Financial Sharks and Liberals – Buddies Forever

Interesting article over at Family Security Matters about the connections between super-rich financial speculators, like George Soros, and the Democratic party – and the vested interest such malefactors of great wealth have in Democratic victory this November.

The Democrats, as well as the larger political left, are in tight with financial sharks like Soros – he wants a world of ultra-liberal social policies, and he’s willing to pay for it…and for all the left’s complaints about “the rich”, they are not at all shy about taking money not just from rich people, but from rich people who got that way by ruthlessly exploiting downturns in the global economy (in other words, they profit most with poor and middle class people suffer). Just another example of leftwing “do as I say, not as I do”.

That’s half of the story. The other half is that they all are.

Rupert Murdoch and the Rothschilds support Hillary. The Rockefellers put Giuliani into NYC’s mayor’s office but they had to distance themselves when Rudy became a little too blatant and decadent. He has since moved on to a new set of investment bankers trying to buy a President. The Saudis supported Bush. It goes on and on.

The thing that the money guys want to do is keep us fragmented. They will support a candidate, even without his knowledge, just to keep things muddied. It’s then easier to control the outcome.

George Soros and John Edwards? Are they Republican shysters? Oh well, there’s always the evil Bush/Cheney/Halliburton.

On both sides the elites with deep pockets back those they are most likely to profit from it’s called capitalism and it works very well actually. If you replace Soros with Saud you get the two Bush terms and all that comes with the start of the decline of the Age of Petroleum.

You are about to enter the age of Extended Life through Pharmaceuticals and to do that Hillary Clinton who is truly Ms Big Pharma will have to be elected.

How is it that being rich is only okay when those with the big bucks are theocratic conservatives that give you a warm fuzzy when America has a bushel basket of problems that religion can’t solve on its own?

“Saud you get the two Bush terms”

And of course the Clinton library. Yet not to worry, the atheist class will solve these problems that W started, with the help of H.

Wait, since when are you opposed to the exercising of free speech (in the early 1990s, the Supreme Court found that monetary contributions to organizations and candidates amount to free speech)? Oh wait, only when they don’t agree with you? Got it… And wait… you’re against people selling commodities for profit (aka taking advantage of a down-turn in prices)? God… you must hate a lot of investors… Face it… if Soros donated to right-wing causes, you wouldn’t mind his money–you’d defend his right to donate to whichever causes he wants. He supports left-wing causes, though, and therefore you don’t like that… that’s called hypocrisy…

Hillary care = taxpayers getting soaked, when doctors will be able to charge $185.00 for an asprin. The tax inflation will be like nothing we have ever seen. Gas prices will be like Europe. Taxes like the 65% they have in Sweden. It is coming from the creators of cut and run, how do you know they won’t chicken out half way into it.

  7. Joe's avatar Joe January 18, 2008 / 9:49 am

    Eric T,

You really need to stop just saying things as though they are fact when you really have no idea.

I’ll be willing to bet you every penny to my name that asprin will NOT get to $185 and that taxes will NOT get to 65%. I can’t speak to gas prices, because there are a lot of things that could feed into that. Heck, if Bush decides to strike Iran, gas prices may surpass those in Europe.

Anyway, you need to stop just assuming that if a Dem gets in there, they will raise everyone’s taxes, take away your guns and have gays running all over the country. You need to get over that… it ain’t going to happen.

    Rana,

Oh, I’ve got no problem with what Soros is doing in the sense that he’s a person who has a perfect right to engage in the political debate and use his money to advance his cause – the problem is the way liberals say that the GOP is the tool of the rich, when it becomes ever clearer that the really rich – the people with many billions – tend to favor liberalism…and if these super rich, like Soros, are cruel financial speculators of the worst sort, no liberal will utter a peep about it because they money is more important to them than any sense of morality.

    Rana,

Also good thing to keep in mind – it was we Catholics who fought the long and ultimately lost battle against usury and financial speculation like that practised by Soros…Catholics were saying 150 years ago that such things would lead to grief, and they have…but the “progressives”, then and now, are insistent…

Joe – and we can thank President Bush for our high gas prices today. Thanks to his decision to invade Iraq, we are paying the price with fuel being sky high. It will probably only get worse. It seems like I heard before we invaded Iraq that their oil would pay for this war and we (America) would benefit with lower gas prices. Exactly what did he say before the invasion that has turned out to be true? I will say that Cheney has certainly benefited from this war – he is now a very rich man.

    Mark,

Usury and financial speculation are evil, huh? Catholics fought against it, but those damn “progressives” (by which I assume you really mean Jews) won that battle.

Point of order, don’t you work for an insurance company? Do you understand how insurance works, that it is a form of usury and financial speculation? Does it bother you that your profession is “leading to grief”?

Bush Derangement Syndrome. That chant was from the Left. It’s for the oil! Then we can’t win this war! No AQ there! It’s a civil war only. Cut and Run at every rant. And now Cheney is a very rich man because ‘he benefitted from this war’. Cheney was a very rich man before the war and would be richer if there had been no war, he would still be CEO of Halliburton. So just another empty rant.

the GOP is the tool of the rich

Yeah, I mean, when the GOP’s entire financial platform is based on cutting taxes for the rich (because if there’s one thing the rich need, it’s more money) and favoring corporations over individuals and management over labor, how could anybody come to the conclusion that the GOP is the tool of the rich?

It’s much more direct and honest to simply say, “I hate George Soros,” Mark. And if you wish to be a writer, directness and honesty are two qualities you should be pushing to the forefront.

“Yeah, I mean, when the GOP’s entire financial platform is based on cutting taxes for the rich (because if there’s one thing the rich need, it’s more money)”

But…but…but… the rich are the ones that CREATE jobs!!!!!

SEW, no… that is not your so-called “Bush Derangement Syndrome”. They actually said that the oil profits would pay for their own reconstruction. That isn’t some talking point, the Administration actually SAID that.

So we go into Iraq and now the oil output is a fraction of what it was. You don’t think that had any affect on oil prices?

In fact, we should give THEM the rebates because they will go and invest in the stock market…. right?

Why do you people act like every person that makes over 200k owns a business and creates jobs? Why on earth would you think that??

So if you give rebates and/or cuts to the middle class and lower class, they will go and spend the extra money. That will create jobs because the demand is greater. The rich ones that do own businesses will get richer because they are getting more business. So that would be a win-win. Rich business owners make money and can create jobs. Low and middle class have extra money to spend.

Why is it so difficult for you people to think that way???

  17. SEW's avatar SEW January 18, 2008 / 1:13 pm

So Joe, who does CREATE jobs?

  18. Joe's avatar Joe January 18, 2008 / 1:30 pm

Didn’t I just go thru that? Did you read my comment or did you stop after the first line?

Companies create jobs when there is a demand for their product. So let’s go thru this simple example again…

Low & Middle income gets a tax rebate or cut. They will spend it on goods. With a larger demand for goods, companies will need to hire more workers to produce the goods. When you have more workers in the workforce making the goods, they are making money so they can buy more goods. All the while while there are more people to buy goods, then those owning the companies are making money and creating more jobs.

Now for your example… give the wealthy a tax rebate/cut because they “create jobs”.

They are already getting ahead right now. Give them more money to create those jobs. But if there isn’t a demand for the goods because people are living paycheck to paycheck, then they have no need to create those jobs. Therefore, the money goes into a savings account and never needs to enter the economy.

I don’t know about you, but I really don’t like your view.
