Get Ready for the Psy-Op

No, as it turns out, I won’t watch a minute of the DNC. Reminder: I almost didn’t watch the Trump-Biden debate because I find Biden to be such a vile person that I have no desire to hear him speak as if he’s on an equal moral or intellectual level with me. It is 50/50 whether I’ll watch the Trump-Harris debates. I utterly despise these people. They are evil. Cruel. Corrupt. Stupid. Anti-human. Anti-American. I want them permanently removed from power and I want them punished under law for what they have done. So, yeah, I’ll be watching something else while they talk.

I will check out the X feed though.

But no matter what you do this next week, keep in mind that you are being targeted by a massive psy-op. It is designed to get you to quit; to think that Harris is genuinely popular and that Trump is a worn out has-been headed for defeat. They will have polls showing precisely this. I mean really big this time – national leads of 5 or more and there will be polls showing her down only 2 in Ohio and 1 in Florida. It will be the most absurd set of lies ever produced. A level of lies that Goebbles would have rejected as too implausible. Don’t fall for any of it.

The race is about whether or not people want a continuation of the last 4 years. That is what a Presidential election is always about. If things are going well, then the party in power is usually rewarded with another 4 years even if the incumbent President isn’t on the ballot. 2000 was a rare exception here – and that was a photo-finish that very easily could have gone the other way. There are no objective factors which indicate that people want 4 more years of Democrats or that they think Kamala Harris is someone of wisdom and courage able to lead the United States. Objective factors, by the way, does not include polls. Polls are weak reeds under the best of circumstances and they will be warped heavily over the next ten days or so.

It is after that you’re looking to. Especially after Labor day. Trump will start the knock down actually during the DNC – he was going to lay low but now there are several events…and they will get coverage just when the Democrats want all eyes on their psy-op. A message of courage and hope will come straight from Trump just while the op is telling everyone to give up, Trump can’t win. But it is still after Labor day that the real battle starts – and what I believe will end up being a step-by-step dismantling of the entire Harris propaganda effort. Trump did it in 2016 and he’ll do it again in 2024…except this time with far more muscle.

Get ready??? We have been living a massive psy op since 2020. Covid was a psy op designed to instill fear and compliance. The 2020 election was a psy op designed to make us believe a twice failed POTUS candidate received the most votes in American presidential history by campaigning from his basement. Jan 6 was a psy op. Climate change is a psy op. Trans rights is a psy op. White supremacy is a psy op. 95% of the American media is a psy op. And the reason why these psy ops work, is because too many Americans now don’t think. They emote. And they are narcissists. Over emotional narcissists should never become a political party.

And EVEN IF YOU DON’T WIN AT ALL, you still get a trophy.

Are there any other devout Christians here who sense that something interesting is happening within the Conservative Christian community? A younger me would be hoping that the protestors at the DNC burn Chicago to the ground. Lately I’m witnessing a common phrase among my Christian friends when discussing the election and all related events: “God’s will be done.”

I do believe we Christians have become too soft but I also believe that is changing. Our God is the God of Love and Mercy – infinite, endless mercy extended to people who in no way deserve it. And as it says in the Bible if we do not extend mercy then none will be shown to us. But I think we have too much set aside the fact that justice exalts a nation but sin is a peoples disgrace (Proverbs 14:34). I do not believe that God would have us live in disgrace if it can be avoided, even if the only way to avoid it is via the sword. Never call God to witness for your actions because you can never be sure…but if the only way for us to protect the people is to take down the wicked, then I think we have a moral duty to do it…we certainly don’t want to go before God and say, “sure, I’d have like to have stopped the wicked from destroying lives, but a Libertarian said I shouldn’t.”

I am getting very stern in my views. Not merciless – I’ll extend mercy…to anyone who asks for it. But first they do have to ask and they won’t ask until they feel it.

He makes an excellent point. I had never looked at it that way before.

Christianity is speaking up in places we might not have expected. This article has two great music videos—one is the powerful “Jesus Christ” and one is—-well, you should just watch it and see what you think.

I’ve become quite a Michael Knowles fan and in this podcast, near the end, he makes some excellent observations about religion.

He starts off with political stuff including observations of the Dem Convention (including the observation that the cheering of “Thank you, Joe” is a thank you for stepping down in acknowledgement that he would have dragged the party down with him, hardly a flattering benediction) and near the beginning is a Harris video from 2019. Not that it’s significant, but tell me—if you look at it, isn’t it clear that she has surgically altered her nose? The woman has had some work done in the last five years.

Add to that, the party that says walls don’t work to keep people out, and photo IDs are racist and disenfranchise minorities have built a wall around the DNC and are requiring a photo ID to get in. Hypocrisy writ large.

      • Cluster's avatar Cluster August 20, 2024 / 8:10 am

Democrat hypocrisy is off the charts. And what in the hell is wrong with Democrat women?

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona August 20, 2024 / 1:10 pm

what in the hell is wrong with Democrat women?

It’s a great question. The answer seems to lie in a toxic brew of paranoia, innate insecurity masked by bravado in the form of aggressive hostility, and a desire to be thought of as insightful and farseeing while never being able to look beyond their own self-imposed limitations. One example:

The New York Times has published a piece declaring that “mama bear” is a dog whistle to white conservatives, because, we are told, there has certainly never been a mama bear with brown skin. “No one who looks like [Kamala] Harris can be a mama bear….The power of [black mothers’] grief visibly threatens the power structures of white supremacy.”

        Come again?

The author of the New York Times op-ed further attests that there are “racial fears that nonwhite motherhood stokes in this nation’s soul.”

Okay, to “paranoia” we can add “narcissism”—the conviction that others are obsessed with them. Who gives a flying flip about “nonwhite motherhood” aside from the fact that it appears to be in many cases simply biological with little or no actual “mothering” involved and that it too often lacks “nonwhite fatherhood”.

I’ve never thought or acted in terms of race, until it has been shoved in my face the last few years, and one result has been the observation that if there IS a “power structure of white supremacy” it is because it works. Show me a “power structure” of black supremacy that has resulted in the expansion of personal liberty, economic progress and functional government and we can talk.

Ditto, by the way, for “Leftist supremacy”.

At 80 dollar ah hour in overtime pay and 150 dollars a day deployment pay would not want to go. Plus the fact that mayor conehead

hasn’t authorized the outsides any police powers, all they can do is sit around their crummy store room/barracks all day long.

No, as it turns out, I won’t watch a minute of the DNC.

I haven’t either, but I was at an eye appointment yesterday, and the guy across from me in the waiting room was watching something on his phone. I asked him if he was watching the Democrat Convention. He nodded, and then said, “I can’t decide if they’re commies of fascists, and I’m not sure they know themselves.” I said, “I think it’s some bizarre combination of the two,” and he agreed, and said “God help us.”

    LOL! (Hat tip Jeff Childers)

Inside the Convention, Kamala Harris was advertised as the next best idea the Democrats ever had. They got the idea to coup the party’s elected nominee after a night of scheming and hard drinking with some Ukrainian oligarchs, fresh off the Nordstream bombing. (Around 2am, the conspirators had first voted to replace Biden with an animatronic donkey, but some more votes unexpectedly came in while Nancy was in the bathroom, so Kamala won by a nose.)

    • Retired Spook's avatar Retired Spook August 20, 2024 / 9:30 am

      More from Jeff Childers.

The real race starts in three days, as soon as the Convention ends. Politico pointed out that Kamala still must bridge the Israel-Palestine divide (protestors outside the Democratic border wall called her “Killer Kamala”). She must face reporters, currently relegated to a tent outside the Convention hall, who are still waiting to ask her some questions. And her recently unveiled economic plan landed flatter than a French crepe.

🔥 A few other cracks appeared in the Democrats’ color revolution. For instance, the AP ran a story yesterday headlined, “Democrats approve a platform that mentions Biden’s ‘second term’ despite his making way for Harris.” Last night, Democrat delegates unanimously approved the 2024 party platform. The problem was, nobody edited it since early July, before they yeeted Joe. So the official 2024 Democrat Party Platform describes Joe Biden, not Kamala Harris, as the nominee.

      image 2.png

In fact, the 92-page document mentions Biden nearly 300 times, compared to only a couple dozen references to Harris. Walz’s name is entirely missing.

It’s almost like the platform doesn’t matter, and it was all just for show. Or maybe they’re leaving room for a last-minute replacement.

Does this seem like merely a minor oversight, a forgotten formality? Or is it more serious evidence of a lack of attention to detail, Democrats moving too fast, and a leadership vacuum? What else might they be forgetting?

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona August 20, 2024 / 10:28 am

Come on! Are they saying they don’t have a digital copy of that platform they could run through to replace “Biden” with “Harris”? I’m a tech dinosaur (I still think that thing I carry around with me is to make phone calls and take pictures) and I could do it.

Does this seem like merely a minor oversight, a forgotten formality? Or is it more serious evidence of a lack of attention to detail, Democrats moving too fast, and a leadership vacuum? I’d take a look at Door # 3, which is that they know Harris is a loser and don’t care so why bother. What else might they be forgetting? “Forgetting” or just preemptively setting up an excuse for losing? Or maybe a big middle finger from the DNC that wanted Biden all along and got saddled with Mattressback Kammy and Soupy Sales’ ugly kid brother?

(Maybe the ballots will be for Biden/Harris, too.)

It does seem a bit disorganized, doesn’t it? Keeping ol’ Joe up late last night – what that just a planning error, or a last insult?

Everyone should keep in mind that Harris isn’t a brilliant strategic move – she’s a desperate ploy to stave off a loss of 40 House seats. Democrats would love it if she pulled off the miracle and won the White House, but their whole effort since half way into the first debate was how to prevent a political meltdown.

  6. Cluster's avatar Cluster August 20, 2024 / 10:12 am

I’m old enough to remember hearing the exact same speeches we heard last night from Democrats over the last 40 years, and also old to enough to realize that they have yet to resolve anything they complain about.

They are a rare breed – especially the on-camera talent (I understand that a lot of the blue collars who actually make the movies happen are GOP…but silent for fear of losing their jobs). I’ve always put this down as guilt – they know they’re getting paid huge amounts of money for doing nothing of any great importance…and so their Liberal Guilt kicks in and they figure to “give back”, they should be Left (they never really get around to giving back the money).

Kentucky governor Andy Beshear tries to trash-talk JD Vance by snarking that he isn’t really a Kentuckian, then smarmily intones his belief in the Golden Rule, then says he wishes Vance’s daughter would get raped so “Vance” could “go through” that experience.

Sadly, Beshear could be the poster child for the Left—-trying to put on a pious and sincere face to hide a truly vicious and degenerate person.

    • Retired Spook's avatar Retired Spook August 20, 2024 / 6:42 pm

Yet another example (among many) of the fact that Liberalism is a mental illness.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona August 20, 2024 / 6:44 pm

Beshear, a Democrat, appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe a day after Harris announced her bid for president. The Kentuckian gave his endorsement to the vice president, adding that he wants “the American people to know what a Kentuckian is and what they look like. Because let me just tell you that JD Vance ain’t from here.”

Vance—who was born in Middletown, Ohio, but has family roots from eastern Kentucky—hit back at Beshear, a scion of a Kentucky political family and son of a former governor.

“Eastern Kentucky will always have a special place in my heart,” Vance said, per a report from Politico’s Meridith McGraw Monday. “It’s very weird to have a guy whose first job was at his dad’s law firm and inherited the governorship from his father criticize my origin story.”

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona August 20, 2024 / 6:48 pm

Beshear’s rape comment only highlights the Left’s perception that pregnancy is a tragedy, a “problem” that must be “solved”–never a gift, never an opportunity, never a beginning of a whole new life. As Obama said, a “punishment”.
