Since the media has made the GOP race a contest between Gingrich and Romney it is clear that Cain could only endorse one of them. Since neither Gingrich or Romney is a fiscal or social conservative it makes no difference at this point.
For those who don’t understand why some of the GOP candidates are less than ideal in the eyes of the American voter, consider the following sequence of events:

In addition to drilling, we need to build new refineries. America currently has roughly 150 refineries, down from over 300 in the 1970s. Due mainly to environmental regulations, we haven’t built a major new refinery since 1976, though our oil consumption has increased significantly since then. That’s no way to secure our energy supply. The post-Katrina jump in gas prices proved that we can’t leave ourselves at the mercy of a hurricane that knocks a few refineries out of commission.

Demand for gas has dropped nearly 10% in recent years. It went from a peak of 9.6 million barrels a day in 2007 to 8.8 million barrels today, according to the EIA.
SO, candidate A says jump in gas prices from an uncommon event make it clear we need new refineries, this becomes a right wing meme, based on the unchecked meme the refineries ask for tax cuts WHEN SURPRISE they are actually exporting a record amount of gasoline.

Here’s the truth of the matter; in 2007 oil refineries were boosting to over 90% of capacity, in some cases for some periods as much as 95% of capacity. Producing at that capacity has intrinsic problems, not the least of which is the cost. Because the refineries are old and in bad need of updating the cost of production rises in a geometric progression as capacity is reached.

Oh yeah, i forgot to address #2; The refineries want the tax breaks in exchange for buying Government mandated pollution-controlling equipment. Kinda sucks that the government requires it, offers tax incentives, then AP reports the EVILE oil companies comply.

So Stool wants us to believe that neither Gingrich or Romney are sufficiently conservative enough to gain our vote. Kind of like GMB. Oh if only there was that perfect candidate that fit within the narrow confines that liberals and GMB have established – what’s a mother to do?
As everyone here knows, I’m not a big Newt fan. I admire the guy’s intellect and debating skills, but agree with Senator Tom Coburn’s assertion on Fox New Sunday yesterday that (stemming from Coburn’s 4 years in the House during Speaker Gingrich’s tenure) Newt’s leadership skills are, I think the word he used was “lacking”, but I could be mistaken. All that said, there is only one candidate in the field that has a record of successfully leading an effort to shrink the size of the Federal Government — Newt Gingrich. I could live with him as the GOP nominee, and I’d have to hold my nose less tightly to vote for him than I did for McCain in 2008. I don’t believe he has the skills or core principles necessary to be anything more than a transitional President, but it’s either that or re-elect a President who is almost sure to put the pedal to the metal during a second term. I don’t think the country survives that, at least not in a state that anyone recognizes. I don’t want to leave that legacy to my descendants.
It wouldn’t surprise me in the least to see a replay of 2004 with Gingrich pulling a Dean and Romney winning the nomination by default. Newt may now do the scream, but he’s fully capable of pulling off something equally as destructive to his credibility.
I don’t disagree with that – Newt has the ability to self destruct, but at this point, I am ok with either Newt or Mitt. At the very least those two can win, and that is paramount. As Spook said, Obama will go full throttle if he wins another four years, and considering the damage he has done in three years, I can’t even imagine what he would do with another term.
It is funny that that Cain imploded for doing less cheating than Newt. Family values and all that made up republican pap.
If I am correct, no allegation has been substantiated yet on Cain, it’s just heresay at this point, and he has denied it. So the question is bloody, why do you jump to conclusion that he did cheat? Is it because he is black? Are you a racist bloody?

Wallace, what makes you think Nazis were not liberals? Liberals still tow the Nazi party line as much today, as they did during Hitler’s day. Only the liberals during Hitler’s day had more control, and therefore the freedom to implement the destructive actions of liberalism on a more liberal basis, abortion for example…it was not a “choice” for women then, they were forced to do an abortion for a sick experiment, and the ovens there in Auschwitz burned around the clock disposing of the bodies of babies freshly taken from their mother’s womb. And this is what liberals in America want today despite their ever-readiness to deny such fact. Redistribution of wealth is just another in a long line of examples to prove that liberals are still as much Nazis today as they were during Hitler’s day. But despite Hitler and his atrocious regime, it is the father of communism that inspires the left in our day and age, Karl Marx, which inspired many of the renowned communist dictators of the past, some of the most brutal in all of history.
As has been said, here, before, and I will re-iterate upon that same note…we (God-fearing, Bible-abiding, Patriotic, Gun-loving Americans) must recapture academia if we are to save America. Academia is where a country is constructed…and where a country is destroyed. The first object of education should be to learn that book which America was founded upon, the Bible.

That is what has happened here. You claim “history has put Nazism on the right.” History? No the left has put Nazism on the right – academia, revisionists, etc.. Germany was socialist and Marxist country. It is amazing that the rhetoric Hitler threw around and his writings could be called “right wing”. Let me educate you wally. In 1920, the German government was overthrown in a coup d’etat by the army and established a strong right wing government.
It was this against this government that Hitler had failed in the beer putsch of 1923, in which he was imprisoned. From there he began writing his Mein Kampf and the rest is history.
The Marxists he wrote against were the CIVILIAN BUREAUCRAT MARXISTS that he blamed for losing WWI and not all marxists. IF he hated all marxists and was right wing, then why did he join the Socialist Workers’ Party, try to overthrow the established right wing government and demand a revolution for the workers of Germany? (Hmmmm, many left wing Marxist and Socialist slogans in there.)
