Quote of the Day-A Harbinger From Ayn Rand

“Watch money. Money is the barometer of a society’s virtue. When you see that trading is done, not by consent but by compulsion, when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing, when you see that money is flowing to those who deal not in goods but in favors, when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you, when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice, you may know that your society is doomed.”

That’s a good one, and here is another one along the same lines by Adrian Rogers…

“You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by
legislating the wealthy out of freedom…. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea
that it does no good to work because somebody else is going
to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the
end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.”

    - Dr. Adrian Rogers, 1931

    BINGO…..SPOT on.
This is why leftist atheist marxism is so dangerous.

“Gab wrote,” “What isn’t covered until I read an article this weekend in the Democratic Strategist… “ Clearly, a purveyor of fair and balanced opinions Gab. That’s a great source for changing the minds of those on the right on this blog. On this, “Minorities have too long used bigotry as a crutch I agree.” we can agree, but nothing else. Gab calls FM and Neo1 by labeling them, …Nativist Change-Fearful Xenophobes [NCFX]…. That’s another second-grade style argument Gab’s famous for around here. Well, let me bring down to you r level. Nanny nanny boo boo to you too Gab!

Jimmy Carter and the “affirmative action” crowd changed the banking laws that allow the recent meltdown of the housing market. Reagan, ignoring Carter’s mistake make one himself. Bill Clinton only made things worse by adding more muscle to affirmative action banking enforcement. While, Bush, who half-heartedly tried to Raine (a little pun there for you pun lovers) Fannie and Freddie in, didn’t get the job done as Barnie Frank beat him on that one.

So you see we can credit Reagan for the economic recovery of the nineties, while subsequently laying the lion’s share of the blame, for the current state of our economy, squarely at the feet of Carter, Clinton, Frank, and a host of other progressive race baiters. Obama’s just doing his best to make it worse. Thus far, he’s performance has been admirable.

    “I had you all wrong neocon1/fmrmarine you aren’t a bigot at all…”

you are correct I am no bigot. That is a lie by some trolls here to discredit some of us conservatives.

if you choose to listen to complete fools like orrinthal so be it,
he has proven him self to be ohioMORON, a THIEF, LIAR and FORKER/TROLL.

As for me I was raised in the north…Buffalo N.Y.
there was NO segregation in schools, restaurants or where ever. The high school I attender was @ 25-30% black, I worked in the steel millas after school @ 40% black.
So I wont bore you with my “black friends” storys since you seem to know all about everything.

Xenephobe?, I Believe in Christianity, and think islam is a demonic cult led by a child molesting psychopath.Mo-HA-MAD very simple…..evil just like racism.

    I believe in freedom gabby,
while back in the southern civil rights era AA was essential for helping with southern integration and advancement.
It has long outlived it’s usefulness and should be retired.

Gab said, “So clearly you are so stupid that you’ve made my point. I made your point? In calling me stupid you’ve made my point.

I don’t need Reagan to do anything for me as I don’t care about the color, nationality, cultural background etc. of an individual. I do, however, care about the quality of an individual’s character. Your’s seems skewed. I don’t believe my interests, as a native born white man, should be favored ahead of anyone else’s and I think it a tough sell to imply Reagan held those beliefs or his legacy somehow justifies holding such beliefs.

I want people who wish to live here as members of our society to obey our laws and work to support themselves as I do. I want our elected officials to enforce our laws. If they need to be changed, fine, change them, but enforce them until they’ve been changed.

I don’t think folks who graduate Summa Cum Laude and hold MBA’s can be classified as stupid. Misinformed, deluded, deranged, mean spirited, insane or immature, as is I suspect your problem, perhaps, but stupid, no.

Please site the report you spoke of if wish to be taken seriously. You see, it’s OK to throw out well known indisputable facts, — like Carter changing the law, Clinton strengthening enforcement, or Franks repeated lying through his teeth claiming Freddie and Fannie were in fine shape — but it’s quite another to base an argument on stats from a report you saw somewhere.
