So, Joe and Mika (Morning Joe hosts, in case you totally forgot they existed) went to Mar a Lago to talk to Trump…they announced it like it was some grand gesture on their part, Trump acknowledged it with the contempt it deserves. It is obviously just a ploy for ratings. The MSM was quite proud of its high ratings on Election Day…which were driven up late by all of us tuning in to watch them melt down over the results…but since the 6th, they’ve been dropping like a rock. Even the Liberals are tuning out. They’ve got nothing left to say.

That is, as long as they lie they’ve got nothing to say. And that is their whole problem: their total existence has been to propagate lies for the DNC and it failed…it didn’t keep Trump out. It only barely got him out back in 2020. In Trump, we’re dealing with a once in a century political phenomena and the media simply blew it…and destroyed their last shred of credibility in the process. Already rumors of large scale layoffs and reorganization float around Social Media.

Say what you want about Trump, but he’s popular now. No, the polls will never let him have, say, 60% approval ratings because that would just be too horrible for them to allow…but when sports stars are doing the “Trump Dance” in the end zone, you know which way the wind is blowing. The last 4 years will be a footnote in history…the histories written about these times will focus on Trump from 2015 to 2029…what he was doing and saying, and only bringing in his opponents, from Biden on down, to discuss how badly they misjudged Trump. The physical event which wrought this was Butler, PA…but it had been building for a while as a man who has masterful skills in PR simply used those skills to best effect to make people nostalgic for 2019 and fill them with hope for 2025.

This is why the Speaker came to MSG on Saturday with Trump. It is why the incoming Senate Majority Leader is talking up how committed he is to the Trump agenda and is ok with recess appointments if necessary (they likely won’t happen: but its a good threat to have to convince everyone to go along)…he’s talking up having the hearings for the major appointees wrapped up by January 20th so Trump can really hit the ground running. People who really know understand what has happened…and so do people who know less, but who are also a bit media savvy…like Joe and Mika.

What will actually happen remains to be seen. Trump is stepping back into a looming Recession (in fact, we’re probably already in one) with wars around the world and criminal gangs determined to keep the drugs and slaves flowing into the USA. It is going to be rough – and Trump still has a lot of weak-kneed GOPers to deal with and Democrats who are still certain they can lie their way out of this. I have confidence in Trump’s skills but he’s got FDR-sized problems on his plate and he has less time and a much smaller Congressional majority to deal with them. But for the next two years, it is all Trump – only as we head into the mid-term scrimmage will there be a hint of GOP opposition (and none of that if things go reasonably well over the next two years). Our job, as citizens, is to give him his chance.

We Are All Americans (Even the Leftist Lunatics)

Sure he’s trolling them – but it is also a grand and noble gesture. The hate in America all stems from the Left. They have spent decades dividing people. Saying this group has to hate that. Telling this group they are inherently evil, that other group they can do no wrong. Their lies have bred intense mistrust amongst the American people. But here comes Donald Trump after a decisive victory offering them the olive branch.

While they might end up taking the money, they will reject the peace offer with scorn. Already Democrats are gearing up for another round of #Resist drivel. That is both foolish and wrong of them – it is morally wrong because there is nothing to resist (we aren’t actually bad guys) but it is also foolish. However you may think of Trump, the American people gave him a decisive victory. After nine years of Democrats throwing everything they can at him, the American people considered every point of view and every assertion and awarded a majority of their votes and 312 of their Electoral Votes to Donald Trump. It is done. Over. Finished. Sure, Democrats, start laying your plans for 2026 – that is just politics. But if you go obstructionist on grounds the American people just rejected, you’ll find that the normal mid-term snap back against the ruling party doesn’t happen. The American people want peace and prosperity…not interminable political trench warfare.

Another thing Trump announced as a desire to revive the New York City subway system. After all the evil things NY Democrats have done to Trump, this is something he cares about. Why? Because all patriots want things like the NY subway system to be first rate. If we never, ourselves, set foot in it we want the world to see the vitality and strength of America in our greatest cities. We don’t want it the breeding ground of rats and the abode of lunatics. The majority of the people of New York City voted directly against their own best interests last Tuesday. They are still our fellow Americans and even if they hate us, we want good things for them.

That is the difference between us and our opponents – we don’t hate. It takes too much energy and is a waste of time. We stand amazed at liberals putting up Instagram videos ranting and raving about how much they hate Trump and MAGA. Seriously, you got nothing better to do today? One of the rants becoming common is liberal woman raving about how they won’t have sex with us. This would be a serious threat if most of us weren’t married – and the women in question didn’t make their fashion and makeup choices at the I’m a Raving Nutter Feminist Boutique. I don’t like to comment on women’s looks as it is a sensitive subject: default is that all women are beautiful (and they all are, just by existing). But, woof, some of these liberal chicks would have been passed over at 2 am before the ship has to pull out for a six month deployment. For all I know, they might be pretty girls…but the purple hair, piercings, tattoos and foaming at the mouth kinda blocks that perception.

Yes, we do want our revenge – in fact, we must have our revenge. But not like the Democrats going after Trump and MAGA. We don’t want to falsely accuse people of crimes and drag them through a rigged judicial system. We want miscreants punished. There was a story yesterday about how staff at the Department of Defense is conferring about ways and means of thwarting Trump after he takes office. All of them must first be fired and then, for military, court martialed while the civilians face whatever criminal charges can be made. You can’t do this – that is, you can’t conspire among yourselves to develop the ways and means of undermining the Constitutional authority of the President. We only elected one person to hold Executive authority in the USA – Trump. You might not like it. You might think it was the worst decision ever made – but it was the decision. From 1/20/2025 to 1/20/2029 Donald Trump will be the only person with Executive power in the federal government. All others in the Executive branch can only act on Trump’s authority and may not in any way, shape or form thwart the will of Trump. If he does wrong, blow a whistle. If you can’t agree on the policy, resign. But you can’t refuse to carry out orders.

But that is not the only thing we need to correct. The J6 defendants were one and all unjustly prosecuted. At worst, a few of them should have faced fines or maybe jail sentences up to six months. This is in line with whatever actual law breaking was done that day. The Democrats ginned it up like it was an attempt to overthrow the government – that was just a lie and as the basis of prosecution was false, all convictions are false. Trump has pledged to pardon the J6 defendants and I’m sure he will – but every last person involved in prosecuting them needs to be punished. Everyone involved was engaged in a conspiracy to deny civil rights and everyone involved should go to jail…to sit in the cells they unjustly consigned people to for political purposes. This is done not just to give us satisfaction but because the only way to ensure justice is to make sure that the malicious know the axe comes for them, even if delayed.

We go on: those who organized spying under FISA. Those who thwarted Trump’s orders in his first term. Those who orchestrated social media censorship. People who got a rake off from all the Biden Administration spending. There are very many people who need to be brought into court and punished. This isn’t looking back – it is laying the groundwork for the future. A future in which all Americans know that those who abuse power will not forever get away with it.

But, still, we mostly want to do the joyful things. Securing our border to end the abuse of foreigners in the new slave trade the Biden Administration orchestrated. Sending home those illegally in country. Reviving American manufacturing and energy production so that jobs can become plentiful while prices go down. Returning to the Moon and fostering Musk’s program to get to Mars. You know: start doing the grand, hopeful, American things again.

And we’ll do them for all Americans – including the haters and losers on the Left.

The Stupid Empire

I was thinking earlier today that Harris is sort of the end result. All of us who think at all look around our world and wonder why its just all so bad. That nothing seems to work and that only bad things keep happening. We almost feel like rats in a maze – and no matter which way we go there is always something or someone even stupider than before blocking the way. I think I’ve hit upon why.

For about a century and a half the world has been continually ratcheted towards stupid: that the only way we’re allowed to operate, at all, is by agreeing to really dumb things. We’ve been again and again confronted with a manufactured crisis and our only way out – or so we perceive – is to agree to the monstrously stupid proposal of the person who created the crisis. I say it goes back a century and a half and I’m getting more and more certain of it as I roll it around.

It all started with Bismarck.

He, himself, was a very intelligent man – indeed, he might even be rated a genius if given a cognitive test under modern conditions. But he wanted something that he shouldn’t get. You need to step back a moment and realize where he was when he was essentially preparing to become Minister-President of the Kingdom of Prussia. He was a citizen of a second-rank power (Prussia) which was part of a larger entity called the German Confederation (a loose agglomeration of independent States) which was dominated by its most powerful member, the Austrian Monarchy. He looked around at this and didn’t like it – possibly out of a sense of patriotism (who likes to be part of a second-rate thing, right?) but more likely it was because Prussia was too small a field for a man who thought very highly of himself (with justification; he mostly ran rings around every contemporary: only Britain’s Disreali was unawed by him). Whatever his reason, his ambition became to dispense with the German Confederation, push Austria out of German affairs and unite all the other Germanic States into one Empire ruled from Prussia.

Nobody wanted this. Not even his fellow Prussians from King on down. The rest of Germany didn’t want it. Austria didn’t want it. France, Russia and Britain didn’t want it. Common sense dictated against it – on the Continent you had France, Russia and Austria as the three Great Powers and they were in roughly equal power relations and with no soaring ambitions to remake Europe (after the 23 years of Revolutionary and Napoleonic wars, nobody in Europe was keen to disturb things and risk a resumption). Sure, there was rising German nationalist sentiment and this was working towards greater German unity but this didn’t mean that every German wanted to be ruled from Prussia…most of the nationalists envisioned German unity coming via voluntary association under freedom. If you could get Gallup to poll Germany in, say, 1864 the number who would opt for a Prussian Germany would be small. So, how did Bismarck manage his amazing trick in 8 short years (Minister-President of Prussia to Chancellor of the German Empire)? He bribed who he could, and suckered who he couldn’t bribe.

The bribes were pretty straightforward – and really got rolling after 1866 when Bismarck got his hands on the royal treasury of Hanover. This was turned into something called “the reptile fund” entirely under Bismarck’s control and he dispensed it as needed to grease the wheels. The other thing was simply lying to people until they did something horribly against their own interests but very much in line with Bismarck’s desire. Its how he got his wars against Austria in 1866 and France in 1870. Had Austria simply not declared war in 1866, or France in 1870, Bismarck’s plans would have died stillborn. But you pay some newspaper editors, you plant some lies, you threaten here, induce there and, presto, people feel like their only way out is to do the one thing they shouldn’t.

And people did observe this. They watched and learned. That is, our overall Western Ruling Class watched and learned. That you can easily own newspaper editors and convince them to say anything you want. That you can bribe your political opposition into become controlled opposition. That you can lie with impunity as long as the end result at least seems like a success. The trouble here is that what was started by a genius was turned over to ordinary people…who, to make it work, had to foster and advance people even dumber than themselves. More venal. More cowardly. More willing to do anything to get a seat at the table and do twice that to stay at it.

I’ve talked before of how during WWI the real problem with the conduct of the war – among all belligerents – was that hardly anyone in charge was a serious person. This was fifty years after Bismarck and the example he set and year by year among all Western nations the amoral liar had become ever more prominent.

You consider, for instance, the Dreyfus Case in France – an obviously innocent officer was railroaded by the military to cover up the fact that a favored man was a traitor. The spy was obviously someone else – and someone who clearly fit the bill for being a spy. But they settled on Dreyfus because it was easy to stir up a bit of anti-Semitism and blame him. It took twelve years to fix things. The poor man was shackled in a Devil’s Island cell. People were paid or bullied into backing the Army against Dreyfus even though simple patriotism – a desire for a strong France with an effective military force – dictated that justice be done as soon as possible. It dragged on as long as it did because the various false choices placed before the primary actors boiled down to them thinking that their only way out was to continue to lie. It wasn’t just one or two miscreant French officers…it was most of the officer corps, a huge number of elected officials, judges, newspapers…on and on all resolutely defending what was from the start a transparent lie. Just amazing! And even though justice was eventually done for Dreyfus (who went on to further honorable service in France’s army), it was grudging…they let him go and restored his officer’s commission. Nobody who had slandered him or railroaded him was punished…and that same officer corps who engineered that travesty was still in charge of France’s army when World War One started. And that officer corps went on to massacre the flower of French manhood in fruitless attacks against German trenches.

It wasn’t just the French, of course. At the Battle of Jutland, David Beatty had five battlecruisers and four of Britain’s newest, fastest, most powerful battleships under his command. He was confronted by five German battlecruisers under the command of Franz von Hipper. By every metric – speed, armor, gunpower, numbers – Beatty outweighed Hipper. All he had to do was concentrate his force and use his superior speed to close within range of the Germans – while staying out of their range; easy because his guns all had longer range – and he could have simply blown Hipper’s command to pieces. But, Beatty charged ahead forgetting to ensure his battleships got the order, got himself in range of the German guns and instead had his ships blown to pieces by the far more accurate German gunners. He lost three battlecruisers. Thousands of British tars were killed.

They made him a Fleet Admiral and an Earl.

John Byng was a British admiral who was charged with relieving a garrison under French siege in 1757. He failed at his task and when he returned to England he was court martialled and shot on the quarterdeck of his flagship. Bit of a different thing. Bit of a different time. Back then, Britain – and the West – were governed by serious people who weren’t about to get all weepy eyed and forgiving for someone who bungled an operation…and it wasn’t that he was defeated that got him shot. Everyone understands getting defeated…but he was judged to have wasted lives and material. He could have done more; and, really, why should he live after so many of his sailors had died pointlessly?

But to get back to our incompetents: it just went on like that, year after year and always worse. We kept on getting false crisis and stupid solutions and the people placed in charge became year by year stupider and more corrupt. Because we started with a high level of competency, it didn’t seem too bad. Sure there were horrible mistakes costing untold numbers of lives and uncounted treasure, but things still seemed to move along in a positive direction overall. And the few successes cast an aura of competence over people who really did a pretty poor job (and most of the successes were in spite of the senior leadership – it was a secondary commander who pushed things through to success in spite of idiotic orders from on high). But still the ratchet was set and the course was increasingly stupid.

When we start getting into Vietnam and later we’re really starting to see the stupid – but only in hindsight. That aura of success rather blinded all of us. Because, for instance, the Army had finished off the Germans we believed that, deep down, the Army was in good shape…we just didn’t see that while commanders like Bradley were getting caught with their pants down it was the unsung people like Lightning Joe Collins who actually got the job done. But it was the Bradley’s who commanded after the war and ensured that yet more of their like rose…and while Bradley was only a mediocre commander, his successor would be just bad…and bad…and bad…and bad…until we get a Joint Chiefs chairman calling the ChiComs to warn them about Trump. See how this goes? I mean, maybe Hoover did like to wear women’s clothing but he at least did arrest criminals…the current FBI director is trying to arrest his boss’ primary political opponent.

We got Obama because the stupid insisted that we call it a “War on Terrorism” and that Islam is a religion of peace. Had we just went right after Iran and Syria after 9/11 without worrying about semantics or offending Muslims, this thing would have been over by 2004. The current wars going on in the Middle East wouldn’t be happening. But, nothing doing – the stupid had bungled our security pre-9/11 and, none of them being shot post-9/11, they then gave us the false choice: either back a counterinsurgency war in Iraq or the terrorists have won! While the crash of 2008 finished off Bush’s GOP, it was the war that killed the brand…that made people simply tired of the old Republican party…and willing to try anything that seemed fresh. You know: like Obama. Who is an amazingly stupid person raised up entirely by corruption…but who seems like a smart guy. He proceeded to install stupid with a sense of pride – the dumber the policy or person, the more favored. People didn’t like it and so we managed to get Trump to replace Obama…but the stupid where, by then, in charge everywhere and were furious that someone non-stupid was in charge…and so they very stupidly went after Trump like a bunch of morons.

Now, to be sure, they did manage to force him out – but only to replace him with someone who had been chosen because he was stupider than Obama. And, naturally, this stupid Biden had to then choose someone even stupider than himself: Harris. You really do have to understand that if they hadn’t been stupid they would have worked with Trump, glad handed him, allowed him to take his second term and now he’d be heading out the door…with some success and with some changes made that the stupid hate…but he’d be nearly gone and with the stupid still largely running the show, and just waiting for the next stupid person – Republican or Democrat – to come in and resume the ratchet towards stupid.

But they instead made him – and us – mad. And they are really, really afraid of us coming back…but, being stupid, they settled on Harris as the means to do us in, went with stupid lawfare and now are running an incredibly stupid campaign. Stupid does undo itself in the end – it kills itself. Because its stupid.

There is still the question: we know how stupid the Ruling Class is, but how stupid are the people? If they are, indeed, stupid then we might not prevail on 11/5. If we do, though, then we might for the first time in 150 years be able to try something smart. To actually think about what we want and then set about obtaining it…without a stupid liar trying to sucker us into shooting ourselves in the foot. The Empire of Stupid might be set to fall.

Trump is Guilty…of Being American

Because that is the crux of why they hate him: bold, bigger than life, brash, rude (at times even crude) what Trump personifies is Americanism. That muscular aggressiveness that carved a nation out of a wilderness and turned it into the greatest power on Earth. He’s a patriot; loves this country. He’s a man; he likes people – especially his fellow Americans. He’s normal – sometimes a normal sinner, but in all things, normal.

It must be kept in mind that those on the Left who are getting all teary-eyed about “Our Democracy” despise this nation and anyone who is a patriot. Remember: they believe that America was founded so that racists could have slaves. That we maliciously committed genocide against the Natives. That we’re racist, sexist, homophobic, Nazi, fascist, greedy, stupid cretins who only have wealth and power because we stole it. They are wrapping themselves in a flag they wipe their asses with at every opportunity. What they want is for us to just sit quiet while they import a new population and plague us with crime and poverty until we agree to become serfs. Trump stands athwart that – he risks their position. He risks, worst of all, the chance that people who love America might rise to power in America.

He has to be stopped – and given that they are vile people, they didn’t let trivial things like the law get in the way. They got a fanatic Left DA to bring a case in front of a fanatic Left just who manipulated the court proceedings and jury until the only possible verdict was “guilty”. They violated a host of laws to get this – and they are high fiving themselves all over Blue America tonight. They think this does it. They believe that “convicted felon” on Trump’s name assures their power.

Hey, maybe they’re right. But I don’t think they are. Plenty of non-Trump people are expressing outrage over an obviously unjust verdict. Donations were flowing so fast to Team Trump that their server repeatedly crashed. One man I saw on X said he donated $300,000.00. But another who said he was flat broke donated $5.00…which is a heck of a lot of money when you’re broke. Perhaps “convicted felon” will save the Democrats bacon…but my bet is that they have awakened a sleeping giant.

Trump Rolls On

Nine to nothing; that was a bit surprising in that I thought at least 1 or 2 of the liberals would stick by their party on the ruling. But, honestly, it would have been a tough pill for even the most ardent liberal Justice to swallow: the 14th, if it even applies, is a federal matter subject only to federal law. To disqualify anyone from the ballot would take a federal conviction…and even that wouldn’t necessarily stop a State from placing the convict’s name on the ballot. The Constitution gives the States great control over the manner of choosing Electors. It would be a very bizarre thing if we ever had a situation where someone who had been convicted under the 14th secured 270 electoral votes for President. But the issue only comes up after a conviction in federal court.

Think about that.

A DC jury would convict Trump on command of any charge filed. Zero doubt. You could charge him with being a vampire and DC jury would find him guilty. And yet not only has Trump not been charged with insurrection or any similar sort of act, but neither has anyone else involved in J6. What does that tell you? That the Powers That Be understand that such a charge would be tossed on appeal…perhaps even on the liberal-dominated DC Circuit. The Democrats know they can’t even take the first step on using the 14th against him, even in theory.

So, why all the fuss? Honestly, it was just to fill the empty heads of #Resistance liberals. To make it seem like something is being done. Remember, those types of people believe that Trump really is a Russian agent and that Putin flipped votes in 2016 to get him elected. Not kidding: they believe the whole thing from start to finish. Doesn’t matter that every fact shows the accusations are false: it is what they were told and to this day the MSM has never admitted that they participated in a lie. These people sit around wondering all day long “when will they get Trump?”. This was one in a series of efforts to “get Trump”. It failed; but they’ve already got other arrows in the quiver. These are all falling apart one by one, but it looks like there’s enough to keep it going until after Election Day.

All polls must be taken with a grain of salt, but as I’ve always said, they can be useful in spotting trends. Right now, an outlier or two aside, all polls are indicating a Trump win – with 47 to 49 percent of the vote, with 49 percent working out to an electoral college triumph; maybe as high as 327 Electoral Votes. Get above 50 percent and Trump will head towards 350. That is, of course, now; 8 months out. Lots can change. The trouble for Team Pudding Brain is that things can’t change for the better. Inflation is likely to rise again at least near term. Job losses (especially full time) are mounting. The border remains open. Crime continues to rise. Nothing Team Pudding Brain can do will reverse this because they are ideologically committed to the policies that are causing all the trouble. The only new wrinkle is the increasing hostility to Israel…a gambit to keep Muslim voters on side with a huge downside risk of losing the Jewish vote, which is nearly as large and could easily tip a State or two to Trump. Maybe a miracle happens…but even if things start to get better in spite of Biden, the fact remains that Biden is increasingly mentally and physically feeble. Six months from now he’ll just be worse; all of us who have dealt with aging relatives know how this works…once they start downhill, it just accelerates. Biden is clearly heading downhill.

Will they replace him? Only if he’s dead. His people now have sufficient control over the levers of Democrat power that it is almost impossible to displace them. A full court press by Teams Obama and Clinton might do it, but even that would only make it 50/50. Of course, he might very well die; what sort of chaos ensues if that happens after early voting has commenced is anyone’s guess. But probably there isn’t urgency among Democrats to replace him. To them, its a simple calculation: in the unexpected event that Biden wins, then all is good…if he loses, they figure Trump will have a bad 2026 midterm and with an open seat in 2028 the Democrats would think they’re favored to win it. Democrats are actually confident that they can keep Trump boxed in for 4 years just as they did before.

This doesn’t mean they won’t cheat. Of course they’ll cheat. Massively. They always do. But there is a limit to what cheating can do, and in Georgia and Wisconsin cheating is now a heck of a lot harder than it used to be. Nevada, too, as we have a GOP governor. And cheating only works if you have total control in the exact areas you need it. Trump gets to 49% and they’d just have too large a task on their hands.

I rate the odds as 55/45 in Trump’s favor right now. Subject to modification as conditions change over the next 8 months.

9/11 Twenty Two Years On

What went wrong? Why did that horrific event cause so many other horrific events, resulting in a lost war and a panicked flight from Kabul?

Did you know the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs on that fateful day retired to various sinecures in the education and corporate world? He also endorsed Hillary Clinton in 2008; in an astonishing bit of absurdity calling her someone who understood what being in the military is like.

The Director of the CIA? Was given the Presidential Medal of Freedom when he retired in 2004. He also retired to various sinecures in the education and corporate worlds. Got a book deal, too. Oh, and later on offered biting criticism of W. Bush who awarded him that medal.

The FBI Director? That was Bob Mueller. You guessed it: after he retired he was the beneficiary of multiple education and corporate sinecures. And of course dredged up to lend a patina of credibility to the ridiculous Trump-Russia fraud.

So, to review: the people in charge of our military, foreign intelligence and domestic federal law enforcement on 9/11 – the people on who’s watch 3,000 Americans were massacred – all retired to cushy positions of power and influence. That is what went wrong. These three men should have been shot; and if we were feeling merciful after THREE THOUSAND of us were murdered due to their negligence, sent to jail for life. But, they not only didn’t suffer, they were rewarded for their abject failure.

You get what you pay for; we pay (through the nose) for incompetence and corruption…and so we’re awash in incompetence and corruption.

Bet you haven’t heard of Frank Wuterich all that much. You see, when he was a 25 year old Marine in 2005 his unit was hit by an IED in Anbar province and then a lot of shooting happened – as one might expect when an armed unit suddenly has a bomb explode among them – which resulted in civilian deaths. The initial report indicated that the dead civilians were caught in a crossfire but then people started claiming that the Marines – our Marines; soldiers of our United States Marine Corps; not Nazi Einsatzgruppen, but our Marines – deliberately targeted civilians. You know; because fresh-faced American kids who volunteer to fight for America are just the same as bloodthirsty Nazi savages. Given the nature of the beast at that time, the military opened an investigation and brought war crimes charges against 8 Marines. After a lot of years most of the charges against the defendants were dropped with Wuterich getting convicted of dereliction of duty. Because, you know, our Marines don’t go around massacring civilians. Because they’re American Marines. The good guys.

So, think about it: while those responsible for the criminal failure to stop 9/11 were awash in money and fame, the poor bastards we sent out to clean up their mess were being charged with war crimes…not because crimes happened, but because the political Left in the USA and around the world said war crimes were happening and our government went along with this. Who was the Marine’s CO in Iraq at the time? James Mattis; you know, the guy we thought was a rough, tough non-nonsense Marine when Trump appointed him Secretary of Defense. We should have checked a bit – but even in 2017 we were still rather starry eyed about our military officers. But the fact that Mattis agreed to court martial troops who – at worst – fired perhaps in a bit of panic when under fire should have told us just what sort of man he really was long before he resigned in protest against Trump’s effort to end our involvement in the Syrian Civil War. After his resignation, you guessed it, he landed a corporate sinecure. Mattis put his own Marines through hell because some Commie somewhere shouted “war crime!” even though Mattis must have known his Marines were not criminals. And then, apparently lacking any conscience at all, went off to a well paid retirement.

So, what went wrong? What happened to an event which united us all in righteousness? It was taken over by the corrupt, the cruel and incompetent. And when we at last had enough and voted in a man to change the system, that system broke the law to get him out of office. That is what went wrong.

Don’t Get Mad: Get Even

My fury has subsided. Let me tell you, yesterday evening was the maddest I have been in a long time. Perhaps ever. I don’t get mad, you see? I mean, seriously, over the course of my life if I really worked at it and decided to carry a grudge I have been able to stay angry for 3, 4 minutes at a stretch. I’m just like that. I can explode in momentary rage – but even that is very rare these days – but I can’t stay mad. There’s always a way around it. We can work it out. But last night I was in a towering rage for a long time. When the news of the Georgia indictment I read the particulars and was confronted immediately by some of the most miserable, cowardly, spiteful comments I’ve ever seen. They set me afire and I let people know just how I felt.

From the Left?

You kidding? Didn’t even bother with those idiots. I’m talking about comments from the Right. Do you want to know where we are? 100% of the Left is cheering the indictments. Meanwhile, at least 50% of the Right ranges from cheering to pseudo-intellectual posing about it. “The charges are serious and we must read the indictment”…the indictment lists Tweets as proof of a criminal conspiracy. Trump is charged with being Trump – the other defendants are charged with being Trump in the Second Degree. This is why we lose. We simply don’t understand where we are.

Think about it: why Georgia? Because the GOP governor hates Trump so much he sat on his hands while ballot dumps after poll closing handed the State to Biden. Because it is a State matter and so Trump can’t get a federal pardon. Because even if pressure is placed on Kemp to issue a pardon, he can’t – Georgia doesn’t allow Executive clemency. It is the perfect place for the Democrats to bring such charges. And it doesn’t matter how bogus it is – the jury pool where he’ll be tried is overwhelmingly Democrats and they’ll know their job is to convict no matter what. The last defense of human liberty is gone – because after half a century of de-educating the population, most people don’t even know what a jury is for. Sure it’ll be tossed on appeal, in some years. We simply don’t have the guts or the skill to do what the Democrats have done here. And even if we did, a GOP jury would still believe it must weigh the facts in rendering a judgement – we don’t have a jurisdiction where we can be certain of getting a guilty verdict.

So, where does that leave us? In a very tough spot.

A cogent case can be made for dumping Trump: that he’s just too large a burden for us to carry. I can see that point – but only if the eventual GOP nominee pledges to pardon Trump and open criminal investigations into every prosecutor – State and federal – who has investigated Trump. The charge? Civil rights violations. And to turn it about – hit them with RICO. It will not be hard to prove under that law (which should be repealed but that’s for another time) that all of these people conspired together to deny Donald Trump his civil rights; even the slightest, second-hand contacts would do the trick. You see, absent such a pledge, then all we’re doing is caving to the Democrats. What choice we make must always work out to a combat choice: a notification to the Democrats that we’re coming after them.

But whether or not we end up dumping Trump or sticking with him, we must get fully into combat mode. We must start threatening prosecution. Social and economic ruin. Expulsion from position. We have to start kicking the Left in the nuts. We must stop “being better than that”. Do we want to win, or not?

I want to win. I want them to pay. They have to pay: if they aren’t punished, then this country is doomed.

Guys, I’m really down on our long term prospects right now.

It isn’t so much the indictment of Trump though that is bad. What is bad is the number of people on the Right who are all, “Trump did this to himself” and/or “we have to let the process play out.”

I did do some checking and while I’m no lawyer nor am I able to search all possible sources, I’m pretty confident at this point that there is no US law which requires a President to submit his declassifications to anyone. No forms to fill out. No person to check with. Doesn’t even have to mention it to anyone. As far as I can tell, the person in office can pretty much take our deepest secrets and pass them out to winos behind 7/11 and he wouldn’t be breaking any law. Now, anyone other than the President or those designated by the President would be in deep, deep trouble doing that. But the President to the best of my knowledge has plenary authority here. Anyone find a statute which specifically enjoins the President to follow certain procedures in declassification, I’m all ears.

But when you think about it, how can it be otherwise? Who other than the President would the President clear such a thing with? Fill out a form and send it to himself? You think some fourth level bureaucrat in the EOB is going to be able to say, “sorry Mr President, can’t declassify that – you didn’t fill out the forms correctly”? Of course the President’s authority here is absolute. Can’t work any other way.

I bring this up because it shows that there was no basis for the investigation to start, let alone for an indictment to come down. Given this, it is clearly entirely political in its intent; the Democrats are using the DoJ to stir up political issues which will affect the votes of the American people. If this seems like something ok to you…well, then you’re dumb as a box of rocks.

“But he’s not President any more!” is one objection and, on the face of it, not quite as stupid as the rest. But it is is easily disposed of: he was President when he obtained the documents and as such he could declassify at will without telling anyone. So, if he has them, they’re declassified.

But more than just the particulars of the case is what it foretells: if this works (and it looks like it will, thanks in large part to the Never-Trump Right) then it will be used again. What is to stop them? They had no reason to start this investigation. They had no reason to start the Trump-Russia investigation. They had no reason to start the campaign finance investigation in NYC. They don’t need a fact – they just need people willing to do it and an MSM willing to play along. Of course they will now proceed to serially indict anyone they view as a threat. They are going to take a GOP which is only now learning how to fight back and gut it. Anyone who is a fighter will find themselves under increasing judicial pressure…and all people who aren’t fighters will quickly learn to back down.

And I don’t see how we stop it. People who won’t stand up to abuse of power won’t actually start a physical fight over it. We simply lack enough people with guts. This is just the start of the process whereby the USA will be converted into a de-facto one-party State. And then, piece by piece, all liberty and property will be taken.

Hate to see it. Wish I were wrong. I pray I am wrong. But where’s the upside? Should take about 20 years to get us to the level of Canada where they froze the bank accounts of demonstrators. Maybe 30 years to China-like tyranny, but even Canadian or European level of tyranny is a huge fall for a nation conceived in liberty.

Just disgusted with the whole thing – and especially our supposed allies who are so incredibly stupid over it. I think this is because they are only instinctively on the Right. They never really thought it through. Could also be very mercenary…they just wanted low taxes. That is all they ever wanted and they don’t give a damn about social disintegration as long as their investments remain fat.

You Should be Terrified of What They Did to Trump

Greg Gutfeld went on a bit of a tear about the latest revelations in the Trump-Russia hoax; click the link and give it a watch. His point is that the Democrats (in the largest sense – including the MSM and RINOs) built up Trump as the New Hitler and so justified any action against him. Because, after all, if you are really stopping a Hitler – a guy who proposes to kill every single person he hates and start a world war – then you really can justify just about any action to stop it; work up a phony Trump-Russia scandal or commit election fraud, you see?. This dovetails with the point I made about the latest revelations: the the same people who assure us that 2020 was legitimate were also all in on Trump-Russia even though they new from the get-go that it was a lie.

This does not prove that 2020 was stolen but because of this situation there is nobody on God’s green Earth who can credibly assert that 2020 wasn’t stolen. Everyone you can possibly rely on to tell you what happened in that strange election is tainted as a known liar or part of a system which repeatedly rewards known liars…and you’d be worse than a fool to rely on their assertions about anything. But even that isn’t really the issue we’re confronted with here. It is much larger than that.

Throughout political history there have always been shenanigans. From the lowliest mud hut village to the most impressive Imperial capitol, people have always tried to rig politics. Some of the most famed people in history are essentially famous for their ability to back the winner and then fix the race to make sure (Kaunitz of the Holy Roman Empire and Bismarck of Prussia probably stand at the top of this heap..but they are just part of a legion). What I’m saying here is that some of the things done to Trump are not new – hardly remarkable in and of themselves. But what is new – at least in the American experience – is a political party, the intelligence and law enforcement agencies, the media and a significant portion of the politician’s own party combining to destroy the politician. And not only combining to destroy the person but doing so with complete fabrications. This I don’t think has ever happened before – and it should terrify everyone.

Step back a moment and think about it: nothing Trump has ever been accused of has been proved. Even the ridiculous civil case over rape still amounts to no more than “he said/she said” without the slightest scrap of evidence that the event could have happened. But they still got a jury to nod along with at least part of the allegations. How? Because for the past 8 years, the accused has been the target of an intense series of allegations making him out to be worse than Hitler. The people in the area the trial was held do not avail themselves of unapproved media. They live in a world where the New York Times is considered the gold standard of truth. And that New York Times – and all the media, including the tiny parts not far-Left in outlook – had all been repeating the allegations for all those years over and over and over again. So, when the guy (as it were) shows up in Court, the jury knew what it had to do…it was “known” that the Orange Man is Bad and so they acted accordingly. This is actually staggering; it is the end of any concept of law in our society if it is allowed to stand.

When I said earlier that nothing against Trump has been proved, I mean nothing. For instance, we don’t even know if Trump ever had sex with Stormy Daniels; and if that happened it wasn’t against the law and in today’s post-Christian world it hardly even counts as a scandal…but we can’t even say with certainty that it happened. And yet even to this day the accusation counts against Trump and various aspects of it continue to wend their way through courts and public opinion. For goodness sake, the lawyer who led the way in bringing the allegation forward is in jail for fraud. Maybe Trump did have the affair. Billionaires are known for that sort of thing. It is certainly plausible: but neither you nor anyone you know can say for certain it did. The only people who know for certain on it are Donald Trump and Stormy Daniels…Trump denies it categorically while Daniels says it happened. And, guys, don’t forget that Stormy is on the hook for about $350,000.00 in legal fees she owes to Trump…not the sort of thing a credible accuser gets hit with.

And yet I bet that if we did a poll then we’d find north of 90% of people certain that Trump and Daniels had an affair. This is not just what a smear can do: it is what can happen when just about everyone conspires against you. Just a bit of detective work on the part of the MSM and we’d know pretty certainly if Trump and Daniels were at that Tahoe resort at the same time in 2006 and if there was a time frame in which the two could have got together. I mean, there would be hotel and room service receipts, witness statements from hotel staff…Trump being pretty well known there would be lots of people who would be keeping an eye on him and following his movements, including paparazzi (this happened when The Apprentice was hot on TV, after all). But all I can ever find about it is Daniels’ claim that it happened. Seems a little thin…and the dog that doesn’t bark here is the MSM not getting us all the lurid background details which would be available if the affair happened. So, like I said: not proved. But absolutely believed.

And so is everything else to one degree or another. And here’s the kicker: the Daniels accusation is the most credible of all the accusations. And she owes Trump hundreds of thousands of dollars for making it! Everything else Trump is accused of has even less evidence that it happened and the main accusation against him (that he’s an agent of Russia) has just been proved completely false. But, once again, people believe.

The terrifying thing here is that if they can do this to Trump – a media-savvy billionaire who can hire first rate legal talent – they can do it to anyone. Suppose Joe Blow in your town offends the Ruling Class…and then there shows up a story in the local news claiming that Joe did This Horrible Thing and that sparks an investigation and you’re sitting there watching this or that dark hint of terrible deeds by Joe leaking out and your mind starts to go, “maybe there’s something to it?”. But the truth is that Joe did nothing wrong other than offend the Ruling Class and is now being destroyed. And he’s being destroyed as an example, just like Trump is. They are letting us know that anyone who doesn’t toe the line will be destroyed. And if you’re thinking that the calm and pleasant Ron DeSantis is immune…well, they’re already calling him worse than Trump (who is, of course, worse than Hitler) and they’re lining up allegations that DeSantis had inappropriate relations with female students when he was a teacher and that he supervised torture at Gitmo. I rate these accusations as entirely non-credible. If any of them had been true, the Democrats would have broadcast them far and wide during the 2022 campaign. But we just learned that an accusation doesn’t have to be true to be effective…it just has to be backed up by all or at least most of the Powers That Be. Rely on it that Biden’s Justice Department will open an investigation into allegations of criminal activity by DeSantis if he’s the GOP nominee. It won’t matter if they’re true – they’ll simply make up whatever they think is best and you’ll see everyone – including the RINOs – swing in behind the investigation.

To be sure, maybe RDS can weather the storm. Maybe, that is, such an obviously personally pleasant person with a great family can get the public mind on his side. But you can’t be sure – and even if RDS can survive it, the problem remains that it can be attempted by the Democrats because they know that the DOJ, the CIA, the FBI and the MSM will fall in line to back up whatever RDS is accused of.

We really must dismantle this system brick by brick. Sure, the FBI and CIA need to be abolished, but it goes far beyond that. We have to find a way to punish the MSM, as well. To make them pay through the nose so they’ll learn the lesson: don’t be part of a political op. This is not something amenable to small reforms and it cant be allowed to continue; we need sledgehammer-like destruction of the institutions which created or fostered the anti-Trump effort. Because it isn’t about Trump: it is about you and me and our ability to remain free. It is either destroy them, or they’ll destroy us.

The Turning Point

I didn’t write about the raid yesterday because I was so furious I probably would have written something intemperate. I am much more calm now. But no less determined.

The “warrant” was signed off by an Obama-donating attorney who helped some of Epstein’s people skate – and tells you all you need to know: he just did what he was told. Apparently, he’s some sort of federal magistrate who normally handles routine federal matters…not signing off on warrants for an unprecedented raid on a former President.

The story is that they say that Trump violated some provision of the records laws. This is bull and you know it: we have learned from experience that Trump keeps his legal affairs in order. If he does have any documents from his Administration, then he has them perfectly legally. What they were really doing was a fishing expedition…trying to find in some of Trump’s most personal and private information something – anything – they can hang an insurrection charge on relating to January 6th. This tells you that in all their investigations so far, they’ve found nothing like that. If they had, they would have already indicted Trump for it and brought him in front of a DC jury which would know their job was to convict, facts be damned. But they have to have something – because if they tried to indict over nothing, Trump’s lawyers would get the indictment tossed at the federal appellate level. A secondary effort here would be to simply intimidate Trump’s people…to scare them into cooperating (ie, lying) in exchange for immunity. I doubt they’ll get that: the people around Trump at this late a date are the loyal of the loyal.

The whole thing is simply infuriating – Hunter Biden is on record violating a host of federal laws and he’s walking free, making money and laughing it up with the Big Guy. The Big Guy, himself, is hip deep in Hunter’s corruption. The Clinton’s were never raided even though we know – for absolute fact – that they illegally mishandled official documents. Epstein is dead and Maxwell is convicted but not a single client of theirs has been indicted (which tells you that the bulk of their clients were on the Left – the Democrats would sacrifice a large number of their own if they could get a dozen or so GOPers in jail over Epstein). We live in a two-tiered justice system…those who are favored by the Ruling Class skate, while ours are raked over on trumped up charges.

Over and over again in the past 24 hours I’ve seen people come to Trump’s defense – with large numbers of people getting determined – as I am – to see him back into the White House in 2024. And we’re taking names on the GOP side – Senator Scott made a typical RINO statement on an MSM show, got roasted for it and came out hours later with a strong condemnation of the raid. The litmus test for being involved in GOP politics going forward is condemnation of the raid…and if (when) we take back Congress, it’ll be how much pain we put Democrats through over it. We are all in a mind to punish – to make them, for once, feel the heat they’ve joyfully directed at us for decades.

In the primary elections on Tuesday, there seems to have been quite a surge in GOP voting and, more particularly, GOP voting for Trump-endorsed candidates. People are furious and ready to take action.

I hope this is the turning point – the final pebble that starts the avalanche. It isn’t time to just talk, it is time for action. I still prefer the abolition of the FBI, but if we can’t get that, then we certainly need a massive housecleaning. There are no good apples – if there were, they would have immediately resigned when news of the raid got out. From top to bottom, the bureaucracy is run by and for the DNC…that has to end, even if we literally have to fire every last one of them and start all over.

Because Revolution is our only way out of this – fortunately, we still retain the means the Founders gave us to make Revolution at the ballot box. I do believe they went a step too far here. In their desperation to remove Trump from the political field (they know he’ll beat them in 2024), all they’ve done is shown their fear and united their opponents.
