I Gave $50.00 to McCain’s Campaign
May 24th, 2008 at 05:58pm Mark Noonan
Not a lot of money, but I’m not a rich man, either…but it is time, dear conservatives, that we stepped firmly up to the plate. Now that we’re 99% sure Obama will be the nominee and while the current lay of the political land indicates a renewed Democratic Congressional majority, we daren’t fail to do whatever we can to ensure McCain’s victory. Backing McCain is taking on the characteristic of a basic act of patriotism, because someone as ultra-left as Obama will do great harm to the United States.
Yes, I know all the objections - real and imagined - to McCain from my fellow conservatives…but that doesn’t matter in the least right now. Its a time of choosing. You can have McCain and a bit of conservatism plus a war won, or you can have Obama and pure liberalism plus a lost war.
Pick one.
If you pick correctly, then go here.

So if you don’t support McCain you are unpatriotic? No wonder you people are losing elections left and right. Good Riddance.

Faceplant,
Rather sad, huh? I mean, the fact that you on the left have gone so far off the deep end that you’re actually working against your nation…that is what is so sad. Sadder still is the fact that you don’t even recognise it.
Plain fact of the matter is - if you want to win the war (and all true patriots want their nation to win any particular war) then you are forced to vote for McCain.

Mark, good for you since it looks like a recent McCain fund raiser with President Bush was canceled at the Phoenix Convention Center due to a lack of ticket sales. Seems the Republican defined “patriots” just aren’t in a giving mood.

Mark is right, it is time to loosen up the wallet and buy the yard signs and bumperstickers and give some cash here and there. We will have a hard time coming even close to the amount, the George Soros billionare libs will be able to shell out.

Mark…..”Backing McCain is taking on the characteristic of a basic act of patriotism, because someone as ultra-left as Obama will do great harm to the United States.”
——————————-
Too late, Mark, the harm has already been done; not by Obama but by your former idol and his helpers. It’s now up to Obama to clean up the mess.
All the money in the world will not help the McCain campaign.
A McCain presidency—-not going to happen. Sorry.

Mark,
I really like McCain. I think he is a great guy and he has a super sense of humor. His performance on SNL was a classic. If he would have had the Republican nomination in 2000. I would have voted for him.
That said, I can’t vote for him this year. He is just wrong on too many issues. He has no plan for Iraq, other than stay the course. His health plan wouldn’t cover himself and his only real economic plan seems to be keep the tax cuts (which he was against, before he was for them). Therefore, I will join the other George Soros billionares and contribute my fifty dollars to Obama.

Sadder still is the fact that you don’t even recognise it.
Saddest of all is the fact that you cannot differentiate between the conspiracy theories festering in your mind and actual reality.
But at least it makes for good comedy for the rest of us.

Since when the f**k did you people get to brand who’s a patriot and who isn’t?
I mean, the fact that you on the left have gone so far off the deep end that you’re actually working against your nation…
See, Noonan, this is one factor into why the GOP were thrown out of power two years ago: it had little to do with your principles, but a lot to do with how Americans were tired of you people hiding behind the flag and using false patriotism to justify our president’s f’ed up policies.

“Rather sad, huh? I mean, the fact that you on the left have gone so far off the deep end that you’re actually working against your nation”
Yet it’s neocons like you that cheer on warrantless domestic spying, and advocate the torture of your enemies. I’m not sure you can get much further from the founding principles of this country than your party has. You must be proud.
11. Mark Noonan | May 25th, 2008 at 1:31 pm
Face,
You’d have a case, if there was any domestic spying or torture going on….but, given that those are just BS liberal talking points, all you are is a fool who understands nothing, and refuses to even look at the facts.
12. Mark Noonan | May 25th, 2008 at 1:34 pm
Jonathan,
I don’t get to decide who will be a patriot - nor do I get to decide what constitutes patriotism…but it is a self-evident truth that a patriot wishes his nation to win its wars…one candidate is pledged to victory in the war, one candidate is pledged to defeat…all patriots will vote for the man pledged to victory.
Period. End of story.
Its your own fault that you’re in this position of either voting for McCain or being unpatriotic…if you leftist nimrods hadn’t gone of the deep end with your insane hatred of President Bush, you would have worked out a platform of opposition to Bush war policy, but favorability to winning the war. That you were a bunch of lemmings who followed the lead of the communist traitors at ANSWER is your own damned fault.
Nex time, pay attention.

Casper,
What is Obama’s plan?

“You’d have a case, if there was any domestic spying or torture going on…”
Don’t insult my intelligence Marky. Your little followers may buy that line, but it’s not going to work on someone who can actually think for himself.
You may not view stress positions, waterboarding, threatening someone with dogs, or months of solitary confinement as torture, but the rest of the sane world does. And that includes your new hero of convenience John McCain.
And the Domestic spying program that you say doesn’t exist was ruled illegal by a Federal Judge. I guess those telecoms were doing their patriotic, oh so perfectly legal duty that they just happen to need immunity for when they turned over their customers phone and internet records without a warrant. That’s a fact, unless you consider Verizon, who has admitted as much, a liberal talking head.

You Cons are ‘Slowdancing in a Burn Room’. Wow, I never thought I’d find anything by John Mayer useful. Just goes to show the absurdity of your arguments I guess.

You donated to McCain… I’m sorry. I could use $50 the nest time you want to waste your money. Now that I think of it you once said your house had lost some $100,000 plus in equity. If you are as well off as you appear and you believe in your new hero of convenience (thanks Face) how come you didn’t donate the max? If all of you talking heads were to donate the max you might give your guy a fighting chance). Though I think I know the answer to this and I know you are somewhat intelligent- even an idiot knows a bad investment when they see one. Or you really don’t believe in him… I donated $150 to Ron Paul and I make $20k a year and have a wife and three kids. So where is your commitment?
17. Tab Buchanan | May 26th, 2008 at 6:32 pm
Have to agree with Faceplant here. It’s hard to argue with the logic.
McCain says ‘No’ to torture. McCain says waterboarding is torture (like we need ANY more proof of that). Hello?? Earth to Republicans!! Let us know when you drift back into orbit (or not).
And domestic spying? I hardly doubt that the President would be defending these actions if they weren’t true. Hello again?? Can it get any simpler?? Let me say it twice: I really doubt the President would be defending domestic spying if it weren’t true.
Make sense yet? Even a little? THINK about it. Jeezus.

I recently donated as well; first check in a long time. I shudder at the thought of the racist, liar at the top of the demoncrat ticket actually becoming POTUS.
