t take water out of the “rivers”(!) or the lake without established, adjudicated, water rights in place. (I don’t think there is a 200 acre parcel anywhere in Colorado with “three rivers” on it.)

Third, any county in Colorado is going to be very interested in their human waste disposal plans

Fourth, “liberated” from whom? They BOUGHT this land, with OPM. A title search would show just how many owners away from any indigenous people this land ownership is.

Fifth, cold. I used to count on minus 40 degrees every night every January, and in a bad year that would extend into daytime hours and start in December, through February. And, as we used to say, we had three seasons—winter, July and August. We couldn’t grow tomatoes even at 6000 feet because the growing season was so short. Hint: at 40 below, EVERYTHING freezes.

Sixth, snow. Oh, so much snow. And moving snow, as the wind puts it here, then moves it over there, then moves it back again. No path or road remains clear, if it can even BE cleared. We had a tractor-mounted snow blower and an 8-hour day of going back and forth would keep the driveway passable, kind of, as the wind would shift and blow it in again. And that was on a day without new snow falling. In Breckenridge, Colorado (also at 9600 feet but not where I lived) Snow fell in the town for 79 straight days, piling up past business doors, in a historic snowfall documented in images from 1898-1899.

There was so much snow, residents were forced to dig tunnels through Main Street. When spring (!) finally came, some residents, including a couple of nuns, skied all the way over the mountains and down to Denver to let people know they had all survived—and then skied back again. Somehow I can’t see any of these twinkies having that kind of grit.

Even in the southern Rockies snow and cold are daunting, and these twinkies will have a hard time finding emojis to express their dismay when reality hits.

The comments on the article do a good job of summing up their silliness. My favorite:

Donner Party 2.0, ready to roll.
When it comes to it Don’t forget to crack the long bones for marrow, it’s very nutritious.

Rep. Andrew Clyde, R-Ga., recently returned from a trip to the U.S.-Mexico border. On his flight back, Clyde sat next to illegal immigrants.

“The taxpayers are paying for this,” Clyde says of illegal immigrants flying to new homes in the U.S. with the assistance of the Transportation Security Administration. “This is federal government-funded activity. Not only that, they don’t even have to abide by the TSA rules because they don’t have any valid government-issued ID. So, TSA is allowing them to fly with everyone else without government-issued photo ID.”
    ……………………….

.And we don’t know whether or not they have actually had a negative COVID test so that they can actually be shown to not be carrying the COVID-19 virus. So, it was very disconcerting to me to be sitting beside these people.

If you come into the United States legally through a regular port of entry, you fly in, you have to show a negative COVID-19 test within three days of arrival at that port of entry, if you come in legally. But if you come in illegally, you don’t have to do that at all.

He also points out that when illegals are then put on planes and shuffled off to different states, those states become border states. This policy is simply insane.
