Where Agnosticism Will Lead The Governor of Nevada Should Resign

What Liberal fascism? Part 2

May 30th, 2008 at 07:48am Mark Noonan

From Canada:

In response to a series of controversies over abortion debates on Canadian campuses, the student government of York University in Toronto has tabled an outright ban on student clubs that are opposed to abortion.

Gilary Massa, vice-president external of the York Federation of Students, said student clubs will be free to discuss abortion in student space, as long as they do it “within a pro-choice realm,” and that all clubs will be investigated to ensure compliance.

“You have to recognize that a woman has a choice over her own body,” Ms. Massa said. “We think that these pro-life, these anti-choice groups, they’re sexist in nature … The way that they speak about women who decide to have abortions is demoralizing. They call them murderers, all of them do … Is this an issue of free speech? No, this is an issue of women’s rights.”

You can say whatever you want, as long as what you say is in accordance with liberal views - thing is, Massa would probably stoutly assert that her action is anti-fascist in nature because in liberal-land only fascists are pro-life.

And liberals still get outraged when I point out that liberalism, fascism, communism and Nazism share the same basic mindset…

If you are going to always post these “Canadian Liberal” postings you could at least provide readers with a copy of the Canadian Constitution and your deffinition of a “Canadian Liberal.” Is a Canadian Liberal the same as a liberal in Great Britian, India, Italy or Austria?

I would really like to see the abortion law that punishes the father, mother, and medical system equally. You know that will never happen. They will set their sites on punishing a frightened girl of high school age.

Better sex education, better adoption services and better health services for women will reduce the number of abortions.

“And liberals still get outraged when I point out that liberalism, fascism, communism and Nazism share the same basic mindset.” This is simply a bizarre statement.

Professor Paxton defines fascism’s essence as:

…a sense of overwhelming crisis beyond reach of traditional solutions; 2. belief one’s group is the victim, justifying any action without legal or moral limits; 3. need for authority by a natural leader above the law, relying on the superiority of his instincts; 4. right of the chosen people to dominate others without legal or moral restraint; 5. fear of foreign `contamination.”

Now which group do these five characteristics of fascism describe?
    1. Cons - don’t talk to our enemies.
    2. Cons - the liberal media is out to get us.
    3. Con - Bush and the neocons will show us the way, not to trust them is un-American.
    4. Cons - Bush’s politicalization of the Justice Department.
    5. Cons - anti-immigration stance.

    1. Cons - don’t talk to our enemies.

Cons such as Reagan talked to the USSR. Bush talked to the Chicoms over the plane that made an emergency landing in Hainan. There were also recent negotiations with Iran over Iraq, from which Iran walked out. Under the Bush administration, the US has supported the EU-3 talks with Iran over its nuclear programs.

    2. Cons - the liberal media is out to get us.

The media covered the war in Iraq extensively when things were going wrong, but the war has mostly disappeared from media coverage now that things are going better. The media aren’t so much “out to get” us cons, just reluctant to report news that favors things we support.

    3. Con - Bush and the neocons will show us the way, not to trust them is un-American.

Bush and his administration have NEVER accused anyone of being “un-American” simply for not trusting them.

    4. Cons - Bush’s politicalization of the Justice Department.

Eight US attorneys were fired, which is far less than the 93 axed by Janet Reno.

    5. Cons - anti-immigration stance.

Generally, we cons are against ILLEGAL immigration, but NOT against all immigration, as the term “anti-immigration” implies. There are also a few cons, such as Lindsey Graham, who are pro-open borders, as shown by his speech to La Raza. If we fear anything, it is not foreign “contamination”, but foreigners BREAKING OUR LAWS.

    Bigfoot,

How dare you bring a semblance of reality to street riots juvenile rant. Remember, to a liberal, perception and repetitious propaganda is everything.

Facts are only to acknowledged when they support those preceptions.

    Street,

Bigfoot nailed you pretty good, but I’ll add this: conservatism seeks to preserve Judeo-Christian civilization. That is all - but what is Judeo-Christian civilization?

It is respect for God. It is respect for religion. It is rationality. It is rule of law. It is respect for property. It is the inherent dignity of the individual human being.

Liberalism arose in the 18th century to say that God doesn’t exist, that religion is a con, that laws are best made by an advanced elite, that property is theft and that individual humans are less important than the group - from that starting point, you get socialism, communism, fascism and Nazism…none of these grow out of conservatism, all of them grow out of liberalism. “Ultra right” is actually best described as Franz Josef; “ultra left” is typified by Lenin.

Typical, obvious evidence of rampant Liberal Fascism.

Freedom of speech? Of course not…

What a complete bunch of hypocrites…

*crickets* all I hear is *crickets*

Imagine the howls of outrage if the article read like this:

In response to a series of controversies over abortion debates on Canadian campuses, the student government of York University in Toronto has tabled an outright ban on student clubs that are support abortion rights.

Gilary Massa, vice-president external of the York Federation of Students, said student clubs will be free to discuss abortion in student space, as long as they do it “within a pro-life realm,” and that all clubs will be investigated to ensure compliance.

“You have to recognize that an unborn child has the right to life,” Ms. Massa said. “We think that these pro-death, these anti-child groups, they’re sexist in nature … The way that they speak about women who decide to have their babies is demoralizing. They call them selfish, all of them do … Is this an issue of free speech? No, this is an issue of a child’s rights.”

So, just to be clear, a woman’s rights trump my rights to freedom of speech.

How can you leftists even pull this off with a straight face?

Laughing at you is not a sign of “outrage,” Noonan. It’s a sign of bemusement (with a touch of pity that you would be so deluded, yet so utterly convinced that you’re right).

    Street,

    Bigfoot nailed you pretty good
    1. “Reagan talked to the USSR” Now it is ok to write we can talk to our enemies. Obama was blasted just last week on this site - Hypocrites
    2. “just reluctant to report news that favors things we support.” I believe Scott McClellan has been telling a different story and that is why 4000 are dead in Iraq - Hypocrites.
    3. “Bush and his administration have NEVER accused anyone of being “un-American” simply for not trusting them.” Have you ever listened to Limbaugh and Hannity? Both are nothing more than shameless WH mouthpieces that get regular invites into the WH spin zone. -Hypocrites.
    4. “Eight US attorneys were fired” Not because it was a change of administration, but because they were not good Bushies. Monica Goodling at Justice admitted under oath that she had “crossed the lines” of the law by screening the political backgrounds of applicants for non-political jobs at the Justice Department. Hypocrites
    5. “Generally, we cons are against ILLEGAL immigration, but NOT against all immigration,” Where is the signed into law legislation from when Congress was controlled by Republicans that punishes corporations for hiring illegal immigrants. Hypocrites

This machine is more akin to the ball machines I grew up with- the pneumatic tube that acts as a tennis ball cannon, and enough ball storage to make you beg for mercy if you try and finish them all yourself.
