The Ryan Rally and Romney’s Taxes

It’s been a week, but I am sure the Democrats feel like it has been quite a bit longer, as Paul Ryan has completely changed the course of the campaign and possibly the election by coalescing the conservatives. Ryan is a solid conservative, and is not afraid to take on the once unspeakable entitlement reform issue which has Democrats in a panic because not only is he openly talking about reform, he is winning the conversation. In fact Obama has had to distort and lie about Romney and Ryan’s plan while at the same time trying to deflect the issue back to Romney’s taxes.

Let’s take a quick look at each individual issue and how the Democrats are trying to spin it. The fact is, the Medicare reform that Romney and Ryan are calling for DOES NOT impact anyone over 55 years of age. One more time for the liberals out there – the Romney/Ryan plan does not affect anyone over the age of 55 – got that? For those under 55, the reform plan offers a CHOICE. Liberals always pride themselves on being pro choice, so here’s a big moment for them. People under 55 will have the choice to remain on the current medicare program, or receive a voucher to use those funds in helping them buy other private insurance. That’s it – it’s pretty simple, and nothing like the big scary reform Obama and the Democrats are trying to paint it as, so keep that in mind the next time you see that smarmy David Axlerod on TV lying through his teeth.

Now on to Romney’s taxes. Mitt and Ann Romney have released the legally required tax returns and financial disclosures which have proven to be above board and in compliance with every tax obligation. There is no reason why they should be required to release any more, and further calls for them to do so, are tantamount to a witch hunt. If the Democrats and Obama were concerned that the Romney’s evaded taxes, or failed to submit in any given year, well then that can be found out quite easily by one phone call to Douglas Shulman, Commissioner of the IRS, who reports to Timothy Geitnner, who is ironically an admitted tax evader. If any irregularities are found in Romney’s tax returns, and no action is taken, well then we have much larger issues to concern ourselves with, but as it stands now, Romney does not have any “secret” tax returns as recently described by the aforementioned smarmy Axelrod. Do the liberals understand that? Have I dumbed this down enough for them? We will see.

    Said elsewhere but appropriate.

“Romney: “The Job Creators®, blessed be thy name, are taxed to heavily.”
Media: “Really? Can you support that claim by showing us as many years of tax returns as your opponent has?”
    Romney: “Here’s one year.”
Media: “Try 10. You know, the same number released by every single major presidential candidate for decades, which by the way includes your own father?”
    Romney: “I won’t give you 10, 1 is enough.”
    Media: “Why?”
Romney: “Because, even though I am running for the office of President of the United States of America, arguably the most powerful position on Earth, a job that is fraught with a multitude of challenges, stresses, conflicts, and difficulties, I’m too scared to release more tax returns because the media might ‘attack me’ over what’s in them.”
    Media: “…are you serious?”
Romney: “Hey look! I just picked Paul Ryan as my running mate!”
Media: “Good…job…I guess? Anyway, about those tax returns…”
    Romney: “Uh…13%!”
    Media: “What?”
Romney: “I’ve paid at least 13% in taxes since, like, forever!”
Media: “That’s nice. How about you go ahead and show us?”
Romney: “Uh…hey, did I mention I picked Paul Ryan as my running mate?”

      Well, here’s lie #1:

Media: “Try 10. You know, the same number released by every single major presidential candidate for decades, which by the way includes your own father?”

McCain released just the legally required two years, the same as Romney, and was never questioned.

      Here’s lie #2:

      Romney: “Here’s one year.”

      Romney has released two years.

Bloody, if you are going to have an imaginary conversation in your head – at least don’t lie to yourself. K?

      • freethinker's avatar freethinker August 17, 2012 / 1:57 pm

Actually, Romney has not released two years of tax returns. He has released part of his tax returns for 2010, and said he will release the 2011 tax returns when they are completed. My guess that will not happen until after the election.

        “Romney has released two years.”

No he hasn’t. He released his 2010 return and has promised to release his 2011 return when it’s available.

He has released two returns, 2010 and the estimate of 2011 along with 2011 financial disclosures. His CPA firm has stated that has soon as the 2011’s are finished, they will be released.

        Get a grip

      • Count d'Haricots's avatar Count d'Haricots August 17, 2012 / 4:29 pm

So, did you read his 2010 tax returns?

If the Tax Returns are so freakin’ important to you loons why haven’t you “read” what he’s already produced? You have no idea what tax returns are, how to “read” them or what they prove or disprove, do you?

You haven’t bothered to look into this because your dimocrat overlords have already told you what to think about those tax returns?

Predictable. What is it Tired says … mindless drones.

        An estimate isn’t a return.

“His CPA firm has stated that has soon as the 2011′s are finished, they will be released.”

        Which is what I said.

      • Count d'Haricots's avatar Count d'Haricots August 17, 2012 / 4:47 pm

        an estimate isn’t a return???

        Really?

        Can you explain the difference?

Tell me, O wise reader of all things financial, where exactly would you place that particular delta?

What information mightbe in the filed return that may differ from the CPA Certified Financial Estimate (which is the cumulative quarterly filings from FY 2011)?

        I didn’t think so.

      • Cluster's avatar Cluster August 17, 2012 / 4:50 pm

An estimate and financial disclosures are releases of 2011 finances, and are perfectly legal disclosures Cap. The thing that morons like you should be looking for is when the 2011 financials are complete, you should match that up with the estimates. Now that could be a story, but you probably haven’t thought that one through.

        You’re welcome for the tip

        freethinker,

John McCain released two years – never questioned by liberals

Ronald Regan released just one year – never questioned by liberals

John Kerry never released his wife’s (Ta Raeza) returns – never questioned, and when confronted with avoiding taxes on his Yacht, Kerry responded indignantly, and never questioned by liberals

Romney has released two years, plus many financial disclosures

So tell us all again how concerned you are. It only reinforces your mendacity.

“Thanks for the note. It is clear that President Obama wants nothing more than to talk about Governor Romney’s tax returns instead of the issues that matter to voters, like putting Americans back to work, fixing the economy and reining in spending,” he wrote. “If Governor Romney’s tax returns are the core message of your campaign, there will be ample time for President Obama to discuss them over the next 81 days.”

        Cap,

there is no defense about it. The legal requirements are met and if the POTUS was truly concerned about legalities, that can be found out with one phone call as previously mentioned. Instead the POTUS prefers to demagogue the issue to rile up the emotions of people like you and Mitch. Of course it doesn’t take much with Mitch.

      cluster,
When you are spending the amount of time you have spent defending Romney’s right not to share any more tax returns instead of explaining what a great president Romney would be, you are on defense.

I agree that Romney has fulfilled his legal obligations and that he hasn’t done anything legal as far as paying his taxes.

Hey Dennis – where are you? You little puke. Time again to come rushing to the defense of Ahmadenijad.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told an annual anti-Israel protest in Tehran on Friday that the Jewish state was a “cancerous tumour” that will soon be excised, drawing Western rebukes

Please tell us all once again how Ahmadenijad only wants to destroy the Zionists. I love that story.

    http://news.yahoo.com/tumour-israel-soon-destroyed-ahmadinejad-091548418.html

    • dennis's avatar dennis August 18, 2012 / 1:39 am

Cluster, I’ve never defended Ahmadinejad. I find him generally loathsome. I have however appealed for precision in quoting the words of others, primarily myself and others on this blog but also including Ahmadinejad. You’re reckless in your representation of what other people say, and you often make huge uncritical inferences regarding what they mean. Look up “uncritical inference” – it’s a species of logical fallacy you’re especially prone to.

Once again, Ahmadinejad’s words referenced “The Zionist regime and the Zionists.” He seems pretty consistent about using this formulation, although the American media (and I’m sure the Israelis do as well) take liberties with his actual words.

Consider that if Israel actually is a “Jewish state” as you quote above, then it’s an apartheid state based on race, and there are a significant number of disenfranchised Arab residents (living on their ancesral land) within Israel’s borders. What the heck would the U.S. be doing supporting a racist apartheid regime?

On the other hand, if Israel is not a Jewish apartheid state but a bona fide democracy (as you have claimed before), then Ahmadinejad is just spewing garbage again, as I have noted before that he often does. The things he says are indeed divisive and hateful – but so are the actions of Zionist extremists within Israel, against the Arabs living in their midst. There aren’t many clean hands in that whole scenario. Meanwhile things are getting tough inside Iran, sanctions are starting to bite and Ahmadinejad should be expected to start making more unpleasant noises.

Regarding Israel, I would note once again that the particular regime or party governing any nation is not the same thing as its land mass or its population. It is a distinction that matters. The Soviet regime is gone, wiped off the geopolitical map – but the nation of Russia and its people remain. The Shah’s regime is gone, but Iran and Iranians remain. The same with Myanmar’s military regime. The same could theoretically become true of an apartheid Jewish state, if that’s what exists now – yielding a democratic state with both Israeli and Palestinian residents.

    • dennis's avatar dennis August 18, 2012 / 2:36 am

Not to mention that from all appearances it’s Israel preparing to attack Iran, not the opposite.

Mitt and Ann Romney have released the legally required tax returns and financial disclosures which have proven to be above board and in compliance with every tax obligation. There is no reason why they should be required to release any more, and further calls for them to do so, are tantamount to a witch hunt. ”

This is just delusional. A witch hunt? Please. You have hounded President Obama for years, and then when the majority of Americans think Mitt should release more tax returns, it’s a witch hunt. Is this a joke on your part, Cluster?

As for the 13%, a lot of people have noticed Romney’s careful phrasing so as to avoid explaining just what taxes he paid. And even if it was 13% federal taxes, this is something that’s going to help him? “I paid less taxes than most of you for the last ten years, so there! And my friend Paul Ryan’s plan will reduce my federal taxes to nearly nothing! Good for ME!”

As far as I’m concerned, it’s completely up to him. There is no legal obligation to do more, as you point out. But since all recent candidates HAVE released the returns that he is unwilling to release, he has to expect that the American public is going to continue believing there must be something weird going on. Evidently he thinks that’s better for him than actually releasing their contents.

    • Cluster's avatar Cluster August 17, 2012 / 9:48 pm

Ronald Reagan released only one year – never questioned

John Kerry never released his wife’s returns despite similar wealth and never questioned

Timothy Geithner is an admitted tax evader, was never questioned and ultimately won appointment

But now you want us to believe that this is an issue? Do you have any bridges you’re trying to sell too like Al Sharpton? You’re hilarious.

Like I said, Cluster, it’s his choice. And it IS a calculated, political choice, and that is all it is. If he feels that releasing his returns will improve his chances, he will. And he may yet. There is nothing Romney wants more desperately than to be president of the United States.

The tax return issue will continue to trouble more and more voters, mostly because lowering taxes further for the wealthiest is a centerpiece of the Ryan budget and Romney’s campaign. I believe it will make Mitt’s life more miserable as the weeks go by – from within his own party as much as from without.

But the real matter people should be focusing on is Ryan’s credibility, or the lack thereof. He’s being lauded for creating an imaginary budget – there’s no substance to it (as one sensed when he was being questioned by Britt Hume). His numbers are fairy dust.

The reality is that Ryan—no less than Romney himself—has simply made up numbers as he pleases. For a devastating example, see an analysis by Ezra Klein for The Washington Post, where Klein exposed the fraudulent nature of Ryan’s long-term budget projections.
Many people seem to think that Ryan has announced a tax plan that will raise adequate revenues, and a plan to slow the growth of spending on Medicare. In fact, Ryan simply assumes that tax revenues will rise to a certain level and that Medicare spending will be lower under his plan. Why? Because he says so.

This is not the work of a “budget wonk.” Any college Freshman can spend an afternoon looking at budget projections and make the long-term numbers add up, if he is given the ability to apply magical thinking and simply assert that he can make the numbers rise and fall at will.

How magical is this thinking? Even after savaging nearly every federal program designed to help the poor—and making sure that state governments will be forced to do the same, by slashing federal contributions to Medicaid and other aid to states—Ryan’s budget assumes that all federal discretionary spending (that is, including military spending, but not including Social Security and health care) will come in below the amount that Mitt Romney has said he will spend on the military alone. In other words, Ryan’s supposed plan dramatically contradicts even Romney’s plan (as well as numerous other analyses that are actually based on facts).

Similarly, Ryan’s tax projections simply amount to a belief in the long-discredited idea that tax cuts more than pay for themselves—an idea that even a Romney economic advisor once dismissed as the ravings of “charlatans and cranks.”

from an EXTREMELY, EXTREME, EXTREMIST!!!!! 🙂

        Are You an Extremist?
        Townhall.com ^ | August 18, 2012 | Bill O’Reilly

After Rep. Paul Ryan was announced as Mitt Romney’s running mate, it took less than 24 hours for The New York Times to define Ryan as an “extremist.” In a lead editorial, the paper bannered this sub-headline: “With no plan of his own, Mr. Romney can’t distance himself from Mr. Ryan’s extremist vision.”

That “vision” would be federal spending cuts and entitlement reform.

While chairman of the House Budget Committee, Ryan sent two spending bills to the House, both of which passed but were killed in the Senate, which is controlled by the Democrats. The bills cut federal programs across the board. Ryan is also a fan of reforming Medicare and Social Security, which are going bankrupt.

In the bubble that is the liberal media, trimming government spending and making entitlements more fiscally viable are extreme positions. That’s somewhat ironic because President Obama’s strategy of massive government spending and borrowing is perhaps the most extreme economic plan in the nation’s history. Never before has the USA run up such an enormous debt and had so little to show for it.

So defining Ryan as extreme is an interesting scare tactic — and one that might be extended in the days to come. Here are some other positions that the committed left media consider extreme:

–If you believe traditional marriage should be kept as the exclusive standard, you are not only extreme; you are a homophobe.

–If you believe all Americans should pay less in taxes, you are greedy and an anti-poor extremist.

–If you believe the Second Amendment gives Americans the right to buy and possess guns, you are promoting violence in an extreme way.

–If you believe the government has a duty to combat overseas terrorists without giving them constitutional protections, you are an extreme anti-human rights individual.

–If you believe abortion is the taking of a human life, you are an anti-woman extremist.

–If you support securing the nation’s borders and regulating immigration, you are anti-Hispanic.

The list goes on and on.

By labeling someone as extreme, you can dismiss whatever they say. That’s the strategy being used against Ryan. New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd writes: “Ryan should stop being so lovable. People who intend to hurt other people should wipe the smile off their faces.”

“….I have a pretty good idea about what the conservatives on this blog think

What do you think I think, casper? Or Spook? Or the Count? Or Cluster? or dbschmidt?

And while claiming to know what we think, you still duck and dodge the request that you lay out YOUR political philosophy, YOUR idea for the best way to govern the nation. Why is that?

I’ll make it easier for you.

My political philosophy, my belief in the best way to govern the nation, is that the best blueprint for governing the United States of America is the Constitution of the United States of America.

        There.

Every other political thought or idea fits very comfortably under that umbrella.

That is, that the United States leapfrogged over every other civilization in the world, over all the sophisticated nations that sneered at this unruly rabble that thought it could do better than the established and revered monarchy of so many generations, and within 100 years established new standards of economic prosperity, individual liberty, and opportunity for all—and that the ONLY thing that made this possible was our Constitution.

That our success was due to the establishment of a central government severely restricted, in perpetuity, regarding size, scope and power, leaving the day to day decisions of the people TO the people,

That the exclusion of government in commerce allowed a free market system which proved itself to be so far superior to any other economic system that it allowed this raw new nation to dominate the world economy.

That this nation only started to falter when the basic tenets of the Constitution were stretched, ignored, violated, subverted, or in any way weakened.

        *******************************

You obviously support the Left, or at least we have to think that, given your strident attacks lately on anything that seems to represent the Right.

So please explain this allegiance to this political system. Explain the system as you see it, and its superiority as you see it. Tell us why you think this system is a better way to govern the nation than the Constitution.

Yet you still cannot, or will not, lay out a political philosophy which you think represents the best way to govern the country.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona August 18, 2012 / 3:25 pm

Well, casper, you have created kind of a little problem for yourself here, haven’t you?

You got caught in a big fat, AND REPEATED, lie. How did that go again?

Oh yeah….“Now you want to beat up an 83 year old woman who you have never met because she spit on another person you have never met.”

        And

“If someone did spit on me I wouldn’t use it as an excuse to beat up an 83 year old woman, “

Now you claim, without proof, that neo said he wanted to kill you, a statement accompanied by Classic Casper, the coy little passive-aggressive disclaimer that this alleged threat was “…APPARENTLY..” only because he doesn’t agree with you (trying to slip in a claim that this alleged threat is based solely on political disagreement), and also that he threatened to “beat you up”.

        So what do I know?

I know that you are a liar.

I know that you use the term “beat up” very loosely.

And I know that you are trying the equivalent of “the dog ate my homework”.

And you other claims are supposed to be believed?

BTW, cappy, if these horrible threats were deleted, how could you repost them?

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona August 18, 2012 / 3:31 pm

Ooops, I forgot to point out the double lie, or is it a triple lie—that not only did neo threaten to “beat up” and old woman he had “never met” but that his motive would be that she has spit on someone else, a third party, whom he had also never met.

        Lie # 1—“beat up”
Lie # 2 —on a woman he had “never met” (when he clearly said he would introduce her to his fist IF SHE SPIT ON HIM and I would consider the spitting to be a form of “meeting”
Lie # 3—BECAUSE she spit on a third party

Now, I know you’re dumb as dirt, and I know that you have some pretty serious mental filters that distort pretty much everything into “Liberal = Good” and “Conservative = Bad” even though you’ve never been able to define either one, but neither stupidity nor mindless bias can explain your LIES.

As ATP Oil Files For Bankruptcy, CEO Blames Obama For Company’s Collapse
        Saturday, August 18, 2012

When I get Paul Bulmahn on the phone rumors are swirling that he’s just days from putting his company, ATP Oil & Gas, into Chapter 11. He can’t confirm it yet, but he wants to make one thing perfectly clear: If it does come to bankruptcy (which it did on August 17) it isn’t his fault. The founder and chairman of publicly traded ATP (Nasdaq:ATPG), Bulmahn wants the world to know that the Obama Administration—and its illegal ban on deepwater drilling in the wake of the BP disaster—is to blame for the implosion of his company. Not him.

Obama: Ryan plan would cut Romney’s tax rate to 1 percent

Obama inherited Bush’s economic disaster and turned it into an apocalypse. He superlatively turned worse to worst.

Look at our current financial team — Obama, a community organizer who made money from a dubious memoir, and Biden, who is too busy bragging about how poor he is to suggest that he might know anything at all about finances or economics.
Who in his right mind would rather have an economy run by Obama and Biden than one run by the investment banker Romney and the head of the House Budget Committee, Ryan?
(evidently most of the lefty trolls here)

Obama and Biden look like stickball players trying to bat at Yankee Stadium. They don’t belong there. They don’t measure up to their offices. They are the mascots of the failed Democrat team. They are not World Series caliber.

Police say a waitress was attacked at a Red Lobster restaurant in Illinois on Friday — the second such customer-on-server assault at the location in seven months.

The latest incident at the Fairview Heights, Ill. restaurant happened at about 2:15 p.m. Friday afternoon, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. Police said the waitress had water thrown on her and was hit repeatedly by either open hands or menus. Three suspects were taken into custody.

Police told the newspaper the motive for the attack was unknown, but a witness to the incident told KMOV-TV it started when the three black female customers were unhappy that the server kept refilling their water glasses.
The witness said that as the waitress walked away, one of the customers threw a water glass at her, striking her in the back of the head. When the victim turned around, the witness said the customer picked up a menu and hit her in the face with it.

You and your “real economists”. Well, I’ll see your “real economists” with Laffer and Sowell, and raise you with the evidence of the utter failure of the current economic plan.

      • dennis's avatar dennis August 18, 2012 / 3:59 pm

Laffer? You’re kidding, right? You’d have been more persuasive at least in the abstract by citing Hayek or von Mises.

I’ll raise you yet again with the proven failure of trickle down economics, which Romney and Ryan apparently believe the electorate is stupid enough to fall for again. http://economistsview.typepad.com/economistsview/2012/06/laughing-at-the-laffer-curve.html

The current plan can’t even be evaluated because cleaning up the train wreck Obama inherited isn’t the work of a single presidential term, and Congress has persisted in blocking and/or obstructing any Obama policy that might produce success.

BTW, my economists don’t depend on crystal balls or other forms of mind-reading so they can claim to know the thought processes and feelings of others. You seem quite impressed with that technique.

I didn’t say you spoke for conservatives, only that I consider your posts the best examples of conservative thought on this blog.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona August 18, 2012 / 1:42 pm

casper, you can’t even DEFINE “conservative thought”. I’ve repeatedly asked you to do so, and you have never been able to.

All you are doing now is acting very snitty and snotty, with your coy little barbs.

But at least you are out of the closet and openly Liberal.

Now—please define conservative thought and/or why you are supporting the Left. Think you are up to that? Turn around and put on that Waldo hat, pretend it is a thinking cap, and work very hard at it.

What is it exactly, that makes you think the Obama plan is the best way to govern the country?

You have told us you believe in the Constitution (though, now that I think of it, your take on the Constitution is so distorted and goofy it’s hard to tell WHAT you think it is…) so please explain to us how supporting the unlimited expansion of the size and scope of the federal government is consistent with a belief that the Constitution is the law of the land and the way we are supposed to govern the nation.

There—-I laid out a simple essay question for the teacher. What say you?

What an interesting group of comments—if by “interesting” you mean mindless attacks on Ryan and casper finally coming out of the closet as a true hard-core Lib. Oh a PL Lib for sure,as he has never been able or at least willing to define his ideology and defend it. But at least he is no longer playing the mousy little passive-aggressive “moderate” he used to pretend to be.

Now he is just plain aggressive, and wholly on the side of the Left.

We can look at the collection of PL vitriol here and feel quite confident about this election cycle, because I think it is a good cross section of what the Left has to offer as the foundation of its campaign.

Remember, most of the voters out there are not ardent, hate-driven PL trolls who seek out conservative blogs to hurl jibes and insults. So we can’t take the vitriol of the resident trolls as an example of how the mainstream American feels. These people are in a class of their own,one that used to be described in Abnormal Psych classes but which has since been validated by the Left as political commentary.

No,what they are showing us is what the Left is running on. These losers get their ‘information” from the people putting together the campaign strategy, such as it is. And it can be summed up as:

Do not discuss the deficit, the debt, the payoffs, the buyouts, the downgrading of our credit rating, the deaths in Afghanistan, the shifting of Medicare funding to the “health care” program. the disappearance of billions of dollars allegedly spent to stimulate the economy, the failure of the Senate to meet its Constitutional requirement for producing a budget, unemployment, jobs, or the other failures of the Obama regime.

Try frantically to portray the Right as just so darned evil and bad no one should vote for them. Make this an election of voting AGAINST instead of voting FOR, because the Left has no reason to vote FOR their candidates.

Depend on ridicule, lies, and trying to shift focus to irrelevant non-issues such as Romney’s taxes and Ryan’s appearance.

Ramp up the divisiveness program, working overtime to create even more distance among target groups—-blacks, Latinos, women, gays, and then of course the class warfare theme.

This is all the Left has, and the passionate efforts of the PL trolls here, including casper, illustrate it with every post.

Wow, talk about a thread going off the rails. I applaud the moderators for at least trying to bring some sanity to this place. Until you do, NeoClown is indeed the face of B4V. I don’t think even you want that.

Little Amy said, “Try frantically to portray the Right as just so darned evil and bad no one should vote for them. Make this an election of voting AGAINST instead of voting FOR, because the Left has no reason to vote FOR their candidates.” Little Amy, this is precisely the predicament you find yourself in. Not a one of you wanted Romney in the first place, but now you’re stuck with him and having to make the best of it–mainly because of your hatred of President Obama. If that’s not voting AGAINST, I don’t know what is.

      1. When we first started to talk about the GOP ticket, months ago, I said my dream ticket was Romney/Bolton.

When some posters had objections to Romney, and when there were other people in the race I really liked, I supported them, but I never turned on Romney.

And everyone said that even though they preferred other people they would back Romney.

      2. This “hatred” meme you Lefties are trying to project onto us is getting very tiresome—but then, to people who base what are supposed to be rational political decisions on emotion, I suppose it is natural to project the same emotional basis onto other people.

But you need to know that every time one of you PL trolls accuses us of just “hating” Obama, of just being driven by negative emotion, we can point to two things: One is the abysmal record of Obama that has even supporters of him in ’08 realizing he is a dud, and the other is that even those of us who did have negative EMOTIONS about Romney realize that he is still vastly more qualified for the job than Barry. That is, we do not base our political calculations and decisions on emotion, positive or negative.

We leave that to you, the people who ardently support Obama without even being able to define his ideology. Or yours.
