And Off We Go!

Now the final push begins. According to some polling, Harris is doing ok. According to other polling, Trump is doing ok. But in almost all polling Trump is doing better than he ever did in 2016 or 2020. Most thinking people put the race as a tossup and that’s probably the best way to go. Always play like you’re a few points behind, right?

But as I said early on, I do believe that Trump’s program isn’t just to get a narrow Electoral College victory like he did in 2016 and nearly got in 2020 in spite of massive cheating…I think he wants a big victory. Maybe even an absolute popular vote majority. In service to that, Team Trump has invested a lot in reaching out to less likely voters – that is, voters who don’t always vote. Pretty much universally among such people Trump is up huge…like 15+ points from what I’ve seen. If Trump can get these people to show – and they do have incentive this year to do so – then all polling is drivel…because especially lately polling has tried to screen for Likely Voters…which naturally excludes people who don’t vote on the regular.

Low turnout election: favors Harris.

High turnout election: favors Trump.

I did find out from some actual polling experts that newly registered voters are counted in Likely Voter screens – the assumption, which I think correct, is that if you just registered to vote then you’re motivated and will show. But I also wonder about the response rate for such voters? Especially Trump voters? You see, someone who just registered to vote with an eye to pulling the Trump lever is probably someone highly suspicious…you know, unlikely to pick up the phone and answer a pollster. This along with irregular voters means there could be a large swath of voters simply not showing up in the public polls.

But what of the private polls? That we don’t know – and if internals are leaked, they are leaked to get us to think a certain way. Looking at ad spending there is no big surprise – both teams are pouring the money into the Battlegrounds and pretty much matching each other. But I note that Team Harris has been spending some time in New Hampshire and Virginia…States which the flip from Biden to Harris was supposed to put out of Trump’s reach. Why campaign in places you’ve locked down? Of course you don’t. Additionally, Harris is now calling in Pudding Brain – his use will be selective but that they have to use him indicates, in my mind, a huge problem for Harris among blue collar voters. We just went through a month of “Joe, who?” from Harris and the Democrats…now he’s back. Looking terrible and sounding more senile than ever…I mean, how desperate are you to think that the Scranton Joe drivel will work again? Especially as Scranton Joe can barely string a coherent sentence together?

I’m also noticing that the lies keeping Harris afloat are getting threadbare…there are just so many of them and they are so obviously lies. It looks like she may have even lied about working at McDonald’s. Remember, she’s the daughter of a rich Commie father and a privileged Indian mother. She tries to talk like she’s just some poor kid but her mother was an oncologist. Even in the 60’s and 70’s, such doctors were making big bucks. She was never poor. Never lacked resources. Wouldn’t have to take a part time job. I thought it credible at first that she might have – earn a few extra bucks, ya know? But now it looks like even that might not have happened. As for Walz, there’s pretty much no biographical detail he hasn’t lied about – and this is before Team Trump starts asking how a teacher managed to afford 30 trips to Communist China. I do suspect that people are starting to see through it all – that Harris is nothing but lies.

I do think Harris will show for the debate. Some people think she’ll find an excuse to back out. But I figure she’s gotta show: no matter how much MSM spin there’d be on it, it would look just terrible if she backed out. How will it go? I’m sure she’ll have her mindless platitudes memorized and, of course, the MSMers will pitch softballs at her…as well as do other things to protect her from Trump. But at the end of the day she’s not a good speaker, she can’t think on her feet and her voice and personality are grating. They’re not hiding her for no reason: if she was even reasonably competent in front of an audience they’d have her out there unscripted on the regular. She’s just terrible at it. She had to bow out before a vote was cast in 2020 for a reason. Of course no matter how it goes the MSM will call it the best debate performance ever seen…but the people will be watching and if Trump is in any way a credible alternative, he’s going to walk away with the debate.

I’m still serene. Confident of victory. Maybe I’m foolish about it but I just don’t have any jitters about it. Perhaps I’m just getting old now and so feel I have less at stake? I don’t know – but I feel great about it all. I’m enjoying this election more than any I’ve ever experienced.

Perhaps I’m just getting old now and so feel I have less at stake?

Well, you’re not nearly as old as I am, but I kind of feel the same way. When Obama ran in 2008, and those of us who were curious read everything we could about him, including his two books, we saw his hatred for America, and we heard him say “in 5 days we’re going to fundamentally transform the United States of America.” We concluded that, should he win, America would never be the same (he literally pledged that that would be the case). But then he was elected, not once, but twice, and the country survived, albeit not a better country after he left. And the fact is that he never really left. He and his disciples are still in charge, and the current administration has just been his third term (and we’ve still survived). You can see their handiwork in the remake of Kamala Harris once they realized that Biden had stuck them with her on his way out the door. The fact that they appear to have largely gotten away with such subterfuge is a testament to just how much of the media they control, and how well they control it. Their problem is that they can’t control what people pay for groceries, or gas, or rent, or mortgage payments, or insurance, or property taxes, or healthcare, or the level of crime, and illegal immigration. All of those things have gone up precipitously under Biden/Harris. Now Harris is promising to fix all those things, and even people who don’t normally follow politics are saying, where the fu*k have you been for the last 3-1/2 years, and why do you have to wait till January to get started?

I think the only way they can get away with their remake effort is a new Basement Campaign, which would mean a new deadly lethal fatal toxic disease sweeping the country and they are kind of running out of time (and credibility) to pull that off a second time. But as long as they let Kammy get in front of a microphone she is going to tank their efforts.

      This is a good example

It really is just very fake, isn’t it? They don’t care, of course. They just want the power – they know with the power they can just do what they want and they also figure that since they were able to get Joe in, they can get anyone in…just say whatever words are necessary!

But I think they’re pushing it too far this time.

Remember that awkward photo op effort of Kamala showing how easy it is to recharge an electric vehicle? She stood there holding the charger plug, the way you would hold the nozzle at a gas pump, and the reactions were hysterical, basically asking if she holds the plug in while making toast.

But do they learn? Thankfully, no, they do not. So now they have her looking oh-so-busy and oh-so-presidential and oh-so-always-in-charge, so much so that she is still on the phone on what is no doubt a very very important call even as she leaves her airplane, which is why she can’t talk to the press, holding the phone to her ear while her earbud cord is dangling.

    Kamala Harris on free speech:

“They are directly speaking to millions & millions of people without oversight.”

“He [Musk] has lost his privileges.” (To which RFK Jr. replies “Can someone please explain to her that freedom of speech is a RIGHT, not a “privilege”?)

The Left cannot tolerate freedom—freedom of thought, freedom of assembly (unless you are rioting, when it is just fine to hang with your antifa buddies throwing bricks) and above all freedom of speech.

So they have started their own Ministry of Truth, with its mantra of “misinformation”, and they have used the law to go after people merely for associating with Trump, and now they are openly stating that *someone* (want to guess who?) has to provide “oversight” into what people can say.

When we all read 1984 as kids I think it was common for us to think, at least a bit, “oh, come on: you can’t really get people to say ‘freedom is slavery’! They’d know!”. Except, now we see it – and it is very easy.

Harris is just a facade – the public face of the Ruling Class. Pretty much all of them in the public eye are. The real drivers of all this are committed Leftwing fanatics in the corporate, education and bureaucrat fields. They take the latest Party Line and spread it and enforce it. Harris just saying what she was told to say. “they’re speaking without oversight”. She probably isn’t fully aware of what she’s saying…no more than the basic, mindless Democrat voter does. It is just what she’s been told to say…the enforcers of Party Line discipline have decreed it so…and almost everyone on the Left is on board. You’ll only find the rarest of dissidents on the Left these days (and, digging down, you’ll find they are more Libertarian than Left).

They will get to Freedom is Slavery before long – unless we stop them.

To me, one of the most significant signs of Leftist lack of intelligence is the whine about “conservative justices” on the Supreme Court. It is a de facto statement of belief that the Court’s purpose is to act as a political surrogate for the people, in a battle of ideologies. So naturally, once a Leftist has picked his team and gotten the jersey, he wants as many of his team as possible on the Court.

And when the Court rules, they see this as a victory or a defeat for their “side”, totally ignorant of the purpose of the Court or the meaning of its rulings.

Part of this is our fault as we do such a terrible job of messaging. We should be relentlessly reminding people that the purpose of the Court is not to take sides on ISSUES but to apply lower court rulings (and possibly other things that have not yet been ruled on, such as election matters) to the Constitution to see if they match up. This should be a focal point of every confirmation hearing, every news article, every talk show discussion, etc. It should be the heading of every SCOTUS ruling, a reminder that the ruling is not on the ISSUE involved but merely, solely, on whether it complies with the Constitution.

When a Liberal justice votes on Leftist preferences rather than on adherence to the Constitution this should be made clear in every comment on her ruling–that by voting for an ideological preference instead of merely, solely, on its compliance with the Constitution she has violated her oath and perverted the purpose of the Court.

“they’re speaking without oversight”. is really just a way of admitting that the Left demands not only “oversight” over what people say (and by extension what they think) they also assume the right to decide what is and what is not acceptable. That is, to define “misinformation” and then filter it out of public discourse and eventually out of private conversations and communications as well.

You’ll only find the rarest of dissidents on the Left these days That’s because we tell them, in so many words, that to abandon the Party means to abandon the ISSUES to which they are deeply, emotionally, connected. We should be reaching out to these people and saying “Keep your issues. They obviously mean a lot to you, but you don’t have to abandon them to vote for conservatives. All you have to do is sort them, filter them, so you understand which of them are in the realm of Constitutionally allowed federal authority and which have to be relegated to state or local powers. We don’t have to agree on the ISSUES that matter to you, we just have to agree on where they fall on the spectrum of political authority.”

If we give Democrats the freedom to walk away from the Party without giving up or compromising on the emotion-based issues the Party pays lip service to, to keep these people in line, they will be able to evaluate the Party for what it is without sacrificing what matters to them.

Pollster Jim McLaughlin told Newsmax on Tuesday that the national polls showing Vice President Kamala Harris with a slight lead over former President Donald Trump are because “the media is under sampling Republicans and they’re under sampling Trump voters.”

Host Chris Salcedo showed McLaughlin a recent poll from ABC News that showed Harris leading Trump by 4 percentage points nationally at 50% for Harris and 46% for Trump. McLaughlin said it’s important to note how often media polls “are biased.”

“And only 29% of the sample in that poll were self-identified Republicans. And if you follow this kind of stuff, if you look and you go back to 2020, Republicans represented about 36% of the actual vote of the people that came out and turned out in the election,” McLaughlin said during an appearance on “The Chris Salcedo Show.”

Anyone who is paying the slightest bit of attention knows this. The whole point of such poling is to discourage Trump voters from voting. That didn’t work in 2016 or 2020, and it’s not going to work in 2024. First of all, fewer and fewer people believe the polls or make decisions based on them, and even fewer believe what the media is telling them. Trust among people who actually think and exhibit a bit of common sense is at the lowest point in my lifetime.

I call them “herding polls” as they seem intended to influence how people vote. Some are quite smitten with them, getting all giddy and “excited” whenever a new tidbit is tossed to them to keep them locked in, but most look at them skeptically. I do think the segmented polls might be more accurate—those surveying specific demographics and their shifts in attitude. As my linked article points out, the big polls under-poll Republicans by at least 7% and then there are the big shifts in black and Hispanic support. Most of the national polls seem to only illustrate the GIGO concept.

In what seems like an endless loop cycle of propaganda bullshit coming from the Regime, femme boy Merrick Garland held a news conference yesterday, seated next to the FBI man who just tried to assassinate Trump, to alert America that … wait for it … Russia is meddling in the 2024 election to help Trump. If it seems like this has happened before you’re not wrong. Also on the horizon is a possible new pandemic but I think they’re running out of time to execute that psy op.

Well Putin has kind of thrown a wrench into the Regime’s plan by endorsing Kamala, and why wouldn’t he? Putin knows exactly how to manipulate Democrats to get everything he wants …. and I’m quite sure Xi is happy with Kamala’s candidacy, he can get what he wants without having to pay off a drug addicted son.

For all of the howling and screeching a few years ago about Putin supporting Trump, it was based on ignorance on many levels, including the basic ignorance of Leftist ideology. A Russian president (or a Chinese one, for that matter) might have a tactical reason to temporarily appear to support an American Republican (probably to create chaos in the US) but ideology trumps everything (no pun intended) and the ideology of the Democrat Party is that of Russia and China. An American president who moves our country farther to the left is an ally of Putin and Xi.

And, regarding Xi—having Walz as VP would thrill Xi and the Chinese Communist Party. Walz loves them, loves the whole communist ideology, taught his students how wonderful it is when everyone makes the same amount of money and gets the same stuff. He even scheduled his wedding to take place on the anniversary of the massacre at Tiananmen Square

So now we are supposed to pretend that “American spy agencies” have any credibility? That they won’t whore themselves out for political reasons? Really?

I wonder how many of these people were in the 51 who signed the statement that the Hunter laptop was a fake.

These people need to catch on to the fact that the internet is forever. It’s not like the old days when the lapdog media would provide cover and memories were short.
