Did I vote for this?
You mean for Trump’s oft-stated determination that Iran would not be able to obtain a nuclear weapon? You mean his confirmation of official and bi-partisan US policy for the past quarter century? Yeah, I voted for that. In fact, I voted to make sure it would happen – because no other person in office would have done it.
Sure, I would have preferred the Mullahs had bowed to the inevitable. I thought – and Trump probably thought – that the vaporization of Soleimani would convince the Mullahs that Trump’s intentions were serious. I guess it didn’t. They probably thought they could just drag things out and wait for non-Trump to be in office. There is a good chance, after all, that Iranian intel people monitor the American MSM and figure they’re getting an accurate picture of the American political scene. Anyone who takes the American MSM seriously is going to have a massively warped sense of what is going on over here…and if the Mullahs believed that Trump was in trouble over deporting illegals, then that might have convinced them they could dig in their heels and wait him out.

Some people – including some who have been allegedly MAGA – are now lighting their hair on fire over the prospect of Trump sending in the Army. I am convinced this is paid for by the Iranian government…its just too stupid for words. We just showed we don’t need to send in the Army. We can destroy any target we wish in Iran with impunity. Sure, the Mullahs might send their absurd little Navy on a suicide run, but that will be quickly disposed of by the US Navy (sorry, 60 year old frigates and aged Russian Kilo-class subs are going to be sunk before they even know we’re there). They might try a proxy attack using terrorist groups – but Trump has already said that any Iranian retaliation will result in further US attacks…and I doubt that Trump is going to be too concerned about proving Iran was behind any attack…we’ll just assume they were behind it. And if they aren’t behind it, too bad, so sad – when you fund lunatic terrorist groups you takes your chances. Should have thought about blowback a long time ago. Trump did suggest that regime change would be useful but there was nothing in his statement indicating he wants us to forcibly change the regime…and he’s not dumb enough to come before the American people and say he wants to send 250,000 of our sons and daughters to Tehran. Just won’t happen.
And he posted that because he knows – even if his idiotic critics don’t – that the end of the Mullah regime means peace. They are the only people keeping the Islamist nonsense alive. Muslims might very well hate me, hate Jews, hate the USA, hate the west…but from the hate to the suicide vest are lots of steps. Takes lots of money for propaganda, for materials and training…take away that money and the hate might fester but it will fester in a void. Some jackanapes in Cairo ranting about stupid Americans as if we care. It is wise for Trump to put that prospect out there…it gets the Mullahs looking over their shoulders and realizing that, come what may, the oil sales must go on or they’ll run out of money to pay their bully boys – and no bully boys means mobs outside the palace calling for your blood.
As for what the Iranian people want – I couldn’t care less. I’ve seen some people write up how the Mullahs betrayed the Iranian revolution and it sounds like something wise to say and I’ve pretty much accepted it but then it kinda struck me – going back to ancient times, the people of Iran haven’t known a minute of political freedom. They were under absolute monarchy until the 1930’s and then a sort of bogus parliament was created as a fig leaf for absolute monarchy. And even in that absolute monarchy, it was really just a series of competing interest groups trying to be the power behind the throne…mostly in order to steal the money, especially the oil money once that came rolling in. Sure, the Shah was oppressive and by the mid-1970s he was unpopular, but did the mobs demonstrating against him even know what they wanted? Have any conception of what it means to be free? They had never lived it – and going back to their earliest civilized ancestors, they had no experience of it. Very likely they were just being manipulated by the Ayatollah’s people and they eventually got rid of the Shah for him and he just stepped into the role of absolute monarch under a different mask. Basically, it is all nonsense…and in a very real sense, not even a fully real country…just people who happen to speak mostly the same language and hold the same religious beliefs crammed into the borders Russia and Britain drew for them in the 19th century. I mean, for goodness sake, the Shah was trying to take the mantle of Cyrus the Great – the Shah was the son of a usurper placed on the throne by British machinations and here this nitwit was trying to claim he was somehow connected to the founder of the Achaemenid Empire. That isn’t God’s anointed…that is a guy play acting and hoping nobody bothers to check behind the curtain.
I just don’t care what they do. I’m only interested in Iran insofar as they cause my country any trouble. And shouting “death to America” while trying to build a nuke is the definition of trouble. If they had never done anything else to offend us, I’d still want them zapped over that. Call me silly, but when someone says they want to kill me and they’re trying to obtain the means to do so, I’m going to take them seriously and respond accordingly. And it isn’t The Jews making me do this – if Israel didn’t exist it wouldn’t change my view. And, no, I in no way feel morally responsible for their plight…I don’t care about the 1953 coup or anything else the Iranians use as an excuse to hate me. You see, I don’t care if they hate me – and I can’t fix what happened in the past. I only care if they want to kill me. And they have told us again and again they want to kill us. They could stop that at any time and we’d all be cool and happy. Their choice. Not mine.

Remember back in 2009 when the Iranian younger generation rose up and began revolting which resulted in the deaths of many including that pretty young girl Neda? Obama had a chance to speak up and support them but he remained silent, and then of course Obama sent palettes of cash to the Mullahs just before his term ended. Fortunately Obama is no longer in office and neither is any other weak President in place … we now have Trump so I am convinced the Mullahs control of Iran is near an end. Let’s hope the more tempered and westernized generations take over.
What I am a bit concerned about are sleeper cells here in America thanks to Biden. And to that I say, it is not just the Presidents job to keep our homeland safe, it is all of our responsibility so stay vigilant. Especially when in crowds.
Did I vote for this? Hell yes. I really appreciate Trumps approach to this. He tried to resolve it peacefully. He gave the Mullahs incentives to come to the table and Trump even offered to be there himself and when they said no to that (thinking Trump was a weak POTUS), they fucked around and found out. Trump doesn’t fuck around. Iran is the last radicalized Muslim country …. Let’s end it now
Main thing about the Clinton, Obama and Biden Administrations: they were largely staffed with traitors who hate the United States. Clinton brought them in! They were the young staffers under Jimmy Carter. They were the 60’s radicals…hair cut, now in suits…but the same people who rioted in Chicago in 1968 and propelled McGovern to the Democrat nomination in 1972. By the time Clinton came in, they were getting into senior Establishment positions and Clinton filled his Administration with them top to bottom (they were, after all, people just like him). And once in they started to transform the institutions…weeding out all honest and patriotic people while hiring and promoting fellow hate-filled traitors. Even under Bush, they weren’t removed…it was just assumed that if a person was a senior FBI or CIA person, they were patriots first and last. Nope: they were traitors. They were working for American defeat. They hate this country. Obama coming in just put it on steroids while senile Biden simply had no idea what was going on (Trump is right that mentally competent Biden would never have agreed to the invasion by illegals…Biden in possession of his faculties would know instantly that such a thing would destroy his popularity).
Given this, it is no surprise that they essentially took Iran’s side in the USA/Iran conflict. It was all our fault, we were the bad guys and we had to pay for our crimes against Iran. They really believe this. In those rare instances you can nail them down to an answer, that is what comes out.
It must be kept in mind that they want Iran to get the bomb – to thwart us. It is the same reason they transferred all that tech to China and made sure China could flood America with cheap consumer goods…after the fall of the USSR, they needed a new nation to keep America in check. China is it. It can’t be emphasized enough that hatred of the USA, of Americans, of white people, of Christians is their motivating factor…they’ve lately added anti-Semitism to it simply because under Netanyahu, Israel is no longer playing the role of victim on the way to national suicide that it had been playing since Begin left office (they don’t care about the war in Gaza…they care that Netanyahu seems determined to win the war…thus improving the situation and that would make it better for the USA).
We need to be done with Ukraine too. Ukraine was, and still is the most corrupt country in the world and full of white supremacists, of whom Democrats have been in strong support of … ironic right? Democrats don’t fully realize that yet due to their blind and maniacal obsession with Putin, but be sure to remind them of that every chance you get

Personally, I think we should destroy the Iranian navy in response. Total humiliation. The longer they go on, the more humiliating it should be. They must learn that they do not have the power to argue with us.
The goal should be now to end this as quickly as possible, so whatever that entails should be done quickly
I think everyone knows that the new Iranian agreement to a ceasefire is only temporary, till they regroup, but when they start attacking Israel again they probably won’t get much of a warning till the hammer comes down again. And more time to clean up Gaza and deal with Hamas, while avoiding the Strait of Hormuz standoff that was inevitable if Iran tried to act tough.
I like how Trump sorta ordered everyone to quit…and then both Israel and Iran tested that. Trump’s angry statement about Israel this morning was for the benefit of the Arab States…who don’t like Iran or Israel all that much but who are crucial to any long-term peace deal. Trump is trying now for a little bit of a middle course…after proving decisively that when push comes to shove, he has Israel’s back. Now its time for a little adjustment as the Dealmaker in Chief gets to work.

It is basically what I’ve been saying. Iran, of course, is run by insane people and so they obviously don’t know what they’re doing…but you’ll recall that I’ve condemned Israel’s strategy since the start of this war on 10/7.
I said they had to get right on it – total mobilization, total blockade of Gaza. Starve them into submission while continually bombarding anything in Gaza remotely military related. Just absolutely crush those people causing them tens of thousands of casualties for almost no additional Israeli losses. Humiliate them. And quickly. Should have been over in a month. Two at the outside. Nothing compels surrender more than hunger…it has brought low defended places since the beginning of humanity. I don’t care how tough and committed you are, when you haven’t eaten in three days, you’ll do just about anything to get some food.
But Israel is essentially governed by what we in America call upper class urban whites…their primary focus from the get-go was release of the hostages who should have been counted as dead for strategic purposes (getting any back alive is pure gravy…that is hard and it is sad but it is how it has to be). They played around with a slow mobilization and trying to pin point target things and what a**hole in IDF high command though it was a good idea to send IDF soldiers rooting around Gaza sewers? Are you trying to give the enemy propaganda victories? FFS!
So, yeah, Trump is right: they don’t know what the f*ck they are doing. They are part of that global class that doesn’t know how to fight a decisive war…which worries about being accused of war crimes by people who’s whole existence is murder, rape and theft. This thing will go on forever…unless Trump can knock some heads together.
