And some people think liberal bias doesn’t exist in colleges?

There’s a distrubing story out of my home state of Massachusetts, that the chaplain of UMass-Amherst attempted to offer college credits to students for campaigning for Barack Obama.

Just once I’d like to see one of our resident Libs admit that they’re embarrassed when their party does crap like this. Of course, I’d love to win the Lottery too, and the odds are about the same.

Similare but more deplorable antics are documented in high school and junior high practices. I recall where a school in Virginia held a compulsory assembly for Barry and flat out refused any appearance by McCain. Folkses, if you’ve got your kids in a public school you should watch out for this and much worse crapola. As for the universities they must ultimately fall of their own irrelevance. As they teach more and more Marx and less of everything else the diploma wastes as an asset. The Left always poisons all it touches. That’s good news, long term.

and we put our children into these peoples hands and hinge thier future on the ignorance that they are being spoon fed by half wit liberals who have no clue what integrity and honor are…

Wonder what Wellington’s response would be if Republicans were pulling this kind of crap.

What about the separation of church and state issue here! How is this bad if a chaplain wanted it? Wait a minute there’s no mention of what denomination Chaplain Kent Higgins comes from is there? His file says Protestant non denominational chaplain.

I thought the right wing was all for religious activism in the public sphere. It seems that this is based solely on which side you support. Once again that slip of hypocrisy you dames love to wear is showing and it is rather oddly stained.

    Biden garbles Depression history

Joe Biden’s denunciation of his own campaign’s ad to Katie Couric got so much attention last night that another odd note in the interview slipped by.

He was speaking about the role of the White House in a financial crisis.

“When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn’t just talk about the princes of greed,” Biden told Couric. “He said, ‘Look, here’s what happened.’”

As Reason’s Jesse Walker footnotes it: “And if you owned an experimental TV set in 1929, you would have seen him. And you would have said to yourself, ‘Who is that guy? What happened to President Hoover?’”

biden must be the product of liberal education…

    js,

The good part is that the vast majority of liberals knew better unlike dittoheads who digest everything Rush, Hannity and O’Reilly say every day as if it were passed down on a tablet from above.

The words “radio” and 1933 would not have done Joe Biden any harm. Or he could have asked McCain what channel he watched Hoover on!

    Deejah: You’re a laugh a minute! Thanks.

  11. Rich says:

Is it legal for a school that recieves taxpayer money to support a political candidate like this?

  12. Kahn says:

Deejah Thoris – please outline Obama’s economic plans.

(Conservatives, resist the urge to help)

Deejah Thoris – please outline Obama’s economic plans.

To quote Harry Reid: “nobody knows”.

  14. congressive says:

Obama’s econimic outline is right here:

    Somebody knows.

  15. Kahn says:

congressive, thanks deeja – outline it for me. Barack is a little long winded.

  16. js says:

but is obama “really” the one in charge here?

think on it…he is a puppet of the DNC…

    soros and dean…

  17. Just Another Taxpayer says:

Wow, giving credits to students who campaigned for Obama.
I wonder if that’s as unpatriotic as McCain having people profiting from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lobbying big time until shortly before it’s takover on his staff. Or as unpatriotic as CEO’s who take our tax money for their failures refusing to take pay cuts.
Obamas now over McCain 52 to 43 and rising. No one cares outside this bankrupt church you run here.
    Have a nice day!
