My fury has subsided. Let me tell you, yesterday evening was the maddest I have been in a long time. Perhaps ever. I don’t get mad, you see? I mean, seriously, over the course of my life if I really worked at it and decided to carry a grudge I have been able to stay angry for 3, 4 minutes at a stretch. I’m just like that. I can explode in momentary rage – but even that is very rare these days – but I can’t stay mad. There’s always a way around it. We can work it out. But last night I was in a towering rage for a long time. When the news of the Georgia indictment I read the particulars and was confronted immediately by some of the most miserable, cowardly, spiteful comments I’ve ever seen. They set me afire and I let people know just how I felt.
From the Left?
You kidding? Didn’t even bother with those idiots. I’m talking about comments from the Right. Do you want to know where we are? 100% of the Left is cheering the indictments. Meanwhile, at least 50% of the Right ranges from cheering to pseudo-intellectual posing about it. “The charges are serious and we must read the indictment”…the indictment lists Tweets as proof of a criminal conspiracy. Trump is charged with being Trump – the other defendants are charged with being Trump in the Second Degree. This is why we lose. We simply don’t understand where we are.
Think about it: why Georgia? Because the GOP governor hates Trump so much he sat on his hands while ballot dumps after poll closing handed the State to Biden. Because it is a State matter and so Trump can’t get a federal pardon. Because even if pressure is placed on Kemp to issue a pardon, he can’t – Georgia doesn’t allow Executive clemency. It is the perfect place for the Democrats to bring such charges. And it doesn’t matter how bogus it is – the jury pool where he’ll be tried is overwhelmingly Democrats and they’ll know their job is to convict no matter what. The last defense of human liberty is gone – because after half a century of de-educating the population, most people don’t even know what a jury is for. Sure it’ll be tossed on appeal, in some years. We simply don’t have the guts or the skill to do what the Democrats have done here. And even if we did, a GOP jury would still believe it must weigh the facts in rendering a judgement – we don’t have a jurisdiction where we can be certain of getting a guilty verdict.
So, where does that leave us? In a very tough spot.
A cogent case can be made for dumping Trump: that he’s just too large a burden for us to carry. I can see that point – but only if the eventual GOP nominee pledges to pardon Trump and open criminal investigations into every prosecutor – State and federal – who has investigated Trump. The charge? Civil rights violations. And to turn it about – hit them with RICO. It will not be hard to prove under that law (which should be repealed but that’s for another time) that all of these people conspired together to deny Donald Trump his civil rights; even the slightest, second-hand contacts would do the trick. You see, absent such a pledge, then all we’re doing is caving to the Democrats. What choice we make must always work out to a combat choice: a notification to the Democrats that we’re coming after them.
But whether or not we end up dumping Trump or sticking with him, we must get fully into combat mode. We must start threatening prosecution. Social and economic ruin. Expulsion from position. We have to start kicking the Left in the nuts. We must stop “being better than that”. Do we want to win, or not?
I want to win. I want them to pay. They have to pay: if they aren’t punished, then this country is doomed.
… a notification to the Democrats that we’re coming after them.
“If you come after me, I’m coming after you” – Trump on TruthSocial (and Democrats are trying to make this a crime). Anger is good … resolve, unity, and focus is better. We need to get there.
There are only three GOP candidates that I trust to do just this – Trump, DeSantis, and Ramaswamey. Unfortunately I have no say in the primary but if either of these three candidates win, then good for us, if not then we’re f***ed. You are correct Mark in saying that only about 50% of the GOP truly understands the fight we are in.
Aside from the fact that there is not one single crime committed by Trump in any of these indictments, and I still challenge anyone to correct me, but the minute I saw and heard Fanni Willis, I realized that she is definitely an affirmative action hire and has badly butchered the law to craft this indictment … so it will go nowhere just like the others. And of course the other dynamic at play is narcissism. All of these loser prosecutors are wanting their 15 minutes of social media viral fame. Fanni even waited until prime time to get her camera time. Don’t doubt that.
And of course here we are … all talking about Trump. It’s not like the current President has been shaking down foreign adversaries for millions, or leaving Russian Oligarchs off of sanction lists, or sending billions to his corrupt partner in Ukraine, or allowing crime to run rampant, or allowing rape and drug trafficking at the border. A sane and responsible nation would be talking about those issues … and now you know why Trump has been indicted 4 times. We are a long ways away from a sane and responsible nation.
Ramaswamy isn’t even a natural born citizen and is therefore not even eligible to be president. He is slick, he is charming, he is smart, he has some good ideas, but he is not consistent and seems to be just the next shiny new thing to get people all excited and saying “WOW! He should be president!” And then, of course, the issue of his eligibility.
That may very well be the case with Ramaswamy, but it hasn’t deterred the GOP or his supporters. I think the election of Obama obliterated that litmus test.
Re: the comment from the previous post. I have zero sense of moral purity, and anyone who knows me can attest to that lol. My comment “I’m in good company” was just acknowledging that standing up against an authoritarian government is, and should be in Americans DNA considering our founding. Additionally my comment “you, not so much” was directed only at Forty. Anybody who supports an authoritarian government, is not historically in good company.
Re: my “adulation” for Trump … it’s not an adulation, it’s an admiration. I admire anyone who built the businesses he did, I admire the family he raised, I admire what he did as POTUS, and I definitely admire his standing up to Americas new Democrat socialist authoritarians. And that admiration grows with every indictment. I think blaming Trump for these indictments, is like blaming women for being raped. I will mention again, there is not one single legitimate crime on behalf of Trump in these indictments. Not one. So while many people find his rhetoric unsavory and irrational, it’s not criminal, and America either has an impartial justice system or we don’t. I can tell you this, if Trump is convicted and imprisoned, then people like me are next. That’s the only reason why I defend him.
I do think the indictments will serve to elect Trump, but of course I could be wrong, and I will be more than happy to vote for DeSantis if he is the nominee.
That may very well be the case with Ramaswamy, but it hasn’t deterred the GOP or his supporters. I think the election of Obama obliterated that litmus test.
I don’t agree. Oh, there was a lot of carefully constructed and nourished hoopla about his citizenship status, which I have come to see as a purposeful screen to distract from the real problems of his identity. But he was a natural born citizen, because his mother was a citizen when he was born. That was a simple fact which was never promoted, because it served the Left to keep the pot boiling so they could both distract from the very real issues of his background as well as set up the stage for being able to howl RACISM every time anyone said anything.
This is not only not a litmus test that can be obliterated merely by ignoring it, it has not been addressed. It was never legally examined, it was never adjudicated, and it was certainly never simply “obliterated” by ignoring it.
I am amazed and, quite frankly, impressed by the success of the Left in generating all that hysteria about Obama’s citizenship status and getting so many of us to follow the strings they dragged in front of us. It was an absolutely brilliant example of mind control, and did a great job of keeping us from focusing on things like the fact he had obviously gotten a passport from another country when he was 21. I think that was probably the biggest problem they had.
At that time we did not allow dual citizenship except in cases where an American parent declared American citizenship of a child but a foreign spouse declared the same for his or her own country. In a case like that, the child could have two citizenships, as Obama did, until the age of 21, when he or she had to declare which was chosen. Naturally, the United States got that far in its legislation and then stopped before establishing a process for doing this, so there is no record of Obama ever making that formal declaration of choosing US citizenship. But getting a passport from another nation so he could travel to Pakistan when he was 21 would have brought up the question of whether he had declared Indonesian citizenship when he was 21, which would have posed a problem for him running for the presidency.
This, and issues like no college records and how he got into Ivy League colleges and who paid for this, posed a real problem for the Left. So the straw man of questioning his citizenship was created. Yes, he was born in Kenya—but it didn’t matter because his mother was a citizen when he was born. All the rest was noise, generated to keep us all focused on everything but that pesky foreign passport and its implications.
And in the meantime, the very real issue of the Constitutional requirement for natural born citizenship to be eligible for the presidency still stands. Even if it had eventually been proved that Obama was NOT a natural born citizen that would hardly have “obliterated” the requirement, any more than getting away with murder means it’s no longer illegal.
That may very well be the case with Ramaswamy, but it hasn’t deterred the GOP or his supporters.
Sadly, this is true. Sadly, because it means that way too many who claim to be conservatives are cafeteria conservatives, like Lefties, picking and choosing which parts of the Constitution they like and which they will just ignore. And, sadly, you seem to find this acceptable.
But it’s probably more that there is just no education about things like this. Just as the courts are spooked by the echoes of the howls about the Court ruling on the 2000 election, to the point of just tucking tails and running scared instead of doing their jobs, I think we as a nation are afraid to open up that “citizenship” thing again after being so traumatized by the Obama strategy.
But this was a very big deal to the Founders. When you read their thinking on the subject, they feared the effects of having a president whose own father had allegiance to a foreign nation, fearing that the son would be deeply influenced by the allegiance of his father. They wanted presidents who had grown up as Americans, sons of Americans, with a family history of allegiance to America.
Obama proved the wisdom of this as, even though he was technically a natural born citizen due to his mother’s citizenship, his father’s hatred of the United States and his allegiance to Communism clearly shaped Obama’s character and his presidency.
Ramaswamy’s parents are still not, as far as anyone can tell, citizens. They have so little allegiance to this country they can’t even be bothered to become citizens. Even Vivek only focuses on how they benefitted by being able to live and work here. No matter how much he, personally, might claim to be a bone-deep American patriot, he is still an example of what the Founders wanted us to avoid—so much so that they wrote it into the Constitution.
I suspect Cluster’s right that the election of Obama pretty much eliminated the Natural Born Citizen requirement as a consideration. And Obama may actually be a Natural Born Citizen. If he’s not, the proof has been buried so deep that, like the truth behind the JFK assassination, we’ll never know in our lifetimes. Quite frankly, I’m amazed that NO ONE has filed a court action to resolve the Natural Born Citizen to at least have the courts weigh in.
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.
That would appear to disqualify Kamala Harris as her office when she was Senator bailed out rioters who burned down Federal Buildings and encouraged said rioters to continue to act in a lawless and violent manner. You can’t get more insurrectiony and rebellious than that.
… shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same
Ok good. Trump is in the clear. Hillary on the other hand should be in trouble. I think paying foreign adversaries to falsify damning information against a sitting POTUS and impeaching him over it, is in fact an insurrection.
(Also, Kamala Harris didn’t bail out rioters, nor did her office.)
https://nypost.com/2021/09/08/bail-fund-backed-by-kamala-harris-freed-man-charged-with-murder/
So she, as a prominent Democrat politician, supports and encourages donations to this organization but that’s way different than actually bailing them out herself. Is that it? What if she herself donated to the organization? Would that change anything?
This argument is a lot like Joe’s argument claiming he never spoke to his son about business, or never was in business with him, or never spoke to his associates, or never profited, or ???? Does anyone know what narrative they’re using today?
The fact that you consider Jan 6 to be an insurrection just exposes you as a propagandist. If that was actually an insurrection, then you have to admit that your beloved leaders almost lost the country to a bunch of unarmed 50 year olds. Pelosi even put up fences to protect herself from some imaginary threat. I think America deserves stronger and better leaders?
You didn’t address whether or not she donated. Are you curious? Would that change anything? I know Democrats like you never want to be held accountable for anything and that’s why crime is rampant, wars are raging, homelessness is increasing, and sex trafficking is exploding. You just admitted why people like you are a direct threat to our Republic.
Well if that’s the case, then people you support and love almost lost the country to a bunch of unarmed 50 year olds. It’s laughable and you should be embarrassed.
So were mask mandates “respecting the Constitution”? How about Covid vaccine mandates? How about Hillary using an off site personal server to conduct government business? Does that respect the Constitution? How about fabricating crimes against political opponents? Where is that in the Constitution? How about threatening parents who speak out at school board meetings?
Holy shit I could go on and on and on about how much you “respect the Constitution”
Oh and another one just from today … how about removing Glenn Beck’s podcast? Does the respect the Constitution?
She tweeted support for the bail fund. She didn’t bail them out, nor did her office, which is what Spook claimed.
Yeah, my bad, I overstated the extent to which Harris supported real insurrectionists and anarchists, just like the Georgia prosecutor overstated the legality of Trump’s tweets. From the Georgia indictment:
OTOH, a number of Biden campaign staffers DID donate money to the bailout fund in 2020.
They never want to be held accountable and unless and until their voters hold them accountable, the crime and chaos will continue. The good news is, I think the majority of Americans are now realizing how decrepit these people are. And how could they not? They live in filth.
Oh please. All of those issues I mentioned, Hillary in particular, have been discussed repeatedly and none of them comport with the Constitution. Remember when James Comey detailed Hillary’s crimes then said “no reasonable prosecutor” ??? What a joke. I could have litigated that case. And really any rudimentary reading of the Constitution tells us that censorship is a clear violation, sorry you missed that part. And even private companies can not violate individuals free speech particularly when they receive government immunity. Next
I just explained it to you. Hint: crimes involving censorship and destruction of government documents are violations of the Constitution.
And section 230. Remove government protection and they can do what they want.
Hey forty, let me know if you see yourself in any of the following
Newt Gingrich: “I think what you’re seeing tonight is one tree in a forest, and I think we are drifting towards the greatest Constitutional crisis since the 1850s, uh, and the rise of secession and the Civil War. I don’t mean that as hyperbole. Uh, if you read Andy McCarthy’s remarkable book, Ball of Collusion, which came out in 2019, he makes very clear that it is Barack Obama who corrupts the Justice Department, it is Hillary Clinton who routinely breaks the law and gets away with it. And now we have Joe Biden who’s learned, he’s learned from Obama that is doesn’t matter what you do, if you’re a liberal Democrat, you will not be prosecuted. He learned from Hillary that a person in high public office can get millions and millions of dollars. And they learned from watching Donald Trump that a true outsider, willing to take on the entire system, could destroy their entire machine. So what you’re seeing across the country, is a desperate, last-ditch effort by a corrupt machine to destroy their most dangerous opponent in a way which not only breaks the Constitution, destroys the rule of law, and establishes a moment of bitterness, uh, which I think will last for a generation or more. I think this is gonna be a horrendous period and we just need to understand: The people who want to control America and dictate to the rest of us will break any law, lie about any topic, and manipulate the system any way they can, and that includes a lot of the elite news media.”
And you know I hate to have to repeat myself with you but will again because the government surveillance of school board meetings and they’re threats against parents is the most disturbing violation of the Constitution in recent American history.
Um …. because Iowa, New Hampshire, S. Carolina, and Nevada pretty much determines who prevails. Most candidates drop out after S. Carolina
It’s pretty hard to insult me lol. I’ve raised children
I think a team of psychologists is needed to study and ascertain why so many suburban, educated, white women have lost their freaking minds …
Chief psychologist of California children’s hospital claims kids can identify as ‘gender minotaurs’ as she celebrates ‘revolution’ by youth who ‘know more than we do’
Most kids don’t know shit. Especially this poorly educated generation.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12413067/Chief-psychologist-California-childrens-hospital-claims-kids-identify-gender-minotaurs.html
So a chryon headline on Fox got my attention this morning. It said
“NJ Judge to decide on parent rights on children’s gender”
Has there ever been a more Orwellian headline? And do you think people like me, or Spook,or Amazona, or Mark, etc., would ever defer to a judge regarding our childs gender???? That’s laughable. Who do these people think they are?
Here’s the current state of America in my opinion … Democrats and Conservatives live in two completely different realities and the two can not coexist any longer. We are soon to reach a breaking point.
This is funny in a sad, bizarre sort of way (hat-tip Jeff Childs)
They eventually have to run away from every brain damaged policy they implement. These are extremely stupid people.
Those employees will continue to vote for Dems.

That is the mentality of incompetent people who should never be in a position of control.
Is It Time to Ban Electric Vehicles?
It will become tougher and tougher for the those pushing this and other “green” technologies when the downsides become too prevalent to ignore, though much of the media, profiteering companies and politicians will attempt to do so.
