God Help Us

All I have to say right now is that the left wing of this country ought to be ashamed of themselves. There was a clear choice on Election Day… We had a hero and a zero. The left, with the help of their friends in the media, delivered a victory for the zero.

As I look to the future, the next four years anyway, it is not hope I feel, but fear. I fear the devastating damage that Barack Hussein Obama will do to this country. I am so scared for our country, and the future of our liberties that I have experienced actual physical pain.

In two short years the Democratic majority killed the booming economy. They ended record-breaking economic growth and historically low unemployment. It only took them two years with a congressional majority…. With the presidency and Congress, the damage they could do is just frightening. Our economic freedom, freedom of speech and our right to bear arms are at risk… and that is just the beginning.

This election result is an embarrassment. The American people lost big last night. I just hope we’ll be able to undo the damage Barack Hussein Obama and the Democrats in Congress inflict on our beloved country.

Election Night Coverage

I am working my day job today, but tonight I will be doing a live video broadcast at the Erie County Republican Committee Victory Party.

I will be interviewing local campaigns and candidates for my site The Buffalo Bean, as well as covering the presidential results.

Starting around 8:30/9 PM ET I will be starting the video broadcast, which you can view below (just click the video display to turn it on) … When I go live i will have it turn on automatically.

UPDATE, by Mark Noonan: Reports of voter intimidation are starting to come in…leftists attempting to suppress the GOP vote. Welcome to Liberal Fascism, ’08. Remember if you find voter intimidation and/or voter fraud going on, don’t confront it yourself, call 866-976-VOTE and/or call the local police. It is against the law for anyone to in any way, shape or form intimidate you into voting one way, or not voting at all. The hard left is determined to win this one for Obama – we of the center and the right must defeat them.

My Election 2008 Prediction

Well… Here it is…In spite the polls, I think McCain will win, and a few surprises await us.

http://mattmargolis.predictnovember.com/iframe.php

I should make a few points to explain certain selections:

  • Nevada: I originally did not have Nevada to go for McCain, but my Mark, is confident it will. I will trust his opinion on that
  • Colorado: I think there is a chance McCain could take it, but I expect it to go for Obama.
  • New Mexico: Same as Colorado. McCain could win it, but soures tell me that Bush won New Mexico mostly because he had a superior ground game, an advantage I am not convinced McCain has this year.
  • Iowa: I was curious about Obama’s recent stop there, but still think he takes it.
  • Minnesota: I hear it is close again in Minnesota.. But McCain pulled out of there and and I wrote it off then too.
  • New Hampshire: Another state I believe McCain has a good shot at taking, but still giving no Obama.
  • Pennsylvania: This state, I believe, is going to be the prize of 2008. And based on various sources I have (and recent events) I think McCain is going to pull off an upset there.

I am sure the lefty trolls will write this off as over confidence, But I believe one way or another, McCain will be elected President. I sit here tonight, confident of victory. I was more nervous four years ago than I am now. McCain will be our next president.

McCain Leads In Single Day Zogby Tracking Poll

From Drudge:

ZOGBY SATURDAY: Republican John McCain has pulled back within the margin of error… The three-day average holds steady, but McCain outpolled Obama 48% to 47% in Friday, one day, polling. He is beginning to cut into Obama’s lead among independents, is now leading among blue collar voters, has strengthened his lead among investors and among men, and is walloping Obama among NASCAR voters. Joe the Plumber may get his license after all..

Obviously, the quick rebuttal is that national polls don’t matter… state polls do. Fair enough. But one cannot deny the obvious trend in McCain’s favor over the past week. This means that with the election a few days away that momentum is on his side. This makes a good case for him to carry the last minute undecided voters who could decide the election.
