Pudding Brain saved us from Trump’s financial crisis. Hey, I’m just going on what the MSM is saying here!

What really happened is that a bunch of banks got caught in a squeeze on US Treasuries – because of Biden’s failed policies, those bonds lost a lot of value. Banks are required to have a certain amount of assets against liabilities, right? Well, the Treasuries were assets…which then cratered in value. This forced a lot of banks to try and dump the Treasuries (which nobody wanted because, of course, their value was on the downswing)…and this, in turn, led to a cash crunch: the banks didn’t have enough money to cover operations. Bye, Bye SVB and a couple other players. Fortunately, we’ve got Pudding Brain!

His people came up with this idea – and I’m not kidding here: the Federal Reserve will now loan failing banks money at low interest rates with the devalued Treasuries held as collateral at face value.

That’s it. That’s the plan. What could possibly go wrong?

Well, borrow half a million against your $250,000 house and let me know how that goes.

If you could. You can’t because you can’t borrow for greater value than your security. You know: laws of economics and all that stuff. The Banks can because they donate to the right people…and in the case of these particular failing banks, their depositors are also deeply connected to the Democrat ruling class (naturally with lots of Chinese connections, too; I’m pretty sure the boys in Shanghai gave Team Pudding Brain a call over the weekend). This is the merest papering over the cracks. It’ll likely keep things rolling for a bit. How long? Who the heck knows? Long enough for the connected to get their money back and into something besides a US bank. To loan this money the Fed will have to print which will put upward pressure on prices which will force the Fed to jack up rates some more which will punish Treasuries making their value drop even more (this is how they can claim it won’t cost taxpayers any money – because it will be Fed printing: but that devalues your assets in hand, and so it is a secret tax to bail out the Banksters. Again. Oh, what law are they using here? ROFL! Law! Like that matters. There isn’t any law which allows this – they’re just gonna do it).

Their hope is probably that it at least holds together until after Election Day, 2024.

The MSM is, naturally, asserting that the real problem is people noticing the problem. If we’d just please stick to the script, all will be well!

Tucker Carlson sent of a questionnaire to the major GOP candidates about Ukraine and got their answers back – Trump, DeSantis and Ramaswamy gave the best answers (and we’ll need Amazona for a ruling on him – he’s definitely born in the USA to people who were legally residing in the USA at the time of his birth…but I don’t know if they were citizens when Ramaswamy was born…but, anyways, he’s running: and the more I hear from him, the more I like). All three of them discounted our continuing effort in Ukraine – Trump and Ramaswamy more forcefully than DeSantis, but even RDS was noting how stupid it is to defend Ukraine’s border while ours is wide open. Pence and Christie gave the worst answers – essentially committing to the war with only small caveats about how we’ve done it. A lot of candidates didn’t respond, most notable Haley, who is probably trying to keep all her options open as her actual desire is the VP slot and so she’ll be wary of saying anything that would strike her off the eventual nominee’s list. I think that American popular support for Ukraine is very soft and entirely conditional – as long as Americans don’t feel any particular pinch, they’ll go along with it…but if push comes to shove, the people will reject the war. Better for the GOP candidates to be forthrightly anti-war on this issue.

Hey, Mark, why have you lost all faith in our institutions?

Well, skippy, I just found out that GlaxoSmithKlein hid the cancerous side effects of Zantac for 40 years. 40 years! Do you realize how many agencies in how many different nations had to be bribed to pull that off? The payoffs to bureaucrats, doctors and researchers must have reached astonishing levels – but I guess Zantac was such a money-maker that it was all worth it. To them. Not to anyone who got cancer because they wanted to cut down on heartburn. It staggers the mind when you really think about it – for 40 years a major drug company pushed poison on people and all the probably millions of people around the world who are paid to guard against precisely this…let it slide. And do note that I just heard of this – the report came out last month. When it suits the DNC/Ruling Class Narrative stories of a product causing cancer get 24/7 coverage…but for some reason this one seems to have slipped the MSM’s mind. Couldn’t be because right now Democrats are making bank on Big Pharma donations, could it?

Democrats are real close to becoming cartoon characters. Their cultural views and refusal to accept responsibility for anything has them firmly planted in prepubescency …and on the decline.

The narrative this morning is that without government regulations, which Trump did, banks will fail, because of course bankers are incompetent criminals who need supervision from young woke politicians like Katie Porter and and old Native Americans like Elizabeth Warren. So now we have trains derailing, planes nearly colliding, and banks collapsing all because Trump deregulated those industries and Democrats are trying to “save the day”. Sound cartoonish enough?

Ronaldo Maximus Reagan once said that if socialism were to come to America, it would come in the form of healthcare. And in 2020, that arrived. My current trust in the medical industry is zero, and my trust in big pharma is less than that. Turn on the tv at any point during the day and you will be subject to at least a few ads of big pharma selling you poison. The US Government has already warned us of the next plandemic, and do you see any PSA’s on living a healthy lifestyle? Exercising? Eating right? Nope. Or ask yourself this … how many elementary schools has the US Government secured since Uvalde?

Your government doesn’t care about you.

A “regulation” is not by definition a bad thing. It depends on the regulation. For example, the social engineering regulations on banks back in the 2000s opened up the ability for radical groups to hamstring banks through claims of racial discrimination, hobbling them and forcing them to lend money to people who obviously could not afford the loans just so they could continue to function. They did this through the development of adjustable rate mortgages, and we remember how that turned out. (The Republican president got blamed for the resulting economic meltdown, with the shrill Agenda Media energetically providing cover by refusing to address the underlying cause, which was social engineering regulation.)

The EPA has functioned as a legislative body for years, ever since Clinton gave it that authority in an Executive Order, creating regulations that were Draconian and which interfered with property rights, state sovereignty and economic development.

Contrary to the screeching of the Left, “deregulation” does not mean getting rid of all regulations. That’s just a tactic they use to try to preserve the ones that advance Leftist agendas.

This just in … MSNBC is saying that those who don’t fully support Biden’s Ukraine war are dangerous. So unless you’re not fully prepared to protect Ukraine’s borders and regime change in Russia, you’re a danger to democracy. Understand? LOL, that’s as cartoonish as it gets.

TEXAS FATHER SUES THREE WOMEN FOR HELPING HIS EX-WIFE SECURE CHEMICAL ABORTION

Under the Texas Heartbeat Act, private citizens are permitted to file civil suits against abortionists or anyone who “knowingly engages in conduct that aids or abets the performance or inducement of an abortion.”

It will be interesting to see how this plays out now that Texas has a mechanism in place that allows for such suits, and what the ramifications will be to the defendants. Depending on how the court rules, this could be significant in deterring attempts to circumvent the law and changing the general mindset on abortions.

Among the screenshots from the group texts, Silva’s ex-wife expressed concern about telling her husband, claiming he “would try to act like he [had] some right to the decision.”

It’s this kind of attitude that has placed fathers in the worst possible corner. The courts (rightfully) force fathers to take a level of responsibility for the child’s financial needs if the mother decides to give birth, while at the same time, almost always removes any recourse to save the baby’s life in the case where the woman decides to terminate the baby’s life against the father’s wishes. This is a totally contradictory stance, but whoever said elective abortion or courts needed to be sane.

I’m glad to see this. I am always seeing efforts to excuse abortion go to “then force men to pay child support” and I always reply that a man should have full responsibility from the time he reaches for his zipper—but that includes the right to protect his child from being killed.

    Jonathan Turley’s latest piece …

I previously wrote about how few people in Washington are eager to expose the influence peddling by the Biden family. Influence peddling is the cottage industry of Washington. However, even by the corrupt standards of this city, the Bidens took influence peddling to an unprecedented level in raking in millions from foreign interests, including some with alleged ties to foreign intelligence.

I’m starting to think that SVB was nothing more than a political money laundering operation – any real bank can hire people with banking experience. We do have a lot of them, right? And some who are pretty good at it while still being willing to go along with woke BS…but if your bank is only there to launder cash, you don’t want a banker…nobody who knows risk; because if you have such, they’ll quickly see that your operation is bull.

Probably not something you could take to court yet, but if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s probably a duck.

The problem is that there are people on both sides of the aisle whose hands are dirty and they’ll do anything to prevent the truth from getting out.

      • Mark Noonan March 15, 2023 / 3:36 pm

Yep. I was watching that Netflix documentary about the MH370; aside from covering the technical aspects of it, the show also went into the various theories people hold over the disappearance and the bottom line is that the “conspiracy theories” gain traction because public faith in government, any government, is just about gone. We assume they are lying to us – now, why anyone would want to lie about plane crash is the mystery but you can figure lots of reasons, most of them to do with financial and reputational risks to those in charge of the system (personally, I think it was the pilot committing murder/suicide…it was a nearly 180 degree turn to head to the Adaman Sea and I can’t see a plane with, say, unconscious pilots making a turn like that).

What we’ve learned over the years is that those in charge of any institution are most concerned about protecting themselves, their friends and their deals. They don’t give the slightest damn about what happens to anyone else and they’ll bald face state even the most ridiculous lies if that is what is necessary at the moment to deflect blame away from themselves. We’ve been told that SVB had to be made whole to protect a series of small businesses…and that gives the impression that its Joe’s Plumbing we’re riding to rescue. And who wouldn’t want to help old Joe out? He’s a working man with a payroll to meet.

But what it now very much looks like is we’re riding to the rescue of a group of highly connected financial supporters of the woke Climate Religion who have been making bank off all the green and diversity bullsh** the Ruling Class is using as their excuse to steal from the productive economy.

Woke, Broke Silicon Valley Bank Gave $73.5M to BLM: Claremont Institute

Black Lives Matter has received $82.9 billion from corporate donors, according to the database.

It really isn’t all that hard to connect SVG and BLM, along with a number of other leftist institutions. Brandon will follow Obama’s lead, propping up failed institutions, use tax payers money to do it. This is why leftist inner cities and states will ultimately falter. Their policies cannot be sustained without stealing it from capitalist monies.

You know, I think it’s interesting that when God wants to judge a nation He uses wicked rulers like we have now. Who knows, He could bring a leader to power in America much more evil than we have now. Someone similar to Xi Ping in China.

I think a lot of this stems from the fact that, people are asleep, and think, “Oh that’ll never happen here.” They throw their hand up in the air, and swat like they’re swatting at a fly, and go about their merry way. Then one day they wake up, and ask themselves “where am I?” “This is America, right?” And the answer is, well, yeah, sorta…but not anymore, there’s Her tombstone. Look, I’m the distance there, a big red flag waving in the wind with a yellow hammer and sickle as its symbol.

I can’t believe my eyes as the tears begin to fall, Oh my child, my child what have I done!

That’s what happens when the people fall asleep. They can’t understand how this could happen in county that has enjoyed its freedom for over two centuries.

God in His righteous indignation, has ways of bringing very undesirable leaders to power, for nations who have turned aside from following Him with all their heart, soul, and mind.

The German church fell asleep in circa 1920’s-30s thought that could ever happen to Germany. Until Hitler took power.

Time and time again throughout history, kings and leaders have either fell away from God or they never obeyed God to start with, causing the nations to sin, and allowing sin to rule over the hearts of the people.

I’m not hoping for America’s failure, what I hope for is that people will turn from their idolatry, and serve the Lord. That we might be spared the attacks of our enemies. We just need to pray and seek God’s face, and hope we don’t get ruled over by an iron fisted tyrant.

Just like they shut down the ballot counting in Nov. of 2020, they also created an emergency shut down of the certification ….

Just moments, literally 3 minutes before two representatives issued a vote for motions to suspend the certification, the House members were “informed” by capitol police and other “agents” that a protest was about to breach the chambers. It was at this time that key people: Pence, Pelosi, Schumer, Mcconnell can be seen being walked out and escorted from the chamber. This effectively halted the Entire Chamber Process…

These motherfuckers stole the election and I am tired of everyone pretending they didn’t.

I’m curious as to what those on this site think “woke” means? The first time I heard the term was on this site and it seems to be used to describe anything you don’t like. Why is this a question you are afraid of?

    • Mark Noonan March 16, 2023 / 3:03 am

Woke is a system of social privileges assigned based on ever-shifting yet ruthlessly enforced victim statuses.

      • Cluster March 16, 2023 / 9:11 am

No cash bail is a privilege given to criminals.Open borders is a privilege given to illegal immigrants. Equity hires are privileges given to woke millennials with no appreciative skills. Competing in women’s sports is a privilege given to Democrat men who think they are women … etc., etc. haven’t you been paying attention?

      • Cluster March 16, 2023 / 9:14 am

Defining woke is easy – emotionally challenged, whiny, narcissistic, trophy generation millennials who contribute nothing to society and are not worth the air they breathe. How’s that?

      • casper3031 March 16, 2023 / 9:21 pm

Former Republican Joe Walsh defines woke as “Woke is waking up to, becoming aware of, and gaining empathy for real & systemic racism & injustices.” To me it’s just about having empathy for others. Apparent ly that scares the right so you need to make up all sorts of things to make it sound bad.

I still follow this site because it has always been one of the early sites to pass on Rightwing talking points. This was the first place I heard about BLM, CRT, and a number of other things you have been told to hate.

BTW, even a clueless nincompoop like me is able to figure out that BLM has never received 83 billion dollars from various corporations. https://apnews.com/article/government-and-politics-race-ethnicity-philanthropy-black-lives-matter-5bc4772e029da522036f8ad2a02990aa

      • Mark Noonan March 16, 2023 / 11:03 pm

You cite the AP as if that’s something better than The Weekly World News.

Anyways…Walsh is a former Republican for a reason. Same reason Kristol and French are former Republicans: rich liberals leave the money on the nightstand.

And that is why he pushes drivel like that. Anyone can see that of course black Americans don’t collectively have as much wealth as they otherwise would have absent slavery and Jim Crow. Any person can also acknowledge that this disparity can and should be redressed. But only a con artist is going to tell a 20 year old white kid from Mobile, AL (median income 43k) that he’s privileged in relation to a 20 year old black kid from Alexandria, VA (median income 103k). Nor would other than a liar say that gays (median household income 116.8k) income are oppressed (American median household income 70.7k). And only a really lousy and stupid liar would say there is a “pay gap” between men and women when it has been illegal to pay women less for the same work for 60 years.

Just where is all this systemic oppression? It isn’t anywhere. America is not racist. It is not sexist. It is not homophobic. There are things to work on, but none of the things the woke care about are even problems.

      • Amazona March 17, 2023 / 9:13 am

More of that “scared” crap. Get over yourselves. You are so gullible you fall for every airy-fairy gobbeldygook you are fed. Naturally there is going to be a sunshine and lollipops “definition” of “woke”, just like there is one for “socialism”.

But if you want to talk about being “scared” then let’s look at what scares the Left. That is, that most people don’t give a rat’s behind about race. We work with each other, socialize with each other, date each other, marry each other, make mixed-race children with each other, and don’t obsess about melanin content in anyone’s skin. But that kind of world doesn’t offer the conflict and divisiveness the Left needs to get a toehold in a culture, so it works very very hard to invent all sorts of crises and divisions to splinter us and turn us against each other, and Stalin’s “useful idiots” obediently help out, suckered in by the sense of being on the short cut to the Higher Moral Ground.

Piously babble about “empathy” and “equity” and “social justice” and you can smugly consider yourself morally superior, even while you support and enable a brutal and inhuman political model that has always resulted in economic misery, loss of liberty and often the slaughter of millions. You don’t pay attention to the monster because he is wearing a smiley face and telling you he is “anti-racist”. And you squealing little lemmings go “Ooooh! ANTI RACIST ! That is so, like, so VIRTUOUS!”

You’re so deep in your smugness you automatically dismiss any analysis of the defects of your reasoning as “fear”. “Oh, look at them! They fear our virtue!” you assure each other in your circle jerks of mutual assurance of your own specialness, while you contribute to the cancer that eats societies alive.

And you are so lacking in self awareness you actually provide “sources” like the AP to prop up your delusions.

      • Amazona March 17, 2023 / 9:45 am

things (we) have been told to hate”? Well, aren’t you just the snarkiest pursed-lipped scold ever? And so funny, though of course totally unaware of the humor of someone like you claiming that people who recognize the defects of the various systems you support and defend had to be “told to hate” them, instead of merely having the intellect to see through the flimsy trappings of virtue that impress you people.

BLM and CRT are virulently and blatantly racist and anti-American. And you claim that some agency somewhere had to TELL us to HATE them? First, do try to edit the feelz out of your screeds. Just because you and your kind operate on emotions doesn’t mean normal people do, too. So let’s scrap the word “hate” and act like adults here.

Even the most cursory examinations of BLM and CRT prove, without a shadow of a doubt, both their racism as well as their agenda to undermine and eventually destroy this country. You have either not been bothered to make such an examination or you have and find yourself in agreement with their principles and goals.

      • Amazona March 17, 2023 / 10:59 am

Read this entire thread on defining “woke” and more importantly on the resistance to identifying aspects of Leftist ideology because identifying them makes it easier to target them. Read the passages on zebras and the long dissertation at the end.

      • casper3031 March 17, 2023 / 12:18 am

If you are going to compare income it would probably be a good idea to compare people from the same area. Over all household income for the country is $70,784 while the household income for blacks is $48,297. Seems like something that should be addressed. And in spite of the laws women still earn about ten thousand a year less than men. There are issues that should be addressed.

      • Amazona March 17, 2023 / 9:30 am

Seems like something that should be addressed.

And here we go, on the giddy Leftist merry-go-round again. “This feels wrong, so something should be done.” And it stops there, without going into the uncomfortable and often messy analysis of what IS “wrong”.

So the Left shies away from the facts that explain their smug and clueless recitation of statistics. Why is the household income for blacks, overall, lower than for whites? Left hanging like that, the Left would leave us to make the assumptions they make—that equally qualified black and white people compete for the same jobs and whites get more of those jobs than blacks. So examine that assumption. Is it true? Does the fact that a majority of black children grow up without a father in the home have anything to do with growing up motivated to work for a living? Does role modeling of parents who work have any influence on children? Do more white parents try to offset the horrible effects of our public “education” by reading to their children and discussing things than black parents? Does a culture in which achievement in school is denigrated as “acting white” have an effect on educational development and qualifications to earn more money?

Perhaps the “something that should be addressed” is the cultural speed bumps the black community has put up to hamper the possibility of success for its young people. Perhaps the “something that should be addressed” is the black culture of not just accepting but condoning illegitimate births, leaving millions of children in one-parent homes and poverty.

Perhaps the “something that should be addressed” would be a movement to take into black communities the three rules that nearly guarantee financial independence: Finish high school, don’t get married till after you finish high school, and don’t have children till after you are married.

Women who do the same work as men, with the same commitment to their jobs, make as much as men do. This has been proved over and over again for years. But when silly lemmings like you ignore facts, ignore research, and just obediently parrot the Leftist talking points fed to you by your political masters, we’ll keep hearing the same nonsense.

      • Amazona March 17, 2023 / 9:51 am

It’s not a word I use regularly, but to me it describes people who place a higher value on Leftist socio-political paradigms than they do on common sense and practicality.

    • Amazona March 16, 2023 / 12:00 pm

What is it with you smug Lefties and your conviction that we are “afraid of” you? I guess it’s just part of that narcissism that is such a part of the Left’s assumption of moral and intellectual superiority—what in the real world is known as “delusion”.

Are you seriously claiming that you have never heard the term till you saw it here, and that you actually think it just describes things “we don’t like”? I mean, Casper, you have worked very very hard over the years to create and fill in and expand on your image of being a clueless nincompoop, but this is just too much.

“Woke” is another of those mangled words that is associated with the illiterate/activist mentality, and it appeared as used by the Left to describe its alleged increased awareness of the evils/oppressions by (pick one, or more…) America, Republicans, the Constitution, white people, etc etc etc. A linguistic shortcut to “we have awakened” geared to the barely literate. Not “we are now awake” because that would be bending the knee to the white supremacy of education and literacy, but “we woke now”.

The Right picked up on it and has been using it as a term of ridicule, which is appropriate, as it’s a stupid non-word used by stupid people to describe a stupid attitude. But, like the Reverend Jackson’s old scam of extorting money from companies by threatening to “expose” them as racist, it has been used as a shortcut for corporations in particular to virtue signal by dumping billions of dollars into radical Leftist coffers in efforts to avoid being branded with any of the pejoratives hurled by the Left. It boils down to a massively expanded, very elaborate, modern version of admiring the emperor’s new clothes, only in this case the “woke” try to impress each other with how many examples of racism and oppression they can find in how many places.

So we have seen once-respected corporations beclowning themselves as they contort themselves into more and more elaborate illustrations of how “woke” they are. We see Disney pandering to the radical Left by bragging about its agenda of grooming young children into early sexual activity and gender denial. We see the Hyatt company daring Florida to do anything about its disgusting insistence on parading deviant sexual imagery and actions in front of young children. We see companies like Coca-Cola featuring ‘trans” people, and/or supporting silliness like letting men who pretend to be women compete against real women.

And we see the increasing backlash against this kind of foolishness, especially in Florida, where Governor DeSantis has openly declared war on the “woke” agendas. Disney lost the huge advantages given to the company decades ago, that basically let it establish itself as its own little nation inside Florida, with its own taxation and building codes and so on. Now it’s on equal footing with other companies, and doesn’t like it. Hyatt can no longer sell liquor in hotels that defied state law and had drag shows allowing children, shows featuring degenerate sexual attitudes and behaviors. State officials have been fired for imposing their own political agendas over the laws. Schools aren’t allowed to indoctrinate young children into early and often deviant sexual activity.

DeSantis has proudly proclaimed that Florida is where woke goes to die. Unlike many politicians, he works diligently at keeping his word. That, more than anything, is what makes those opposed to him fear him.

The “woke” movement has had what I am sure is an unexpected benefit to the country—it has given Americans a way to fight back, by crippling companies who support it and getting rid of officials who promote it.

      Pay attention

BLM is just another money laundering op

Second Dude (AKA Mr. Kamala Harris) has ‘splained some stuff to us (inadvertently illustrating what the two have in common. That is, of course, that lovely combination of utter cluelessness with the smug assumption of the authority to lecture others.)

On Wednesday, Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, said in remarks that the hatred that led to the Holocaust is “interconnected” to the “hatred” from parents who are speaking out in the United States at school board meetings.

One of the comments was classic: Gee, I never knew before that what really pissed the NAZIs off was the Jews wanting their children to be properly educated.

He goes on, ignoring the Rule of Holes, to lecture us ‘Cause you can’t be in leadership if you’re not going to lead. Remember, this is the man married to Kamala Harris!

When I saw the headline Mitt Romney Gets Into Heated Exchange With Biden Official Over Social Security all I could picture was a slapfight. Romney being “heated” just does not compute, unless you are talking about needing a lace hanky to mop a fevered brow after a stint of pandering.

Actually, he seems to have done a decent job, but I just couldn’t get past that headline.

Lefty corporations to Ron DeSantis: “You can’t tell us what to do. What are you going to do about it?”

    Ron DeSantis: “Hold my beer”

    • Cluster March 16, 2023 / 12:43 pm

LOL. And for how many years have Democrats wanted corporations to “pay their faire share of taxes”?? And now that DeSantis is actually making that happen, the Left has their panties in a bunch. Everything is Orwellian now.

      • Amazona March 16, 2023 / 12:57 pm

Keep in mind that when the vast majority of Democrats make demands, such as “make them pay their fair share” they do so from a position of abject ignorance of reality. as we have shown here for about three decades, the Democrats who want to shout out their feelz in public are reduced to stuttering evasions when asked to explain the structure and political philosophy of the model they represent.

So no wonder they are baffled when they get something they thought they wanted only to find out it isn’t what they were told it would be.

DeSantis is also saying a law is a law, and violators will suffer consequences. This is what you get when you elect an attorney firmly based in the Constitution and the law.

I’m listening to his book and it’s one orderly presentation of facts after another. Buy the book. Listen to it in your car if you don’t feel like reading it. Anyone we elect ought to be required to show both understanding and agreement with its principles.

Is it just me, or is the Democrat Party continuing to devolve into child like territory? These are not adults … as proven by Casper’s light and airy definition of who he is as WOKE. This is child like thinking.

One of the linguistic games played by the Left is the claim that some men believe they ARE women. No, some men WANT to be women. There is a huge difference.

And we now live in a world where the concept of “identifying” has become accepted, so it isn’t a huge leap for the delusional to take that a step farther and believe that identifying as a woman can and will make it so.

I thought Bruce Jenner summed up the confusion and conflict when he was asked, in his Caitlin persona, if the woman Caitlin was attracted to men, and the response was a strong “no”. It was clear that to this “woman” being attracted to a man would mean homosexuality.

The Caitlin persona went on to explain attraction to women, but was careful to explain this did not indicate homosexuality

“gender AFFIRMING care”—more of the Left’s manipulation of the language. Like calling abortion “health care”.

They try so hard to scrub the ugly out of their descriptions but it’s always there.

Curious what the pass / fail rate of the class level standardized tests are in Ohio? Wonder if anyone will keep track of the test scores in the next few years to see the value / harm utilizing a 4 day week?

Hey, we just saw some posts from casper…..it’s like lack of self awareness is a defining characteristic of the Left

Heard a few minutes on the radio yesterday of someone asking Yellen (I think it was Yellen) if this doesn’t mean smaller banks will have trouble getting depositors because they can’t provide the security of bigger banks and she mumbled and stumbled and finally said that is not the intent but it seems to be working that way.

There seems to be nothing the government (or at least this administration) can’t screw up.

Anyone who is “devoutly Christian”, is probably not Christian at all. I despise this man

Mike Pence implies that Trump is a fake Christian during speech to room full of journalists … Former Vice President Mike Pence, who has hinted he’s gearing up for a 2024 run at the presidency, is likely to make his devout Christian faith a key component of his campaign.

Poor Mike. He’s really burning through all that respect he built up over the years.
