Prior to the allegations against Mark Robinson he was trailing in the polls – which makes you wonder why bring up the allegations in a race that, supposedly, the Democrat was cruising to victory in. Especially six weeks in advance. That sort of story is a kill-shot story to be used in the last week of a campaign so that the target simply lacks the time to respond. After the story came out, Robinson addressed it with a denial…and then moved on. Over this past week he’s been front and center in North Carolina organizing aid for the Helene victims. Talking up love, peace and unity. Its all been great. How’s he polling? Well, even if someone gives you a North Carolina poll, toss it straight into the trash…the State cannot be effectively polled right now as too large a part of it simply can’t be polled.
The fact that the story came out so far in advance – and far enough in advance where the State GOP could have inserted a new candidate – tells me that the polling wasn’t telling the story. It couldn’t be. It wouldn’t have gone like it did if polling was accurate. If you’ve got a ten point lead – as polling said the Democrat did – then you just relax and go on cruise control, more fearful of making a last-minute mistake than anything your opponent is doing. I think that it was a lot closer than polling suggests. That the polls showing Trump up narrowly and Robinson down ten were massively understating GOP support. That’s why you do the hit piece on Robinson. You’re desperately afraid of losing.
But why be so afraid?
I mean, if the Democrats win the NC governorship, its a hold. Democrat replacing Democrat. The GOP will almost certainly control the legislature by large majorities…and with Presidential year turnout, it might be super-majorities again. The governorship of North Carolina was also stripped of some key powers by the GOP legislature. It isn’t that much of a political prize. And Harris’ path to victory doesn’t really go through North Carolina. That is, losing it isn’t at all fatal and if she’s winning it, she’s probably winning big enough elsewhere that North Carolina just doesn’t matter. So, what gives?
The fact that Robinson, after the hit piece dropped, made a brief statement and then moved on. Team Trump never even addressed it. The MSM was rife with stories about how the GOP was in a panic about it, but none of that panic emerged in actions other than Robinson’s RINO staffers bailing out, merely to be replaced by far more rock-ribbed MAGA types. This terrifies the Democrats – that we’re getting candidates and becoming a party that no longer cares what they think. For 80 years every time the Democrats shouted “jump” the GOP asked “how high?”. Not like that any more. We all recognize the damaging nature of the accusation against Robinson but we just don’t care. If the whole thing is true, he’s still the intellectual and moral superior to the Democrat. You can’t get more vile than Democrats these days. They are disgusting liars and any appeal to morality they make is mere hypocrisy. If Robinson loses then that will be lousy but he’s not going to lose because we abandoned him at the behest of sick pro-aborts indicting him on a morals charge.
It isn’t just losing in North Carolina – or nationally – that frightens Democrats. It is who they will lose to. They’re not going to lose to a Bush who will then reach across the aisle to his good friend, Nancy Pelosi. They’re going to lose – to Trump and other MAGA types – to people who don’t care what they think. People who have no friendship or loyalty to them. No loyalty to the system, either. People who have been targeted with disgusting, illegal efforts to destroy them (earlier in the campaign, Robinson and his wife were forced to address the issue that before they married, they had come up pregnant and had opted for abortion…think about how many laws Democrats had to break to find that painful bit of information). We can’t even begin to list all the laws the Democrats have broken to get after Trump…and not just Trump, of course, but anyone who seems an effective surrogate for Trump (it looks like Musk’s Starlink wasn’t immediately available in North Carolina because Biden Administration efforts to hamstring Starlink…all done simply because Musk purchased Twitter and wouldn’t let Democrats censor the Right any longer).
The top of the ticket is, of course, the real fear – that Trump will win and go on a rampage. We hope! But the larger Democrat fear is that all up and down in both elective and appointive office they’ll find people who do not care what Democrats want. Who won’t take their calls. Just won’t be moved to do their bidding. They’ve got this huge power structure in the USA and it is all ultimately dependent upon government money and power…if they don’t have the power they can’t get the money. That is, if they can’t call up a bureaucrat and get their wish, nobody will give them money…which means even fewer people will take their calls and so on in a vicious, power-draining cycle. They’ll still be able to get on CNN to complain about it, but nobody watches CNN. They’re staring at this fate and I do believe they are starting to panic.
They see things like at least 55,000 people showing up in Butler yesterday (this is the number of unique cell phones present – the total number of attendees was certainly significantly larger) and it terrifies them. At least 20,000 of those attendees had never attended a Trump rally before. Harris is set to go on The View and issued a statement lauding American aid to Lebanon. These are the actions of a candidate losing support among core constituencies (that is, only Muslim Americans will be pleased with aid to Lebanon and only upper class urban/suburban women watch The View). Tammy Baldwin refused to campaign with Harris. Tester is running away from the Democrats as fast as he can (it won’t be fast enough). There are deep fears among Democrats about the Pennsylvania Senate race. Early and mail voting continues to be depressing for Democrats as the numbers just aren’t there while the GOP is doing better in both than ever before. We could be at the start of a cascade preference.
Time will tell! But I’m feeling good. I love the smell of Democrat panic in the morning – and I love the new GOP which no longer cares what Democrats think.
The great thing about a Trump “rampage” is that it would be totally legal, and demonstrably an effort to restore law and order and the proper degree of federal authority in the nation. It would be focused on removing those who have abused power and persecuted political opponents under the color of law. (That is, using their status as government officials.) It would be ALL about getting us closer to the Constitutional form of government we once followed, back when we were successful and strong and productive and, overall, a much happier country.
And because all of this is antithetical to everything the Left stands for and fights for, it will be ferociously fought by the Left, with all the propaganda its lapdog media can bring to bear, with violence and with hysteria and with lies. In other words, with the full Leftist playbook.
Looks like House Speaker Mike Johnson finally grew a pair.
Early voting starts in Indiana today. I’m tempted to take advantage of it even though Indiana is solid for Trump. I like the idea of taking a tactic that the Dems have used successfully and shoving it right back in their face.
I will be early voting this year for the first time ever. Lara Trump has done an excellent job with the RNC and she has requested early voting so they can better monitor vote totals and what outreach efforts are still needed to win on election day. I plan to help her out.
I do hope people are paying attention because yesterday the Biden regime told Americans exactly what they think of them. Within a couple hours, the Biden regime announced $157 million dollars immediately going to the citizens of Lebanon because in Kamala’s word, “she cares about the citizens in Lebanon”. Following that, KJP told reporters that Congress will need to come back and authorize more money for Helene victims. When they tell you who they are, believe them, and vote this piece of shit regime out of office.
You’re boring and irrelevant.
And yet here you are LOL, full of venom and hate. Look what Democrats have done to you son. Kari is doing better than Kamala, that’s for sure.
Oh we plan to do a lot more than that. Democrats will pay a very heavy price for what they have done to this country, and that includes Democrat voters.
One thing that leads me to also doing early voting is the new ability of quantum computing to know, within a day or two, if a someone who has cast a vote is registered at a legal address and is, therefore, a legal voter. I am not sure what can be done with that information. I suppose if the ballot has not been opened yet it could be retrieved and discarded, or—-better yet—–kept to aid in prosecution of the person who gave a fraudulent address when registering to vote and then voted illegally
But if this can’t be done, I would like to see this information used as the basis for several lawsuits against the state and against state officials as individuals. When a state runs an election it has a legal obligation to do whatever it can to ensure that the election is legitimate, allowing only legally qualified voters to cast votes and counting only legally cast votes. This obligation goes all the way down to officials, such as governors and secretaries of state and election officials.
I was talking with a lawyer friend about this the other day and said that if a bogus vote is cast it essentially disenfranchises me by canceling out my vote. He thought it over and said he had not thought of it in that way but basically this could be a huge class action suit—if there is proof that, say, 50,000 bogus votes were cast, that means 50,000 people essentially lost their votes because they were canceled out by the fraudulent votes. Who allowed this to happen? The people in charge of maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the voter registration rolls, that’s who, if these fraudulent votes are associated with bogus addresses. All of a sudden we have gone from a vague, amorphous, nonspecific “election fraud” cloud to specific people, with names and job titles.
If poll watchers can document ballots being accepted without signatures or dates, these illegitimate ballots would form their own category of election fraud and disenfranchisement.
OK, so you’ve got the means to identify specific frauds and you’ve got the means to hold individuals accountable—what is the consequence, regarding the election? Simply put, an uncertifiable vote count, proven to be impossible to know with any degree of accuracy because of the number of proven illegitimate ballots cast, cannot be legally certified. If a state does not certify its vote count, or if it does so fraudulently (another lawsuit and possible criminal charges) that means the state loses its Electoral College vote.
That would mean that every voter in that state is now disenfranchised. Too bad, so sad, but now the voters of that state can blame, first, the people responsible and second, the voters who elected them or elected the officials who appointed them. This would bundle the whole stinking mess up to be dumped in the laps of the voters, with the message, to quote Trump, “Do your damned jobs!” The job of voters is not to just pull a lever for someone wearing the right team jersey, or to support an ISSUE but to take the job of governance seriously all the way down to the local levels and choose people who will govern according to the law and not just to advance agendas.
John Kelly lied about WMD in Iraq and because of that, 1,000’s of Americans died. JOHN KELLY IS A COMPLETE PIECE OF SHIT who belongs in prison. But now, Kelly, Dick Cheney, and John Bolton are aligned with Democrats because Democrats have no morals, no integrity and are the new unAmerican war party. That’s who you are. GFY
If these people had a principled, objective commitment to Constitutional governance they would not be randomly shifting their alliances from one party to another, because the core political models of each party are so antithetical to each other than it is impossible to align with one without rejecting the other. What we see instead of objective analysis of the two basic choices we have is spasms of emotion-generated likes and dislikes of a person that are not based in any way on his actual exhibited personal political philosophy. These people are acting either out of a complete absence of intellectual and philosophical backbone or simple self interest or both. The Left will now give them the respect they got, though did not earn, when they postured as Constitutional conservatives. They, like Liz Cheney, are whores selling themselves to the johns who offer them the most reward in terms of fawning press.
There is a limited and emotion-controlled mind that not only can’t see beyond the superficial, it prefers the superficial because of its immediate visceral satisfaction and lack of demand for actual thought, and the more salacious and hyper-emotional the better. This mentality craves the melodramatic, the over-the-top squealing about alleged character and personality defects because this validates their abandonment of personal responsibility to objectively think and analyze. It’s the Twinkie diet of pretended political discourse, empty mental calories wrapped in artificial political information.
The Atlantic caters to this Jerry Springer level of “politics” by amping up fake political rhetoric, wrapping it in pseudo-intellectual jargon to feed the egos of those who feed on this kind of thing, and pumps out reams of shrill propaganda specifically directed at this market. Every now and then I dip my toe in the fever swamp of The Atlantic, just to see if the nature of the swill it feeds its fan base has changed, and it never does. The names of the targets are changed, but it is at its core always the same Leftist propaganda mill garbage structured for a specific audience that needs the pretense of intellectual content.
People like you will lead this country to war, and I kind of hope it happens. Democrats deserve to be punished badly, especially this guy, who will be the first one against the wall
https://x.com/nedryun/status/1843991931530993667?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1843991931530993667%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thegatewaypundit.com%2F2024%2F10%2Fviolence-promoting-leftist-professor-caught-camera-telling-students%2F
This man is simply one of the latest in a long and sordid line of Leftists who demand absolute servitude to their secular religion, with anyone who does not submit being subjected to prison camps or even death. It’s exactly the same political philosophy of the Left wherever and whenever it reaches a level of power and influence that lets it step out from behind its mask of decency. Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, Mao, et al—–all absolutists in their demand that everyone bend the knee to Leftist tyranny.
What we need to remember is that while not all Leftists are this extreme, when they step over the line separating the Right (which in this country is represented by Constitutional governance) onto the Left end of the political spectrum, from that point it is merely a matter of degree. They have rejected the core governmental structure of limiting the size, scope and power of the central government and keeping most authority close to the people, in state and local government, in favor of ongoing expansion of federal powers and creation of a massively powerful Central Authority which then governs/rules from above, imposing its edicts without reference to the will of the people and demanding unequivocal obedience.
Your average Democrat will object to this latter description, but in fact he has taken that first step, donned the team jersey, and committed to voting to support and enable the political model I just described. He is just too lazy to investigate it to find out exactly what he is supporting with his vote, and his posts to blogs like this, and his other enabling behaviors like repeating scurrilous and unfounded claims about the alleged character defects, etc., of the opposition. He’s on the team, he does what makes him feel good (which seems to be based more on personal attacks than anything else and the cheap thrills of ridicule and snickering) and he makes it possible for the real ideologues to pursue the true political agenda of the Left. He will whine “of course I don’t think my neighbor should be shot for voting for Trump” but he will donate to and vote for the party that does.
He will be the 2024 American version of the German shop keeper who didn’t know those Jews being herded into those boxcars were going to be gassed and their bodies burned but who kept voting for Hitler.
Vivek absolutely owns Bolton and defines the Deep State mind set.

Bolton kind of shoots himself in the foot when he suggests that we not allow importation of Chinese goods that are based on technology that China stole from us, and Trump responds that that would eliminate almost all Chinese goods. It wasn’t Trump who allowed China to steal all that technology; it was deep state bureaucrats like John Bolton who allowed that over several decades.
When Bolton said, “they really don’t know what they’re doing”, referring to Trump and all other Presidents for that matter, you know we have a problem. Our elected representatives are merely figureheads at this point, and the bureaucrats run the country. That has to change.
Of late I like to hit the Free Traders with the fact that in WWII the USA equipped 16 armored divisions while giving away 7,000 tanks and 400,000 trucks and jeeps to the USSR. That’s enough to have equipped another 14 US armored divisions. These days, we get a wrecked bridge and we’re hoping that in 2 or 3 years we might have it fixed.
Hat tip Jeff Childers commenting on Tucker Carlson’s interview with Elon Musk.
I read Atlas Shrugged when I was in college. Another 70-year-old novel that we’re seeing play out in real time.
The question is just how many face-punchees will really wake up? An X friend is quite certain that at least for urban and suburban women, the ability to kill kids is more important than anything else.
But outside that insanity, there does have to be a limit…some point where even the most obtuse liberal goes, “you know, this sucks!” and changes their vote accordingly.
Tucker: “If he loses, it’s going to be hard to claim you never supported him.”
Elon: “ALL IN.”
I’m admittedly focused on hurricane stuff right now, as I wait to see how close Milton gets to my Florida house. Ian’s damage to the house itself was limited to losing a bay and door of my pool cage and some battered landscaping, but he took all the avocadoes off my heavily-laden tree, which broke my heart. We got the tree itself propped back up to nearly upright, and it is doing well and has a great crop this year, so I’m waiting to see if I have any avocadoes left when I finally get down there.
Anyway, I have been closely following the disaster in western North Carolina, and the government’s abysmal, nearly criminal, approach to humanitarian aid there. Not doing anything is bad enough, but the feds have been blocking efforts by citizens to help, refusing to allow drones to search for people trapped in isolated areas, blocking rescue helicopters, even refusing to allow truckloads of supplies into the area because they are “not from government approved vendors”.
That’s all bad enough, but then I read about a government helicopter harassing rescue workers and damaging equipment and I thought “I can hardly wait for a decent Commander in Chief to straighten out our military”. Oh, there will be the usual denials, but in the video in this link at the end, on the right side of the screen, you can clearly see the Black Hawk helicopter barely above the vehicles on the ground.
Around lunchtime, Elon Musk shared a dire message from one of his SpaceX engineers on the ground in the storm-ravaged state. Musk said, “FEMA is not merely failing to adequately help people in trouble, but is actively blocking citizens who try to help!”
Musk shared a dire warning from one of his engineers on the ground:
“Hey Elon, update here on site of Asheville, NC. We have powered up two large operating bases for choppers to deliver goods into hands. We’ve deployed 300+ starlinks and outpour is it has saved many lives.
“The big issue is FEMA is actively blocking shipments and seizing goods and services locally and locking them away to state they are their own. It’s very real and scary how much they have taken control to stop people helping. We are blocked now on the shipments of new starlinks coming in until we get an escort from the fire dept. but that may not be enough.”
Also, another report on this incident with video and commentary.
While FEMA is expected to ask Congress for new money, budget experts note a surprising fact: FEMA is currently sitting on untapped reserves appropriated for past disasters stretching back decades.
An August report from the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General noted that in 2022, FEMA “estimated that 847 disaster declarations with approximately $73 billion in unliquidated funds remained open.”
Stay safe
I’m safe, here in Colorado, but I got a call last night from a friend who was flying into Fort Myers because he has several properties near Charlotte Harbor. We agreed that his main house sits high enough to mean even if it floods it is unlikely that it would flood high enough to put him in danger, and it had no damage during Ian so he thinks it is pretty strong, but I’m fine with watching from a distance. I’m going to ask him to go over to my house and throw the breakers to shut off the power when we get closer to landfall.
Talking to a friend about it last night, I said that with Helene the storm surge got within about two feet from the foundation of my house on the back side (it floated my floating dock off its mooring posts but left it in my yard, which was thoughtful) and the way my house is set on my lot even with more flooding the garage would have to have about two feet of water, meaning a storm surge of probably 10-12 feet above the sea wall before anything gets into the house itself and all that really matters to me in the house is my art work and photos, all high enough to be pretty safe—-I think. Anything else would be a hassle but not a tragedy. When I looked up estimates of the Helene surge they were 6-7 feet. Even my 1978 450SL is just a car, though a classic with fewer than 30,000 miles. My boat is anchored to the boat lift, which is raised all the way up. My hurricane shutters are closed. Everything that I can do is done, so all I can do is wait, and pray for those in harm’s way. Most people are gone, so we are probably looking mostly at property damage in SW Gulf Coast Florida, and a lot of it has already occurred with Helene.
GREAT Question … the tide is turning folks. MAGA will win bigly
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/10/harris-scrambles-after-cbs-calls-her-stealing-bidens/
So do you think Joe Biden (and Jill), are quietly killing Kamala’s election chances? I do. And I think it’s hilarious.
There’s clearly no love lost between the camps – and the Biden’s are vindictive SOBs.
Yes they are. Remember when Joe was in Florida in 2022 (I think) and he told that Florida construction worker guy “no one fucks with the Bidens”??
The Biden’s protect their own and I know Jill would put out a hit on Kamala if she could.
Well that’s because Trump is a dictator, and an existential threat to America. C’mon, you know that. Please vote for Kamala
Good, so there is no need to come here anymore. GTFOH
Your side is owned by China and Arab oil money.
Get back to us 25 years after that’s cleaned up and ask us this question again.
Here’s one reason why Democrats are panicked
An internal poll done by Democrat Tammy Baldwin’s Senate campaign last week showed Harris down by 3 percentage points in Wisconsin
The momentum has clearly swung for Trump in the last week or two, and Kamala fuels that momentum with every brain dead interview she does. Honestly, I have never seen a worse POTUS candidate in my lifetime. Mondale was excruciatingly boring, but at least he was smart. And Biden continues to torpedo her campaign by tying her closely to everything he has done every chance het gets.
I hope and pray we are watching the final moments of an American political party that has been hijacked by Leftists, College Faculties, and Federal Bureaucrats who are all supported by Corporate Media propaganda. It’s a highly toxic relationship that has done a lot of harm to the country.

A list of hospitals doing “gender transition” treatments, including surgery to remove or implant breasts, states “The clinic treats “children and adolescents who express a strong desire to be a gender other than that assigned at birth.“
Finally, an admission that these people have “a strong desire to be a gender other than that assigned at birth” rather than a conviction that they ARE a different gender. This is what I have been saying ever since this issue became front and center of yet another Leftist fragment-the-society ploy.
There is a huge difference between “Do you wish you could be a woman?” and “Do you believe that you really are a woman?” I have a feeling that honest answers would be predominantly the first rather than the second, and that would open the door to productive counseling to help understand and deal with this yearning.
We all wish we could be something we are not, and can’t be. I always had a strong desire to be a skilled skier, maybe even a competitive skier. I was limited by the lack of athletic ability and bad knees. I always had a strong desire to be musically talented, being in absolute awe of the combination of skill and innate relationship to music I would see as jazz musicians interacted with each other and the music to spontaneously develop new themes of a melody, but I can’t carry a tune in a bucket and have zero musical talent. I think a lot of men have a strong desire to be talented athletes, to play golf like Tiger Woods or be basketball or football stars. I’ve actually met a couple of men who have fantasized about being James Bond, to the point of incorporating things like 007 into email addresses.
I can understand a wish to be a woman. Womanhood is magical, in that it is women who experience pregnancy and give birth. There can be other reasons a man might wish he were a woman—a perception that life is easier for women, that women get preferential treatment, that less is expected or demanded of women as it is accepted for a woman to have a man “take care of her”, even just a desire to be soft and pretty and wear nice clothes and makeup. But none of these things can be accomplished by cutting off body parts or implanting imitation body parts or changing a name or starting to wear different clothes. Counseling could help these people but instead of counseling they are preyed upon by people using them to act out their own issues and then used as political pawns.
And society lets women cross that gender perception boundary more easily than men. I have always been able to put on my Carharts and get on my giant backhoe to dig a new water trench and then go home, shower, put on makeup and a pretty frock and to out to dinner. Women can do “men things” like drive trucks, build things, operate heavy equipment and so on and move freely between the cultural differences between “men’s work” and “women’s work”. We can wear clothes that used to be reserved solely for men. We can do all of these things without having to pretend we are men. But it’s harder for men to cross those boundaries, which might lead to the assumption that the only way to cross such a boundary is to simply BECOME a woman, rather than move back and forth between what is perceived as womanhood and reality as a man, if the man in question is rather unstable emotionally anyway.
I already made a comment, a day or so ago, about this video clip of Kamala freezing when her teleprompter quit working. The clip showed up again in a different article, and I watched it again, this time to watch the people behind her as she spoke. After casper’s insistence that she gets lots and lots, so very much, ENTHUSIASM something in the still caught my eye so I ran it again.
I already commented on the large black man at the edge of our screen. He is wearing a stocking cap with a badge on it, and looking very bored, and then when she freezes up he lays his sign down and very emphatically makes a hand signal I don’t understand. As I said, no doubt Tyrus could tell us what it means.
But tonight I looked at the other people stuck in the little group (I can’t call it a crowd) behind her. One woman is on her phone. Another woman gets her phone out. Another woman, looking even more bored than the black man, rearranges her pony tail. A man behind Kamala looks ready to fall asleep. Not a single person in this group looks happy to be there, much less ENTHUSIASTIC.
Compare this to the people at Trump rallies.
Kamala’s campaign is …. oh what did Nancy Pelosi call it?? ASTROTURFED. It’s all a fake campaign ran by children
They either never thought to screen the people they put behind her or they just couldn’t find any real supporters and had to order union members to sit there or else. But if they can’t find even a dozen or so true, enthusiastic supporters at one of her rallies, that says a lot. (Maybe they should hire casper to be her traveling Enthusiasm and Excitement manager.)
An image of him trying to get people EXCITED made me think of him channeling Richard Simmons, which reminds me of a split screen video I just saw of Tim Walz on one side and Richard Simmons on the other. Too funny,
The video clip then goes to coverage of rescue efforts in Clearwater, Florida, with the comment that more than 6500 soldiers have been deployed just in Florida for rescue efforts, in addition to other personnel. This is what leadership looks like, compared to the crisis in North Carolina, so close to Fort Bragg with its thousands of military personnel and helicopters and vehicles and it took Biden/Harris days to finally send out 1000 soldiers. (And yes, I do reject the silly pastel “Fort Liberty” tag the wokesters find so precious). The reports I got about my Florida house indicate that any damage is more likely to be from wind than water—still waiting to hear more.
LOL
Kari Lake wiped the floor with Rueben Gellego in last nights debate. And I think the Senate will be ours. Now we just need to win the House and the WH. Momentum is on our side, let’s make it happen

HE WORKED FOR THE CIA. Is anyone surprised?
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13946177/afghan-isis-plot-terror-attack-worked-cia-report.html
He was admitted as a “special immigrant”.
I like how KJP was very insistent that all of the “refugees” were carefully vetted…and I think she really doesn’t understand that this makes it so much worse.
