Somehow, I feel, that this will be a Mittens, Gingrich, Santorum (and of course Paul) finish but I do not see it as the finish of the GOP primary. Still looking for a brokered convention, or at least a Santorum gain over the next few primaries / caucuses before Super Tuesday.
Would really like all states (without Federal intervention) to decide on a single date for all primaries & elections so those of us after Super Tuesday might still have a voice.

Agreed, and I would also like to see all repub primaries and caucusus go to a proportional delagate system. Right now there is absolutely no reason why Rick Santorum should be campaining in Florida. Which I think does a disservice to the voters.
RetiredSpookJanuary 30, 2012 / 10:11 pm
I disagree. A single date primary would make campaigning next to impossible, particularly for smaller states with few delegates, which would just be ignored. I think a better option would be to have, say, 6 primary dates, ie. the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of January, February and March. The first year positions would be picked by lottery, and, in subsequent election cycles, rotate the positions, so that the March states would move up to January, January to February and February to March, and so on.
Representatives of one of the Florida colleges that does extensive polling was on O’Reilly about an hour ago. He said there were some areas of Florida where Romney was over 50%, with Gingrich in the mid-20’s. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 20 point Romney win tomorrow. Romney finally appears to have some fire in his belly, and it shows.
I think the only way we get a strong conservative candidate this time around is if Romney and Gingrich damage each other so badly that either Santorum wins by default or it goes to a brokered convention. I actually would love to see a brokered convention where the party coalesces around someone who can not only unite the party but who catches the Dem attack and smear machine so totally by surprise that in the 11th hour they simply can’t respond.

with THAT line up I GUARANTEE you I and my whole family will sit it out.
I look for Romney to get 45% or better of the vote in tomorrow evening’s final tally. The reason for this, is that he’s run a dirty campaign in the Florida area smearing the other candidates, especially Newt Gingrich with his ads. I mean, this is as much his fault as anyone’s, whether the established funneled the millions to him or not, he’s chosen to take the dirty road. I hate that it’s happened this way, but who else are ya gonna vote for…heck, Santa clause ain’t even on the ballot this year.
On a more positive note, I think Santorum will follow close behind Mitt, and will poll well, but not well enough. I look for Newt or Santorum either one to drop out after tomorrow. Paul will definitely drop out, I ‘magine he’s gettin’ pretty slim on funds to keep goin’.
Impact?
Hate to say it, but I look for Obama to get re-elected. This is good for the atheists, the abortionists, the homosexuals, the commies, the socialists, et al. But for the country as a whole, it’s not so good.
Well, it appears after listening to this morning’s news, and hearing both Gingrich and Santorum speak on their place in the continuation of this race, that neither will drop out just yet, and will continue on to the Nevada caucuses.
I wish the both of them good luck!

Considering what happened in Iowa, Gingrich left for dead with a fifth place finish in New Hampshire, left alone and resurrecting in South Carolina; no chance taken in Florida, Romney outspends Gingrich five to one.
Simplistically, in business like fashion, Romney is buying this nomination. Considering the Obama campaign won’t be about his record but about Republicans, Wall Street and the Republican “1%” candidate and how he won the nomination. Looks like 4 more years.

I think I have consisntantly stated here that even Mr. Romney will beat barky in November. I still believe this to be true.
Enthusiasm for barky is low. Very low on the donkyrat side of the isle. He has the rrl types lined up behind him and not much else. The dissatisfaction amoung the so called independents with barky is very high. The economy is still in horrible shape and no amount of donkyrat propaganda and number fudging can change that reality.
barky himself has given the repubs enoungh ammunition for a competent campaign to beat him. Even a master of the flip flop like Mr.Romney will win agaist him.
And then there is Hillary. If there is one thing I understand about the Clintons, it is that Hillary is driving force behind them. She is a spiteful vengeful bitch, politically, by all accounts. Every dirty trick barky has pulled on the repub party in the last three years was pulled on her first during the 2008 campaign season.

GMB,
Surprise! I’m going to agree with you almost 100%. A lot depends on what happens to the European economy between now and November. If the Europeans can keep the ball in the air until after our election, the race might be close. If the European economy crashes before November, our stock market crashes, we have a run on banks, particularly the ones that are heavily invested in European bank stock and European debt, and Barry and the Boyz will be lucky if they escape with their lives, much less get re-elected. Hillary is the one part of the mix that I just don’t have a good feel for. She has said publicly that when she leaves this administration that is the end of politics for her — but the Clintons tend to lie, so take her statement for what it’s worth. I agree that, as a parting shot, she might put one squarely below BHOzo’s water line.

There is no way that Mitt can win the General Election and with the massive amounts of enthusiasm his nomination will not bring, it will hurt down ticket greatly.
GMB, the support for President Obama by Democrats and the left is 80% according to the last poll I saw. Do you have more relevant information than just your opinion?
As to your degradation of Hillary Clinton, calling her a “spiteful, vengeful bitch” – that is a typical conservative attitude. This intelligent, thoughtful and highly respected woman has done an amazing job as Secretary of State. What woman on the right is as highly regarded and respected as Secretary Clinton? You show your ignorance and bias when you make such statements. The right’s attitude toward women and disrespectful behavior toward the President is what will contribute to the loss of votes in the upcoming elections. I believe that most Americans are truly sick and tired of such behavior. In your little corner of the world it is widely accepted and cheered but most Americans are decent humans who find such behavior a real turn off.
Chrissy AnnJanuary 31, 2012 / 11:35 am
Yeah because the left’s attitude towards women especially Conservative women is so loving. And the left never disrespected Bush..not one little bit.
Chrissy Ann, there is no comparison between how President Bush was treated and how right wing conservatives have treated President Obama. There were harsh words against President Bush’s policies, and especially taking the US to war in Iraq, but never the level of disrespect showered upon President Obama. As to Hillary Clinton, she does not deserve to be called a bitch by any right wing supporter. It is so disrespectful to a woman who has worked exceedingly hard for this country the last three years and deserves respect for that hard work. I have never heard anyone on the left be that disrespectful to Secretary Rice or Laura Bush (as opposed to Michelle Obama.) You can spin it all you want, but the right, for all their “family values” and “Christian values”, are without out a doubt beyond the pale in their hatred.

Limbaugh, Hannity Protest Racist Attacks on Rice
Led by the nation’s number one radio host Rush Limbaugh, America’s conservative talkers blasted a series of cartoons on Wednesday that used racist stereotypes to attack Secretary of State nominee Dr. Condoleezza Rice.
“You have to see these [cartoons] to appreciate the pure racism, bigotry, and grotesqueness, as well as the prejudice that’s involved,” Limbaugh fumed, referring to caricatures of Dr. Rice that have appeared recently in the Washington Post and New York Times.
In one Pat Oliphant cartoon carried by the Post, Rice is drawn as a parrot with thick protruding lips and buck teeth, echoing her boss in subservient tones.
In a Jeff Danziger cartoon from last fall, Rice is shown as “Gone With The Wind” star Butterfly McQueen, nursing aluminum tubes instead of a baby as she says in an Amos n’ Andy accent: “I Knows All About Aluminum Tubes.”
Danizger is syndicated by the New York Times.
A third cartoon from a recent Gary Trudeau “Doonesbury” strip has President Bush admonishing Dr. Rice with the words, “Careful, Brown Sugar.”
“If the truth be known here,” Limbaugh told his audience, “J. William Fulbright and the Dixiecrats from the Old South who opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 have come back to life, and they live and breathe in the Washington Post editorial page as a cartoon. They live and breathe in the panels of Doonesbury. They live and breathe at editorial pages of the New York Times . . . . and wherever else Condoleezza Rice is being besmirched and
impugned today.”

She is a spiteful vengeful bitch, politically, by all accounts.
No truer, or funnier, words have ever been said. Great line.
I don’t enjoy the current tone of the primary and will agree that the attacks on Newt have been relentless, but the attacks coming back from Newt are equally damaging, and I would prefer they stick to substance, BUT we can expect these types of personal attacks to come during the general, so the more we air the dirty laundry now, the less surprises the DNC will have during the general. Also, the unusual high number of debates have served to make each candidate a little sharper and quicker on their feet and I have noticed that in every candidate.
I am intrigued by the brokered convention possibility, but would like to ask those who desire it – who would you pick? I honestly can’t think of anyone that wouldn’t have the same, or similar, baggage or obstacles that the current candidates do with the exception of Rubio, who I would certainly support, but would be a little concerned about his experience thus far. In my opinion, conservatives need to think differently – there is so much work to be done to achieve the ultimate goal of a smaller, more efficient and constitutionally based federal government, that it may take two full term presidents, or even a decade to realize, so let’s work with what’s in front of us and plan our strategy accordingly. I could support either Newt or Mitt this time around, and will hold either one accountable. Irrespective of his past, Mitt is taking the right positions now – smaller federal government, more power to the states, and less private market regulations – so let’s hold him accountable on those policies, and those policies alone, and groom the next president to pick the ball up from there. So who would be next? MARCO RUBIO, and this is where the conservative agenda will gain some traction. Once Romney lays the groundwork and we have a healthy economy with a manageable debt, Rubio can go to work on giving the states their constitutional authorities and shaping sensible immigration policies, etc. I think Rubio could be the next great President, and in my opinion, he will run as VP with Romney.
As far as Newt goes – I think Newt wants to be that president that transforms everything in one term and I think that is unrealistic. Newt will try to bite off more than he can chew, and will end up doing a half assed job, with much turmoil in between. I would prefer a more measured and more methodical approach that slowly but surely rebuilds our economy, our culture, our pride and our country.
RetiredSpookJanuary 31, 2012 / 11:01 am
I am intrigued by the brokered convention possibility, but would like to ask those who desire it – who would you pick?
Assuming Santorum isn’t able to stick it out until the convention, he would be a possible compromise candidate, as would Tim Pawlenty. I’m guessing Pawlenty is kicking himself that he couldn’t find a way to stay in past the Iowa Straw Poll. I hate to keep beating this dead horse, but, of all the current, past and potential candidates in the mix in this cycle, Pawlenty had the least baggage, both personal and political, the most solid conservative record of governing in a blue state. He isn’t vulnerable to any of the mud that Mitt and Newt are throwing at each other. He’s a decent communicator, but not particularly flashy or charismatic. He reminds me a lot of Calvin Coolidge, who, upon Harding’s death in August, 1923, picked up the baton and gave us the Roaring Twenties.
The Roaring 20s? Really? Do you recall what happened in 1929?
RetiredSpookJanuary 31, 2012 / 11:19 am
The Roaring 20s? Really? Do you recall what happened in 1929?
Oh, so the 1929 stock market crash, which had nothing to do with Harding’s and Coolidge’s policies, just negated one of the most prosperous decades this country has ever seen? The unemployment rate for the decade of the 20s was around 3%. What happened at the end of the Roaring 90s, and did that negate the prosperity of the 90s? No — didn’t think so.
Yes what happened at the end of the Roaring 90s did negate the prosperity just as it did in 1929. Runaway greed and lack of regulation were the cause both times. Harding and Coolidge were asleep at the switch just as Clinton and Bush were.
dbschmidtJanuary 31, 2012 / 6:23 pm
Of course Diane probably has no recollection of the crash of 1920 which by all aspects was worse than the crash of 1929–difference was Harding and Coolidge kept the government out of the private sector so the economy recovered as it was designed and the roaring 20’s followed. 1929-not so much and a great deal like today which is the “Japan model” of government intervention which has lead them to 20 years of flat-lining.

I agree that he doesn’t have the baggage the others do but honestly, current politics has become a blood sport, and the Obama regime will be merciless. I don’t think Pawlenty has the DNA to withstand the liberal crucification. Look at Diane here on this blog today (I am surprised she hasn’t mentioned the collective word “We” yet). Diane has no capacity to think outside the liberal adulation of The One and will fall upon her knees to vote for this empty suit without one regard to his governance. The Obama regime has not done one thing to put our country on any solid foundation. Obama has spent more than any other first term president, has increased the debt more so than any other president, has alienated our allies, has demonized and polarized Americans, and has not done one thing to address or resolve the drivers of our debt and that is entitlements. Yet Diane, without a brain cell to lean on, disregards these facts and will cast her vote for Obama solely because of some ill conceived perception of compassion. Liberals are absolutely mindless, and we need someone that has the mettle to withstand the stupidity and articulate common sense approaches.

That will require some hard work on everyone’s part but it is sorely needed. This president has pandered to the lowest common denominator and has done nothing to address the real problems this country faces, instead he has exacerbated the problem. We have anemic growth, massive debt and entitlements that still need to be reformed. Not exactly a good record to be reelected on.

EPA ACTIONS IMPACT PRICING OF R-22
Many FRACCA members have received notices directly from suppliers of R-22 that the price for R-22 has skyrocketed from below $200 to more than $300 per 30 pound container (more than 250% increase) and supplies are limited. FRACCA as a state organization has been in communication with national industry associations to receive updates on the reasons behind the increase and any projections on when pricing and availability may stabilize.
Following is a brief history on why the pricing seemingly increased overnight:
At the Federal level, the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) controls the production of HCFCs including R-22 through allowances given to each manufacturer and importer of gases (refrigerants). These controls, as you already know, are to eventually lead to R-22 being completely phased out.
In August last year EPA proposed their adjustment percentage to the allocations for years 2012-2014. However, EPA received data that R-22 was not being depleted as quickly as expected (less usage, larger supply, prices cheaper) which led EPA to consider a more aggressive phase down. That translated means less production and importation of R-22 to a total of only 55 million pounds in 2012 versus approximately 100 million pounds in 2011.
Because EPA rules for import/production allocation are not yet final, it was illegal for a company to produce or import refrigerants into the United States beginning January 1, 2012. The effect was to immediately stop all importation and production for 15 work days in January. EPA recognized the problem and on January 20 issued to producers/importers a “non-enforcement” letter allowing them to restart production within specific guidelines without a penalty.
The uncertainty in the market and lowered supply caused producers and suppliers to limit the amount of R-22 that can be purchased at one time and the decreased supply resulted in price increases from producer to distributer to contractor. That uncertainty will likely continue to impact price volatility until there is an official EPA ruling sometime in mid 2012.

November election +5 Democratic seats in the Senate +36 Democratic seats in the House
Obama defeats Romney 340-198 with 51% of the popular vote to Romney’s 43%.
Romney will take Florida. And I would love to see a single date for all primaries. Why? Because many states don’t get a choice on who to vote for. I want to vote for Santorum, but b/c of the primary dates I won’t get the chance b/c he won’t be on the ballot. It is like all these “numbnuts” (sorry, I couldn’t resist) who want to do away with the electoral college in favor of the popular vote meaning leftist. The middle of the country would completely be ignored b/c one third of the population lives in the Northeast and the next is the left coast.
Single date for primaries is a moot point. Candidates without a strong ground game or radical messages still can’t hold up because they don’t have a large enough cash or support base. Primaries are all about the money more so than the message though it is great to have both. The two best run presidential campaigns in recent memory saw this play out when Clinton won in 1992 and Obama won in 2008.
“In potential Election 2012 matchups, it’s President Obama 47% and Romney 42%. However, if Gingrich is his Republican opponent, the president holds a double-digit lead, 50% to 37% .”

The University of Minnesota’s Smart Politics conducted an analysis on the last 70 State of the Union addresses and found that President Obama’s three addresses have the lowest grade average of any modern president. “Obama’s average grade-level score of 8.4 is more than two grades lower than the 10.7 grade average for the other 67 addresses written by his 12 predecessors,” they conclude. One of the first things they taught us about effective communications in my year-long Logistics Intern Training class was to write at the 6th grade level. Obama and the Left knows that. They are aiming their message at their base and the average American, and doing so in a way that the target voters understand it!
Two points. One, the President doesn’t write his own SOTU speeches and two, the average american reads on a grade level of about 8.5. Had the same report found that Obama’s speeches were over 12 as this snippet is [13.7 on the flesch kincaid scale] they would have noted that he was “talking over the head of everyday Americans.” More old wine in new skins.

Chrissy,
Identity politics is all the liberals have. They can not in any way, shape or form run on their ideas or results, which are all abysmal, so categorizing and blaming other people is their modus operandi.

YAHOO- NEWT KEEPS IT CLASSY
WINDERMERE, Fla.–Next time, Eddie Dillard won’t wear flip-flops.
Dillard, a 29-year-old Ron Paul supporter from this suburb near Orlando, arrived to vote at his precinct at Winderemere Baptist Church early Tuesday morning. Pulling into the parking lot, Dillard noticed a man outside the polling place with a Gingrich sign. He decided to run home, slip into his “Ron Paul Rocks America” T-shirt, grab a “Ron Paul 2012” sign from his garage, and return to give his candidate some representation outside the precinct after he cast his vote.
Dillard found a quiet spot along a sidewalk lined with tiny American flags and held up his sign. Little did he know, Newt Gingrich had chosen that very spot to make his first Primary Day campaign stop.
When Gingrich’s bus pulled up, Dillard stood silently holding his sign and watched the news-media horde swamp the candidate. Gingrich stepped down from the bus and made a beeline for Dillard. He stopped in front of Dillard and his sign and parked himself for a round of handshaking and pictures with voters. The placement couldn’t have been worse. There was Gingrich, standing with his wife Callista at their first event of the day, and a giant Ron Paul sign floated inches from their crowns.
Noticing the awkward optics, Gingrich aides and security personnel swarmed Dillard, trying to intimidate him into moving. One of Gingrich’s security agents stepped in front of him. When Dillard didn’t budge, the agent lifted his heeled shoe over Dillard’s bare foot and dug the back of it into his skin, twisting it side-to-side like he was stomping out a cigarette. Shocked, Dillard kept his ground and took a picture of the agent with his phone, which was quickly knocked out of his hand. Dillard slipped off his flip-flop to pick up the phone with his foot, and a Gingrich supporter kicked the sandal away.
“Don’t kick me!” Dillard said to the man who knocked away his sandal. More members of Gingrich’s security retinue approached, shoving their shoulders and chests in front of him.

For a START
For several years, the Washington Weekly has published a compiled list of alleged crimes in the Clinton administration. Current events quickly make the list incomplete, necessitating updates. The list, now including 33 Clinton appointees, is by no means exhaustive, but does include activities before taking office.</b?
BILL CLINTON
(1) Used State Police for personal purposes.
(2) Directed State Police to fabricate incriminating evidence
against a political opponent: Terry Reed.
(3) Conspired with David Hale and Jim McDougal to defraud the
Small Business Administration.
(4) Was complicit in the shipment of drugs through Arkansas.
(5) Allowed laudering of drug money through ADFA.
(6) Appointed and protected Arkansas Medical Examiner Fahmy Malak
who repeatedly obstructed justice by declaring murders as
"suicides" or "accidents."
(7) Has never accounted for his actions during 40 days behind the
Iron Curtain during the Vietnam War.
(8) Tipped off Governor Tucker about upcoming criminal referral.
(9) Violated Arkansas campaign finance laws.
(10) Violated his oath ofoffice to uphold the Constitution by
signing into law an ex post facto law, a retroactive tax
increase.
It looks like Newt is self destructing. He is blaming everything and everbody but himself for his poor prefromance in Florida.

In total, they have 99 delegates- 91 electoral delegates, 3 party leaders and 5 bonus delegates
They will restore them to 99 there is a hispanic law suit filed the GOP will capitulate.
I thought swiss banks and bankers we a no no? This man has continually provided enough ammo for a competant opposition. LOL I just killed my own argument.
Would really like all states (without Federal intervention) to decide on a single date for all primaries & elections so those of us after Super Tuesday might still have a voice.
yup
Agreed, and I would also like to see all repub primaries and caucusus go to a proportional delagate system. Right now there is absolutely no reason why Rick Santorum should be campaining in Florida. Which I think does a disservice to the voters.

The Republicans are doing a superb job of smearing each other, don’t you think? Who do you think could unite the party? Santorum?
Okay Spook–that sounds a lot better than my idea and solves my issue with moving from Florida to NC where I have found out what it feels like to no longer count in the national primaries. I still spend more time and energy at the local and State levels but would like my vote to count in the national as well.

romney/christie
with THAT line up I GUARANTEE you I and my whole family will sit it out.
Romulin and Rubio or West, we will vote for them.
Here is what Mark Levin said last Friday about what has been done to Gingrich:
http://www.therightscoop.com/mark-levin-newt-did-more-for-the-conservative-movement-than-virtually-all-of-his-critics-today/
Look for Hillary to get her revenge. A torpedo aimed squarly at ss barky. It will be aimed and timed to do the maximum damage.
GMB,
Spook, GMB
IF romulin picks Rubio or West as VP then he has a chance to beat the Ochimpster.
He is still the GOP’s mcLame and even Sarah couldnt save his sorry ass.
It doesn’t matter if he picks Palin, I ain’t voting for Romneycare in the General Election.
Neo, it is my opinion that if Mr.Paul were to be the nominee, he would crush barky. It would not even be close.
GMB, and there is the crux of the matter, when you nominate someone who is very similar to the incumbant, you will lose. If you nominate someone who has a history of contrasts to the incumbant, only then do you have a chance.
Not the first time someone called Hillary a bitch — wont be the last. I’ll bet her own husband has called her worse than that.
What is tour reading comprehension? I stated politically that she is that way. I could point you to a trail of broken spirits and bodys that were left behind in the wake of the Clintons rise to power. It would be pointless with you.
Oddly enough I have a strange respect for the Clintons. They never have pretended , politically speaking, to be anything other than what they appear to be.
As to finding my behavoir a turn off? Who the hell cares? Have a nice day,. 🙂

They live and breathe at editorial pages of the New York Times . . . . and wherever else Condoleezza Rice is being besmirched and
impugned today.”

will they embrace the TEA “party” or would we be a threat to them as we would take them over as the GOP has become frightened of?
Spook,
I have to disagree – Pawlenty has all the zest appeal of oatmeal.
Diane has no capacity to think outside the liberal adulation of The One and will fall upon her knees to vote for this empty suit without one regard to his governance.
OK, I’m probably going to get in trouble for this, but “voting” wasn’t the first thing that crossed my mind in conjunction with “falling upon her knees”.
Since i don’t vote in the United States I guess it doesn’t matter at least politically what I do on my knees? Cluster can you tell me if a republican how long it will take for those here to blame Obama when unemployment doesn’t miraculously fall back to 4.5% in his first year in office? No matter who won in 2008 this would have been a very tough job to accomplish what has been done so far.
Diane,
I have grown tired of the blame game, so don’t care what the republicans do. I hope this country can intellectually get to the next level and address our countries problems in an adult like manner.
I have to disagree – Pawlenty has all the zest appeal of oatmeal.
Yeah, I know; that’s what they said about Silent Cal. Aside from the comparison to oatmeal, what can you think of about Pawlenty that’s a negative?

RIGHT, then STFU and worry about where YOU vote. WE dont give a rats ass what you “THINK”
Yes, Cluster, those words are so funny. From a group that is suppose to be the one that loves the United States and those who serve their country. If that is your idea of comedy, you need to visit with your mother, grandmothers, sisters, wives etc and see if they think this is really that funny. You may not agree with her political views but to deny that this woman has worked very hard at representing her country and doing her very best cannot be denied. Your respect for women who serve this country is quite pathetic.
Sunny,
I hate to break your liberal love bubble, but my mother and sister have stronger words for Hillary than I could ever come up with. Set aside your feminine hyper sensitivity and grow up

Romney 45% Gingrich 22% Paul 11% Santorum 8%
Santorum drops out of race after Florida
The GOP convention will be ugly but Romney will become the candidate and he will choose Governor Mitch Daniels as his VP after Governor Christie speaks his mind in Tampa.
November election +5 Democratic seats in the Senate +36 Democratic seats in the House
Obama defeats Romney 340-198 with 51% of the popular vote to Romney’s 43%.
David Axlerod is that you?
Sadly no.
It is OFFICIAL HELLS FORKERS have “spoken”
Is that the code for your medical diagnoses?
Latest polling:
“In potential Election 2012 matchups, it’s President Obama 47% and Romney 42%. However, if Gingrich is his Republican opponent, the president holds a double-digit lead, 50% to 37% .”
For the first time in roughly two-and-a-half years, Democrats lead Republicans on the Generic Congressional Ballot, this time for the week ending Sunday, Jan. 29.
41% of Likely U.S. Voters would vote for the Democrat in their district’s congressional race if the election were held today, while 40% would choose the Republican instead.
Diane,
I don’t want to deflate your Obama love bubble but gallup has things a little differently. And just a comment, any incumbent that doesn’t poll over 50% is a sure loser.
http://www.gallup.com/poll/election.aspx
Cluster where do you think I got my polling numbers from? Here’s a hint it isn’t Democratic Underground.
Then why did you distort it?
Distort it how? Those were the numbers given in the last set of telephone polls taken. They are reported on the website for everyone to see. How is reporting what one of the largest conservative polling centers produced distortion? So I take that from this point on numbers from Gallup are “reliable” to Conservatives??
The gallup poll clearly shows Obama and Romney in a dead heat at 48%. You distorted that fact
My numbers don’t come from gallup they come from Rasmussen.

Need I say more???
Diane, what grade level are you at?
I hardly think that the inexperienced president could speak over many peoples heads. I think everyday Americans are very aware of how amateurish this president is
For the record, my last post about the crackdown by the Syrian government against its own people was written at a 14.3 level or second year undergrad level.
Second Year Undergeraduate level??That’s hardly true.
In order to judge the readability someone would actually have to read your “last post”, which, and believe me when I say this, is a moment in hell for anyone attempting such an undertaking.
More like Fourth Year in a Padded Room with Spiders under my Skin Level.
So Jonathan Martin from Politico offers his expert analysis of the FL panhandle: “Cracker counties” ….why you Cuban crackah you….you Haitian crackah you…..you Puerto Rican crackah you…..Journalism brought to you by Journalism For Dummies.
Florida panhandle was previously known as “The Redneck Riviera”
Diane you are wasting your time. Eugene Ionesco would be astonished at what’s posted here.
I think it is still known as the redneck riviera, and I think many people that live there are proud of that? What’s your point?
Oh and do you consider references to the founding fathers as having racial over tones?
So Diane..it is Diane isn’t it? What do you call those African American voters in Alabama and Mississippi counties? Or those in parishes in Louisiana? When you start throwing epithets around to describe voters you are what you say. And this further divides the country…just what the liberals want. Pathetic!
Voting is a civic duty and voters shouldn’t be a forum for name calling from the left.
Chrissy,
Identity politics is all the liberals have. They can not in any way, shape or form run on their ideas or results, which are all abysmal, so categorizing and blaming other people is their modus operandi.
Florida panhandle was previously known as “The Redneck Riviera”

That is egregious stool – thanks for sharing. If only Newt’s people had the level of care and compassion the SEIU does, right?
clueless, you are welcome
thanks for reminding everyone that the GOP should set it’s moral compass by SEIU and the black panthers
so if the black panthers was the GOP nominee would you tell GMB that he should hold his nose and vote the ticket?

Just pointing out your selective outrage. Nothing to see here, move on.

you punked the boy!!
I remember Black Panthers blocking the entrance to a voting place. They held weapons. I remember SEIU thugs beating a black man with a flag trying to sell t-shirts. I remember Waxman throwing Hillary under the bus. I remember liberals cheering Obama and blocking and censoring those with signs and saying NO NO Obama. But as a journalist you don’t throw epithets around and then call yourself a journalist. And that was the point of my post to begin with. Try to stay focused!
So Chirssy Ann, it is not ok to throw epithets around but it is ok to call Secretary Hillary Clinton a bitch??? I now get it. If the slur is intended for a Democratic candidate or member of the Democratic Party, it is ok for the name calling. Got it.
Chrissy Ann,
Are you a journalist or is Sunny just a stupid bitch?
Lighten up, Sunny. You’ve obviously never seen this T-shirt:

Oh Sunny, let’s try and keep our panties dry – ok? Liberals and democrats are certainly guilty of throwing epithets around. Calling Hillary a bitch is not only accurate, but pales in comparison to some of the vitriol that emanates from liberals.

“You have to see these [cartoons] to appreciate the pure racism, bigotry, and grotesqueness, as well as the prejudice that’s involved,” Limbaugh fumed,

(10) Violated his oath ofoffice to uphold the Constitution by
signing into law an ex post facto law, a retroactive tax
increase.

Why, then, did Hillary lie under oath about the last time she saw Vince Foster?

It looks like Newt is self destructing. He is blaming everything and everbody but himself for his poor prefromance in Florida.
I hearby call on Mr. Gingrich to drop out of the race and throw his support to Rick Santorum. I am sure he will answer my email….Not. 🙂
Santorum is certainly the most likable guy in the race.
GMB
the voting in Fla has a LONG way to go.
Mick Ultra 12 pack
It is not looking good so far for Newt in Florida. It is his own fault though. He had momentum going for him. He allowed himself to get taken off his game. Again Mr. Newt I call on you to withdraw from the race and support Rick Santorum.
I am not holding my breath. 😛
GMB
too late for that if mitt romulin wins Fla it is all but over for the rest.
If he picks West or Rubio as VP I will hold my nose (again) and vote for him, IF he picks Christie Ill stay home and become an indy or a viable 3rd party.
scummy forkers
REMEMBER THIS?
thought not !!!!
mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm
scummy seems you doth protest to much or you are just plain stupid to remember 8 years of this trash.
The cartoon, depicting then-Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice as the black slave maid from that film, employed the stereotype of the servile black (common in films from this period) to heighten the charge that Ms. Rice is an “Uncle Tom” or “house slave,” disparaging racist terms used by elements of the fringe left to denigrate blacks who deviate from leftist ideology.
Neo, don’t give up yet. I think it is 1124 delagates needed to win the nomination. Florida has 37 delagates giving Mr.Romney only around 60 so far.
Anything can happen.
It might be a waste but another $25.00 dollars just went to the Santorum Campaign from me. If you can donate anything even a $5.00 dollars would help.
GMB
I would Looove to see Santorum. as our pick
I don’t think it is likely that he would pick West as a running mate. I think it would be foolish for Rubio’s career to get tied to someone who has no core values. I can not see Rubio sitting around for four years doing nothing.
Mr. Romney is a no go for me. He is no threat to welfare state. He will cross the isle. He will compromise. If you actually think legislation repealing rombama care will reach the Oval Office during a Romney administration maybe you should think twice?
GMB
you are preaching to the chior, unfortunately 4 more years of the POS and we are totally sunk.
A fine fix we are in Olly!!
Neo, respectfully disagree with you on this. This country is greater than one man or the government he brings with him. barky can do damage but he can not destroy it.
This country survived worse tribulations than barky. It will survive again. Maybe not in the current form but it will still survive.
The socialist took the long road to get us here. I do not see taking the long road to get back as being successful. The longer socialism entrenches itself at every level the harder it will be to turn over.
It goes to the indivdual. Have you had your Patrick Henry moment yet?
GMB
It goes to the indivdual. Have you had your Patrick Henry moment yet?
yeah but these commies would kill you in a minute man.
Sure they would. Thats a given. Thats why you must be prepared to do unto others as they do unto you. The commies in this country are getting tired of of waiting for thier “fair share” In my opinion the are getting very close to stop asking nicely.
They will start taking. Republicans like Mr.Romney do not have the fortitude to say no. In my opinion.
Obama runs up another trillion-dollar deficit…
CBO says real unemployment at 10%…
Federal taxes to jump 30% in 2 years…
I was a bit off base with my delegate info. Mr.Romney currently has 37 and 50 up for grabs in Florida. This will give him 87. Still quiet a bit away from the nomination.
Don’t give up the ship.
Florida will send 50 delegates to the Republican National Convention.
In total, they have 99 delegates- 91 electoral delegates, 3 party leaders and 5 bonus delegates
They will restore them to 99 there is a hispanic law suit filed the GOP will capitulate.
